Behavioral Healthcare Services: what do users think?
Doaa Abed: I was very well taken care of at (Behavioral Healthcare Services).“Everyone was very nice, and it is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help. Caring, smiling and laughing is good atmosphere for patients. I will continue to come here.“I was very well taken care of.”The services that I receive from (Behavioral Healthcare Services) is excellent. Dr. (Bahnassi) and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends.Dr. (Bahnassi) is extremely professional: he takes time to listen and time to explain. A first rate professional experience. Completely satisfied with Dr. (Bahnassi) and all the support staff.Dr. (Bahnassi) and the entire staff at the Clinic are beyond amazing. They’re awesome.Highly recommendedSpecial thanks to Abdul,I sincerely appreciate the assistance.I will be forever grateful.
josh mutti: Avoid at all costs. This place makes your problems worse. They give everyone the same medication. I was also sent to the streets of Worcester on psych meds and almost died. If you don't have a plan DO NOT GO HERE if you have been sectioned DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO TO GET OUT OF THAT PLACE. it created mental problems for me instead of addressing them ofr solving them. These people do not care about you and section 2b staff are not qualified.
Penny Hill: Dr. Bahnassi and office staff Abdul are always very helpful and kind. Highly recommended
Shea american: The worst most absolutely terrible, communication skills and that is very valuable in healthcare, to claim yourself as a healthcare service would be a joke, you miss calls super easily, the phone will ring twice and the calls over before you can get to your phone, 2 rings during a phone call means somebody intentionally hung up, this has happened for months now, I’ve only been sticking around because I have no other options. A positive note, the man aka “Kevin Ordon” is an excellent and caring guy, always making sure to bless your days by giving you a warm and caring loving message before you continue on with ur day , and the right there is the only reason this business is still running, not might run smooth but it’s the best we got… sadly .
John Harper: I have had good results using this provider. I have never had any issues with them. Karin Raaberg really knows her stuff and deserves to be commended. The front desk is always helpful with scheduling follow up appointments. This location is somewhat far from where I live, but they are extremely helpful by allowing appointments to be conducted via telehealth.
Helen Aromando: I have escorted my son to this office for many years and the customer service is outstanding. It starts with Jala who welcomes you with a smile and is always willing to help make our experience comfortable.Abdul has a way of making miracles happen and he never fails with getting the meds on time or early. His warm and friendly nature is refreshing and appreciated. They go above and beyond in this office.
Karina Herrera: I had an emergency situation for which I needed a letter from my NP, Hadiza Abubakar. I was given a very narrow window of time to submit the letter. In was extremely distressed and not in my best mood. Hadiza was so patient and very understanding and Abdul went the extra mile staying past his working hours so that I could pick up the letter and submit it in time. This is what great care and service is all about.Thank you Hadiza and Abdul. You are both the best!
Jill K: I was not a fan at all. My NP did not take the time to listen to what I said and just kept prescribing new meds, made cracks about the things I was saying, was really negative and all about her. Office staff was rude and did not listen as well. Waited 45 minutes one time because they forgot to tell my NP I was there
Matthew Hanna: The Behavioral Healthcare Services staff has always gone above and beyond to assist with medication refills and following up with the doctor. The shining star of the team is Abdul, as he has consistently helped in getting requests resolved quickly while keeping the patient calm and at ease. Whether it is reaching out to the psychiatrist, helping to pass along pre-authorization requests, or helping to get an important refill completed before the weekend, he really does it all! He is courteous, patient, and passionate about his work. Anyone would be lucky to have him on their team as he is truly a valuable asset to the team at Behavioral Healthcare. Thank you for all you do!
bill Jones: Without reservation I highly recommend Kimberly Abdow.
Miss Maja Danae: Spoke with Barbara Bready for a few months then she just stopped calling me. I finally called to see what's up, they said they didnt have my insurance info and took it again (that means I was removed) then transferred me to new patient line where no one answered. I left a message with no response, and this was not the first voicemail I left. I called again and every option I push brings me back to the same recording. Very frustrating and unprofessional.
Vicki Tarbell: This place is terrible and truly evil. They "take away" a child's psychiatric medication to punish a parent for calling too many times (twice) in one day after not refilling it for an entire week. The office staff are just generally rude. There's even an obnoxious message on the refill line telling you not to call again.
