PRINCETON PLACE APARTMENTS: what do users think?
Sylver M: Lots of birds living inside the walls
Caitlin Sakkinen: Living at Princeton Place Apartments has been wonderful. We love how attentive they are to the buildings inside and out and the cleanliness of the entire complex as a whole. The clubhouse just got renovated and the fitness room is currently being repainted. They plan fun events for the residents to join and it really shows they care about you.
Karuna Sandra: I moved from India to the US about 6 months ago and I must say the first friends I made were at Princeton . Every time I walk to the lease office , it warms my heart to hear Shanayas hello! From getting my online lease ready even while I was in India , to helping me with nitty bitty things , the front office and the staff have been extraordinarily amazing . 100% awesome .I must also mention the professionalism and. Punctuality of the maintenance team is also 100%.I also like the season parties the appartment holds , to the ample parking space , the proximity to everything . It’s been a wonderful experience for me so far .
Ashwin Alexander: Great place to start your stay in Worcester..This is my sixth month in Princeton place Apartments, so far so good. I will list out couple of important things which I feel is worth saying about..Location :- it’s a good place to stay if you’re working in UMass memorial , 12 mins walk. 3-4 min drive to union station..Moving from abroad :- So if you are coming from abroad and wanting to start living in an apartment without the drama of physical tour, this place is recommended. It makes life so much more easier. most apartments around Worcester require you to come and take physical tour. We were able to see the apartment size and dimensions and sign up for the lease online. Which made life much more easier. Shaniya and Meghan made it easier. Thank you. ❣️Maintenance :- A big shout out to the maintenance guys they are fast and responsive and get the job done. 👏. We had few issue moving, everything got resolved immediately..We lease two bedroom apartment with one bathroom. Which is decent enough in space. All the appliances are in complete working condition. They make sure that you can report any complaint within the first 15 days if anything is wrong and document it..Outside amenities:- They have a two slot tennis/ pickle ball court , A small gym and a small swimming pool. Also there is a small outdoor kids playing area..In the summer and the spring the landscaping is done quite frequently I think almost every week. So it looks very good. in the winter the snow gets removed , promptly and the walkways are salted..Parking there is ample amount of parking..Social activities:- The management staff have some Occasions every 2 to 3 months for get together activities and residents meeting each other gatherings etc. which is deserving a applause..Few cons- The carpet in the apartment is cream colored, it gets dirty fast. Worcester is a rainy and snowy city. And if you have a small child it gets very difficult to keep it clean. There is no light fixtures in the living room and in the bedrooms. I find that very strange. So after you move in you are pretty much in the dark until you buy some lamp. 😄.I will be definitely adding my latter experience when my lease expires, but overall it’s a great place to start.
Chris Daley: My wife and I are currently Princeton Place residents—been so for several years now—and as far as apartment-living goes in Worcester, this one has been the best yet. Not perfect, but I think "perfect" would be a tall order anyway. Some pros and cons, to name a few:Pros:- Management and maintenance are responsive and courteous (I was a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews stating otherwise)- Location can't be beat, if you enjoy a reasonably quiet spot right on the edge of downtown- Our unit feels modern and was in good shape upon moving in- Very nice amenities (central mailroom, gym, pool, playground)- Occasional holiday/social events and contests put on by the management team- Some buildings allow pets (for a fee)- Quick snow removal from parking lots and walkways- Tons of free parking, so it's easy to have guestsCons:- I said "reasonably" quiet, but we'll sometimes get car alarms, the train coming out of Union Station, weekly landscaping in warmer seasons, or other noises, which can make working from home more challenging- Maintenance often arrives without giving us a heads up, so sometimes we're scrambling a bit if we're working from home (or still in bed), despite concerns raised several times- The dog park is underwhelming- Not enough dumpsters, so trash and recycling are often overflowing, which is a big eyesore on that side of the complex- No elevators (but there are ramps for first-floor accessibility only), so it is difficult to have guests/family with limited mobility- The entry door to the building requires two hands to open, which can be challenging (for various reasons, like accessibility)- Pricey, but what apartment isn't these days?Again, not perfect. The pros are pretty sweet, and most of the cons are tolerable. Overall, we'd recommend it!
Shalini Aricthota: Living at Princeton Place has been great so far. The apartment complex is very neat and clean. The maintenance team does a great job when it comes to any repair in the apartment. The leasing office staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a fitness centre inside the complex which is decently equipped. Overall, I enjoy my stay here at Princeton and would love to continue my lease.
