Days Inn by Wyndham Shrewsbury Worcester: what do users think?
Frank Privitera: Come on over, don't be scared off by the negative reviews, they are not truthful, and I suspect they are imposters, my guess, the competition playing dirty, this place is basic but no complaints, hot shower very large room, quiet and clean microwave, fridge and heater. Morning staff gentleman was just that, and the afternoon young man was also polite and both explained directions to the room or other information with out being prompted. You can bring your family here, house keeping staff will greet you with a good morning, and a hot breakfast too.Safety: Well lit parking lot and night staff on duty. Interior lock on door, prevents entry even with a key.
Joscar Feliz: Great overall, breakfast until 9am with options to choose. Definitely would visit again.Rooms: Staff was helpful and diligent. Rooms easy to find, clean and comfy.
Mario Gramo: Anthony is the man!! Helped my girl and I check in had a good talk with him definitely recommend to go to him when y’all reserve hereRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Ann Malinowski: Horrible, Disgusting, Filthy. Got refund and left immediately. Pictures on web are not the of the rooms. Go anywhere else.

Alicia Paynter: This was the worst experience I have ever had with hotels. Upon check-in, front desk charged me $10 extra for a double queen room. When I got to my room I killed three roaches and I was in there for a total of 5 minutes before I realized there was an infestation. One roach by the door, another by the microwave and one other by the tv. We moved rooms and there were issues with both the phone and tv and had to keep going downstairs to speak with the night staff. I also found blood stains on the top cover. Understandably, this is a budget hotel but I have never seen anything like this. I was obliged to stay a full night, as I travelled with my elderly father and it was too late/cold out but I cancelled the following night. Staff was not helpful and refused to issue me a refund for all that transpired. I’ve been coming here on and off for some time and am also a loyalty member. I am mortified at the quality of the premises and it’s staff’s regard.
Robert DelBuono: You really get what you pay for. This place was disgusting. Furniture is outdated and worn. TV constantly didn’t work and had error message. Bathroom showers had black mold and stains on the tub. I actually came out of my shower to see a mouse on my bed! Do not go to this place unless you are in desperate need of a cheap bed.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Joseph Carr: rachel the general manager did not respond to the note that the front desk left for her reguarding my stay. there was a cockroach in my room and the front desk would not let me switch rooms. after asking the following morning what they could do about it, and why i couldent just switch rooms that night. rachel gave me attitude and said she could possibly give me a slight discount off my next stay. i will not be coming back to a days inn
Tyler Ruggiero: Definitely not what the reviews described. I was more than happy with the service. Room was actually huge. Definitely worth the rate I paid for the week. Staff was awesome and extremely helpful. Not 1 complaint. I stayed 7 days.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Scott Kalvinek: We chose this hotel knowing it was a 2 star hotel with blemished ratings. To our surprise our room was immaculate. Now it wasn't new and shiny but it was clean. Not one bug was found. The staff was exceptionally awesome. one worker stood out more than any other. Micheal was the type of worker you definitely want to deal with. 1st night the fridge was dying so within 5 minutes here he comes carrying in a new one for us.Breakfast was on the better side for a grab-n-go Otis Spudnucker (spelled wrong) muffins oatmeal, cereal and always a hot coffee and juice. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed a week and no issues what-so-ever. so If your looking for a stopover or a longer stay give them a try. like I said its not the Ritz and all shiny and new this isn't the place but if you want quality and a staff willing to try and help this is the place.
darshit patel: Stay was amazing, Front desk was very friendly especially one of the guy Michael. Overall satisfactory!
Elizabeth Conley: This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s smelly, dirty, and extremely loud. There was a party going on until 2 am above us. The cops were out in the hallway kicking disruptive guests out but it was still loud most of the night. We were woken up at 6am by a domestic violence dispute that continued until 7 am when we left with our kids. We did not feel safe staying here at all, there are always people loitering around in the lobby and outside the property. Everything was filthy, we couldn’t wait to get out of there. We left early and just lost out on what we paid because we couldn’t stay there any longer.