Allison Savidge: There is absolutely ZERO chance of getting a human being on the phone. I cannot believe that this place has gone downhill exponentially in such a short period of time. The administration should be ashamed of themselves. Patient care is hardly discernable.
Tracy Lee Watkins: This organization has helped my family. Today they are helping me greatly. I appreciate Behavioral Health care and their doctors. Excellent services. Thank you.
Andrew Groleau: So I just got a letter from KEVIN NARDONE a fake doctor at BHS and I was told a can no longer be a patient because I used foul language after he was the rudest Disrespectful arrogant person I've ever met. He's all about taking you off meds you need to feel like a human or lying about putting you on meds that truly help you. I would not trust him to mow my lawn nevermind by my psychiatrist. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hospital completely. Every single person that works there is incompetent and if you read all the reviews here you can see multiple doctors are being complained about and management all the way up the latter are truly horrible and if your looking for real help you need to seek services elsewhere. On everything I love all they want is to charge your insurance and send you on your way! I've never seen a company so bad in my life and if you need real help you will not receive it here! STAY AWAY FROM HERE AND READ THE OTHER REVIEWS AS THEY HAVE A 2.5 RATING THATS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING FOR ANY COMPANY! PATIENT BEWARE!
Younis Mahdi: I have been going there for the last 5 years Dr.Bahnassi is the best and Abdul the office manager is very helpful
Memo Memo: The service is good and fast responsive, the manger of the security and the security are very responsive and respectful. Thank you 😊
Molly Sweet: Do not trust this place with your mental health. I go here solely for medication management and my doctor never refills my medication on time, therefore causing me to have awful withdrawal symptoms. My medication has been empty since last week and i’ve called numerous times and spoken with the Prescription Department who have sent multiple messages to my doctor that have simply been ignored. I ended up having to get an emergency 2- day supply from the pharmacy because i figured that would be more than enough time for my doctor to get back to me. Dr. Yveda Brutus still has not refilled my medication and I ended up having to contact my PCP for a one-time refill of my medication. Thankfully my PCP allowed this, but i will be searching for a new psychiatrist ASAP. I even tried to search my Doctor on google to see if there was another phone number to reach her at, but all i got were results for her public Facebook page where she is posting pictures of herself saying “feeling great! hard work pays off” on the same day i was literally uncontrollably crying and withdrawing from my medications that she refuses to fill. Please do not put your mental health in the hands of Behavioral Healthcare Services or Dr. Yveda Brutus as they simply do not care about you.
PraTeeK TriPathi: worst services.. you can't have your medications refills and your requests processed on time .....
Jeffrey Raymond: Great practice, a fella by the name of Abdul was very helpful!

UMass Memorial Medical Center: Emergency Mental Health Services: what do users think?
brianna Barnes: My husband was in the er from Sunday night to Monday night and at least they transferred him to get recovery which was what he needed.
Hamster x Loves: Kms
kaylynn strafello: terrible staff. ive been to pediatric emh 4 times. staff was nice but i was assaulted by a patient in my sleep and they didn't do anything. they let a kid run wild slapping everyone. in the morning a boy would run into my room and touch me inappropriately. i repeat if you need a psych evaluation go to the next nearest hospital.
Ara Surabian: I make a trip last summer by ambulance to stepOn a scale and to be asked if I ever used codeine.
strawbbcow: Went here after an overdose. Completely terrible. Staff were cold, and kept telling my mom and I that they were the professionals and we had no idea what we were talking about. Refused to let me sleep off side effects and kept constantly waking me up. Hardly listened at all. Absolutely terrible.
Cynthia: If I could give no stars I would. Went there twice. They evaluated me and just kicked me to the curb and set me up with a partial hospitalization program all the way out in Marlborough that wouldn't take me for 6 days! They would not even give me the meds I ran out of they told me I just had to deal with the withdrawals. I was a MESS, not eating, drinking or sleeping, showering or getting dressed because of my severe anxiety, racing thoughts and depression. I was throwing up all the time. They didn’t care at all. I ended up so bad I was taking any medication in my house that would help me calm down. Well I ended up ODing and passing out. I went to the regular ER not the mental health ER and they had no problem giving me enough of my medication to get me by until I start the partial hospitalization program. The regular ER actually helped me, it took 5 hours but they helped. The mental health group wanted NOTHING to do with me. They are useless and don’t care at all.