S . S: Princeton! Fell in love with this place when I came across it. Coming from the big NY to this was like a dream come true! Somewhere positive where I could raise my daughter. Until I shortly realized this place was a whole lie! Princeton Place Apartment in Worcester, MA; Instantly failed me! I moved in the middle of the pandemic, there were no in person apartment tours available due this situation. My husband and I selected the most expensive layout available at that moment. Per the virtual tour and pictures online that layout would include two bedrooms with the master bedroom having a half bathroom inside. The day we moved in we were surprise to find an apartment with two side by side bathrooms. *no bathroom in the bedroom*. I was never able to enjoy a hot shower longer than 5 min, it would turn completely cold! I would literally have to shower my daughter first and then shower myself in case the hot water would leave. It was literally like the hot water was timed. Less than a month living there before we received an email about our TELEVISION being too loud. How everything must be shut off by 8pm on weekdays. Later we find out the complex is not safe, there are no cameras in the entire vicinity. You and your belongings are not protected! My vehicle was crashed, in the parking lot. Causing us over $1000 in damage, and management showed absolutely NO sympathy. Kristen simply said these things happen all the time there. That there was nothing they could do since there are no cameras in the complex, and I should just call and report it to my insurance as a hit and run. The neighbors *always changing* mainly college kids renting for a semester or two. In multiple occasions fights broke down in the hallways, door decor and mats were stolen. My building was under construction with no carpets *nails sticking out* and looking very much abandoned for over 3 months. When I moved out they kept my deposit and sent an invoice for having to change the cream colored rug that they should change regardless for every apartment. As I am sure they should know families with children could have accidents and the rug will need to be replaced for the next tenant! Every single month they have a new reason as to why they need to enter your apartment. *To change an alarm, some sort of inspection, their insurance, etc.* They send an email two days before but you have no say whether they could enter or not. They will come in if your home or not. The workers come in and do not remove their shoes they step all over your cream carpet they expect you to keep fresh for almost 3 years! Honestly this place was such a disappointment! Don’t do like we did and ignored reviews because it looked so beautiful! Put your hard working money somewhere else where it will be appreciated!-Shanthaly
Mousa Moradikalhor: Princeton place was not what I expected. As you sign the contract, you think you are their slave. The only thing they care about is money. Although I gave them one month notice for moving out, they picked my deposit for the day I dropped the keys!
Mike Murray: I have been in many complexes before. This one was the worst by far. Week management team, very noisy neighbors with many kids. Not a good option if you need to relax after a busy day for sure.
Juscelio Rocha: I been have great time at Princeton place my family loved.
Sitaram Amirapu: Very nice apartment facility but lacks an elevator.
Tyler Benjamin: Residing at Princeton place has been great so far! The apartments themselves are very clean and spacious. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big selling point for me. The staff are very responsive and always super helpful. Recently had an issue with my dishwasher and w/ in a few days they were at my apartment replacing it. Maintenance and groundkeepers do an exceptional job from landscaping during the summer to plowing during winter months. The grounds are very nice with great landscaping, ample parking, and amenities such as a pool, tennis court, and gym. Its location is perfect as it is close to Umass if you work there and a short drive to the downtown area of Worcester.
Mary Ann Burnett: Very nice maintenance of landscaping and grounds. Nice amenities like pool and fitness center. Helpful staff
Jamin Wang: Positive:Quality
Mien Nguyen: Never ever rent this place!!!!1. Noise is everywhere, especially at night someonw will jump above your head.2. Cockroaches are the problem!!! They come from nowhere and will stay with you despite multiple calls with the maintenance guys3. Terrible management team: horrible people with fake smiles!! They will make you pay for whole renewal of pain, carpet when you move out and 4 months lease! Never listen as well4. Your packages will eventually get lost so many times till you realize that you cannot live in this horrible place5. TERRIBLE Smell.6. Mold in the bathroom
david buczynski: Positive:QualityI moved here site unseen from out of state and I Love this place, the apartment was much more than I expected, clean and so much room. My Dog Cody also is enjoying the cool little dog park. It was a pleasant surprise. I can call Princeton Place home
Devin Marcella: When I first moved in here, I had no issues at all with the staff, or the property. However, towards the end of my 2nd year here everything came unraveled. My old roommate moved back to North Carolina in June of 2020 and I had someone else move in to take his place. We weren't charged at all until August 6th, then all of a sudden there's a 2000 dollar charge on our portal, which of course they expected us to pay all at once in the middle of a pandemic. When I informed the property manager Kristen about the poor attitude of a few of her employees, she told me "sometimes we get caught up in the business of collecting rent". If somebody is paying 100s of dollars over the national average for a very medicore living space, the least you can do is have some compassion for someone's situation, especially if they created that situation. It isn't the worst place in the world, but look out if you need assistance with anything that doesn't go along with the staff's daily routine.
Tim Goodwin: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessLove the location. Love the people. This has always been my favorite place to live in Worcester!
khashayar afshari: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI got an apartment in the cleanest and best way I could Imagine. Very well designed and spacious and convenient location for those working at UMass. So far I can say that it was a very good deal and the place has super responsive and friendly staff.
John Judson: Apt. nice / mgmnt very good. Beautifully landscaped. Neighbors friendly. Maintanence responsive and proactive. Very happy at this property. Thank-you.
Alfred Talevi: The staff constantly was losing or misplacing my deliveries. They also advertised that they were pet friendly and even have a dog walk. However, even though I paid 100% of my rent every month until I moved out it wasn't allowed in my building and though I asked every year to be moved to a first-floor dog building I was lied to every time.Don't say that the place accepts dogs when it doesn't. How about telling the truth when people ask to be moved within the complex to exchange a 3rd floor for 1st floor. I had paid 1 years rent and then 2 years rent when I made the request.I moved because I knew my rent was going to continue to go up and the apartment wasn't going to get any better.Definitely are MUCH better places to live in Worcester for the price charged.

Kevin Kouassi: All my friends were skeptical of us moving there, due to the area the Royal Worcester Apartments is located in. But let me tell you, as soon as you enter their gate, you feel as if you were in a different place! Not only for the building and its amenities, but also for the people working there: Jon, Tony, Brian to mention some–from management to maintenance officers; they were all a pleasure to be around. We stayed in the Royal Worcester Apartments for five years, and we wouldn't have chosen a different place to live in. For its community, amenities, proximity to our university, work, and groceries centers. It was a pleasure to be of your tenants for half a decade!
huzaifa: I am looking for one bed apartment from 1st June( i could be flexible) any availability?
Aracely Pineda: Que viene incluido?

Did I mention how kind and accommodating the staff is? They are! So far, Lovely, just Lovely and keeps getting better!! I'm happy at home at last...