Dawn Allred: Google maps says "you are here" about 1/4 mile before you actually get to the hotel. Otherwise just your basic hotel room, no frills. Excellent night front desk staff!!Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Laura B: Old, dirty, smelly and very uncomfortable. The pictures you post are so inaccurate. This was the worst place my husband and I have ever stayed in. If we could have found another hotel we would have left. The entire facility was extremely dirty, smelly and very run down. The bed had no box spring and was very small and uncomfortable. How can you charge $240 for such a dump? very poor representation of a Days Inn!
Chris Mulcahy: Last minute last choice. I Waited too long to get off the road. Unidentified smear on the wall. Mildew and mold. Best idea for this place would be to simply put a full size bed in the middle of the room and just keep that clean for any future guests. Maybe offer a few clean pop up tents in the front yard.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5 …More

Ryan Gosselin: Overcharged, and we didnt even stay the whole night due to the terrible conditon this hotel is in. All the hallways smell terrible and the rooms were not clean. Stains on the bed, walls etc. Dried blood in the tub. Front desk lady was extremely rude as well. How they are in business is beyond me. Stay away at all costs.
Tommie Dunn Concrete: Staff was friendly and helpfulRooms: Where properly clean and stockedSafety: No one was loitering around the property witch made me even saferFood & drinks: Plenty of food and drinks for the familyNoteworthy details: There was always someone there to answer any questions that you may have had
William Brissette: Deplorable. The sheets were stained, covered in black specks, stains all over the carpets and chairs and the halls and rooms reeked of some mix of cigarette and sweat. I couldn’t stay longer or I’m sure more things would have come to light. The staff was helpful with my cancellation and honest about the overall condition of the building.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5 …More
Fernandes de Mendonca: 1Start, the front desk has horrible attitude towards customers, the place is a junk and smells horrible mixed of dirty feet, expired food and something else, the room conditions is unbelievable and they still have the capacity of charge $100 for the incidentals? I just requested my cancelation right after I saw the room and I left right away. Please don't waist your time coming to this place . It's not worthy of even try for one night.Rooms: Horrible, dirty, bad smelling like garbage ?Nearby activities: Not stay more than 10 minutes to see anythingSafety: Apparently at allWalkability: Disappoint me how trashy is this placeFood & drinks: ?Noteworthy details: Don't stay at this place. It's a waist time.
Ramon Parchment: Do not go there!!My mom's experience at the Quality Inn fell below my expectations. My mom's stay was marred by several issues that made for an uncomfortable and unsafe visit.Firstly, the presence of homeless individuals outside the lobby entrance was a cause for concern. Not only was it an unwelcoming sight, but it also posed a potential safety hazard.Furthermore, my double queen room could have been better. It was not clean and lacked proper maintenance, leaving a less-than-desirable odor in the air. The towels provided were also dirty, which is unacceptable for a hotel. The most concerning aspect of my stay occurred in the bathroom. The shower rod was not properly secured, and unfortunately, it fell and hit my aunt, resulting in a distressing incident. Despite reporting the matter to the management, they did not provide any incident report or seem to take it seriously.Overall, I would not recommend staying at the Quality Inn, especially if it is the only option available. In such a case, it may be better to sleep in your car or consider rescheduling your trip. The issues I encountered during my stay made for a disappointing and even dangerous experience.