Lynda Murphy: immediate attention and evaluation of our son

UMass Memorial Medical Center - Emergency Mental Health Services: what do users think?
shaizee valentin: I waited 3 hours. Couldn’t wait anymore had to leave. The room just kept getting more and more crowded. It was weird. I know I’m in a funk. Hence why I went. But it’s like no one works there or something.
Tia Powers: The emergency room staff here is GHETTO. They get mad when patirnts come in, crying, sick, in pain etc. Because they rather socialize with each other. Then a patient comes in, they wait at the window until the Convo is done, and then the patient gets treated with no respect & talked down to. Never mind the 5 hours wait.
Alejandra Ramos: I was waiting with my 19-month-old son to close an eyebrow wound for 2 hours and the doctor never arrived and then the secretary told me that there were no doctors because they were with other patients more serious than my son. So, we had to go.
Sheila Hokanson: I have been to Memorial Hospital ER 2 times in the past 6 months and was met with very professional by both the nurses and the doctors. I went in with a cracked rib and Dr. Janine Gould treated me with concern and respect for all the pain I was in and I was on my way to heal. I was just in a few weeks ago with low blood pressure and a cough I could not control and was treated by Dr. Amit Kumar. Again very professional and pleasant to work with I can only say that I have never had bad service from Memorial ER department and would go there first before any place else.
Mara Hernandez: Worse service ever. They let me waiting for 3 hours

Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital: what do users think?
Rhonda Latney: I was illegally confined at the hospital to cover up the elder abuse, frauds and scams of James Voltz in Springfield MA, Special Victims Unit, District Attorney's Office, and corrupt Judges.
Donna Hagopian: A total nightmare.
sophie mitchell: Most traumatic experience of my entire life. So much psychical violence occurred between patients. Staff does a poor job keeping us safe from threats but I imagine they are severely numb and traumatized from working on that unit as well.
Kayla R: Negligent and abusive - will pump your loved ones full of medications until you barely recognize them. They are fed prison food and patients suffer from allergic reactions when they're served food that's deadly to them.
Andrew Soske: I think it must be going on ten years since I was at Worcester State Hospital. I didn’t have a good time and do not remember much of the experience though the shock and awe campaign and culture they have and create for their clients can leave you ( later on down the road ) in a better place than you might have otherwise been.I cannot help, however, recalling Ivan Illich’s words, “That the true nature of medicine is diabolical in that it makes entire populations survive on inhumanely low levels of health.”Frankly, though, you could find the same in any oncology ward, ward for MS, ALS, dementia, Parkinson’s, dialysis, and on and on. Serious illness and having severe symptoms require treatment and sometimes ( I am sure ) it is hard to know what to do.Good luck!
Pamela Bouchard Clark: I went there to visit a family member staff was very kind informative too
James Hall: Terrible management, lack of safety for workers. Don’t work there.
King Dallas: Everything here is terrible! The staff here aren't even that good and the food here is awful!
Julie Gragg: I visited a patient and the staff is not only mean to him but to me as well. Very unprofessional and I have no idea how people with no heart are allowed to care for people who are already going through such a difficult time. Stay away from Sarah on Unit B4 if you have to go there at all!
Gaby Altamore: One of the worst hospital experiences of my life. I stayed on one of the adolescent units and it was awful. Neglectful and borderline emotionally abusive staff. Super unprofessional too. I would hear them gossiping about clients, one showed me a video on their phone which shouldn’t have even been out, of them vaping with another staff. One took calls for other jobs while watching the kids during his shift. The staff were also very invalidating and cold at times. Client atmosphere was just as bad, I was bullied a lot and the staff didn’t do much. Lots of gossiping and talking bad about one another, constant threats to hurt one another, it always felt very hostile. The tension on the unit was often so thick you could cut through it. Overall a horrible place for any mentally ill kid to stay, let alone if you’re trying to heal. The atmosphere is very detrimental to recovery.