Anderson Salvatto: Pool, gym and you just pay electricity plus rent.
Aaliyah Snow: amazing

ReNew Worcester Apartment Homes: what do users think?
Peter Beaudoin: Ok so far but need more consistency with getting informed on what's going on.Did great cMe when they said and got it done.
Ruth Berman: Rick, the new handyman is terrific. He came immediately to fix the few items that needed to be fixed. There was no long wait & all was done quickly & efficiently. Still waiting for the garage door to be operational as well as garage lighting.
Joan Scano: If anyone is looking for an apartment, go elsewhere. The building used to be a luxurious apartment complex. It now looks shabby and in need of routine maintenance and care. It is owned by a California conglomerate, and they are only interested in turning a profit. This building very rarely had a vacancy. Renters are moving out in droves. The surveillance security system was discontinued when they purchased the property to save money. The garage door has been non-operational for over 18 months. There is nobody that you can call directly if there is a problem. Residents are left to their own demise the majority of the time. Especially on weekends and holidays. Look elsewhere.
Patricia Couture: Maintenance replaced my thermostat and it is so much easier to regulate my heat
Edmund McGovern: After my shower was covered in black dirt due to a building drain backup I was told it was my responsibility to clean it. I am disabled and could not clean it myself. After a rather nasty discussion with the temporary building manager it was agreed he would send someone to clean the mess their drain backup had created. Not the way paying tenants should be treated.
Barbara Baba: Rick the maintenance man fixed the shelf problem. Still haven't heard about the counter problem.
Brenda Landgren Miller: Garage door has been broken and unsecured for three months.Paint is peeling off all laundry and trash room doors.Rarely is someone in the office who can help with anything. It’s usually vacant.Seems like nobody cares about the residents.
Roberta Hirshberg: I am very happy with the on site management but find the "ownership management" unsatisfactory. I had a problem and they never responded which I find very disturbing.
Dennis Shea Jr.: HiSeems we have no full time custodian. They keep getting fired, the building needs some cleaning. Something is wrong some where?
Carol Pruitt: The management team does not respond to emergency situations. Today the Worcester fire department came to reset the elevators that had shut down due to a power outage. The keys to reset elevator & to enter the maintenance room were not in the fireman’s access box. There are people in this building that are not able to use stairs and can only access other floors with the elevator. The residents try to remain hopeful that the dismissive corporate attitude will change. We have made our homes here, some residents have for years, but this emergency situation seems to have been disregarded by management.
Ken Brown: Clearly a case of a profit hungry property corporation unwilling to invest in their building and systems.Example 1 - In spite of constant requests from residents, no option for recycling. Too complicated(!) Everything goes into the dumpster.Example 2 - Hopelessly mismanaged switchover to new computer system deleted ALL residents' "auto payment" data.Local staff is wonderful but their corporate overlords are greedy zeros.
Jean Breidenbach: Doing pretty well. Could use an extra person for maintenance.
Harriett Katz: Solange makes it warm and inviting to come into the office to discuss concerns. She returns calls quickly and she takes time to explain things. She's always willing to help!
Marcy Meehan: My experience has been very positive. I am very happy with Solange as the property manager. She is very helpful to all the people that live here, specially because they are not used to the new changes and new management. Solange has adjusted well under these circumstances.
Raju Alagawadi: Great location! really nice, well taken care surrounding with lot of greenery, shrubs and flowers. I like the gazebo and the fountain area for a hangout! Management really listen and care for the residents, like the convenience of close by city life.

Voke Lofts: what do users think?
Jennifer Young: Very nice place to live and strong management. The apartments are as nice as they look in the pictures— my friends and family come to visit and they are amazed by the beauty of the place, especially the industrial look of the brick walls and high ceilings. Everyone here is nice and minds their own business. It’s very pricey to live here but not unusual for a good apartment in the area and with the inflation occurring nation-wide. The only issue is that there is no guest parking so visitors will have to fend for themselves and walk over from wherever they can find. Maintenance responds quickly, people who are breaking the rules are addressed immediately. The only thing that would make this place better is guest parking and a pool, lol in my opinion. We’re happy here for now.
Bruce: Excellent
Michael McClendon: It's a very very nice place to live and under good management....
Janie: Lived here for 2 years and loved it. The staff are very nice so the place feels very homey. There were lots of community events pre-COVID which we really enjoyed. And when we had to move out, Janny at the office was incredibly helpful and friendly.
Gilo m: The apartments are beautiful. The only downside is the units don't have individual washer/drier and one has to share with other residents. For the rent rate, that should have been a priority in my opinion.
Jill L: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Andrea Paredes C: Quiero vivir aquí 😅
Jack BERGIN: It has been a month since my door needed to be replaced and it has yet to be fixed. If any appliance or item in the room breaks it takes several weeks for a fix. They also disregard knock policy when arriving at the apartment. There are several more dissatisfied residents who have moved out this year due to horrible management. Voke lofts is overpriced as is and has the worst management I have ever seen. Also if you want your room to be 90 degrees in the spring, fall, and early months of summer definitely come to Voke because their heating system is broken in all rooms. Would not recommend anyone come here.
Julio Jreaswec: 5 stars across the board. I lived at Voke for over 3 years and my experience was a great one. Maintenance was fast with repairs, neighbors were friendly, the property itself is safe and well taken care of. The property manager is amazing and cares about tenants. If you're looking for a quality loft-type of apartment then definitely consider Voke!