Barbara Loux: There was a rodent trap right near head of bed, the pillows were dirty, there were bugs in the bread at breakfast, they kept my 50.00 incidental fee and kept insisting they returned it. When I called to work this out, they fought with me and then hung up on me. I do not recommend this hotel!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Charles Lewis: This place is a DUMP....LITERALLY. There was trash dumped in the grass around the landscaping that was visible. The furniture in the rooms were not only old..but some had stains all over them. Im talking ripped upholstery...holes in the walls...stains on the blankets. I had a room with a double bed and one of the beds appeared to be recently slept in. The other bed was ok... I guess. Walking in the front lobby you will be thinking..ok...not bad. But after you get your room key it's like walking into the "upside down" on stranger things. As a black traveler...im used to being given a less than optimal room intially..so my wife are always prepared to ask for a better room. So we did. The second room was worse. It was 10 pm...we stayed. Made the best of it. But if you can avoid IT. Don't STAy HERe. I paid over 100 bucks for this nightmare of a room. It should be illegal for them to charge that much. If this room were 50 bucks...I would have saved my thumb strength and said "you get what you pay for"...but for 100!? Nah
Glenn Gravlin: I was personally very disappointed in my experience. The staff were not helpful. I was argued with and disrespected. My room was cold and dirty. There were holes in the carpet and burns on every surface. I asked to be relocated after one night. No one even spoke to me when I checked out. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Amanda Duarte: Woman at the front desk was very rude and ignorant and when I asked her her name she said it was non of my business the worst unprofessional service I received ever in my life the need new management I will never go back or recommend anyone ever...place should be shut down until under new managementRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Christine L: Place was dirty, the couch mattress was dirty, and had spring popping out. Staff was great and professional. Location was something to be desired. Think there were permanent residents.Food & drinks: Offered very little. Oatmeal was available but no milk to add.
Susan Polimeni: Most horrible place to stay. Reaked of smoke, blood on the walls, and haven for displaced people. I have never been so thankful to get out of a hotel in Mt life. Didn't feel safe staying there
M.S. Salaam Imani-Romain: There is no quality here! The room was horrible! My family and I had clean the room in order to sleep. There was stale smell of smoke, fruit flies everywhere, dirty sheets, cobwebs, and etc... Just from what we experienced there is no way (as a Diamond member) I would ever return. The manager's attitude is deplorable and his rudeness to my wife almost made me flip out. I will be addressing this on a deeper level. Unacceptable!!!
John Stack: I stayed in room 235 and had bedbugs. They would not refund my money if I had a pocket expenses. They refunded me and remove money but I brought the bedbugs home with me and I had to clean my house and my bed. They would not pay me horrible management.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Shaylyn Senier: Funny, for a hotel that has the word “quality” in it, you’d think it would be decent. No. There’s zero quality. We stayed here last week as a place just to spend the night because we went to a wedding near by. Rooms looked decent online and figured it’d be fine! Wrong. If lung cancer had a smell, this hotel would be it. Think nursing home combined a boat load of marb reds. Rooms weren’t clean, bathrooms didn’t even have toilet paper. Not to mention, the place is a dumping ground for all the junkies sauntering around from the outpatient treatment center next door. Super unsettling. Don’t stay here.
Julia Fokina: The hotel was destroyed during being shelter for homeless people. Most of them are still there. The territory around the hotel is dark. Lights around are broken. The administrator gave us wrong room number. We tried to get in wrong room during 30min.Carpet was dirty everywhere, sofa bed was extremely old, dirty and ripped. The bedroom door has a bad fixed hole on it.Kitchen was dirty.Room and bathroom were ok. Bed sheets and towels were clean. No smell. We left the room after 2 hours staying. No photos due to we were shocked. We paid 213$ for Saturday night!!!Never again!

Tepes _: Came in late in the evening after driving for 16 hours and just wanted a decent place to sleep. Didn’t expect a whole lot but wasn’t expecting what I got. Room smelled like urine and nothing was clean. Heating/AC doesn’t work and it’s 37 degrees outside. I was too afraid to sleep in the bed because the place was so run down and dirty that I thought it might have bed bugs. The conditions were so atrocious that I slept outside in my car. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy up in this place. Save your money.
Tyler Hayles: Desk clerk was nice enough. I can’t do more than two stars because impression on the property felt like I was stepping into bates motel. The picture provided was probably the most unsettling thing about the place.

