Worcester Fitness: what do users think?
Joe Riopel: I feel fit just looking at this place.
Joey Ruffo: A great place to exercise. Great equipment and very clean facility. Excellent and helpful staff.
George Maharis: They are too expensive to begin with. Plus, unprofessional staff.
Thomas McGinley: At $109 and up per month (for month-to-month), WF is at the top of the regional market pricewise and, having been a member for a year now, increasingly I have felt that the value is not there. The equipment is serviceable, although there are some serious 'bottlenecks,' e.g. one set of fly cables in the entire facility, only one quality set of battle ropes (in a class studio, so usually inaccessible), one public sled often used by PT, which can derail workouts. Furthermore, a huge portion of the downstairs workout sections have been allocated to classes/PT. I understand the need to raise revenue, but this comes at the expense of the baseline experience which, at $109+/month, should feel like more than an afterthought. For gym users who just want to get in, get through your sets, and get out, I can't recommend WF in light of the amount of the dues.Lastly, for my month-to-month membership, WF collected last month's dues at sign-up. I have submitted my cancellation, but now I have access to the facility for an additional month, which I neither want nor need. I should have pushed back on this when I first signed up...be forewarned of this practice.Edit: WF’s response highlights the facility’s focus on all users other than those who wish to get in, get through their sets, and get out (i.e. do not need classes/PT). Which is fine! No facility can be everything to everyone; in my case, it was not a fit. I stand by my critiques of equipment bottlenecks at WF. Working people, at least, are not able to access the boot camp studio during the majority of the day, as they are working during the majority of the day (during the workweek). I made no accusation of lack of transparency regarding collection of last month’s dues at sign-up, but it is an ill-advised business practice as it encourages members who are ready to move on and have submitted their cancellation to continue utilizing the facility as the last month’s dues have already been collected. I maintain that I should have pushed back on this practice when I signed up, and I encourage potential members to do so, to avoid this awkward situation.
Pat Sylvester: Class reunion
Jacqueline Ahearn: Tremendouse-!!!
Margo Murphy: Wonderful pool equipment available to use by the poolside, clean salt and chlorine water mixed, hot clean showers and locker room. respectful friendly supportive staff. must book to schedule pool Lane, quick to respond if you leave a message. due to the covid that you must call ahead which guarantees you a lane, time you want half hour or 60 minute swim. Enjoy💜
David Lamontagne: I have been a satisfied member of Worcester Fitness for 7 years now, but wanted to update an earlier review to add my thoughts on the new Peak Fitness program they have added this year. This program truly take my workouts to a new level. The Power Met Con classes combine the motivation and camaraderie of a group class with the individual coaching of a Fitness professional. I also love the fact that they offer so many classes so I can always fit one in regardless of my schedule. Thank you Paul and team!
Matt Savage: It's the best gym in the city by far. The equipment and facility are in great condition, but what makes Worcester Fitness special are the owners and employees. They are knowledgeable and kind, always willing to lend a helping hand. It's a cliche but being a member is really like being part of a community.
Kenny Janulewicz: Bartender Grady is awesome and the crowd and atmosphere were great!
Dot Shea: Worcester Fitness provides a safe, caring and personalized exercise experience for all members. Be sure to go and check it out!!
Coconut Monkey: can you please post more picture of equipment. like do you have a standing hack squat machine? i dont see one in the few pics you have of the equipment. leg day isnt complete without a standing hack squat. thanks
Cara Bjorklund: The parent-child swim lessons were engaging for my infant son. Kat, our instructor, engaged her students through song and gentle but progressive interactions with the water. He's now comfortable with the water and we're still able to use the language and songs Kat used during instruction.
Michael McCluskey: Great Swim Program! All the staff and instructors are great with the kids. I’ve had children go through all levels and highly recommend introducing your infant to water with Worcester Fitness.
Claudia Vallejos: My girls love their swim classes at Worcester Fitness, they look forward to them every week. The teachers and entire staff at WF are awesome. The classes are small and the kids receive great instruction. Would recommend to anyone looking for swim lessons.
