Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital - Mental Health Department: what do users think?
Rhonda Latney: I was illegally confined at the hospital to cover up the elder abuse, frauds and scams of James Voltz in Springfield MA, Special Victims Unit, District Attorney's Office, and corrupt Judges.
Donna Hagopian: A total nightmare.
sophie mitchell: Most traumatic experience of my entire life. So much psychical violence occurred between patients. Staff does a poor job keeping us safe from threats but I imagine they are severely numb and traumatized from working on that unit as well.
Kayla R: Negligent and abusive - will pump your loved ones full of medications until you barely recognize them. They are fed prison food and patients suffer from allergic reactions when they're served food that's deadly to them.
Andrew Soske: I think it must be going on ten years since I was at Worcester State Hospital. I didn’t have a good time and do not remember much of the experience though the shock and awe campaign and culture they have and create for their clients can leave you ( later on down the road ) in a better place than you might have otherwise been.I cannot help, however, recalling Ivan Illich’s words, “That the true nature of medicine is diabolical in that it makes entire populations survive on inhumanely low levels of health.”Frankly, though, you could find the same in any oncology ward, ward for MS, ALS, dementia, Parkinson’s, dialysis, and on and on. Serious illness and having severe symptoms require treatment and sometimes ( I am sure ) it is hard to know what to do.Good luck!
Pamela Bouchard Clark: I went there to visit a family member staff was very kind informative too
James Hall: Terrible management, lack of safety for workers. Don’t work there.
King Dallas: Everything here is terrible! The staff here aren't even that good and the food here is awful!
Julie Gragg: I visited a patient and the staff is not only mean to him but to me as well. Very unprofessional and I have no idea how people with no heart are allowed to care for people who are already going through such a difficult time. Stay away from Sarah on Unit B4 if you have to go there at all!
Gaby Altamore: One of the worst hospital experiences of my life. I stayed on one of the adolescent units and it was awful. Neglectful and borderline emotionally abusive staff. Super unprofessional too. I would hear them gossiping about clients, one showed me a video on their phone which shouldn’t have even been out, of them vaping with another staff. One took calls for other jobs while watching the kids during his shift. The staff were also very invalidating and cold at times. Client atmosphere was just as bad, I was bullied a lot and the staff didn’t do much. Lots of gossiping and talking bad about one another, constant threats to hurt one another, it always felt very hostile. The tension on the unit was often so thick you could cut through it. Overall a horrible place for any mentally ill kid to stay, let alone if you’re trying to heal. The atmosphere is very detrimental to recovery.
Wes Walsh: Almost died of anorexia here. As punishment for not eating my doctors refused to let me see my therapist, put me on a one-to-one watch, and restricted me to my room for three straight months. I was sent out to the UMass Memorial ER so many times for fainting or dehydration UMass finally admitted me for refeeding when I had a BMI of 11. The staff are indifferent at best, cruel at worst. Two separate patients hit me while I was here but you can't really blame them since they were psychotic and not receiving any care. It's a glorified prison masquerading as a "recovery center" because most of its patients are too ill to be taken seriously. Do anything you can to prevent a loved one from getting committed here.
Holly Davenport: Its bad cause there's no telling if nurse will infect you with disease till after damage is done
Lauren L: Please call before you go!Visits must now be scheduled in advance. Restrictions on allowed items has become fanatical and the culture of the administration is just weird. Unfriendly and paranoid. If your loved one is in a psych hospital you already have enough problems. Employees should treat loved ones well. You are a team. I hope they get their heads out of their...
Crystal Chartier: 3 months agoFood isnt the greatest. Most staff are nice minus the few waiting to attack. Beds are not comfy. Showers suck.
Mathew Nalepinski: The staff is very unfamiliar with the term recovery... The staff is rude.. impatient... Not very helpful with anyone's concerns but their own. Sucks they blow all this money to make a nice center and then staff it with people that arent built for the job.
Rahjah Brooker: hi i'm rahjah when i was here people treated me badly. they hurt me.and gave me shots for no reason.
