junny delgado: AVOID NICOLE JIMENEZ helping you. I was trying to go in to finalize my auto loan with a half hour left to close and you can tell she was not happy at all to help me out. She seemed miserable just calling out my name, I stepped into the room and closed the door and got a death glare , I was all excited ready to finally get my new car. She's starts speaking to my husband like "this is your loan right" and I said "no it's mine"She rolled her eyes and continued to speak to my husband instead, he went on his phone and told her "speak to her , this is her loan." She finally started speaking to me asking for my member number and as she's finalizing the paperwork she makes a comment "it smells like someone hasn't showered" while rolling her eyes. Me and my husband looked at eachother like "wow". Anyway I'm just ready to finalize this loan to just get away from this miserable women. After 2 min of silence and her typing she finally speaks and says a sarcastic "sorry" (with a smirk.) "Your loan can't be approved cause we do not work with that dealer"I called the dealer and he was confused cause he always works with DCU. She kicked us out and told us bye anyway and then I CALLED DCU and I had to receive the help from someone OVER THE PHONE instead (YES They work with the dealer I guess the women just really didn't want to help me). Not sure what her problem was towards me and my husband from the moment we stepped in but I hated every second of it. Never have I felt so small and disrespected.
A C: I went into this bank on 3/2/2023 on shrewsbury st in worcester Ma to speak with someone about a huge investment (mind you I’ve banked with them for over 10 yrs) As I was waiting in the lobby I over heard an elderly gentleman in the private room with a teller (who seemed to not be having the greatest day or was fed up) and the teller was speaking about his bank info and how much he had in his account with the door wide open for all to hear. I thought that was quite odd. But as soon as I was called, I proceeded to the room I was called too and tried to shut the door and was told not too. I politely said ill come back at another time when I'm allowed my privacy to my money and my concerns. Hoping for just a bad day in the office. because I do not feel confident leaving my money somewhere that doesn't offer privacy for your concerns.

Made me feel comfortable in knowing that I am on the right track and eventually acquired me more options than I was even looking for. She honestly deserves a raise, promotion or both. Elsie Annan: Poor teller customer service and attitude. Failed to acknowledge customer, rude facial expression and seemed preoccupied in their phone or something. Decorum and work ethic has taken a nose dive massively at some of these reputable banking establishments.
David Webb: They’re amazing.After realizing that most credit unions overdraft fees are the same as banks at $30 or $35 and DCU is $5, I gave them a chance. That was about three years ago, I’ve now moved all my accounts here.They’ve been fantastic, and every teller seems to be efficient and has clearly been given the tools to do their jobs quickly. Things like getting a bank check which used to be $8 and sometimes up to 15 minutes at Rockland Trust are now 45 second transactions. I’m consistently impressed with DCU and wish I had switched to them five years earlier.

John “ThatOneDad” M: First I would like to say good on them for not opening there lobby. To me it shows that the health and safety of the public and there employees is important. Does it take a while when its busy sure..did it before yep(I'm also not impatient). I Have always had a good experience at any DCU and have been a member since Digital was still a company and my family and I will always be members (3 generations are members with DCU). Also I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at DCU.
Elisha Marie: I’m so disturbed at the lack of professionalism by “management “ at this bank.I brought necessary documents after being instructed over the phone what I needed to open an account for my minor son who is disabled.When I arrived I was told to bring another document that I was not informed I needed.I live out of Worcester and this is during rush hour mind you.So I drove back home and got the document the associate told me I needed.Once again I was told I need a document from the courthouse stating this is my child!I was frustrated when the associate who was running back and forth from me to the “manager” and asking for me what papers I needed at the courthouse he yelled at her from his offices “HOW DO I KNOW WE DONT DEAL WITH THAT!”so everyone in the lobby could hear him.Everyone looked at me.So after a few choice words I left and called the courthouse to ask for a particular document and even the lady at family services had no idea what this bank “manager” was talking about.This guy was so rude and arrogant that I will be removing my account and my husbands account ASAP.I will file a complaint first.I went to another bank and got my disabled son an account within the HOUR!And was treated with respect.What a horrible excuse for a manger!Dont go here if you want to go with this bank!