Christina Olson: We have always been pretty big on water safety and wanted to get our children swimming early. We have been to multiple sessions and had multiple instructors for their swim program and we have seen such incredible progress with both our daughters. Our oldest is comfortable and confident in the pool. She looks forward to each week and is excited when she makes progress from week to week! Our youngest is in the parent-child class and she loves when it's pool day. The inclusion of music and lessons has really helped her thrive! We will stick with Worcester Fitness for our swim classes and recommend them to everyone looking for classes!
Colleen Donahue: Worcester Fitness swimming lessons have been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She started attending when she was 7 months old. She is now 2 and loves going so much that she asks multiple times a week to put on her bathing suit and go to the pool. The instructors are knowledgeable, engaging, and bring positive energy to the class. I highly recommend this program.
Nadine Young: My 4 and 6 year old have been enjoying private lessons with Christine for nearly a year. I cannot belive the progress they have made - from getting comfortable in the water, learning water safety, and most recently new strokes. They have built skill and confidence, and it has been a great experience watching them grow each week.
Lauren Robichaud: Both my boys attend swim lessons. The teachers are amazing and patient. I have seen such improvement with their swimming and they love the water now.
Elyse Favreau: We love swimming lessons at Worcester Fitness! My 3.5 year old been attending weekly for about 6 months now and has become so much more comfortable in the water. Miss Kat and the other instructors do a fantastic job introducing a variety of swimming techniques and water safety lessons. We would strongly recommend this program!
Joseph Cancelmo: My daughter was good in the water, however having a pool in the back yard, I wanted her to be stronger - so off to Worcester fitness we went - we started with regular classes and I decided private would be more beneficial and I was right. Her instructor Laura was a saint and my daughter is a sting swimmer now because of it. I even had my step son go and he is now on a new level. We are going to resume more lessons this spring to keep the momentum.

Dance Fitness Collaboration: what do users think?
Margie Santos: The tempo of the class and music was on point 👍
Kam Dee: You guys are always fun. It's been such a long time since I've taken Zumba or any fitness class.(and it showed lol) I drive from Dudley and the class price is affordable with the cost of Gas. Thanks so much for Zumba !
J Appiah: Instructors are amazing, classes push your limits yet are so much fun, instructors care about you and help you to meet your goals, very much like a family atmosphere here. Love it 😍
J. Ryan: Felt tired but great after one of Jimmy's fun and energetic class! Highly recommend 👍💥
Monica Maganzini: EDITED REVIEW:My first experience with Dance Fitness Collaboration was not ideal. I had chosen a 30 minute class via Zoom, to get a feel for the studio and style. The class had started over 10 minutes late, and I could not hear the instructor. I was able to see the instructor and hear the music. I felt like it was not a great first impression, and reviewed the studio as such. The owners of the studio reached out to me both through the Google Review forum, and email, to explain that this was not a typical issue, and they were very apologetic and wanted to show me a true experience of the class. I accepted their offer. The second experience, I received the Zoom link but could not hear or see anything from the instructors. I reached out to the studio to inform them of the assumed technical issues, and I received a very fast response.I gave them a third try via Zoom, and this time I was able to see the instructor and hear the music. I was not able to hear vocal commands of the instructor, but the angle of the camera was well situated so I could see the entirety of the movements and follow along through the visual cues, and the music.I am so appreciative of Dance Fitness Collaboration for taking the time to make things right with me, a first time client. I have faith that if they did this for me, they will make it a point to ensure more than satisfactory experiences with ALL of their clients. The care and customer support from the ownership speaks volumes about the community and the instructors they have on board.
Derek Ouimette: Such a positive experience, and an awesome instructor!!!
Melanie Silva: I love going to DFC! The energy is awesome! I have been many times and am never disappointed! Marco, Jimmy and Talin are all kind, gracious, intelligent human beings! And they believe in giving back... in the class and in the community. Ten thumbs up!
Alexandria M Rivera: Awesome place! They know you by name and encourage you to do the best you can! 3 different class to choose from: Step, Strong by Zumba, and Zumba to keep your work out fresh! They do occasionally specialty dance classes. I took Salsa on two! It was great!