Jacob sousa: I would give it a zero rating, a friend and i WAS going to here, the Receptionist at the desk at first was kind... until we spoke up about the issues, 1 st room we had walked into the bathroom roof was leaking and the floor was wet, we asked for another room, walked into the room next to it and bed had mold on it, we didn't want to stay there.. we simply asked for our money back and the Receptionist ignored us.. handed us another room key.. Pretty much telling us to pound sand..
John O'Neil: Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. Unlivable. Door broken, door broken to bathroom, crumbs on floor, cigarette burns in sheets.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Mr Maeyoshimoto: All the pictures on Google maps and website are flat out lies! The room i was put in has holes in the walls, water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, the tub has a constant leak, had a noisy A/C unit, there is some kind of unknown substance on the ceiling above the bed and the bed is all crinkly.. like someone was sleeping in it just before i got in the room. The list goes on an on, if i hadn't turnedin my rental car, I'd rather sleep in that for a night!
dawn coviello: Very quaint..basic rooms but pretty clean. Love the front rooms to sit out and watch the highway and the sun.. good for a stop over. Have been 3 times and all very accommodating.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Tony P: Needed a hotel for the night so we got there at 10pm. Upon walking in the lobby had a pungent stench of urine and a customer was complaining about something at the front desk. He was attempting to get a refund with seemingly little success. We struck up a quick convo at which point he told me his room was foul in every conceivable way and the beds were infested with bed bugs.. and he had the photo evidence to prove it. We left then and there and made our way to the similarly priced Days Inn up the street. Much better vibes there and a much cleaner lobby, much cleaner rooms as well. I didn't enter a room at Econo Lodge but judging by the man's pictures I think its fair to say I never will. Fellow traveller's beware!
Malcolm McMann: The rooms are OKAY. The Smoking rooms are totally neglected and gross. Could definitely be worse, so it's not really gross - it could just EASILY BE TAKEN CARE OF A LITTLE BETTER because the regular, Non-smoking rooms are actually nice... My only prayer is that it's actually REALLY CLEAN. I Used to be a housekeeper when I was about 19. I know how they operate. I hope this location is MUCH FRESHER & CLEANER. It's bearable, regardless... All I can say is I HOPE THE SHEETS & PILLOWS ETC... ARE FRESH & CLEAN. THATS MY ONLY WORRY. BUT IT WAS NICE HERE. Could be more in a more outstanding location. Alright Service. Little Pricey! Not bad for what it is! EconoLodge Gets A Thumbs Up.
Joe Gray: The ac in the room sucked. I complained some guy came down turned the ac to fan said he fixed it and left. If u want a cool room to sleep in this isn’t the place. They finally mocked me to a room where the AC worked. Then I checked out I realized the room had bed bugs. They tore me up.
Minnette Davila: The first problem was when we checked in, they had no smoking rooms, but I had reserved one.  We finally got one.  The second problem was there was no toilet paper in the room.  My fiance went to the desk to get it and to let them know there was no phone in the room.  He went down again to ask for a "do not disturb" sign, they didn't have any.  He asked about a wakeup call, they said they would come up and knock since there was no phone.  We got settled in, on the bed with the burn marks on the bedding.and decided to watch TV, after a frustrating 10-15 minutes, we realized there were no batteries in the remote.  Another trip to the desk.  The security lock was only existent on one side, everything was covered with thick dust and the light was full of dead bugs.  On the way to the hotel, I bought bubble bath, thinking it would be relaxing.  Unfortunately the tub was so disgusting, I wished I had flip flops on even to shower and the towel rack was hanging off the wall.  The wake up knock never came.  The coffee machine was down.  No coffee, no forks, the pancake maker was down.  I've stayed in hotel rooms that were half the price of this one, that were twice as nice.

