Gloria Cabrera: What a joke! The phone line says they will get back to you within 1 week. They got back to me 3 weeks later, left a voicemail to call back and dial extension 172. The same thing happened where I need to leave a message and wait “1 week” again. This is so frustrating
Latavia K.: Long application wait times (2 months for me), if you call both numbers their prompt will tell you to leave only 1 message and they’ll “call you back in a week”…. It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve gotten 0 callbacks. Woman at the front desk was rude when you come in during their walk-in “counseling” hours. Oh also, after waiting 2 full months after submitting EVERYTHING they required, not get a callback or an email with an update, they just need one more thing before they can even consider helping you. I didn’t have that one document and they turned me away.. everything else was sent in from the landlord and myself, but there’s always something with these people. Please from experience, save yourself the time and effort and stay away from this group. They’ll give you way more problems than when you first started.

Optimus Prime: These people have helped in the past. But recently they have caused so much stress. I submited all documents requested and they continue to say it was not sent. They then lied and said they requested more things, but they never told me. So, they closed my case and now I have to start over. Complete ignorance. Thanks for nothing. Avoid if possible. RAFT helped me the first time. RAP was selected this time and they didn't do much of anything. They get paid to mess with those in need.

s: It is -4 degrees outside and they are leaving an autistic man who has been homeless for a year straight to die in the cold!Where is all the donation money going?I have been homeless for over a year andtold I was on the waiting list and it would be 2 months I also called back at the end of 2022 during a bad storm and they told me the same thing that it would be a 2 month weight they took my name and private information and I don't know what they did with it as well as the donation money that they are receiving I believe it is going in somebody's back pocket.
Sarada: I have not seen the inside this building so can’t exactly tell about the maintenance and condition of it. I am part of a group that donates food occasionally. My rating 4 is because of the service they provide like food shelter and clothing. Seems like they accept donations of all kinds except bedding due to the risk of bed bugs. Staff seemed good though I have interacted only couple of times so far.

Tiffany Lacroix: It has its ups and downs. Mostly downs sadly. My husband and I stayed there for about 8 months and we were in the same spot that we were when we first got there. They only help people with housing if u have an income so if u have no job or ur disabled but not getting benefits or if u are a struggling addict.... Good luck 🤞 pray for all the ones lost to that place. Also if u are an addict please don't be alone when u are using ur life can be saved by another. Always carry narcan. This place also may be haunted.... I won't get into that

Jay Davis: A bed and a sturdy shower and bathroom but I gave them three stars anyways because they are the only wet shelter in Central Mass for adult males but I have been there almost 3 months and have not even been addressed by a worker yet even after putting in 3 request to talk to the social worker. This picture was taken out back late last night after I had an interview with documentation going why I was late But ? I chose not to go in because of that headache I would have gotten just to get a bunk and by the time they made the decision I could come in it was already 11:30 at night and they wake us up at 5:30 in the morning and I needed a shower

Christine Bruso: DO NOT RENT AT 14 CRESTON ST - landlord DOES not care about her tenants - that's why. It's are empty now. No HEAT in winter and she gives you space heaters to run up YOUR electric bill and they are dangerous to begin with. My grandson caught pneumonia twice this past winter and she still hasn't put heater in. You will be a source of money for this slum lord.

I was told by the director that because I'm poor and my family lives on income based housing that we deserve the bare minimum for an apartment. Apparently bare minimum means lead paint with children, hundreds of thousands of mice. no working toilet for 6 months. And black mold in the bathroom and kitchen. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. They dont care about the families they are tasked with caring for. They contract out to slumlords who's buildings are condemnable

Ketcy Montalvan Guitar Lessons: This agency has a lot of professional issues. There are technicalities in their letters, and no one answers back when leaving a voice mail. I have been trying for someone to call me back since April of 2022.
Phyllis Zusman: Staff has their own agenda. Works for their clients even when it damages other people living in the building. If you complain they just stop responding. They seem to make up rules as they go along. Allows extra people even when not allowed by voucher (or by MA lead laws.) Have never seen such an incompetent agency -and they don't care. No internal checks, no way to file a complaint. Don't even deserve 1 star. They are trying to eliminate available housing because why would any landlord want to work with an agency actively working against them.?

Brittany Austin: I called them when I became unemployed. As a homeowner, they were not able to help me with anything except "resources" that were all dead ends. You need to be persistent. They DO NOT return your phone calls or emails. Extremely irritating, especially when you explain the situation to Amy and she refuses to contact you back.
Mustapha Abdulai Mahama: LANDLORDS BEWARE!! BEWARE!!Landlords should be weary of dealing with section-8 clients from their office. They never respond to your inquiries and as a first time home buyer you are on your own. I inherited a tenant with many problems from my purchase and as soon as RCAP notices it was a new owner they started demanding for everything to fixed including ruthless damages by tenants and her teenagers. I started working on these list of stuff which some were very minor stuff like the light bulb shade needing cleaning, the rails on the staircase needing tightening etc etc- RCAP never shows up for re-inspection. I went ahead to give the tenant notice to start looking for a new place. The tenant refuses to move, RCAP stopped her payments since August last year 2022 despite all major repairs done , tenant never pays her portion claiming RCAP case workers says she doesn't have to do anything and the worst is RCAP is backing her in the summary process to walk away with $8500.00 accumulation of rent due me as I write. RCAP are quick to enter into rental payment agreement for their annual reports numbers but ruin relationships with landlords forgetting soon no one will be comfortable taking anyone with section-8. BEWARE of your dealings with them.