Nikolin Ropi: Great experience with the 5am SBZ. Marco, Jimmy, and Talin are great instructors. You will enjoy the music, the moves and the strength after the class. 5 am classes are the very best. You will feel energized and rejuvenated. Good job guys for promoting healthier lifestyle.
Janice Machado: Great instructors!! Motivating class! Amazing atmosphere! Loved it
Oscar De La Rosa: Best Zumba instructors around!
Francis Towouh: Am glad to have listened to my daughter I was searching for a place I loved oh boy I found it after going through a loss close to me. Am happy and oh thanks to all the instructors. Sometimes it's not all about losing weight which comes but how you feel about yourself thanks again Alexandra
Thu Tran Murzycki: Have you ever been so excited about something great that you just can't wait to tell all of your friends and family about? Well Dance Fitness Collaboration is that place for me. I have been going here for just a short period of time and I truly enjoy every single minute spent here. It might seem a little pricier than a traditional corporate gym with traditional gym equipment but this place truly defies the term "traditional". I find myself here at least 5-6 times a week for multiple classes a day and could never say that about any other fitness facility that I have been a member of. If you are locked into a year or two contract at a place that you hate and dread going to, does it really yield more of a value than a place you love to spend time getting fit at? Not only are the instructors some of the very few greatest humans I have ever encountered but their energy and inviting nature is so infectious that you are bound to make a friend or two amongst some of their long time followers. Dance Fitness Collaboration offers many AM and PM classes so that you have no excuse but to show up and put in the work. The Zumba classes are always high energy and fun and the music selection for the dances are the best I have ever heard. I have also progressed and started taking Strong by Zumba with them and even though the class is tough, I'm always glad I did it and feel accomplished when finished. They also offer Yoga and Zumba Step and I really can't wait to see what else they are going to do, but for now, trust me when I say, you will not regret at least giving it a try... I sure didn't.
Margaret: I have been going here since they opened and everyone that knows me is well aware of how much I love this place. The instructors are passionate about what they do, there is no judgement and a great workout for the body, mind and soul. An oasis in a crazy world ! Don't be afraid to give it a try because it is worth every second of it.
Tatiana Buchannan: I was looking to try Zumba & found Dance Fitness Colaboration online! Such a fun class!!!! I’ve been going for about 2 weeks and I love it. I actually have fun working out now. Love it.
Courtney Hider: This class makes "working out" fun. I danced for 13 years and now I get to relieve those days, all while exercising and having fun! Jimmy & Marco are incredible! Zumba Fitness, Zumba Step, Zumba Strong, and Yoga too! My Tuesday and Wednesday classes are something I truly look forward to every week! I would absolutely recommend Dance Fitness Collaboration!!
Thuy Tran: In the short 2 months that I have been at DFC, I have absolutely fallen in love with Jimmy, Marco, and Talin. They are talented instructors that cares. The most important aspect is my kids are allowed to workout with me. They offer a lot of classes with various times throughout the day making easy to work around my schedule. The studio is always clean and the energy is always AMAZING! This is the place to try your first Zumba class. Bring your friends and become part of the DFC family!
Mily Feagans: The best Zumba class in worcester! I always leave with energy!

Paradigm Pole Fitness: what do users think?
Katelyn Parsons: This studio is great and willing to work with all levels! I highly recommend taking classes here!
Melissa Moriarty: Definitely one of the most fun things I have ever done. I surprised my bestie coming here for her bachelorette and we all had a blast. Reina was an amazing instructor and made us feel so comfortable. So much laughing. I can't recommend Paradigm Pole Fitness enough.
