Steven SanSoucie - SS Fit Studio: I went in on Friday looking to purchase a heater for my above ground pool as well as a replacement pump and filter. I did not know much about the heaters but Shawn and the rest of the staff in Auburn were fantastic! They took the time explain the differences in models, prices etc. No pressure and they were so nice. I purchase a new heater, new pump and filter and can't wait for pool season to be here! Mark Hunt: Hot Tub service is beyond terrible. Thought I was buying a top of the line tub with Jacuzzi and have had 4 service calls in the first 3 months. They don’t show when scheduled and if they do show they probably won’t have the parts. Three days I took off from work to meet the tech. Just to have them no-show.So… jacuzzi Tubs=junk and Namco service=terrible.

In fact, it is a hot tub sold and installed by your company brand new. Second, your tech Jon is the reason I am bumping up my review. Not only did he contact us as soon as possible but he was extremely apologetic for the way I was treated by one of your employees. I hope you know his worth and please be sure to let him know we are grateful for his quick response to us. He was able to get our hot tub up and running after a year of not being able to use it and we are thrilled.Very poor customer service. I called last June to have our hot tub serviced. After not hearing anything for a few weeks, I called and was told they were very busy and it may be a few more weeks. After not even receiving a call to schedule service, I stopped in and was told I "needed to be patient." I am just wondering if an ENTIRE YEAR is patient enough to wait for service?

I have used them in the past, and have had great experiences with them. Even during the height of the pandemic, the cost of pool products we're not this high. I chalk it up to "transitory" inflation, and or the ineptitude of a poorly run presidential administration. Who cannot seem positively effect any sector of society.

Jeff Brooks: SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS A TOTAL SCAM.I'm updating this review... While the sales experience 4 years ago was great, the service now is AWFUL. My heatimg element went out, spa only heats to 77 degrees. I went through the troubleshooting guide for Sundance and landed at a bad heating element. I called NE spas and had them open a service. Viviana called me. She was not at all interested in what the issue was. She was only interested in getting a credit card number. I did not feel comfortable and got off the phone with her. A few days later a Jarod called to follow up. He was much more caring, listening to my issue, explaining that they send a tech out and $250 fee they charge up front includes an hour of service. I explained that I was ok with that if the tech would have on their truck parts to fix the issue and that this was a heating element. Jarod reassured me that they carried parts with them and could resolve most issue but "IF THEY COULDN'T, AND HAD TO COME BACK, I WOULD NOT BE BILLED THE $249 AGAIN"The tech came out on Wednesday. He did not call me to explain what he found, nor make any attempt to fix it. He simply sent me a quote to come back and replaced the heater at a later date and yup, you guessed it, that quote included ANOTHER $249.I then called the store to discuss and unfortunately got Viviana again who basically just over talked me the whole time and said the original $249 was a diagnostic fee and the additional $249 was for the work. I recounted my conversation with Jarod where I had said I was NOT OK with that and she basically just said too bad. I then asked to talk to a manager and she said "they were all in meetings" and that she would send an email to have them call me. That was at noon. Now it's 6:30 and they're closed. No call back. Absolutely awful customer service.The sales side of this business is good but the service department is a total scam. The parts are heavily marked up- more than 2x what you can buy them for on the internet AND more importantly they absolutely lie to you to get that initial $249 charged to your credit card.PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM 4 YEARS AGO..Great overall experience! We stopped in and talked to Denise Orwat. She helped us work through the options and features that fit our needs and wants. She then put together a detailed quote for us. The price was reasonable so we ordered it. As it was being shipped from the factory Denise quoted us a 6-8 week lead time. At almost exactly six weeks, Denise emailed me to schedule the delivery. Despite a recent snow storm, the guys still showed up as scheduled and managed to get the hottub around the house and into our back yard. They also hauled away our two dysfunctional hottubs. I stopped by the store today to pick up our free chemicals. Joe spent a good amount of time with me discussing which chemicals were essential, which were optional and which he felt we didn't need based on our intended usage. He then showed how to open the filter and fill and treat the hottub on one of the floor models. These guys are really committed to making sure you have a great hottub experience! Thanks NE Spas!!