Wes Walsh: Almost died of anorexia here. As punishment for not eating my doctors refused to let me see my therapist, put me on a one-to-one watch, and restricted me to my room for three straight months. I was sent out to the UMass Memorial ER so many times for fainting or dehydration UMass finally admitted me for refeeding when I had a BMI of 11. The staff are indifferent at best, cruel at worst. Two separate patients hit me while I was here but you can't really blame them since they were psychotic and not receiving any care. It's a glorified prison masquerading as a "recovery center" because most of its patients are too ill to be taken seriously. Do anything you can to prevent a loved one from getting committed here.
Holly Davenport: Its bad cause there's no telling if nurse will infect you with disease till after damage is done
Lauren L: Please call before you go!Visits must now be scheduled in advance. Restrictions on allowed items has become fanatical and the culture of the administration is just weird. Unfriendly and paranoid. If your loved one is in a psych hospital you already have enough problems. Employees should treat loved ones well. You are a team. I hope they get their heads out of their...
Crystal Chartier: 3 months agoFood isnt the greatest. Most staff are nice minus the few waiting to attack. Beds are not comfy. Showers suck.
Mathew Nalepinski: The staff is very unfamiliar with the term recovery... The staff is rude.. impatient... Not very helpful with anyone's concerns but their own. Sucks they blow all this money to make a nice center and then staff it with people that arent built for the job.
Rahjah Brooker: hi i'm rahjah when i was here people treated me badly. they hurt me.and gave me shots for no reason.
William Monteiro: Visit on snow
Veronica Melanson: Recovery nothing it is a huge lie people stay there longer than they should ,you'll have years trap in a jail place with limited time to the courtyard over medicated on 10 pills + a monthly injection they will force the medication on you they will force a rogers order on you sleeping on benches and making the kiosk rich you will be out of there a million times worse than when you first arrived they don't care about your side effects and difficulty breathing your daily vomiting . Don't hide this post tell people the truth the pharmaceutical have a perpetual customer that gets muchworse with the medication to no return I will close this horrible hospital money makers scammers of the state abusers murders you think people want to be in SSI disability for the rest of their life? stop creating dependency on medications that never worked.
Matt Blake: This place is a really nice hospital. The units are huge, the patients can roam around freely in the units and downstairs to the "Downtown" common area. Granted everyone in the area are talking to themselves and extremely sedated and to get anywhere you walk through about five locked doors, the care is really good. If your loved ones can't function on the outside they are safe in this place. Also the nurse that escorted me out of the unit and building (B3) was very nice and she was good looking as hell lol. Obviously no one wants to get sent to such a secure building but if your going to spend a few years/forever there, you'll be taken care of if you can't function in the real world. Only complaint I have was the women answering the phones seemed so burnt out from probably always repeating herself.
Lost_Places _Global: How cruel of the government to destroy most of these historical buildings.
Kevin McNamara: They saved my wife after going through every other terrible facility in the system. Thank God for them

South Bay Community Services: what do users think?
Bill Coyle: If you enjoy getting a new therapist every few months because of the extremely high turnover rate here then this is the place for you!!! One of my therapist forged my signature on treatment notes. That is notes, plural. Little to to medication management. Total incompetence on behalf of the clinic director. They recently had to pay a $25 million settlement with the Mass State Attorney General for defrauding Medicaid by billing Masshealth for mental health care services provided to patients by unlicensed, unqualified and improperly supervised staff members. The investigation allegedly revealed that the company had a widespread pattern of employing unlicensed, unqualified, and unsupervised staff at its mental health facilities.
Heather Pierce: To be fair, my experience here was several years ago (late 2010) I definitely feel it did have room for improvement. Hopefully they've made some positive changes since then? Some clinicians were experienced & helpful, but others were not very professional or friendly. I had a better overall experience with Adcare to be honest.
Lori (LORILEI): I would leave no stars if possible! My daughter’s home mentor threatened her with mobile crisis if she didn’t go out and do activities with her in the community. Also in home therapy, the therapist made a joke about a potential fight that might daughter might get into at her new middle school. She went on and called it a “jihad”! Being that we are a Muslim family I was horrified by this company and who they were hiring. If possible try to look into Franciscan in Brighton Ma if your child needs inpatient services.
