Cynthia Laidlaw: Orchard Hill Equestrian Center is an excellent facility. I’ve been a boarder for 10+ years and I love the farm. The horse care is excellent, staff is professional and friendly and they keep the barn clean and organized. My horse is very happy there. The instructors are goal oriented and people are friendly and welcome. It’s a real “horse community”. I live in Boston and the drive is about 45 minutes.

Patricia Suomala: Orchard Hill Equestrian Center Creates a Caring and Learning Environment-I have spent the summer teaching Horse Knowledge at OHEC’s summer camp and I can attest to the following-As an equestrian, certified veterinary technician and licensed MA high school teacher of animal science- I applaud OHEC for being an exceptional environment for all age levels interested in horses. Whether your interest is the sport of eventing, dressage or pleasure riding- OHEC have the means and school horses to fulfill your dreams. OHEC offers an enriching environment to learn about horse care. In addition, the quality of instructors available and school horses will allow you or your child to reach realistic riding goals. The instructors not only teach but also compete in recognized equestrian event- to enrich their own progress and motive their students. Of note, the school horses are “priceless” teachers and care takers of your child. Dazt Dasgl: Orchard Hill is a beautiful place with many nice people and great facilities. However, the lack of good school horses forces many more advanced riders to leave and go to other farms where they can reach their goals. Many students are frustrated from the lack of school horses that can jump higher than a cross rail and be suitable for a more advanced student to ride (and not be overused!!). Currently, there are only about two horses and a couple more small ponies that are can jump. Also, because of the demand for jumping horses, these horses and ponies are overused, often going 2-3 times a day. Although, the staff does care about the horses and are treated well, with every horse being turned out daily and given the proper amount of hay and grain. For boarders, Orchard Hill is perfect with great trainers, turnout, and care. Overall, it's a nice place for boarders, and beginner riders, with a lack of good school horses for more advanced riders seeking to canter and jump.
Debbie Winning: My daughter and I first started riding at Orchard Hill Equestrian Center 3 years ago and find ourselves blessed to have found such a beautiful and professional establishment. My daughter has become a very confident rider thanks to numerous trainers at Orchard Hill. She absolutely loves their summer camp program and for the past 2 years has attended all 8 weeks of camp. A year ago we started looking for a horse to purchase and the Teich family was so supportive and helpful throughout the whole process. We are now proud owners of a Connemara named Liam. The care he receives is top knotch. He is turned out daily in a large grass paddock with several of his friends and has a beautiful well kept stall to rest in at night. All of the staff, boarders and students have become our second family and we consider ourselves very lucky to be a part of Orchard Hill Equestrian Center.
dawson greenland: Orchard Hill is an incredible facility! I have boarded my horse there for a year and a half and everyday I feel blessed to have found their website while searching for a place to move. There is truly something for everyone here. Young and old alike. Most barns are oriented toward one discipline or another but you can pursue any interest here and be respected for just loving horses. There are wonderful trainers to suit all levels or you can bring your own. The selection of school horses is the best I've seen anywhere. The care is the most professional I know of. There is always someone to ride with but never too many people crowding you. There are 3 different rings to ride in and fabulous trails all around. Turn out is however you like....group pasture or individual paddocks. Orchard Hill just has a great vibe going on at all times. Wonderful people - men, women and children! I would highly recommend this barn to everyone!!!

Outdoor Sports: Boston Equestrian Center is the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with horses on weekends, away from the city. They have indoor arena and hours are flexible, and their horses seems happy there. If you are serious about the sports, I would recommend to check out this place, the owner is a very skilled instructor.

Katie Parker: I used to ride when I was little and wanted to get back into it. I found this farm close to me and I'm so happy that I did! Not only are the people there super friendly, but I have learned SO MUCH about riding and taking care of horses. I feel like the barn I used to ride barely taught me anything compared to how much I've learned here, and I only started up again five months ago! Marion is a fantastic instructor and I'm so happy to met all of these people and horses. Definitely will continue going here and would suggest others to if they want to learn from the best!
David Magnano: Owner is very generous and supportive, don't listen to the bad reviews (all posted at the same time...). One person decided to take offense because the owner is blunt and to the point and they couldn't handle it so they asked their friends to spam bad reviews. My fiance has been going here for several months and he has taken her under his wing because he is a good person, and the whole staff is welcoming and encouraging. Don't let one person's self image issues turn you away from a wonderful learning experience.

Christina Perry: Now under Gemstone Show Stables and ran by Carolyn Jette. This place is horrible. When I went there, there were 3 horses to a small muddy paddock with a broken plastic fence. The fence was never cleaned up from the day before as one boarder told me how long the fence was broken. Imagine sharp plastic pieces in the mud for horses to step on and get hurt. And, there was one small water tub with no water in it. Then, I checked the stall. The stall had a dusting of bedding about a half inch if that, you could see the stall mats underneath. I confronted Carolyn Jette about all of this and she was more concerned with her 150K horse than actually fixing the problem. Horse have come back emaciated from her "training". Please never have your horse go there. No real training, just a scammer trying to take your money and not actually doing any work that she agrees to.

Premier Sealcoating & Line Striping Inc.: Great family, deep roots in the town over the years Four Winds has grown from a little family farm to what it is today. They have great knowledge when it comes to all things equestrian. There is lots of land, full buggy sprint track , jump course, open grazing, indoor riding arenas not to mention they have quite a few stalls, if you can can in. The property is kept up and spews class. It was even featured in a movie.The head trainer/ teacher is accomplished, accredited , coached college jumping, ribbon winner of dozens of special events from show to jumping.If you are in Oxford area and need to board, train or learn to ride a horse and you dont go see them then who are you going to see? Anything less then the best is pointless I.M.O