Omar Wahab: We’ve called Voke Lofts home for 4 years, and we love it! We will sadly be leaving soon because we are moving out of state, but we recommend it to anyone who wants to live in central Worcester.Location can’t be beat- short walks to parks, restaurants, museums and historic concert halls.Spacious apartments with lots of historic character. Definitely more bang for buck compared to other new construction in the area. And the management office is super responsive and nice. Any request or concern is quickly addressed. All in all a wonderful place to call home!
GiGi Valentino: Was interested in a 2 bedroom apartment and was able to get a grand tour with Carmelo. He was very professional, personable, and kind. Although the 2 bedroom apartments were all occupied Carmelo did not simply reject my tour, he was courteous enough to show me a few 1 bedroom apartments to see the finishes and a few different floor plans. Definitely a great experience, try to work with Carmelo if anyone wants a detailed yet fun tour. I will most definitely lease a 2 bedroom once they are available!
Shan Fitzpatrick: I have been 9n the waiting list since tgey opened.I was on the 30 percent list.I recieved a call saying they have good nees that i got the apartment jow ever when i taked to jeanny she said i am not going to gwt the apartment due to my income she didn't even have me come in too show my income.I am on chemo medicine so i was jot feeling well when i spoke too her.I then was tild i would be on another list.I then recieved a letter stating i am off the waiting list. When i spoke with jen and kasia they both assured me i would stay on the list.I am a disabled woman and feel this is wrong and we are on a panadenic i cried so bad i waited for this since the doors open.
Justin Feldstein: Lived at Voke for 4 years and overall had a great experience. The apartments are nice, clean, and the building is well-maintained. It's a great location with sufficent amenties, although the buildings conversion sadly didn't permit washer/dryer in-unit and indivudal HVAC units. The HVAC is centrally distributed which leads to problems during shoulder season (hot nights mostly), but remedied once the A/C is flipped on centrally by an outside contractor.
Alejo De Carolis: I lived at Voke for 2 years in 2 different units and loved it, it was a great experience. Voke is definitely the best housing option there is in Worcester. The staff, both the previous and the newer team, have always been very friendly and super helpful. The maintenance staff keeps the place looking flawless and are super responsiveness if you need something fixed. I would recommend Voke because of its beautiful units, great location (specially for students), serious and responsive staff, and great living environment.
Susana Diaz: I lived here four months and I’ve already dealt with a bug infestation in the kitchen that spread everywhere else then a mouse infestation. I’ve found dead mice in the unit in the span of three weeks. Unless you don’t care to live in those conditions, don’t even bother moving here. IT IS NOT ALL THAT ITS MEANT TO SEEM. worst place I’ve ever lived.
cindy rodriguez: I have lived here for approximately 3 years at two different units. Overall my experience has been positive and I recommend it. Staff is very friendly and living experience is adequate. The only downside was there’s no visitor parking overall. My kids loved it there I wish I didn’t have to leave but due to a personal situation. I needed to make adjustments, but I would definitely move back!
Paulo: I have lived at the Voke for approximately 4 years at two different units. I have also visited several other units in the building. Overall my experience has been positive and I recommend it. Staff is very friendly and living experience is adequate. However, there are some downsides that prospective residents should be aware:1. Parking is highly regulated. Each car costs an additional monthly fee on top of rent and there is no parking for visitors.2. The shower water pressure is woefully inadequate. There are several low flow (gallon per second) showers in the market that feel better than the one that was chosen. However, likely at a higher cost for the builder.3. Even though the Voke is supposed to be a smoke free residence, several inhabitants still smoke within premises. This can be observed by the cigarette buds in the stairwells and the smell that sometimes permeates into the nonsmoker's rooms.4. The ventilation system is inadequate. The cubic feet per minute (flow rate) of the bathroom exhaust is way too low. It is not sufficient to keep the bathroom from becoming a sauna after a shower. This is unfortunate, since it actually costs them money to repair the moisture damaged areas with every new resident. Such is the case with the ceiling painting which peels off over time due to the moisture.5. The exhaust over the stove is not an actual exhaust. It just recirculates into the room. So cooking anything impregnates the room with the smell of the food for hours and may require opening the window of the unit which is an undesirable action in the winter.6. They use a single circuit heat/cool HVAC system. This means that in the transitions periods between seasons they have to choose between heating or cooling. Leaving residents either too hot or too cold.7. Sound proofing between rooms could be improved.
Carmen Colon: I'll be leaving Voke lofts my 4 yrs living here were good. Doors were always opened if I needed something to be taken care of in my apt. I will miss everyone Jennifer, Angel Kasia and Hector, always professional and kind. Thank you👍😊
Douglas Hoffmann: Beautiful everything
Jonathan Griffin: I would strongly consider not living here. The rules about parking are atrocious. There is no guest parking and no readily available street parking. Voke hires a watch dog towing company that tows your car even if it's there for 5 minutes, and won't give it back without paying for a tow fee even if you're standing there ready to move it out of the parking lot (experience 2). There are no guest parking spots and the rules state no guest parking on weekends or after 5pm on weekdays. If you're ever going to have guests, they will have to park about .5 miles away and walk. As a result, living here and expecting to have friends over is unrealistic. Additionally, there is no way to contact management on the weekend, so if your guest's car gets towed, you have to cold call all the towing companies in Worcester to find out where it is (experience 1). Otherwise it's nice, but this parking policy has a significant impact on general "living ability" for this apartment and as a social person I can't recommend living here.
Praful Patel: I had visited my friend son who was a student here staying in a loft apartment was good with a gym , laundry etc... was good...Many students stay here...

Audubon Plantation Ridge: what do users think?