Kaitlyn Klosterman: My husband and I have gone back and forth on a hot tub for the last year and a half. We did our research and called multiple other hot tub dealers in the area but no one could come close to matching the price. At the end of the day, it was our salesman (Jeff) at the Auburn office who was the deciding factor that convinced us to bite the bullet. He was helpful and informative without being pushy, just an all-around great guy. Even after the purchase and (quick) delivery of our hot tub, Jeff remains a phone call away. He still checks in randomly to see how things are going, still answers questions immediately and made the seeming overwhelming salt system seem much more manageable than we expected. We could not be happier with our purchase, our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner!If you have been on the fence for a while, go to Auburn and ask for Jeff!

Mike McNally: I was looking to purchase a hot tub from a local dealer so stopped by New England Spas of Auburn and was greeted by Jeff Meunier. Jeff showed us the different spas they offered and all the different options they had. We took it all in and decided on a Sundance Edison 680 and couldn't be happier. They happened to have it in stock so we made the purchase and it was delivered the following week by a great crew that did a fantastic job. Jeff was also very prompt at returning phone calls or emails any time I had a quick question for him. Top notch service!

Jeff answered all our questions and gave us a few options to think about. Although my wife and I were not going to purchase a spa that day, we ultimately changed our minds and are extremely happy that we did. We purchased the Limelight Pulse model and it was delivered within a week. The delivery team led by Shawn was professional and fast. It was easy after that! I had to make 1 call to be sure that I was doing the initial start-up correct and Jeff was able to do that via phone and email. My electrician found one small issue with access panel to the tub (a couple of the screws were stripped). I placed a call to Jeff and David (repairman) came to my house within two days to repair it, while David was here he checked all the jets to be sure they were all secure (he found a couple that were loose) and 1 had popped off. David was here for about half hour and had everything fixed. My wife and I are extremely happy with our purchase and are enjoying the spa daily. Thank you!

Peter Libutti: Incomparable professionalism, quality and workmanship.
Rick Coughlin: We have a Gunite pool that Ferrari Pools installed in 1983. After forty years it was showing its age (some small cracks and plaster wearing off exposing concrete) and it was time to be resurfaced. We called Ferrari and Tony Zagame came out to measure the pool and take some notes. He walked us through the several options available to us and we selected a pebble finish looking for the aesthetics and durability. The work got scheduled sooner than we expected and Ferrari's construction supervisor (Lacky) was incredibly helpful explaining what was to be done and ensuring the work was done efficiently and properly with minimal mess.. When the water was delivered and we found that the pool wasn't holding the water, a call to Lacky was all it took to resolve the problem (a faulty hydrostatic valve). Lacky knew immediately what the problem was and by the next morning it was resolved.A real test of a company is not when everything goes perfectly smoothly - that's what is expected. The real test is when a problem arises, how quickly is it resolved and what hoops does one have to jump through to get it resolved. In Ferrari's case, they were right on top of it and resolved it as soon as they were notified. For any pool installation or repair, I would highly recommend Ferrari Pools & Spas.Services:Swimming pool resurfacing,Swimming pool equipment repair
W Y: Expensive with an extremely poor communications and costumer serviceWhen they call back (if you are lucky) they are pleasant, but it truly takes a good 4-5 attempts to reach someone …For the money you pay, certainly not worth it, very sad 😞Update:After the company’s comment on my review, I called the construction manager for questions, no answer, voicemail full, call the 1-800 number 🤦‍♂️I asked for the pool cover, the company installed the cover, no explanation, warranty form left outside in the rain, I was about to through it out when I read:“Fill and mail back in 30 days or your cover warranty is void” 😳 😳😳How am I supposed to know there is a form to fill out, if you left it on the floor, next to the trash, in the rain 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️Again, this company does good structural work however with bad service and extremely expensive prices! So you make your own decision 🤷‍♂️
Luke Jorgensen: Do not recommend: Scott C came out to look at my project rehabbing my pool. Charged me $350 to look that he said would be taken off the price once I accepted the work. Later emailed to say they were not interested in the job but that he was keeping the $350 because I paid for his experience to look and consider the job!?!
Shannon Frazer: Ferrari Pools recently renovated a 23,000 gallon free form chlorinated pool located on the South Shore and the results are stunning! I spent 6+ months researching pool builders. The final renovation included pebble technology as well as a conversion to a heated saltwater system. With these customer driven upgrades, Ferrari Pools still came in $15,000 less than a well-known South Shore pool builder who only offered a basic renovation. Ferrari came in on time and on budget.From the initial walk through to the design, construction and maintenance, the process has been simple and straightforward. Lacky goes above and beyond project managing with a careful eye. He has made the process easy and truly fun. The whole Ferrari Team is friendly, responsive, efficient, honest and hard working. This team produces high quality work and their attention to detail is bar none. The team is extremely skilled in their craft and extremely communicative. Lacky and his crew were a well rehearsed orchestra. There were zero hiccups and not a single idle moment in the 3 days they were here. Maria Cincotta: Ferrari renovated my pool in fall of 2019 - it looks fantastic, and once they were ready to start my project, it was like clockwork.What I was most impressed with is the customer service from Lacky. He knows the business, and was consistently responsive, and reliable. If Lacky says he will do it, you can take it to the bank.Recently, I noticed I needed a small repair in the concrete. My immediate assumption was that I would never receive a return call, given that it's almost 3 years post project completion. Lacky is still with the company and was on site within a couple days of my call and is addressing my concern.
Suzanne Stavros: My husband and I recently had our 18+. year old pool and patio renovated. Ferrari Pools did an outstanding job! Al, Lacky, Diane and Keith were a pleasure to work with. Al & Lacky kept the project on schedule and Diane was always responsive to our questions. Lacky was great coordinating the pebbling, managing the job on-site, communicating with us to what was happening and when as well as coordinating with the company to fill the pool. Al was great with on-site management and made certain our pool was up and running properly. Keith and his team did a beautiful job on our patio! Erin Cox: We just recently had our 30+ year old pool renovated with new coping and tiling as well as some concrete repair and replacement of a skimmer. It's never easy to renovate due to unforeseen conditions, but Ferrari Pools was willing to take on the project. Originally quoted back in September by the estimator Tony, work began this spring. One thing I appreciated is that they honored the original quote from Fall of 2021 even though I'm sure there were rising costs across the industry due to inflation and manufacturing lead times.Because we were a small job requiring multiple trades we were fit between other projects. Our project manager was Lacky, and he was honest, forthright, and communicative throughout the improvement from initial inspection to punch list coordination. Anytime we called or texted, he immediately responded. If there was an issue or question he or another team member would be our at our house that day for resolution. Lacky made sure the renovation completed in time for the summer season and has continued to be a resource for any of our pool-related questions.We are thrilled to have a fresh, new space and appreciate the relationship built with Ferrari.