Norela H.: Admittedly this studio is the only real option I know of in the Worcester area so I didn’t have high expectations when I first joined as it was my only choice. After my first class I was blown away by the attention I received from Reina. I joined Dec 2021 so the maximum was 4 students per class, which I Loooove. I’m selfish 😅 I want as much attention and help as possible. So far, I’ve take 14 classes total between Reina, Meena, and Jill. You couldn’t pay me to choose a favorite between them. The support and attention you’ll receive from the instructors is incomparable and the price point is just right. I’m not an athletic person and I don’t reeeeally workout, but this new journey has inspired me to push myself. I’ve had a bunch of really good classes that left me feeling confident. And admittedly I’ve had maybe 2? Classes that were really tough for me and left me questioning if it’s worth it… buuuut I purchased two 10-packs out of spite and bounced back with a vengeance. I’m still at level 1 but I’m ecstatic to keep going. Jill was initially a favorite for me because she goes at your pace to the utmost degree. I love how she explained things. She babied me when I needed it and encouraged very well. Meena is definitely more of a hardass but I NEED (and appreciate) that too! Reina is extremely focused on her students and clearly loves what she does. If you’re a newbie, initially go for the intro package at a killer price, but stay for the quality instructors. They don’t miss a beat.I will say that scheduling capacity for beginners is at a maximum and the online booking dynamic is AGGRESSIVE lol. You have to be so on top of your game to snag a spot. It’s worth it. I’ve heard they will be changing locations this year to a bigger studio. I know that’ll mean more spots, I hope the quality stays the same in bigger classes. If it doesn’t, that would be a deal breaker for me. But I have high expectations now since I can vouch for their quality overall.
Labbe: Fantastic place full of amazing teachers. Great place to build confidence and muscle. 💪❤️💃|
Noelle Sypteras: All of the instructors here are amazing, super helpful and bring a great energy to class.
Kara Boucher: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityBest pole studio I have ever been too! The instructors are so nice, knowledgable , and supportive! Maggie Ann has created such a welcoming and amazing space, highly recommend this studio!!! 😃
Emma Klim: The quality of instruction from this studio is unmatched
Charisse Shields: Lots of fun, chill environment, funny and knowledgeable instructor
Madalyne Chamberlain: The classes are amazing and so much fun!
Paige Alvarez: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Beq Lendvay: Awesome instructors, fun classes, challenging workouts. Everything rocks about this place!
Chrissy N: Paradigm is the best pole studio I’ve ever been to in terms of instruction - Maggie Ann is the owner and principle instructor. She is a national and international pole champion so you know you’re in good hands. This studio builds strong foundations with an emphasis on proper muscle engagement, technique and form in order to make progressing as a pole dancer/athlete easier. There is a wide rabge of levels here from intro to level 4 (pro-status)! Maggie also has excellent flexibility and exotic dance classes to make for a well rounded pole dancer. She’s the best instructor I’ve ever had and because of Maggie I’ve accomplished tricks I never thought I would. I look forward to going to the studio as much as possible - even though it’s an hour and half from where I live ITS SO WORTH IT!I also love the Mission Motion Charity polevshows Maggie puts on as a way to perform without competing!
Audrey RS: Looooooooooove this stuuuuudio!!! Maggie and is a GREAT instructor and the studio is such a positive and fun environment!!
Alice: This studio is amazing!! All the instructors are fantastic and really take the time to make sure you feel comfortable and understand each part of a move. Most of the classes I've taken were with Maggie, so the rest of this review will be about her classes.Maggie is absolutely the best. First, her warmups are ingenious - they are workouts in and of itself (be prepared to be sore the next day) and always relate to what we will be working on later in class. So, for example, in the warmup we may do a side-ways leg crunch and 30 mins later she'll demonstrate a move that looks familiar because we had done something similar in the warm up, and our bodies already know how to get into the move.Second, she breaks down everything in such a way that even a complicated combination seems doable. And she can instantly spot what needs to be fixed to make a move stronger. And if something doesn't make sense right away, and I'm having difficulty with a particular move, she's really good at explaining it a different way or approaching it from another angle.Third, she is super nice and funny. When I first started pole, she made me feel immediately welcome, and she remembered my name the next class! (All the instructors make an effort to get to know students). And she always keeps the classes light-hearted and fun!So, in conclusion, you should definitely come take a class at Paradigm - you won't regret it! Hope to see you here one day!