Allen Barlow: Room needs maintenance. Also had no towels when i called front desk the never delivered them!!! My company may not stay here any longer!!Rooms: Maintenance needsNoteworthy details: Needs towels and when calling front desk they come with request
John Splain: Downgraded to one star now that I have been billed $183 *twice* for what was supposed to be a free stay. 🤦🏼‍♂️Most definitely *not* worth the rewards points used to book the reservation. The staff are the saving grace of this hotel. The building and facility are showing their age (read: advanced) and level of maintenance (read: low).Rooms: Room 404. The closet shelf is at a compound angle because the brackets have been ripped from the drywall. There's some kind of unidentified gadget attached to the wall and HVAC unit, which is loud and runs nearly constantly. The mattresses are like concrete covered with sheets.Safety: Room 404. The U-bar lock is missing from the door.Food & drinks: Room 404. Reported the coffee maker as broken on Thursday. Checked out Sunday, coffee maker has yet to be repaired or replaced.
emeryj duobach: Dude didn't tell me the price of the room or a deposit amount. Also told me they don't tell people their price so they can charge them more. He also said the pricekn the holiday in website was technically a their party that's why he was able to charge me more. Literally robbing people . Please don't go here. Customer service was absurd. I made a complaint with corporate. Have yet to still have that resolved.
Phyllis Camille Dixon-Gadson: Never never never do not book unless YOU CAN VIEW YOUR ROOM FIRST IF THEY SAY NO LEAVE!!!!!!!!! Horrible staff poorly trained dressed like street ppl. Disturbingly bad unfortunately staff replies to comments in the same condescending manner as they offer service. Terrible In response to the "owners" reply. THE ROOMS ARE IN SUCH TERRIBLE CONDITION DO NOT RENT UNLESS YOU'RE ALLOWED TO SEE IT FIRST BECAUSE THE STAFF IS SO RUDE AND UNHELPFUL THAT IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE ACCOMMODATIONS THEY'RE UNWILLING TO ACCOMMODATE YOU. THEY WILL HOWEVER, DEMEAN YOU, SPEAK IN A CONDESCENDING TONE, BLAME THE CUSTOMER AND TAKE ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHY YOU'RE UPSET IN THE FIRST PLACE. THE PEOPLE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED AT THIS LOCATION HAVE TO DATE BEEN THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND POORLY TRAINED IVE HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF SEEING. I SUGGEST YOU GO TO THE LOCATION IN MARLBOROUGH IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE AND THE ROOMS ARE NOT PERFECT BUT THEY'RE CLEAN AND THE STAFF ACCOMMDATES YOU WELL.Rooms: Bad

Troy Dupont: The overall experience at this property has been extremely disappointing. I’m an IHG member and have been since 2012. I have never at any point experienced such condescending staff from any property before I came to this one. Everything was fine upon check in but the next morning is where my downhill experience started. The kitchen staff in the breakfast room is very rude and condescending from the very beginning i wasn’t even in the room for a second and she was like can’t you read the machine is broken I said I’m sorry but I just walked in here. Then forget it she lost her mind when I used a coffee cup to get juice from the machine she’s like you can’t use that cup for juice I told her I don’t see the difference in using this cup. I’d rather use that cup since they have lids that go with it. Her response was it does matter and I need to use the other cups next time of course she’s saying this with an attitude and she’s beyond rude as well. The next morning she’s on her cell phone crying to her boss that I was doing the same thing again. I didn’t say a thing to her then. I stayed her for a total of four days and I without a doubt will never stay here at this property again. Might I add I’m a first responder and I stay at IHG properties a lot and to be threatened to have the cops called on because I gave her the same level of respect that she was providing me. I was like the cops are gonna laugh in your face because I treated you the same way you’ve been treating me. In conclusion THIS PROPERTY IS BY FAR THE WORST ONE I HAVE BEEN TO AND WILL MOST DEFINITELY NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN EVEN IF I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE ID RATHER CHECK IN TO THE HOMELESS ENCAMPMENT NEAR BY THAN STAY HERE!!!

Brandon Petcaugh: If you are a teacher/coach traveling with students to this area, do not book at this hotel. We booked 8 weeks before our stay, and after driving for 6+ hours and just wanting a place to sleep, they literally cancelled our reservation at the front desk. We were told they have a policy where students (anyone under 21) cannot stay in a room without an adult. I've never seen this policy at hotels before, and I'm not sure how any teacher/mentor/coach would be able to travel with students when they can't stay in a room with their peers. I'm at a loss for words. Please don't give them any of your money; there are plenty of other great, affordable hotels around.
