trinity riv: Been coming here since a kid! I watched the owners grow jst as much as they watched me grow up.. Almost 40 years! Great service absolutely amazing food! It's about time they retire!. Never seen anyone in the place except for husband and wife. Now kids are in the building which is great! I think they are finally trying to stay home and relax!. Yes u deserve it!. Since the kids have been there the food has tasted different. But the service has been excellent! But the quality has gone a bit down hill.. Almost as if the kids don't want to take over the family business!.

Euthanasia Dumbwaiter: Food tasted bland and seemed like it might have been reheated in microwave. Hostess/Waitress was extremely rude and passive aggressive. My aunt, while waiting to use the restroom, which was repulsively dirty, witnessed her rudely kick out and confront a potential customer for using the bathroom first, grilling her to see whether she was there to purchase anything as well. Afterwards saw said customer’s party she was with go to the bar and order a drink and ask where his date went, only to find out from another patron that crazy hostess lady had scared her off. Definitely gave me, my aunt, and the rest of our group bad vibes and they not only lost those two customers, but me and my extended family as well forever in the future. We left almost immediately after them because we felt uncomfortable, definitely not the atmosphere any of us want to to return to after everything being reopened again from the pandemic shutdowns. Also the bar was wayyyyy too bright, the lighting gave me and my aunt a headache. Those bright lights are meant for closing time, not chill and enjoy a beer 9:00pm on Saturday time. Last, but not least their dart boards were barely functional and service was incredibly slow. Probably because the only waitress was busy bullying the customers, but whose to really say I guess. I don’t think Chinese takeout and dive-y bars are the best choice of a fusion theme. Be takeout or be a bar, to try to do both is ambitiously tacky.

Asha Patel: The steamed dumplings are really good. The soy sauce mixture that comes with it is amazing. The Szechuan tofu was really good. We also got mapo tofu which was too spicy to eat. I have a high tolerance for spice (I'm Indian) and have had mapo tofu so many times and I love how spicy it is but this level of spice was not edible even for people who always eat spicy food. I felt like I was doing some kind of Caroline reaper challenge after I took one bite of it.

Their vegan "chicken" (Seitan) is an excellent texture and consistency. I like the variety of dishes they can make with their seitan and all the veggie combos/sauces. I ordered from them on DoorDash, but it's cheaper to go in and eat in-person. DoorDash raises the prices, obviously.

Ordered a pu-pu platter & it was served within minutes @ room temperature & was not fresh also ordered house rice which arrived 20min after the platter so not sure if the platter is prepared ahead of time vs prepared when ordered.Drinks were not refilled either & if you enjoy a very 'loud' atmosphere this may be the place for you (by loud I mean ppl swearing & arguing) some ppl don't mind it, me, not so much.

Ulyssess g: MUCH better now that it's under new ownership and management. The last owners drove my away from this place and previously the food wasn't really that good, now however the food is decent at least and staff is friendly. They do however tend to over charge you.... for example I went down to the location and picked up my food, yet they still charge a convenience fee? For what?

I used to love the food from here but since it’s the “New” Golden Dragon Restaurant the food was very disappointing. The Crab Rangoon filling tastes sweet ..too sweet. The lo mein is a little bit smoky in just the right way and you don't feel the usual sluggish-ness that other lo meins give you after you're done eating which is a plus!The beef teriyaki is pretty yummy I just don't have it in the pic for this order.We would order trays of crab rangoons from here for gatherings and guests would ask us where we ordered them from!

Diane Mikulski: After the sale of the original Golden Dragon Island , we were worried about where to get really good Chinese Food…..today we thought we would try the New Golden Dragon Island and ordered a PuPu Platter and Moo Shu Pork ….I know the PuPu Platter is really not considered “Chinese Food” but my husband loves it and he told me it was so great that he thought we should write a review! The Crab Rangoon was super special, with a wonderful filling with a little sweetness that made it more delicious! The breading on the Chicken Finger and Fried Shrimp was surprisingly, light and delish. The chicken was moist. Boneless Ribs were numerous and also good.My Moo Shu Pork was absolutely deliciously perfect. It comes with 6 pancakes and a side of white rice. To my surprise, the pancakes were light and held together wonderfully making wrapping the Moo Shu easy……I have gotten (at other restaurants) pancakes more like tortillas……not at the New Golden Dragon Island, really, they were perfect.We are glad we tried and look forward to trying other dishes !

Corinne Gutierrez: I had to pick a star to write a review. I am pretty sure they forgot to put the taste back into their food after the pandemic. I have never had such awful Chinese food in my life. Spring rolls just had dough and cabbage. The beef teriyaki was stringy and had a weird texture. To top it all off, I saw the cook scoop rice into a container then take some out with his bare hands.