Sammy Antinoro: Great friendly environment. Maggie Ann is a pro national champ and you get to work side by side with her and learn from the best. It's just a great place to feel comfortable and try something new.
Nicole Guerrero: This place is so much fun. I love Maggie 3 she pushed when i didn't believe in myself and i was able to mount on the pole. Builds a lot of confidence. Must go back!!!!!
Katie Marie: If you’re looking for a fun And rigorous workout, this is the place to be! Take one class and you can’t wait to come back! The instructors are talented and knowledgeable. It’s an upbeat, fun, and safe environment.
Sherry Pippert: At 44 years old and out of shape, I started my pole journey here - Maggie and all the instructors are so knowledgeable and fun! I finally found a great workout that I actually look forward to! Only took 44 years. So lucky to have this studio near us. Go! You won’t regret it!

Crunch Fitness - Worcester: what do users think?
Brandon Morris: The staff where very unhelpful the lady at the front desk was rude. Gave me a hard time trying to use my free day pass.
Kel Kawas: Remember when crunch was open 24/7? That was cool. It was the best gym in the city. Now you can't even go on a Saturday evening. Big sad. 3 stars tho cuz the staff is awesome.
Liz Wettengel: Cheap monthly cost but it shows. Did the three day trial and I’m glad I didn’t just sign up immediately.Dirty and full of old/half broken equipment. I’ll take a pass. Pretty gross.
Morgan Kreiss: I really enjoy this gym. They have a wide variety of machines and weights. They have a great turf area which is nice for core/stretching. It does get very busy, and typically gets busy with people who know what they are doing/are very fit. This could be motivating for some, but could also see how it could be intimidating. Overall, definitely worth the price tag!
chelldon berry: Crunch fitness it the place to go get your workout
Aidan Montgomery: Great staff and great equipment!
Charles Johnson: Awesome place! Staff is very nice and love working out here! Much recommended!
Jason Ly: I love this gym. It is one of the gyms I have ever worked out at. The gym is always is cleaned. The staff is friendly and there are a lot of equipments.
Antonio Garcia: Great gym community, sometimes crowded and difficult to find proper weights during peak times.
Stephanie Lignos: Is a great place to workout. Great equipment and environment
Nathan Huang: nice when it’s not busy. staff are friendly, machine broken here and there but they get fixed eventually
gwen johnson: Awesome gym. Been coming for a year. Super friendly. The front desk crew- I know them all by name.they greet you coming and going. They listen to concerns and do their best to get any equipment repaired asap.
José Felipe Costa: Best gym in Worcester
Liam Genninger: Great
Ryan B: Step up from pf love the community and location
Leonardo Curty baptista: the place is perfect, the staff are super helpful, the gym is always clean and smells good! I recommend it, a good place to train.
Andrés Gómez: It’s my home gym, staff is nice and the schedules are more than good… also the vibe is great , I definitely recommend them to my friends and family.Only concerns, there is only one full bathroom and showers are curtainless..
Huy Ngo: Love this gym! Always clean and friendly!
Jason Mangra: I come here everyday and it a safe fun and judge free environment.
Vinnie Marrone: The Gym was very well put together and more than enough room for everyone. The only issue is it can get busy at some points of the day but that is to be expected at any gym. Great experience overall!
Jonathan Santos: Great workout with great equipment but gets really busy really quickly.

Anytime Fitness: what do users think?
corbin stafford (AtomicZombieX): I work down the street so I thought about checking out this place. I went on the website to look at the times thry had staff and I booked an appointment to take a tour. I Planned out becoming a member today( the day of the appt.) But when I arrived there was no staff. I called the number to the business and the mailbox was full. On the door under staffed hours it only said call Alex at this number so i did. A Nice and apologetic man said that there is no staff on duty and that the next day I can come in is tomorrow. I told him that I actually had an appointment for today. He said he didn't know why the website allows appointments like that to be made. I said maybe thry should update that on the website and he gave the most said excuse of any franchise saying that that was the franchises issue and they can't change it. I don't know when I'll come back because this is still the closest gym for me but if the service gets better when they are actually staffed then I will update this review. Sadly this is a poor way to retain newcomers to this gym so I would not be surprised if thry lost newcomers this way.
