Shannon Navarro: Best Chinese food I've found in Worcester so far. Chicken fingers are legit and big. Food isn't too greasy and you don't feel terrible after eating like a lot of other places. Red Pepper: what do users think?
Jon Webster: Vegetarian options: In general the food we received from take-out was terrible!!! The Crab Rangoon's were very commercial in flavor (too sweet) and consistency (too smooth with no pieces of anything in it.) The wrapper for the Rangoon was pre-made commercial junk. The dumplings were 80% dough, and the vegetable delight did not appear very fresh!!! The duck sauce and hot mustard were packaged in small plastic throw away wrappers and tasted terrible also! The place we usually go was not answering their phone so we took a chance. We will never go to the Red Pepper again.
Rebecca Mallozzi: Love it, but PLEASE offer delivery!!
tony jones: Delicious food. Busy restaurant. Super fast service. I ordered spicy cumin lamb and it was out in three minutes. I was the first customer of the day, however.I would give a five star but my meal, though delicious, was pretty basic with just meat and onions. Vegetables would make it feel more complete. It was really good though. I would definitely return!Happy eating!
Richard Best: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5More
Judy T: Very tasty food and authentic. We got the beef with fried tofu and hot pot and spare ribs with garlic also an order of house fried rice. Everything was delicious and came out fast.
Mati Alcantara: Delicious, authentic and super spicy🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Sonam N Sherpa: Great food and good portion too. Ordered take out from here for the first time. And I have to say, it did not disappoint.

Dawn Owen: I wish we lived locally because we sure have had a tough time finding food that tastes like this where we live (SC) The service here is fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and we really appreciated that. The hot and sour soup was DELICIOUS! We enjoyed the scallion pancakes. My husband had the Hunan Chicken and he was delighted by its flavor and spice level. I had the Beef with scallions, ginger and garlic and loved it. I definitely recommend that you give them a try and next time we're in the area, we'll be sure to enjoy more of their tasty foods 😊
Nicholas Brennan: Place has delicious food would highly recommend!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Guangbin Chen: We had green pepper fish and vegetables for lunch today, all the dishes are delicious and the staff are friendly. Strongly recommend for you to have a taste!
Colleen Shimkoski: Very authentic and delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because waitress was on laptop and very inattentive. The food is worth the wait, but I do hope that service is better next time.
Clay Mangiameli: Highly recommend Red Pepper especially for good Sichuan food, this is a step up above your typical American Chinese fast food restaurant. One of my favorite restaurants in Worcester and go at least every other month. If you like spice this is the place. I would reserve to get any fried dish like their amazing "L01 Deep fried chicken" for dine in only as they do loose their crisp if doing takeout. Some of my favorite dishes so far:- L7 Cumin lamb, L1 fried chicken, E7 shredded beef, J14 Hot beef noodle soup- L14 mala pot (lots of seafood and good for several people)Their spicy wontons are also incredible and quite spicy.
Todd Nagy: Great, authentic Szchewan food. BYOBFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
daniel lafratta: Great food as always. Reminds me of the food in Taiwan.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Katherine Qualls: The skinny: One of the best authentic sichuan places you can find in the Boston area.Overall was very impressed by this spot - it sits unassumingly in Worcester away from the hustle and bustle of Boston or Chinatown. But if you're ever in the area and craving chinese food I'd recommend you come here. We ordered a few dishes to share: Dry Braised Pork Intestine w Spicy Sauce in Hot Pot, cumin lamb, tendons in chili, wontons spicy and the sliced fish tofu with spicy sichuan pepper. The favorites were the fish and the tendons - perfect mala spice - just enough to taste the different flavors - without overpowering the dish. Would definitely recommend these. Everything else was absolutely delicious as well. Cumin lamb had a great spice balance and came in a large portion. Wontons spicy were the only item that I was not super impressed by - solid but was flavors were bland compared to our other dishes and a little less juicy than I would have liked.Would I come back: Yes - this will be my go to place for authentic sichuan food when I'm in the area.
Barbara: Food was very good and authentic, the one thing I didn't like, that the hot Pot is a meat dish that's served over a heater not a soup. Is a bit misleading! But nevertheless it tasted good!Parking: Enough parking available

Jasmine Torres: Best Chinese food in this area. Expensive since have to customize the order. But everything is expensive now. For New Years. The menu is reduced so that’s a Heads up.
david berube: Schezwan beef was 95% celery and peanut. No Schezwan peppers, cook said they don't use them. Egg rolls undercooked, fried rice had ne flavor. If I could give no star I would.
Yvonne Carrier: I have been ordering from here for 2 years and it has rapidly gone down-hill. I just ordered kung pau chicken and I asked for no celery - what I got was a few pieces of weird looking chicken, a tablespoon of peanuts, huge chunks of a few peppers, and 2 cups of mushrooms - which aren't even supposed to be in this dish! I had to pick out all the mushrooms, and it was pitiful what was left. It was disgusting - not worth what I paid at all

