Betta: If I could give Cathie (10) stars, I would. I've had many horse trainers, Cathie by far is the best!! I had Cathie come out to my home because both of my horses refused to get on a trailer. Cathie made me realize it wasn't my horses with issues w/trailering but me. She was very patient w/me and did not leave until she felt confident I could get my horses on the trailer myself. Watching Cathie work with my horses was amazing. I wish Cathie lived closer to me because I would trailer to her more often for training and lessons. I have recommended Cathie to several of my horse friends. You will not be disappointed.
Laurie Paradis: I cant say enough about Cathie Hatrick-Anderson! First of all I had totally lost my confidence with horses after a horse related injury and was about to give up when I found Cathie. We started with hours of ground work with her two horses to help me regain my confidence. Cathie is very calm and explains everything with patience. When I was ready I moved onto riding and slowly I am back to dealing with and riding my own horses with confidence and actually finding joy in riding again. This IS ALL because of Cathie and her great training. Cathie helped me find and choose my Quarter horse Lacey. Before I decided to buy her Cathie and I went to where she was boarded. She did ground work with her first (which was amazing to watch) and then she rode her, then finally I did. I've had Lacey for two years now and shes one of the best horses I've ever owned. Cathie helped me find my perfect match! If you're looking for a new horse take Cathie with you, she'll help find you a great match also! Can't thank you enough Cath!!!

Christina Perry: Now under Gemstone Show Stables and ran by Carolyn Jette. This place is horrible. When I went there, there were 3 horses to a small muddy paddock with a broken plastic fence. The fence was never cleaned up from the day before as one boarder told me how long the fence was broken. Imagine sharp plastic pieces in the mud for horses to step on and get hurt. And, there was one small water tub with no water in it. Then, I checked the stall. The stall had a dusting of bedding about a half inch if that, you could see the stall mats underneath. I confronted Carolyn Jette about all of this and she was more concerned with her 150K horse than actually fixing the problem. Horse have come back emaciated from her "training". Please never have your horse go there. No real training, just a scammer trying to take your money and not actually doing any work that she agrees to.

Premier Sealcoating & Line Striping Inc.: Great family, deep roots in the town over the years Four Winds has grown from a little family farm to what it is today. They have great knowledge when it comes to all things equestrian. There is lots of land, full buggy sprint track , jump course, open grazing, indoor riding arenas not to mention they have quite a few stalls, if you can can in. The property is kept up and spews class. It was even featured in a movie.The head trainer/ teacher is accomplished, accredited , coached college jumping, ribbon winner of dozens of special events from show to jumping.If you are in Oxford area and need to board, train or learn to ride a horse and you dont go see them then who are you going to see? Anything less then the best is pointless I.M.O

Michelle Montanez: Bobcat Farms is an excellent place to board a horse!! The grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the care that Cathie and Bob take of the horses is exceptional. Since our horse arrived there, he has become so much more confident, relaxed, and sociable with other horses. (He was a rescue with some fearful issues in his past, but Cathie’s expertise on horse psychology and behavior helps us to help him become so calm!) The great thing about Bobcat Farms is that they are constantly aware of each horse’s physical and emotional health, and they treat each horse as they treat their own. Bob and Cathie are the first to tell us how our horse has been eating, interacting with other horses, and and behaving. It’s great to be able to come by anytime and ride him, groom him, or work with him. It’s also the kind of environment we prefer for all animals- which they are allowed to behave in the way that they are naturally comfortable, like training without shoes or bits in the mouth. A great value for the personal care that you get, I would recommend Bobcat Farms to anyone with a love of animals.