Patrick McCarter: Moved in about two weeks ago and I have had an excellent time with Audubon Plantation Ridge. Hands down I give nothing but the best compliments to the staff and even other people living here. Buildings are key fobbed for safety which I love. I have had the pleasure of working with Robert and he has been the best help to me and my roommate. The process for receiving packages is smooth too with their locker system, I am never afraid of getting packages stolen. I have told friends to reach out and see if there are openings as they are currently looking.
Meng Zhang: Good service but rude manager.
Unsan Cuộc Sống Hàn Quốc: Mọi thứ đều tốt, có một điều tiền Điện đắt quá
M C: Lived here since 2019 and it’s worth the price. Pet friendly but quiet. Nice grounds that are landscaped and buildings that are clean. Hiking trails that run through the property. But what compels me to leave this review today is the staff. They’ve gone out of their way on several occasions to help out when a postal worker delivers something to the wrong building, which happens every once in a while. They’ve gone building to building and hand-delivered stuff to my door more than once. They really do go above and beyond for their residents.
Soraya Diaz: Have been here a year and a half, really convenient commute to highway, good management and quiet.
D D: Do not live here water is always off no hot water you can hear everything through the walls pepole constantly slamming doors no one picks up after there pets. Rude management. They lie to you when u sign the lease saying it’s a great place to live that is a lie. Packages go missing all the time all they care about is money and frankly for the amount of money you pay it’s not worth it hall ways smell like mold. Awful place I regret it I will also be posting pictures as proof of their neglect they like to answer reviews saying what pepole are reviewing are allegation’s. That’s why I will be posting pictures as proof slumlords at its best
noura yousef: Waste of money, water outage all the time, molds problem, broken and clogged drying machine, mice won't go away. the racist managers Vicky and Michelle have no life but break into the apartments and take photos without your consent to have excuses to take the deposit money . IF you have Children avoid this place it’s not a family friendly. the management team think Rude= professionalism they need to update their information or not who cares. again if you come prepare your self for someone break into your place and fill their photo library with it SO disrespectfulness.
MoMo Musa: 1-Mice problems 2- water outage and you will not get warm or hot water at all 3- the rudest management team you can ever see. Biggest regret ever. You need to have an attorney with you before stepping into that place.
Joanna R: I just finished my second 15 month lease with Audubon Plantation Ridge. Hands down I give nothing but the best compliments to the future tenants inquiring. Buildings are key fobbed for safety, which is good for people who live alone. I have worked with Vicky and Robert the most throughout the past two and a half years. They both have helped me out in so many ways over the past couple of years. Maintenance calls are a tenant’s worry, especially over a weekend. The few times I had to call, I had a knock on my door, or at least a phone call, within the hour. The maintenance guys here are the best. The process for receiving packages is smooth too with their locker system. I know Google only allows 5 stars but I give 10. Best of luck to any future tenants
Mary Hurja: We, My adopted 86-year-old Mom and I have been living at the Audubon plantation for a year and we LOVE our Apartment and our Audubon plantation family. Robert and Viki are amazing and the staff are all so very kind and always respond quickly to our needs. We are so grateful we choose to live here!
John Williams: Audubon is a nice place to live if you like the condo living and being centrally located. I lived here for 4 years from 2017 to 2021 and I had zero issues with the apartment and the maintenance staff was great if something broke. I am giving it 3 stars because the apartment was not luxury. It was good quality for sure but wasn’t like we were getting top of the line cabinets, countertops, and appliances. The biggest issue is the cut throat increase on rent. I understand taxes go up and the market rents go up, but they were going up $100-$200 a month when the rent was already $500 or so over market. If you don’t mind over paying it’s a wonderful place to live.
Kelie McIntyre: I got super sick here. I was the picture of health before moving in. There was mold and when I told management, they said they would have it fixed. Their idea of having it fixed was having maintenance (who walked in on my getting dressed) come up and paint over it. When I told them it didn’t fix it , they didn’t care. This was in 2018. It’s now 2022 and I’m still dealing with health complications that went undiagnosed until I worked with a functional doctor who told me it’s consistent with mold exposure and ongoing inflammation from it. Not to mention they are insane and lie about move out costs. I’d steer clear.
Savita Sharma: Robert is the BEST and very helpful throughout my apartment leasing process. I bothered him many times with phone calls as I moved from Atlanta to Worcester. He has a good sense of humor and always helping others (thank you for helping me move my heavy furniture packages from the mailroom). The Audubon Plantation Ridge apartment complex is a beautiful community. My move to the new place was excellent. My apartment is lovely. I was worried about that as I booked it online. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Worcester, MA, with many amenities.
rayan mathoera: Robert was phenomenal and super helpful throughout our apartment hunting process. My girlfriend and I are moving from New York and this experience has been nothing short of amazing. He is always a call or email away. I would definitely recommend Audubon Plantation Ridge to anyone who is looking for a nice luxurious complex with many amenities to offer and wonderful staff to help with any of your needs.
Hitesh Surej: Fantastic
Travis Abele: I lived here for 2 1/2 years and overall had a great experience and would easily move back. You get the best of both worlds by being centrally located in the city but secluded up on a hill in a quiet community. They do a great job with the grounds and has beautiful views in certain areas. Everyone in the office was fantastic to deal with and they were always on top of everything. The apartments themselves were also nice and well kept up, even though they are starting to get a little dated. I thought they were fine but if you're looking for apartments with the most modern interior feel, this may not be the place. Now the negatives. The biggest one by far was the A/C going out multiple times both summers I lived there, and they would always go out on the hottest days of the year. Yes it was eventually taken care of but sometimes it would take late into the next day for the issue to be fixed. Clearly there's a flaw in the HVAC systems of the buildings that they either can't seem to figure out or don't care to spend the money upgrading. The other one was the walls being fairly thin. I didn't have a problem since everyone around me were very quiet and respectful but it could be an issue if you get the wrong neighbors.