William Monteiro: Visit on snow
Veronica Melanson: Recovery nothing it is a huge lie people stay there longer than they should ,you'll have years trap in a jail place with limited time to the courtyard over medicated on 10 pills + a monthly injection they will force the medication on you they will force a rogers order on you sleeping on benches and making the kiosk rich you will be out of there a million times worse than when you first arrived they don't care about your side effects and difficulty breathing your daily vomiting . Don't hide this post tell people the truth the pharmaceutical have a perpetual customer that gets muchworse with the medication to no return I will close this horrible hospital money makers scammers of the state abusers murders you think people want to be in SSI disability for the rest of their life? stop creating dependency on medications that never worked.
Matt Blake: This place is a really nice hospital. The units are huge, the patients can roam around freely in the units and downstairs to the "Downtown" common area. Granted everyone in the area are talking to themselves and extremely sedated and to get anywhere you walk through about five locked doors, the care is really good. If your loved ones can't function on the outside they are safe in this place. Also the nurse that escorted me out of the unit and building (B3) was very nice and she was good looking as hell lol. Obviously no one wants to get sent to such a secure building but if your going to spend a few years/forever there, you'll be taken care of if you can't function in the real world. Only complaint I have was the women answering the phones seemed so burnt out from probably always repeating herself.
Lost_Places _Global: How cruel of the government to destroy most of these historical buildings.
Kevin McNamara: They saved my wife after going through every other terrible facility in the system. Thank God for them

Psychiatric Treatment and Recovery Center: what do users think?
Missy jean: the staff is very rude and the place is not that clean. and im always having a problem with getting my medicine every month
Jover: Horrible staff and service, is Jesus Christ mentally ill or unstable because he said that most people lead to destruction in the Bible in Matthew 7 13, and Luke 13 21, how judgemental and ununderstanding the staff are.
brianna Barnes: I’m glad they are doing a fabulous job with my husbands recovery and treatment here. The staff and nurses are pretty friendly. Saw my husband Sunday and he is looking better and better every day!
Dreamer Girl: The place is nice but some of the staff were horrible. They messed up my meds, that didnt really take their job seriously, and I felt like they were pushing me out without trying to fix the problem, that I went there for. Plus to make it worse I told them I get seizures, so when I did get my seizures. The first four none of the staff realized/cared. It was only the fifth one, which I was standing when I got, that anyone paid attention too. Now I have a concussion. Long story short just avoid this place if you can.

UMass Memorial Medical Center: Emergency Mental Health Services: what do users think?
brianna Barnes: My husband was in the er from Sunday night to Monday night and at least they transferred him to get recovery which was what he needed.
Hamster x Loves: Kms
kaylynn strafello: terrible staff. ive been to pediatric emh 4 times. staff was nice but i was assaulted by a patient in my sleep and they didn't do anything. they let a kid run wild slapping everyone. in the morning a boy would run into my room and touch me inappropriately. i repeat if you need a psych evaluation go to the next nearest hospital.
Ara Surabian: I make a trip last summer by ambulance to stepOn a scale and to be asked if I ever used codeine.
strawbbcow: Went here after an overdose. Completely terrible. Staff were cold, and kept telling my mom and I that they were the professionals and we had no idea what we were talking about. Refused to let me sleep off side effects and kept constantly waking me up. Hardly listened at all. Absolutely terrible.
Cynthia: If I could give no stars I would. Went there twice. They evaluated me and just kicked me to the curb and set me up with a partial hospitalization program all the way out in Marlborough that wouldn't take me for 6 days! They would not even give me the meds I ran out of they told me I just had to deal with the withdrawals. I was a MESS, not eating, drinking or sleeping, showering or getting dressed because of my severe anxiety, racing thoughts and depression. I was throwing up all the time. They didn’t care at all. I ended up so bad I was taking any medication in my house that would help me calm down. Well I ended up ODing and passing out. I went to the regular ER not the mental health ER and they had no problem giving me enough of my medication to get me by until I start the partial hospitalization program. The regular ER actually helped me, it took 5 hours but they helped. The mental health group wanted NOTHING to do with me. They are useless and don’t care at all.
