Tom Wilder: We had a fire that started in our garage and spread soot throughout our home. The home had to be stripped down to the studs and subfloor. Servpro responded immediately and scheduled their team to come out within 2 weeks to begin the demolition work. The team was extremely professional with the demolition, taking great care to not damage the rest of the structure that had to be rebuilt. Javier the crew chief was a pleasure to work with. He always gave me a progress report at the end of each day. He kept track of everyone of the workers to make sure they were only removing what was required and nothing else. Wally the operations manager has been with us every step of the way and he is also coordinating the reconstruction with a local builder which helps ease the burden during this stressful time. Second, a guy named Edward or Ed, who Servpro hired to check my walls for water damage decided to urinate on my brand new patio instead of using the bathroom and it was all caught on both my security cameras. Very disrespectful.I'd think twice before hiring Servpro again.

Kristen Pierce: I had ServPro come in for some mold remediation due to a steam leak from my condo’s heating system. Their estimate was MUCH less than the actual cost, and did not receive a final breakdown of the scope of work (which I requested multiple times). They broke a water line for my refrigerator, broke a marble vanity top I was planning to reuse, and lost my spare key that is $250 to replace. A manager contacted me saying they would send me a check for the lost key, which I still have yet to receive after about a month. In addition, they did not complete the work the first time around, and charged me extra to come back in to complete! Not to mention that their customer service is virtually non-existent. I would not recommend this service whatsoever.Edit: I finally received a reimbursement for my key replacement. Although, after receiving the final breakdowns, realized I was charged twice for certain parts of the job. It seems that this service may aim to take advantage of young people who don't know better. Janet Nelson: The cubbies under the eaves in my family’s 100 year old summer cottage were filled with decades of accumulated old junk with extensive mouse infestations. Kelley Leone of ServPro did an awesome job putting together a comprehensive, timely and affordable estimate for our project. Eddie Smith, the crew leader, and Arcadio Santiago came out right away, and did an amazingly thorough and professional job of hauling out all the junk, HEPA vacuuming all 5 cubbies and applying an anti-microbial agent to the floor. The whole process was a wonderful experience working with an extraordinary team. Totally recommend using their services!

Automaniac: Update: Todd the owner has now lied. We weren't scheduled before the freeze. The freeze is why we had flooding. Chris asked if he could reschedule from Friday to Monday and never showed up. He refused to respond to text messages afterwards. Now our damage is quite worse and it's his fault.They scheduled an appointment for Friday, I took time off, last minute Friday morning they rescheduled to Monday. I took more time off and they stood me up. I texted the guy back and he ghosted me. I waited weeks for the appointment and now that I had to get on another company's schedule I lost more weeks. John Howard: After our burst pipe after a major freeze, Paul Davis of Worcester County did an amzing job. My insurance company tried to get another of the major national mitigation companies to come to my home, but they did not show and would not commit to another date. My insurance company then reached out to Paul Davis who was honest about needing time before they could start, but were willing to set a date and kept in touch when the work start date approached. I worked with Todd, the owner of Paul Davis of Worcester County. He was amazing to work with, explaining the process, committing to starting, and directing the whole process from permitting and pre-tests to final inspection. He showed me all the moisture readings and explained what needed to be done to restore our home while mitigating any mold issues. On the first day of the work, Luis came with a team and was very pleasant. The team worked hard all day.He isolated the damaged rooms to keep dust and debris limited. He and the team carefully removed the damaged sheetrock from walls and ceiling and hauled away damaged carpet and pad. They carefully applied a spray to eliminate the Cat 3 mold that had developed, and wiped everything down. After a through cleanup, they installed dehumidifiers, air filters, fans and a heater to ensure everything was thoroughly dried out. Throughout, Todd was in touch (phone and in person) and ensured the work was quality and that I understood everything.From the first phone call to the final checkout of the work being completed, all interactions with the Paul Davis team were informative, polite and professional. That said once it was determined the Paul Davis of Worcester was going to do all the work (mitigation due to Cat 3 water and rebuild - Todd Newville's team went into action. The removal was fast in fact they spoke to the insurance company on my behalf as they initially covered only half of the floor) Insurance covered all of the floor. Their employees were excellent and all of their contractors were outstanding as well. The owner, mitigation manager and project managers were very responsive with communications whether it was text, email or phone. They worked around our scheduling. Nancy Beauregard: My new year started with a sewer back up in my basement. There was ~ 2 inches of contaminated water throughout my basement. J. Brian Day came on the scene after another company (Roto Router) botched the remediation job. Greg with J. Brain Day showed up, took some readings, looked at the work that had been performed and essentially said it all needed to be remediated again. Their team (Nate, Adel(?) and Sabino(?) did a wonderful job and showed much care and concern for my belongings. They cleaned up after themselves and generally gave me a sense of relief. They will also be performing the restoration work shortly.

Right from the beginning interview with the Project Manager, Mark Andrade, he was very reassuring, comforting, and took charge of the situation. Immediately the next day, he sent out two men who began the water damage clean-up. The two guys were on time, courteous, and hard workers. They began the work immediately. We discovered more damage in my garage and another team came out to take care of that as well as to remove the carpeting in my dining room. Jennifer Kell: What a truly amazing company! The service I have received has been absolutely incredible. When I first discovered the flooding in my basement I called J. Brian day and they were there within an hour setting up machines to get the basement dry. The project manager, Mike McLaughlin, explained the Entire process to me step-by-step and answered all my question and then some. The president/owner of the company came out to my home after business hours and stayed for over two hours to try and determine the cause of the flood. We contracted to have Enterprise Cleaning to clean the carpeting in the Clubs main dining room. The carpeting was 10 years old and I was considering replacing it. Enterprise did a superb job. Clean does not accurately describe their work, restore would be a more appropriate description. Susan Smith: Our finished basement was flooded due to a water main backup. MA Restoration came immediately to assess and control the damage. They quickly removed all water damaged surfaces and set up fans and partitions to start the drying process. Steve did tell us honestly it would be a few months until they could begin the remodel. MA Restoration was here for the past three weeks (ahead of schedule!) doing the remodel work and the basement looks amazing. New floors, paint and replaced damaged walls. The crew that was here was extremely professional. When it came time to replace the contents from the garage back to the basement they were very patient as I decided what to keep and what to toss, and placed items such as sofas, ping pong table, exercise bike, bookcases and other small items where I requested. Renee Pianka: MA Restorations WOW!They have been incredibly responsive. We had a fridge line leak while away which did extensive water damage to kitchen and finished basement. They arrived within an hour of our 6AM Sunday call and set up drying equipment and managed it daily to save our unique rosewood and tile kitchen floor. The called each morning before arriving to test and monitor their equipment, manage demolition and drying professionally with care to protect the rest of the house as well as did mold mitigation. In addition to all of that, they worked directly with the insurance company which was a huge help. I cant say enough about a company I knew nothing about until 3 weeks ago.

Water everywhere, ceilings, walls and floors damaged - a nightmare.Steve and his crew came in and were convinced that they could dry all the affected rooms without demolition.