John Iannotta: Nice place
Edvina Uzunovic: The complex is well maintained, clean, and one gets feeling that everything is taken care of for you. We recently moved in, and I have nothing but the best to say about the apartment. Most of all, the staff is amazing. I need to single out Robert Herman, the manager. Very helpful and professional.
Daniel Roberts: Overall my experience living here has been pretty good. The apartments are nice, the grounds are well kept and management/maintenance are fast to respond to requests during the day.My only real gripe and why it loses one star is that the AC during the summer goes down at least once every few weeks, usually for extended periods of many hours. If this happens during office hours its usually fixed quickly, but more often than not it happens at night or right as the office closes, and doesn't get fixed until the following day. If its a chronic problem and happens consistently every few weeks why has it not been permanently fixed. Several times I have had to stay in a hotel or at a friends simply because I cant afford a night sweating and without sleep
Dan Driggs: I lived here between 2018 and 2021 in a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 roommate. The apartment itself was okay. Nothing to rave about. It was nice that we had 2 separate bathrooms and plenty of space. If you need a place to live that's close to 495, I can see this being an attractive living location. Walking the loop around the complex is nice. The gym is nice when you want to get a quick workout in. The pool allows for you to cool off in the summer. And you are close to many stores around the Worcester/Shrewsbury area. The reason I am giving this place 2 stars:The A/C in my room would consistently go down during the hot summer months. Strangely enough, the A/C would remain working for my roommate in his room. I had many miserable sweaty nights, wishing that an advertised piece of the apartment would work properly. At one point, maintenance had to install a portable A/C in my room as a band-aid fix. I'm happy they gave me that option, but for the amount of times the A/C went down, it doesn't resolve the situation or make me feel any better about the money spent at this apartment. As a side note - one of my friends moved into a different building in the same complex, and also has had A/C issues this summer. Seems to be a trend. The package system that Audubon Plantation Ridge has implemented is absolutely awful. During my last few months of living there, it seemed that they were trying to resolve this issue, but the stacks of tenant's boxes left unsorted in a single room is not a viable approach. Trying to find your package in a sea of packages is not only time consuming, but causes confusion when you cannot find the package that was marked as "Delivered". I've never seen a more unorganized mess.Upon moving out, we were told any mail that was received to our address at Audubon Plantation Ridge would be forwarded to the new address we provided. This was not the case, and instead a package that I had been waiting months for was returned to sender. I was not notified of this action, and instead had to call the apartment complex's management to get an answer. The email system that Audubon Plantation Ridge relies on does not function properly. During my time here, only my roommate would receive email updates. I had asked management several times to put me on the mailing list, but I never once received an email. Eventually, this ended up costing me $140, as an email was sent out to "all residents" to move their cars out of the lot within 36 hours so that the parking lot could be repaved. I did not receive the email and my roommate was away, so I was not notified of this announcement. As a result, my car was towed. It should also be noted that a 36 hour window is not sufficient for such a large scale project that can end up costing residents huge sums of money. As a frame of reference - the new apartment complex that I'm living in now will send out mass emails notifying residents multiple times if a single car needs to be moved.Overall, it's clear that management needs to be improved.2/5. Would not live here again.
Caitlyn Bauske: I recently moved into an apartment here and it is perfect! The location is country quiet with access to everything you would want from a city in a 5-10 minute drive. Maintenance comes out fast and is respectful. My shower drain wasn't draining quite right, I put in a request and the same day it was fixed. There is never an issue with finding a parking spot. Those who have animals clean up after them. The appliances are great! I highly recommend coming to tour this complex and making it your new home!

145 Front at City Square: what do users think?
Vatsi Visvalingam: We recently moved in to 145 Front Street. The building and the amenities are truly wonderful. The gym is fully equipped with state of the art equipment along with a separate room for fitness on demand use. We are enjoying the common areas which are exquisitely furnished with a pool table, skee ball machine etc. We are looking forward to enjoying the outdoor amenities when the weather improves! More than the building we love the wonderful staff. The friendly concierges make you feel welcome at all times. The leasing process was a breeze mainly due to the amazing leasing department. Special shoutout to Elena and Kegan who have been wonderful through the whole process and continues to be so after move in.
Ben Zogby: About the best experience I've had with a leasing staff out of many. Very responsive, professional and courteous. Friendly concierge staff who greet residents by name with a smile. Maintenance requests addressed same-day. Highly recommend!
axwillbe: Terrible experience living at 145 front street. The apartments themselves are fine- though certainly over priced. Something is always broken (treadmills, bbq grill, firepit, gate) and usually is broken for months at a time. Staff is so incredibly unhelpful and rude. The apartments are blistering hot (80 degrees in January) without the heat on. Then you get yelled at for using A/C.Don’t recommend.
Paul Egusquiza: Me and my roommate originally scheduled a tour for this property with initial pricing on their website being significantly higher than what they advertised. The parking situation is terrible. You can only have one vehicle per unit, otherwise you pay for garaged parking in a public garage around the area that runs you an additional $200+ and is certainly not convenient. They have no idea what units are actually going to be available at particular move in dates, which is beyond me and they even informed us that we would more than likely not be able to see our unit until we signed a lease and moved in the day of. Who is going to commit to moving into a unit they can not even see? They also have another hidden fee that is not even mentioned until you go to do your application. It is an additional $90 that is mandatory. I've lived in numerous complexes and I have to say this complex has great amenities but they need to get it together logistically. For the price point they offer they should have this figured out.For transparency I am not a tenant here and can not speak on the experience relating to living at this property. If the application process is any indication, however, I would stray away from this place. I do not recommend leasing here.
