When I called they gave me an attitude and told me that if i didn’t purchase the generator from them then they will get to it when their customers are taken care of after given multiple time they said they will show up.

Jerry Costa: I saw a post about Bigelow Electric in Worcester and had to add my post also even though I almost never post on the internet. When I arrived at Bigelow Electrical I happened to pass the owner of the company. I didn't realize this at the time however; he introduced himself as Scott Bigelow and asked if I was being helped.I explained I had a rather large motor on my flatbed and he came out to the truck and looked at the motor.He actually went into great detail about the motor and the original manufacturer, their history and even a few changes they made on the design. I must say the owner was like a walking computer of knowledge when discussing the motor. He then asked me to come into his office and pulled up a few drawings and went into great detail about the working parts and the design.He then brought in a person who worked in a room called the winding room and we discussed a change that the manufacturer had done to a thing called a rotor and a stator.After this meeting it was clear to me that I had the older design and I could get a much better productivity with a couple changes in the motor. I received a written quote in three days and approved the quote right away.It’s been about 6 years now and the motor is still going strong. Thank you again all. Store is clean, staff friendly. 4 stars because of the line to check out, 1 register open despite 4 employees talking in front of the other three registers. There was an issue at the register, and that's when one of the "talkers" realized the line for people to pay. Then they called someone else to come up front to open a register. Protocols and policies are great, but when someone wants to give you money, I believe a greater effort needs to be made to make the process easier.

Bill Flannery: I want to share my very positive experience working with MetroWest Power. Mike was very patient in answering all of my questions regarding what size generator would work best for me. He committed to an 2 day installation a couple of weeks out and called the day before the start date and asked if he could bring the unit over early and set it up to give his crew a head start on the first day. Josh and Fred showed up at 8:15 ( as promised) and were very willing to answer any questions and kept us in the loop regarding when they would have to shut down the power to install the board for the generator. They worked in over 90 degree heat and never slowed down. (PS- I had a landscaping crew that left at noon that day because the heat was so oppressive.) Josh and Fred are extremely knowledgable, professional and very courteous. They actually finished in 1 day and left my basement spotless! Their gas guy was also very thorough and worked thru the extreme heat without a complaint.Unfortunately over the last few years it's been hard to find a company that over delivers and shows up on time. I would recommend them without hesitation and even (IF) it costs a little more than other companies, it will be well worth it.

Andrew Gallant: It was really great working with MetroWest to install a 16kW Generac standbygenerator. Mike was extremely responsive via email, which I really appreciated.By the end of the project, I think our email chain had grown to about 30 emailsor so. He answered every question we had.Also, I have to add that MetroWest's electrician, Josh, was phenomenal. He wasso easy-going, encouraged questions, gave honest opinions and very detailedanswers to everything. Really could not have been any better. In the courseof installing the generator, we also had MetroWest replace our entire agingelectrical panel. Josh pointed out areas of improvement and helped us getour setup up to code. Namely, our house wasn't properly grounded previously,but they fixed that. They also cleaned up our messy electrical setup on theexterior of our house. Josh also installed a surge suppressor in order to helpprotect our electronics from power surges.Even when we had questions weeks after the install, Josh got back to us rightaway.If you're wondering about noise from the generator, I've attached a video (plus an assortment of pictures) to give you an idea. Keep in mind that I'm standing right next to the generator, so it sounds very loud. When we're inside the house with the windows closed, it sounds more like a dull hum.Overall, it could not have gone any better. If we ever have a chance to useMetroWest again in the future, we won't hesitate. We look forward to workingwith them on future generator maintenance!