Beth Ruiz: Great Therapist avaliable. There are stages to therapy willingness to be vonerable and honest with yourself is very tough but with a commitment to trying your best and the right therapist for you thete is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Brittany Jade: The girl who answers the phone is very rude every time you call I’m surprised they still get clients , and furthermore your appt is suppose to be a half hour I get 10 minutes if lucky never again will I do services with this company
Asher Humrich: Excellent intake program, good resources for low income folks as well as many different treatment plans and options for those seeking therapy and medication management
leigh roe: They saved my life
Kristen Skerry: My spouse came here specifically for a medicine referral, was told she would receive that quickly and instead was given THE WORST therapist who took 3 months to do the intake process, he didn't finish that process and then decided to leave the practice all while giving her the runaround every time she asked to see a med doctor. He kept promising she would see one before she ran out of meds. Finally, she called his supervisor for help, was told she missed too many appointments which she missed because he made her uncomfortable and his incompetence and unwillingness to help her made her anxiety worse and was denied seeing a med doctor altogether by the supervisor until she could regularly attend sessions. She's in nursing school, has 2 jobs, a disabled wife and was made promises by these swindlers. I am appalled, disgusted and can't believe this place gets any clients at all. I highly recommend seeking care elsewhere because you won't find it here. They don't care about their patients and hire individuals who aren't fit to flip burgers let alone delve into the issues of mental health. Now my spouse will be without meds after 3 months of consistently asking for them and being told everything would be okay. Well, it's not.
Mary Lynch: Bad service..

Care4Us Wellness Center Worcester MA: what do users think?
Sara C: I've been going to John for a few years now and he's been very receptive and follows up often. He helps me with my anxiety and insomnia/night terrors. The medications he has currently prescribed me have been working and I'm satisfied with his service.
emily begonis: !!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!I have never been so frustrated in my whole life as I have been with these people. Having to pay a lot of money out of pocket towards an insurance deductible can be very challenging and this office doesn’t seem to care about that. Every 90 days I need my scripts refilled and they require that I have a telehealth appointment in order to get that which lasts two minutes and consists of them asking how I’m doing and I say the same and they say ok here’s your meds. Well now I’m on new insurance so this last appointment was $200 and they wouldn’t bill me for it they made me pay it in full before my appointment so now I have to pay $200 every 90 days for a 2 minute telehealth appointment or they refuseTo give me my meds. It’s WRONG. I’m going elsewhere immediately.
Dee Ginese: Dr. John Job is careless and incompetent.
Sarah Benatti: I honestly can not explain how thankful I am that I found Care4Us wellness specifically my practitioner Kelechi Job. She legitimately cares about her patients and consistently goes above and beyond regarding their care. It can be so difficult living with anxiety and depression and her obvious dedication and kindness makes such a difference. I recommend Care4Us Wellness center to anyone who is looking for a competent, caring practice.Honestly you won't find better care.
JT Mag: Jon is an excellent provider, and the staff is friendly, and efficient.
Kara: I have been seen here for over a year now and have experienced fantastic service every time. My practitioner, Kelechi Job, has been great at helping me find an appropriate medicinal regimen for my Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression. Right now, for COVID, they are doing telehealth appointments which have worked great. It is always easy to get ahold of their office and they return my calls very quickly. I appreciate the clear care they show for each patient and the dedication they have to their work. Definitely a great choice in the Worcester area!
Dianne Joseph: I wish there were 10 stars and I'd give Care4Us all of them! Dr. Job is such a kind and caring man. He really knows what to do to help. I've never felt better in my life than I do now that I've had his assistance. . Thank you, Dr. Job, for all you do!!
Michelle Brunell: This place was great until they called me and informed me they were dropping me as a client basically leaving me stranded with out a doctor. The reason being is they werent getting paid by my health insurance. They seemed to forget the hours I put in for them making calls to the insurance company for them. They said that they couldnt be bothered to make calls to my insurance co. The fact is they are using the wrong information when they submit to the insurance company. The insurance co told them the info they are sending is wrong. I told them it was wrong per the insurance co. So basically they dont want to work with my insurance co to straighten out what their doing wrong. So they feel it's easier to dump me as a client.
Rebecca Wuoti: They are the BEST!! I had transferred to them after many years with the same doctor (recently retired) so this is a huge change for me. They are very understanding and they don't judge you the second you walk in. They ROCK! 10 stars :)