Michael Kuenzler: Keegan and Kate are awesome. They answered all of our questions, always got right back to us, and made the move in process seamless and easy
Ambar Maria Olivares: We were initially enchanted by 145 Front St. The downtown location is near many restaurants. There’s a swimming pool and barbecue area, and the building is near area hospitals, which is especially important for medical residents who have to rotate through the UMass system. The doormen/front desk staff are very kind, the hallways smell great, and the apartment and building’s interior are aesthetically pleasing. However, it didn’t take long for the charm to wear thin. After living here for just under 4 months, my fiancé and I, who both work in healthcare, now feel we were misled. Here is why:-The gym has five treadmills, three of which have been out of service for over a month, and the fourth whose screen recently broke (photos below).-The computers at the front workspace, immediately to the left of the front lobby of the main entrance, have technical issues and often don’t work.-The main entrance garage gate was broken for more than 1 month and wouldn’t open and close for cars to enter or leave (photo below). It has broken more than once during our time here. We are forced to use another gate which, because of the location, is a major daily inconvenience.-They only allow one parking spot per apartment. Any additional cars are put on a “6 month minimum” waitlist and are required to park off the property in downtown parking lots surrounded by the homeless, drug addicts and shady characters, who at times are actively using substances and give the area an unsafe feel. As a woman and night shift nurse, I feel very vulnerable passing through this gauntlet. When I mentioned this to assistant manager, Kate, she asked me if I had ever lived in a city before, and chuckled. (We have lived in over 6 major cities, by the way, and never had this issue.)-The wifi we are required to pay for is slow but they encourage residents to utilize this wifi/cable package rather than getting their own because they insist it is extremely “high speed” at 300 mbps. It lags and crashes daily. We’ve even done multiple speed tests (photos below) that show the internet is slow, ranging between 0.25-4.3 mbps at different times of the day.-When I tried speaking to the assistant manager Kate about the issues, she got defensive, began cutting me off, and took zero accountability for the apartment's defects.-When you complain to management about the broken computers, gym equipment and gate, they say these are not included in our rent and so we have no right to complain.-With all the maintenance issues, the building has yet to reach out to residents with either an apology, updates, or reassurance that there’s even a plan to get things back up and running. With all these lingering issues, they have remained unapologetic, unwilling to negotiate rent, or at the very least, sent out a communication to show they care for their residents and appreciate their patience.
Windy Sittee: My daughter and I stopped by to talk to someone about looking at an apartment. We were completely ignored. My daughter overheard the two people at the desk say that they didn’t have time to see anyone. I was a bit offended because we sat there for almost 30 minutes waiting for the young lady to come back to the office.. Eventually, I asked the young lady would she have time to talk to us and she said she was completely booked up for the day. This is a red flag for me. If Worcester wants to be more like Boston these newly developed apartment buildings need to be more approachable.***UPDATE***We found a beautiful apartment at The Commons at Haynes Farms in Shrewsbury
Brandon Hamilton: The absolute best apartments I have ever lived in.Kate, Krissy and Kegan ensure that each and every guest has the same wonderful experience. Every interaction has always been warm and inviting with each of them.Great amenities with an awesome surrounding community of tenants.Everything is extremely clean and well kept from the hallways to the gym to the garages to the trash-rooms!I would renew the lease here in a heartbeat!!!
Craig Mann: I am a new resident at 145 Front. I have enjoyed the complex thus far and am very much looking forward to finally getting fully settled in and taking advantage of all the great amenities here. I have not had much communication and/or interaction with many people yet within the building, either staff or residents, however, there is definitely a warm and friendly vibe throughout and the entire complex appears clean and well taken care of - inside & out. The primary reason I am choosing to leave a review is to compliment the leasing specialist that I worked with, Kegan. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and answered all of my questions in a timely and in-depth manner. As someone myself that receives many emails for work-related questions throughout the day, I understand how difficult it can be to keep up with everything and make all your contacts feel important and welcome. Kegan had no problem with this at all and was a decisive factor in my choosing Front St as my new home. I appreciate all of his help during the process as choosing where to live and making that decision is not always an easy task. And since moving in, he continues to be kind and welcoming so it is clear it is not just for ‘show’ or a trick to get you to sign a lease. I’ve experienced that before and it was very frustrating. Having his help was beneficial and made moving in a bit easier as I felt like I already had established a connection with someone there and generally just felt comfortable. I am hopeful my living here results in the same and I have a good feeling that it will.
Garett Bonasorte: Great customer service. Kegan, gave us a tour of the apartment options and the amenities available. Super helpful in answering all questions. Would recommend for your next apartment search.
Corey Keeling: I have had the best experience while living here and I am truly sad to have to leave for work reasons. The management personnel I often communicated with (Kate, Keagan & Ariel) were fantastic and always receptive! The golf simulator, the pool, the gym, the safe parking garage, & the short walk to the center of Worcester are massive highlights to this apartment complex. Also, every morning they had a Keurig with coffee out and ready for tenants to grab and go, what more could you ask for!I was also very fortunate in my room selection; my neighbours were quiet & respectful & in the summer my room was a comfortable temperature. Even on the hottest weeks my apartment remained mid 70s.5 Stars; Would recommend to anyone & everyone.