Andrew Pontbriand: Only reason I am not giving 1 star is one of my close family members banks here. Applied for a personal loan over the phone with a 741 credit score. Instantly approved in less than 20 minutes. I wait 30 hours for an email - nothing. Finally call customer service they took it down wrong. No big deal, it happens. But this was the start of the disaster. I explicitly asked the loan officer/agent if there is any chance something could fall through as the loan is for the remainder of the balance on my wedding. She said she’s never seen anything happen when a loan is approved this way. Fine. So, as a business owner, I made a few financial moves now that I knew I would not need to use personal funds to fund the wedding.After finally getting the welcome email, I go to open the actual bank account. Checking and savings- I apply with everything tbeh requested from start to finish perfectly with nonissue, until the end.Application was submitted and to my absolute shock - I get a response stating that unfortunately my application to open a BANK ACCOUNT was denied due to “being unable to provide positive identify verification”. Whatever the heck that means!?So I travel almost an hour to the bank after customer service said it could be a glitch. The guy at the bank couldn’t have been more disinterested in providing even a low level of customer service. He seemed bored and annoyed that I’d even dare be upset at the circumstances. He tried to do the account manually and we had the same result. After requesting to speak to someone and being stonewalled, and my spirit broken, I left.My credit is almost excellent. My income is great. My ID is new and accurate. I have a perfect history with ChexSystems. I am a human being with flesh and blood that they could easily physically identify in person but that was not good enough.Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like this. Because of this I was denied my loan and now I have a mortgage inquiry on my credit report and nobody at this institution cares. In fact, they passed the buck and blamed it on a third party - if I do that in my business I lose money and lose customers.I am at a loss. Luckily, their biggest competitor was happy to assist me and offered me an even better rate, so I am officially done with DCU.Hope this helps others that may try to get a loan without an account. You don’t want to go through this and don’t want the mortgage inquiry after approval for the loan, arbitrary denial of an account, and thus, subsequent denial of the loan! And you don’t want a bank that isn’t inclusive to all within the community.Thanks

John Doe: Lines are always long. If you are trying to deposit cash its always 15 to 20 minutes in line. They always seem to be understaffedDont get me started on customer service I recently had a problem with my wallet being stolen from my car. I tried to call the branch directly and speak with someone. No human to talk to and just a recording about this or that. Well that person who stole my wallet was using it to buy all kinds of stuff.i truly believe it all could have been avoided if someone just answered their phones...now my account is all messed up.
Taxachusettsucks: Low rates. But god help you if you need any help from an actual person. I've actually taken out my future car loans with another credit union at 1% higher rate, just to avoid the un needed frustration dealing with any human at dcu. You can't just simply call them and talk to someone without leaving a call back #. wich could be up to 6hrs. Later or more. And don't think your going to be talking to anybody with any knowledge of what their doing. It took my dealer 3 days to get a hold of them to make a pay off on my trade in. Their a huge dealer and said they've never seen anything like this with any bank.
Archit Kumar: Recently opened an account here because I found their auto loans to have a really low interest rate. However, my experience with customer service has been bad.I visited the branch, having made an appointment beforehand. I was asked to wait in the lobby. Waited for about 15-20 mins and saw people who arrived after me being tended to before me. I checked with the counter and was told that my name was called and that I may not have heard. It wasn't even a crowded place and was pretty quiet. If it was called out loud enough I would have heard.Long story short, no one apologized to me for the inconvenience. I feel this is not professional. At the very least they should have a display or something to let you know when it's your chance or a text message or something. Was not a pleasant experience overall.

In these difficult times I need to know that what my mobile app is telling me is correct. But a woman told me funds would be released sunday night after midnight. Which makes sense. This guy is telling me I have already received it all. No hold on checks. Yes there is over a certain amount. I just felt like he didnt care. Not Dcu. I hope to hear from the bank in Good faith. I love dcu. Best bank. They have really worked with me. This guy didnt care and spoke to me like I am an idiot. That, I hate.
Matilda Project's: I recently had someone take money out of account illegally. I was upset as you can imagine. My card and account was blocked. The first guy I spoke with at this branch told me everything is good don't worry. I had a bill due, he told me don't worry give them your account #, it's fine. I'm in line at the bank after calling in the payment, and my daughter who is ten says, "Mom, how can you put money in your account if it's all blocked. Understand, when you call your bank after something like this happens, you are expecting customer service. Someone who can remain calm and help you figure things out. Someone who is looking to resolve your issue. I don't work for the bank. If I were drowning, I wouldn't expect the lifeguard to knock me out to get me to safety. Well today, I had to call the bank yet again, this time I got someone who not only gave me great customer service, but had a wonderful, professional attitude. Great listening skills, and remained focused on resolving my issue. Aneudy is his name, and he is truly a humane individual. I am half deaf in one ear, so I am not good on the phone. This did not stop Aneudy from helping me. Not only did he find a way to help me , but more importantly, he was supportive at a time when I needed it. Thank you Aneudy. 😁Eddi ( Golstar Blvd branch).