Do your homework and ask around before engaging with any pool company. We wish we had known better. We now have an amazing pool company. Night and day experience from our years with Ferrari.

Ian Fier: We had a custom pool designed and installed by Ferrari after exploring several options. They handled all of the permitting, inspections and subcontractors, so it was seamless experience. They also constructed a fire pit and stone seating area. All in all, this exceeded our expectations in how the pool came out. Its very hard to visualize a mark on the ground, but Jason Ward has a great eye for it. We also use Ferrari for opening/closing and service during the season, and their employees are knowledgable, meticulous and professional. Pool always looks great and water is clean. Highly recommend for both design/installation and maintenance.

The staff in the store are always more than helpful and accommodating.The handful of times they have come to work on my pool, there were fast while still paying close attention to detail, friendly and neat/clean.One particular time they came to work on my pool, they went way out of their way to do a few things right instead of taking the easy way they took the extra steps to assure it was done the best way possible. If I'm remembering correctly I believe the two gentlemens names word Doug and jared.I could go on with good experiences through this company. But I cannot come up with a single bad experience.

Lorie Cahill: Heritage Pools is by far the best in Massachusetts. Paul, Linda, Donna, and the install crew are knowledgeable and down to earth. Pauls expertise has saved me thousands over 5 years because he arms me with the power to handle issues with ease. I have a saltwater inground pool with and ozonator. When fidelity pools tried to scare me with nonsense, Paul hands me a bottle of yellowtrine and says use this and brush it tonight. Then add 2 gallons of shock. I wake up to a clear and balanced pool. If youre looking for no nonsense, no fear mongering, and just honest help and assistance, these are your people.