Alaaedin1: Bad choice, poor and rude management. Long hallways to get to the garage or trash area, if your apartment facing the streets, noise from cars, ambulance sirens and trains ( St Vincent hospital and Union station across the street ) will wake you up at night frequently. And if you facing the pool, loud neighbors drinking and having loud music on till late hours especially around the weekends. Apartments are not well isolated to noise, so if you are not in the top floor, the steps of your neighbors above will shake your whole apartment. Area is not that safe with a lot of homeless people around. They allow you one paid car spot in the garage, so if you have more than one car you have to park far, pay more and expose yourself to danger and bad weather. On top of that, it’s super expensive and way over rated. More spacious, luxurious and cheaper options close by with better and more friendly communities. Absolutely not a good choice for professionals or families.
Matt Clarke: Just some facts for the people wondering out there:- I was charged over $400 from my security deposit (the only issue on the letter to me was “damage to stove top” - it was a small dent in the stove top control panel, all the burners worked, however to me it would seem they replaced the whole stove top)-I got this place for $1550 (650 sq ft - my renewal offer going into my 4th year was $1950, the zillow for my 650 sq feet was listed for $2400), I had asked to break the lease, but they had asked for $10K to do that-after living there for 2 years, the office tried to charge me for 2 parking spaces (an extra $90 per month) I fought it and got the credits back to my account (luckily I noticed the higher charge!)-this place isn’t secure - homeless people come in off the street sometimes and the concierge will go missing trying to find them-a covered spot will run you another $60-loud as heck if you’re facing the mercantile center (between homeless people yelling at night, the buses, sirens)-the street lights can be a pain at night (if you like a dark room at night, I would check the curtain policy - it could have been changed?)-not too much of a community (some will say hi, some won’t)-when I applied, they did not background check, nor credit check-there is only 1 point of egress from your roomIf I could go back, I wouldn’t live here.
I “CuzJanoSaidSo” I: Yeah go pay $2500/ month for a one bedroom apt. You just are not allowed to have more than one guest in the bbq area or pool. Figures right.
Nina J: No respect!
Emmanuel Simpson: I have personally enjoyed living at 145 Front street. Rent prices are affordable, staff members are very polite and overall the building feels very secure with many amenities residents can use. Kate is one of the nicest ladies and always goes out of her way to say high to tenants. Maintenance is also prompt and efficient. Hoping to renew at the end of my current lease.
Michaela Koller: Incredibly confused how this company can justify charging over $3k a month for a 2-bedroom apartment when the median household income in Worcester is hovering just above $50k a year.
Matthew medeiros: The concierge service is amazing. Ariel always answers any questions in a friendly way.All the members of krissys team from security, house keeping and any maintenance issues have been handled in a positive manner.I would recommend 145 Front to anyone looking for a nice place to live.
Edwin Thai: The apartments themselves as previously mentioned are of ok quality. There are 3 main issues with the apartment itself.1) They use a cheap flat paint for most of the walls (this is both hard to clean and easily marked/dirty). This is most apparent in the seating area of any of the kitchens.2) In many of the apartments, the wet areas suffers from black mold issue (I have no tested whether it is Stachybotrys chartarum, I am hoping not but again I have not tested it). As a result, careful consideration and regularly cleaning must be done to keep mold spores in check.3) Overall, no careful consideration of the construction has been done. Points 1 & 2 are part of this. But here are more examples: the overhang of the kitchen counter, underneath is untouched and unfinished so when you accidentally touch it, it is dusty and chalky. The lack of more ventilation in the room leads to stagnant air. The materials and design of the kitchen cabinets is poor leading to certain doors to constantly break. The garage is built on the narrow side which causes close interactions with cars. There are no mirrors in the garage to see turning traffic. The main issue with this apartment however, is not the apartment itself. I believe that even with all these issues it is not bad. The physical structure itself is decent. The reason why I would not choose to live here again is the management and service. There are very notable exceptions. Michael and his team are exceptional, I don't think that you can ask for a better maintenance team. While I haven't seen Ashley (concierge) in awhile she was great at getting things done and friendly. That being said the leasing office has not been great (it's been a steady decline in service and aptitude). Ariel is a rude and dismissive concierge, and doesn't possess qualities fitting for a customer facing position. He is not interested in helping or assisting but more interested in blaming. I believe that other reviews online are speaking about him.Overall I cannot recommend this place. If you are searching for a semi-luxury/luxury building, I think that Quinn35 is probably your best bet. If you are looking for a place in Worcester itself, I think that Edge is also not a bad consideration. If I were looking for a place right now (those 2 were from research I did when I was looking for an apartment), I would also consider the courthouse lofts.
Ralph McEnany: Hate to say it, but I can't recommend renting here. Krissy and the office staff will treat you great and tell you whatever you want to hear until you sign your lease, and then they will treat you like you're lucky to live here. Complaints are not addressed, the front desk supervisor thinks he is a cop and spends his time lurking around and harassing women instead of doing his actual jon. Our main parking garage door has been broken for four months, it has not been fixed and we have not received one update as to when if ever it will be. Multiple people went without air conditioning for over a week in July. Pet fees go up while access to pet areas continues to be restricted. The reviews for this building have been dropping for over a year now, and any long-timer here can tell you exactly why. Luckily there's better buildings in the area, and since 145 charges absolute top dollar, you'll find cheaper options too.
Yiqing Zhang: Yesterday I received a notice from the leasing office that due to the problem of renewing the lease, I need to pay one more month lease with additional $500. I used to live in THE GRID, and the apartment will give a reminder when it's almost time to renew. I also heard from my friend who lives in 145 FRONT that he also received a reminder from office last year. But this year I did not receive any reminder at all. I am very angry about it. Reminding the tenant is hard. If apartment just wants to make money and forgets the most basic obligations, this apartment will not last.