I'll be loyal to them from now on Thank you Hong Kong Island 🙏♥️

Morgan C: Best Sichuan food I've had in Worcester so far. I especially liked the dry chili fried chicken and my partner liked the Hunan chicken. Cozy atmosphere and attentive service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
cynthia turncliff: Bad, never going there again. Soup was cold and had to be sent back; service was extremely slow,; order mixed up. We asked for duck sauce and other condiments that are usually on the table at a Chinese restaurant and they were delivered straight from the refrigerator.
casandra Lynn: Just left there and the chicken pad Thai was one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth it tasted like pure vinegar DISGUSTING and irritated that I spent so much and can't even tolerate eating it!
Kim Walker: Too expensive to be cold, with food that is salty, greasy & bland with notes of sour.Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Bruce: Best Lo Mein 🔥Parking: Easy access in out
Jai Burdick: The owner is great, served us some great sushi
Kay Zula: I heard good things, so I stopped by with my partner for a nice meal out. The place is nice looking (although it needs a dusting in the dining room) and the food was, well, REALLY good. Lots of great flavor and taste - yum! However, the thing that stood out to me the most is that there's no music or anything... Instead they have some enormous TV in the dining room blaring the news. Loudly. You know what I don't want to hear when I'm trying to have a rare meal out with my partner? The news talking about horrible tragedies and the economy tanking and people getting hurt and lying politicians. So we asked if we could not listen to the news and maybe have something else so they just... Turned off the audio. So it was dead silent and you could hear every conversation clearly. It was weird and awkward. There's plenty of decent Chinese food in the area so I'm not sure why you'd go to this place versus others when the atmosphere was so bad. We probably won't be back for a long time if at all.
Noah Ghost: They put jalapeno in the crab rangoons, what is even going on right now...!!!!The dry diced chicken with chili peppers... you must try the dry diced chicken with chili peppers. This stuff is not ordinary chinese food.I'm going to work remotely and make this place my office. This is stupid good. I always said yong shing is my favorite, ever since high school, but wan wang, man.Youre welcome i love u

Eneida Mercado: Smoker standing at the entrance upon entering & leaving the restaurant. Ordered a pu-pu platter & it was served within minutes @ room temperature & was not fresh also ordered house rice which arrived 20min after the platter so not sure if the platter is prepared ahead of time vs prepared when ordered.Drinks were not refilled either & if you enjoy a very 'loud' atmosphere this may be the place for you (by loud I mean ppl swearing & arguing) some ppl don't mind it, me, not so much.

Never seen anyone in the place except for husband and wife. Now kids are in the building which is great! I think they are finally trying to stay home and relax!. Yes u deserve it!. 施敏华: very tasty 😋
Abdulrahman Sabbagh: Best middle eastern place in town
Maryellen Edwards: Excellent food - we ordered for an office luncheon and everyone enjoyed Harvest Moon II. We'll be back for sure!
Katherine Qualls: A family owned restaurant of 20+ years. It is our go to place for Chinese take out. We always get their appetizers and our go to are their crab rangoons. The portion sizes are large and the pricing is very reasonable. They are allergen trained and are flexible with substitutions. The service is outstanding especially from their two sons who I practically watched them grow up in the establishment. The service is quick but make sure to pre-order for New Year's Eve because it is their busiest time of the year
Amanda Ndujife: Best moo shu beef ever definitely won't be going anywhere else
Abu Yeezy: Either the good reviews are fake or those people have no taste buds. I took a gamble on the Chinese spot and I failed miserably. They messed up my order. They charged me for stuff and then I got home and it wasn’t there. But that’s secondary because the taste of the food was barely eatable. No flavor, small portions…..Save your money and go somewhere else.
Mark Joyce: Not amazing not terrible. Fair price for what you get. The lunch specials are a solid deal and you get a lot of food. Rangoons are fast and are again a decent deal for your money. The wonton soup is meh, not much flavor and is a clear broth if that’s what your looking/not looking for.
Gilo m: Very good Chinese food and service is fast. High recommended.
Evan Pasenello: Best Chinese!
Kenneth Chapman: Small dishes, high prices
Christina Morgan: They always have great food and fast service!
Chics_Dividend_Guy Passive Income: This place is always good
Meredith Moga: We love this place, always good food and ready quickly even on the weekends! They have given us free sodas and things when we have big orders and they have a super nice staff. We always get the General Tso's and the oyster broccoli, both of which are always great. Egg rolls and low mein are great too. Can't go wrong ordering here!
Robert S.: Great food for a take out place.
Luke Lang: Best Chinese food in worcester county.
James Chambers: Best in Massachusetts
Mawuli Kwame: Best Chinese take out comes from here....
Winfred Njenga-Mburu: 👌ok
Aaron Richman: My wife said her dinner that I got her from here was very good.