Moe Rachid: Nice stuff and always clean
David Jefferson: Awesome small gym, friendly patrons, good staff
Georgia Johnson: Avoid this gym at all costs. I've been a member for almost a year. In that time, the cleanliness of the facility and maintenance of machines has only decreased. Machines go weeks at a time left broken, staff is hardly ever present, and the bare minimum of attention is applied to cleaning. Everything is dusty and dirty. This is not the fault of the business, but members here also tend to be very inconsiderate (no wiping down machines, placing their personal items at multiple stations). There are very few weighted machines to choose from. Bathroom showers are covered in mold. Canceling has been a huge headache - I have been unable to get a response from the owner, John. So, contacted my bank to stop payment. I could go on. Take your money and time elsewhere. There is a nearby Planet Fitness and YMCA, which have been great experiences, and a wonderfully run Anytime Fitness on Shrewsbury Street that is worth a visit.
Tiny Bucks: If I could have given this location ZERO stars I would have. Unfortunately Alex the manager us Awesome and he is stuck with a owner like John. I’m not going to go into detail about my bad experience with John the owner of this gym. Let’s just say he needs to learn people skills when after all you are in the business that revolves around people. As for the gym it’s self maybe spend sometime in the gym and fix it up a bit. Alex keep doing great man maybe one day the gym will be yours.
John J: I use this Anytime location because it’s conveniently located for me. My biggest criticisms are the cleanliness and poor quality machines. The power racks are nice, but the setup for them is a little odd. The deadlift platform is tiny and there didn’t seem to be a jack for the barbell. The machines look like cheap, Chinese made products. The staff didn’t seem very friendly, which is not a huge deal for me, but others might find it off-putting. The biggest plus, so far, is that it’s not usually packed. Anytime on Shrewsbury street is much better, even though it can be pretty busy at times.PS, that is gum stuck to the elliptical machine.
Greg Guertin Jr: They have the basics of a gym for the size. It's also cleaned to an ok level. I have experienced gyms that offer more variety and cleaner. I'm not a fan of the cancellation fee but that's for anything I do. I could get a better price somewhere else but due to the convenience of this location they will have me as a member.
Andrew Blanchard: Would not recommend this gym to my worst enemy.
Ryan Worthington: Three power cages, an assortment of dumbells, and a good amount of machines. Loads of cardio equipment and a room for bodyweight/yoga/pilates work. Beside anytime gym around the worcester area.
Joey: Critical:QualityNasty dirty run down you would think they would clean better because of the virus disgusting!!
Tim Cranford: Not impressed. No locker room... you change in the bathroom. No showers, small space, staff was snobby.
Katelin Mcmilleon: The owner, John Cherubini, hates to cancel members so he avoids you until he can suck every last dime out of you!he is arrogant and doesn't care about the gym, the members or his employees. He let's the gym fall apart and won't put anything back into it then wonders why he can't get members.
Matthew Holmes: Recently joined- very friendly staff- facilities are clean and well maintained, love the 24-hour convenience, and looking forward to exploring some of the video on demand fitness classes
Nathaniel Raymond: I love this place only thing it needs is another squat rack
Bryan Trinque: This place is great. It is always clean and has a very friendly staff. Unfortunately I needed to cancel my membership because I no longer live or work in the area but they made the process very easy unlike many other gyms I have had a membership at.
Jakob Osborne: Not clean.bad staff
Morgan: Pretty good gym with excellent staff.
Jef Safer: Clean. Not too crowded. Decent selection of equipment.
Sarah Deal: Nice little gym, more for older people trying to not die than muscle pumping weight lifters, although there is a free weight area. The unisex single seat bathrooms/changing rooms can be a plus or a minus depending on your priorities, but either way, they aren't cleaned enough. Can be over crowded during the after work peak.
GoofyApeGaming: Sure its anytime but you can use all the lifting equipment in no time. Great beginning gym or for the weekend worriers
Dena: Great gym!!! Only limited option concerning equipments.