Andre Silva: ***STAY AWAY!***I bought a home that had a pool was serviced through this company. This year I had my first mishap with them in which they schedule my pool opening, confirmed that a crew would be coming to my house in which I took time off of work to be there and when I get to my house at the time they were supposed to be there no one shows up, since no one called me back I gave them a call and was told no one would show up, I was upset and was told by Paul the owner that "the world isn't perfect" I was upset because no one called me and I had to call in to find out.Fast forward two weeks later after they finally opened my pool I put an order of a heat pump, gave the owner my card # and was told they needed a $400 deposit to which I agreed, two days go by and my card isn't charged, knowing their level of organization I called it and spoke to a woman that got my card # again and charged it later that day, I was promised that this would be installed within three weeks, those three weeks go by and I am not given an update, once again I call after a month of the initial charge and ask and was told that the pump is in a truck on its route to Massachusetts, it should be in the state through the weekend and I would be given a call early the week after to schedule this installation.Well I was given a call today and this woman on the phone said she is calling to schedule but cannot give me a time frame, could be anywhere between 9AM-6PM, mind you this is a week day and for a system like this someone needs to be home to learn how to manage it, I proceed to ask her if someone can send me a video of it and she said the installer who will be working on it cannot do that so she put me on hold to find a solution, she comes back on the phone and says that actually she made a mistake and the heat pump is still in Florida, I then ask her If i was lied to, she immediately transfers me to Paul that like always answers with an attitude in goes on to lie about what he just told me otherwise three days before.If you made it this far, my advise to you is stay away from these people, they do not know how to treat a costumer, lie to your face and are unapologetic about their mistakes, horrible company from top to bottom.They have lost my business and I am sure I will not be the last one.

Austin Power: Worst buyers remorse I’ve experienced so far in my life. Don’t buy a spa unless you are sure you will use and enjoy it on a regular basis otherwise it is a huge money pit. Whatever they quote you for the tub you should double for the total price of install etc. We are at $30 k and counting and we only bought a $15k tub. Run away as fast as you can.

William DeBenedetto: Purchased my Sundance in 2021 from a different dealer but after multiple issues with them I got Sundance to transfer my warranty and service coverage to New England spas. Unlike the other company, I receive prompt responses and they came out within 5 days of requesting service. The tech Dave that came out was very personable, super knowledgeable, and helpful. I explained to him I had service down back in mid 2022 and the issue then was the same as now, a temperature sensor. Dave was upfront with me that Sundance did have a ru n of bad sensors but the issue was fixed. He explained the problem sensors had a green wire and the new sensors that addressed the issue was now red. I was very satisfied with the service and appreciated the candidness. Would recommend this company

Steven Gallien: My wife and I bought a Sundance Hot Tub from Nespas and from day 1 it was tripping the breaker almost daily. I had Service tech Dave Groulx from Nespas come out and he figured out it was the way it was wired in the breaker panel. It was not the hot tub at all. Dave was excellent, professional, and kept me in the loop. We are now back to enjoying our hot tub!! Thanks Dave!

MBL: Bought a pretty expensive Spa at this place yet all communication stopped once I signed and dropped off the downpayment. Our spa finally arrived several month delayed, got „dropped-off“ at the house yet nobody bothered to help us with the setup such as connecting it to power or setting up the proper chemicals. I’d never buy at NES again!

Jason was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel heard and understood when it came to our wants and needs. Also must add, he was very patient and kind with our three little ones while we were perusing our options. Augie, Dylan, Anthony and William were our delivery team. Even amongst rain they were professional, respectful and diligent. They gave us ample opportunities to make minor changes to positioning of the spa and helped make smart decisions. Curt Anderson: Yesterday, July 7, 2022, the New England Spas service technician performed his magic on our brand new HotSprings Grandee spa. We were able to go into the spa for the first time last night, due to David's prompt response to my wife Susanne's and my request for help. David Moy: Great experience from sales to delivery to installation. Installers Augie, Shawn, Dylan and Edwin were on time and did a great job. Original electrician fell through so we used recommended NE Spa electrician and cost was outrageous.

I am impressed with the professionalism, customer service and genuine friendliness of the staff, from sales to delivery and set-up. The salespeople took the time to educate us about different types and features of hot tubs and guided us to a model that is right for us. The delivery crew was simply amazing. Augie, Nick, Dylan and Edwin made it seem easy as they hoisted our new spa from the flatbed truck to the front yard and then by crane to back yard over the top of the house. I never doubted them for a moment! They set up the hot tub, packaged up all the wrapping materials and helped me put the recyclable items in my bin. Since delivery, Steve in sales has been very helpful with getting me all the supplies I need. I am very pleased with my purchase so far and would recommend New England Spas to anyone who is interested in improving their outdoor life.
