I was informed when the manager came that my cost would be 7900....he sent me a proposal for 7950 and then the next week said that it was 8900 and check the proposal....which I did and told him. They performed bogus methods.....even at one point the man who came was wiping down a kitchen window saying that he had to clean areas that had no traffic on them.....I asked if he was going to do anything on the floor he said no......he told me I could come into the house at 5 that day. i came in the next day because I had to be very careful.....i sat in the living room for fifteen minutes that day.......and left.....and once again had severe symptoms of mold toxicity that night....I couldn't sleep. A representative came the next day to investigate the presence of mold, performing both visual inspection and air sample testing. He sent lab results from the testing within two days and we discussed a scope of services. There was no sales pressure of any sort and no alarmist rhetoric, only careful presentation of options, after which we agreed on the course of remediation. A week later, the team arrived to do the work. They were professional, polite, and respectful of us and our property. Before beginning work, we walked through the house and they showed me a close-up look at the problem areas and explained what they would do. I got an education in how mold grows and what to do to prevent it from recurring. By the end of the day, the job was complete. Tom Wilder: We had a fire that started in our garage and spread soot throughout our home. The home had to be stripped down to the studs and subfloor. Servpro responded immediately and scheduled their team to come out within 2 weeks to begin the demolition work. The team was extremely professional with the demolition, taking great care to not damage the rest of the structure that had to be rebuilt. Javier the crew chief was a pleasure to work with. He always gave me a progress report at the end of each day. He kept track of everyone of the workers to make sure they were only removing what was required and nothing else. Kristen Pierce: I had ServPro come in for some mold remediation due to a steam leak from my condo’s heating system. Their estimate was MUCH less than the actual cost, and did not receive a final breakdown of the scope of work (which I requested multiple times). They broke a water line for my refrigerator, broke a marble vanity top I was planning to reuse, and lost my spare key that is $250 to replace. A manager contacted me saying they would send me a check for the lost key, which I still have yet to receive after about a month. In addition, they did not complete the work the first time around, and charged me extra to come back in to complete! Not to mention that their customer service is virtually non-existent. I would not recommend this service whatsoever.Edit: I finally received a reimbursement for my key replacement. Although, after receiving the final breakdowns, realized I was charged twice for certain parts of the job. It seems that this service may aim to take advantage of young people who don't know better.