Lynda Murphy: immediate attention and evaluation of our son

shaizee valentin: I waited 3 hours. Couldn’t wait anymore had to leave. The room just kept getting more and more crowded. It was weird. I know I’m in a funk. Hence why I went. But it’s like no one works there or something.
Tia Powers: The emergency room staff here is GHETTO. They get mad when patirnts come in, crying, sick, in pain etc. Because they rather socialize with each other. Then a patient comes in, they wait at the window until the Convo is done, and then the patient gets treated with no respect & talked down to. Never mind the 5 hours wait.
Alejandra Ramos: I was waiting with my 19-month-old son to close an eyebrow wound for 2 hours and the doctor never arrived and then the secretary told me that there were no doctors because they were with other patients more serious than my son. So, we had to go.
Sheila Hokanson: I have been to Memorial Hospital ER 2 times in the past 6 months and was met with very professional by both the nurses and the doctors. I went in with a cracked rib and Dr. Janine Gould treated me with concern and respect for all the pain I was in and I was on my way to heal. I was just in a few weeks ago with low blood pressure and a cough I could not control and was treated by Dr. Amit Kumar. Again very professional and pleasant to work with I can only say that I have never had bad service from Memorial ER department and would go there first before any place else.
Mara Hernandez: Worse service ever. They let me waiting for 3 hours

Care4Us Wellness Center Worcester MA: what do users think?
Sara C: I've been going to John for a few years now and he's been very receptive and follows up often. He helps me with my anxiety and insomnia/night terrors. The medications he has currently prescribed me have been working and I'm satisfied with his service.
emily begonis: !!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!I have never been so frustrated in my whole life as I have been with these people. Having to pay a lot of money out of pocket towards an insurance deductible can be very challenging and this office doesn’t seem to care about that. Every 90 days I need my scripts refilled and they require that I have a telehealth appointment in order to get that which lasts two minutes and consists of them asking how I’m doing and I say the same and they say ok here’s your meds. Well now I’m on new insurance so this last appointment was $200 and they wouldn’t bill me for it they made me pay it in full before my appointment so now I have to pay $200 every 90 days for a 2 minute telehealth appointment or they refuseTo give me my meds. It’s WRONG. I’m going elsewhere immediately.
Dee Ginese: Dr. John Job is careless and incompetent.
Sarah Benatti: I honestly can not explain how thankful I am that I found Care4Us wellness specifically my practitioner Kelechi Job. She legitimately cares about her patients and consistently goes above and beyond regarding their care. It can be so difficult living with anxiety and depression and her obvious dedication and kindness makes such a difference. I recommend Care4Us Wellness center to anyone who is looking for a competent, caring practice.Honestly you won't find better care.
JT Mag: Jon is an excellent provider, and the staff is friendly, and efficient.
Kara: I have been seen here for over a year now and have experienced fantastic service every time. My practitioner, Kelechi Job, has been great at helping me find an appropriate medicinal regimen for my Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression. Right now, for COVID, they are doing telehealth appointments which have worked great. It is always easy to get ahold of their office and they return my calls very quickly. I appreciate the clear care they show for each patient and the dedication they have to their work. Definitely a great choice in the Worcester area!
Dianne Joseph: I wish there were 10 stars and I'd give Care4Us all of them! Dr. Job is such a kind and caring man. He really knows what to do to help. I've never felt better in my life than I do now that I've had his assistance. . Thank you, Dr. Job, for all you do!!
Michelle Brunell: This place was great until they called me and informed me they were dropping me as a client basically leaving me stranded with out a doctor. The reason being is they werent getting paid by my health insurance. They seemed to forget the hours I put in for them making calls to the insurance company for them. They said that they couldnt be bothered to make calls to my insurance co. The fact is they are using the wrong information when they submit to the insurance company. The insurance co told them the info they are sending is wrong. I told them it was wrong per the insurance co. So basically they dont want to work with my insurance co to straighten out what their doing wrong. So they feel it's easier to dump me as a client.
Rebecca Wuoti: They are the BEST!! I had transferred to them after many years with the same doctor (recently retired) so this is a huge change for me. They are very understanding and they don't judge you the second you walk in. They ROCK! 10 stars :)
