She dealt with some social anxiety in the beginning and they were so kind and untiring to her all the staff are amazing and go above and beyond she blossomed without the year and to see her on stage at recital I couldn’t thank chickees enough she did amazing!! She was so excited for recital and they made it so exciting for the girls. The recital went off without a hitch and was so professional so many compliments about the studio from my family and how smooth it was even the dress rehearsal they know 100 percent what they are doing. She’s so comfortable now and loves it she wants to join the competition team. If you are not already at chickees your at the wrong studio I can’t recommend them enough!! AMAZING!!!!

Valerie Santoro: I've tried getting a hold of this company now for months and stopped receiving responses. They then offered a pop-up class and I thought perfect way to get my foot in the door so my daughter can attend. I recieved a response back quickly and expressed I had an issue getting a response before and so they asked some follow up questions. I recieved nothing after that yet again and when I reached out about details and confirmation for my daughter to attend the pop up class, I again, got nothing. In the end we never got to attend and I've given up.

I and my husband Andrius asked for possibility of learning precisely those two dances. We were assured that we will get highest quality classes, so we bought six of them.Guess what?In six lessons we were taught just four moves of each dance. We weren't progressed at all. Looked like instructor was not interested in giving anything more.When we checked out another dance studio in Worcester. She wanted to be here, with these kids, she wanted to work with Massy and Dave and learn this type of dance.Living 45 minutes out from the studio, working full time and with two other children in other sports was going to be a challenge for us....Well needless to say three years later we have been doing this every week, we made it happen and made it work!I can honestly say it was the best decision we ever committed to for our girl.I remember her first class like it was yesterday....She was so nervous about starting something so new and different at 13...she did competitive and town cheer her whole life and gymnastics, dance was not something familiar to her. She was scared that she was older and the other girls had been doing it longer, and she wouldn’t be able to catch up, or they had already had friendships and she wouldn’t fit in. I honestly thought her first class would be her last. I just wasn’t sure how it was going to go for her.She went in and I waited...she came out an hour and a half later and she was so happy, talking about how the other dancers were so welcoming to her and how she loved Massy and Dave and that she had so much fun and couldn’t wait until the next week. I was so surprised because I really wasn’t sure how it was going to go being older and having shared those same fears, I was just proud she gave it a try.Fast forward to now and she has no friends at Ritmos but she has a family, she calls them her “Dance Family” and loves them so much! Some of these girls have become her very best friends, on top of that she has met some of the most respectful and wonderful young men I have ever came across in my life! As a parent it makes me so happy for her and grateful for this opportunity she was given.Over the past few years the team has traveled to Boston and to other local venues performing at times in front of thousands, these kids have developed such strong bonds and have made so many memories together, they have gone to birthday parties and movies and just tonight she said, “Mom, I absolutely love the new girls this year! They are so great!” So this tells me the culture and the morale Massy and Dave instills in the studio has not changed from when she started years back.The steps she has learned and the technique is unreal, I am blown away at how far she has come, I still cry every winter and spring show!I have no words to describe Massy and Dave....other than truly amazing, they treat these kids as if they were their own and you can see it in their faces that they love what they do.Ritmos has brought my daughters confidence to another level and made her fall in love with something so special.I will be so sad when there are no more showcases for me to come and watch, and I will miss our late night dance dinners in the car after she goes off to college next year. But I will never, ever for one second regret taking that 45 minute ride to the studio each week for my kid, because I know that when she moves on....all the life lessons and love that Massy and Dave have taught her she will have close to her heart forever and she will be able to look back and be thankful for all of these moments.-Leann R.

Jodi Sanchez: My son, RJ, was 12 years old when he started dancing for Ritmos Academy. He had no dance experience, but Massy was excited to teach him. RJ is now 19 years old and still dancing for Ritmos. The impact dance had had on his life is overwhelming. RJ has developed a level of confidence that allows him to take the stage in front of thousands of people. He has become a stronger leader not only on the dance floor but also in the studio. He has learned the importance of hard work, commitment, practice, and teamwork.These are also all important life lessons. RJ has an extended family, his Ritmos family. Jordan Berg Powers: Really great Dance Studio. They are great with our daughter and kids generally. Teaches good technique, age appropriate dance moves, and outfits. Joining this dance studio had been great for our daughter.

Daria Lay: I went for my neices' picture day. It was a larger layout than I could tell from the street! Smallish lobby, but spacious area for classes!

Revolution Now: My daughter has been a student at this studio since the age of three. She has grown not only as a dancer but also as an individual. The teaching staff is top notch in their fields. The studios atmospheres is positive, caring, and respectful. Highly recommended!

Timothy Maloney: My daughter is going into her fourth year dancing at Paula Zawalich Dance Studio. Not only has she learned the basics of dance, but she is far more advanced than I ever thought she would be at her age! I knew she wanted to dance from the time she could walk, but after a friend referred me to this dance studio I finally took the initiative to call and start her in her first class. Now four years later she has so many friends, has been busy all summer with play dates, and has attended summer dance camp. As a summer birthday girl as well, we recently had a princess themed dance party at the studio. All her friends were invited, and Pam really made it more magical and exciting than we ever imagined. The studio is certainly family friendly, and most importantly student/teacher friendly. The staff really gets the kids involved, and their patience with the students is remarkable. My daughter continues to not only succeed in dance at Paula Zawalich Studio, but her self-esteem and confidence is priceless as a result. I would definitely recommend this studio to any parent looking around, you will not be disappointed.

Kelly Army: The best dance studio around!!! I cant say enough about it and recommend it to anyone whose child wants to dance, I infact came here on a referral and have never been happier. I have had previous experience with my eldest daughter at another two other studios and was not nearly as happy as I am with The Zawalich Academy. My youngest started here when she was 2 and is in her 5th year. Miss Pam creates a very inviting, cheerful and enthusiastic environment for the young and older kids. Not to mention that staff is mostly made up of older students that assist or teachers that have been with the studio for years. I also cant say enough about the recitals she puts on. I am always disappointed when they end, but always looking forward to the next one. My daughter will continue to dance here until she leaves for college. This is a dance Academy that goes above and beyond with a personal touch.

Marnie D: Taking my daughter to the PZDA was an easy descision for me, I studied dance there for 20 years. When you become a part of the PZDA you feel like you are a part of a family. There instructors are wonderful and have a great rapport with the children. They learn not only the basics in dance, but also teamwork and respect. I would highly recommend this studio for any student who wants to learn dance.