Danilo Talisayon: They lied. This is not the best Chinese restaurant. Very mid to be completely honest. Maybe its the best Chinese restaurant at their address but I don’t think its the best Chinese restaurant within a 2 foot radius.
Mark D: They most certainly don’t deserve one star. Absolutely terrible food.

New Golden Dragon Island Restaurant: what do users think?
Ulyssess g: MUCH better now that it's under new ownership and management. The last owners drove my away from this place and previously the food wasn't really that good, now however the food is decent at least and staff is friendly. They do however tend to over charge you.... for example I went down to the location and picked up my food, yet they still charge a convenience fee? For what?
Irish Lass: This "new" place is lacking seriously! Always came here for decades, always good. Peking ravioli...disgusting!! Ordered Sweet and sour chicken, chicken fingers, and egg rolls along with the Peking ravioli...never coming here again.
Laura McGrath: I live in the neighborhood and have been getting food from here over 20 years. I used to love the food from here but since it’s the “New” Golden Dragon Restaurant the food was very disappointing. The Crab Rangoon filling tastes sweet ..too sweet. The steak teriyaki was tough, dry and flavorless. Requested 1 small container hot sauce which I didn’t receive. I won’t be ordering from here anymore.
Kathleena Lawton Greening: Always delicious... the food is always hot!! The service is very welcoming!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Fingers, Crab Rangoon …More
Heather-Lyn Haley: Used to be Best takeout anywhere. Our whole family will miss your delicious menu. Thank you for keeping us well-fed! Note this place is under new ownership post COVID and not the same.Food: 2/5 …More
Brad Senosk: Depending on what you order some meals are very very good and others...... Questionable lol chicken don't seem like chicken lol.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Katherine Qualls: My family likes the crab rangoons, lo mein, and beef teriyaki from here. The lo mein is a little bit smoky in just the right way and you don't feel the usual sluggish-ness that other lo meins give you after you're done eating which is a plus! The beef teriyaki is pretty yummy I just don't have it in the pic for this order. We would order trays of crab rangoons from here for gatherings and guests would ask us where we ordered them from!
Douglas Tyler: Great place!
Yandiel Estrada: The chicken was so try the orange chicken was bad the rise had a bug in it the worst Chinese food ever
Jose Figueroa: WORST Chinese in Worcester NEW OWNERSI wouldn't even feed my dog this food
Diane Mikulski: After the sale of the original Golden Dragon Island , we were worried about where to get really good Chinese Food…..today we thought we would try the New Golden Dragon Island and ordered a PuPu Platter and Moo Shu Pork ….I know the PuPu Platter is really not considered “Chinese Food” but my husband loves it and he told me it was so great that he thought we should write a review! The Crab Rangoon was super special, with a wonderful filling with a little sweetness that made it more delicious! The breading on the Chicken Finger and Fried Shrimp was surprisingly, light and delish. The chicken was moist. Boneless Ribs were numerous and also good.My Moo Shu Pork was absolutely deliciously perfect. It comes with 6 pancakes and a side of white rice. To my surprise, the pancakes were light and held together wonderfully making wrapping the Moo Shu easy……I have gotten (at other restaurants) pancakes more like tortillas……not at the New Golden Dragon Island, really, they were perfect. We are glad we tried and look forward to trying other dishes !
Matthew Brown: Bad service
V Brn: Food was horrible chicken was pink and raw, I could not eat it.
Mark Garrett: Several Months Ago The Golden DragonChanged Ownership Or Management!Cannot Get A True Answer! When lWalked In And Did Not See The RegularChefs. I Had That Sinking Feeling! The Quality And Taste Was Disappointing!Total Different Product!
S4066: Their fried rice is uneatable …I really tried to eat it but it’s probably the worse fried rice I ever had.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: Yes …More
WW Worc WW Worc: Fresh food. Quality is by far the best place around. Spotless clean and food is priced right. Love going there the family that runs the place is exceptional.
Sergio Giannitti: Unos de mis sitios favoritos
Corinne Gutierrez: I had to pick a star to write a review. I am pretty sure they forgot to put the taste back into their food after the pandemic. I have never had such awful Chinese food in my life. Spring rolls just had dough and cabbage. The beef teriyaki was stringy and had a weird texture. To top it all off, I saw the cook scoop rice into a container then take some out with his bare hands.
Jon Peterson: Under new management was not overly impressed by the food.
John Lucey: Crazy what new ownership does to what used to be a great place. Been getting food from there sense I was a kid. They should've bought their recipes with the place.