Victor Rivera: I was charged twice for a room that I had booked by a third party and the GM would not refund me even tho it was due to the incompetence of there employees.. I call my bank and they stated that if I was indeed refunded it would show on my bank statement and lastly the Phone conversation I had with them was very unpleasant and unprofessional.
Martin Anderholm: We booked a room 2 weeks in advance and paid in full through Expedia. On our way to the hotel we received a phone call from the hotel manager telling us that they overbooked the hotel and did not have a room for us! She then proceeded to tell us that although they "value all of their customers" priority is given to customers who booked directly through the hotel not through a third party. This is an unacceptable way to conduct business! The bottom line is that they make more money on the people who book direct since they have to pay a fee/commission to the third party. At the end of the call she basically hung up on me. She said we are "really sorry, have a nice day" and hung up!!! I cannot review the physical hotel as we did not stay there!
Andrew Dunsworth: Friendly clean nice. Has lots of parking on the premises. Large room with many amenities. Breakfast every morning.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Antonio Guevara: Front desk lady was incompetent. Had to call her boss for any little question I had and her boss wasn’t answering. She said she had only been there for three months, if true I dont know why she was working alone, it was at 6pm too so it’s not like It was the middle of the night. Definitely not coming back here
tatjana reynolds: Staff was fine. "Fall" scented candle at front desk was nauseating. Rooms are extremely worn down. All the furniture was beat up, wallpaper was peeling and patched, tub was dingy with a mildew ring. Bed/sheets were clean, but very rough, low thread count. No bar/restaurant. Would never rebook.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More

Alex Handyside: We had stayed at two previous, different La Quinta hotels and were impressed, so when we spotted a La Quinta in Worcester MA - even though it was more expensive than the other two - this was a no brainer.Except this was nothing like the other La Quinta hotels: it was old, shabby, too expensive, and too small rooms. This hotel does the La Quinta brand a serious disservice. This hotel needs rebranding. That said, check-in was fast, staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable, the compact & very tired room was clean, and breakfast was excellent.Rooms: Clean but shabby, old, cigarette burns on furniture, stained carpets, peeling wallpaper, too small for two doubles.
Christine Coelho Olmeda: Do not recommend a Stay here. Its run down, carpets are gross, smells like cigarette smoke, one room smelt like a dog was there for a week and furniture was chewed off, another room we had the toilet broke down and they just told us not to put toilet paper in the toilet the two days we were staying. HORRIBLE! Its not worth the cost.. theres hotels down the street that are newer and much much nicer we had friends stay in for the same or close to the same cost. This place needs a whole clean out and remodel.

Rob Amos: Over the past 15 years, we have stayed with the LA Quinta chain upwards of 75 times in locations from Maine to Florida, Maryland to several in Midwest , Olympia WA and Vancouver. Auburn location was once a reasonable hotel for price, cleanliness and amenities. We stayed there on 11 Apr, and I am sorry to say it has degenerated to the point that it is the worst La Quinta hotel we have stayed in, ever. First, my booking had been cancelled. Receptionist Sue fixed that with some difficulty. Next, she confirmed a second booking for 17 April, and I later discovered that it too does not exist. Third, room was in extremely poor condition. Overall poor cleaning was evident. Worse, pullout couch mattress was badly stained with urine. King bed mattress was stained and actually had wires and springs sticking out. Cleaning staff should have noted these conditions and both mattresses replaced long ago. No excuse for this. Overall our experience resulted in me booking elsewhere, and we will definitely avoid this hotel on future trips. Not recommended!Rooms: Dirty, unacceptable maintenance ( mattresses). Staff poorly trained or supportive.
Joshua Cruz: Great place to to stay for a weekend good prices breakfast is phenomenal you got the huevos Ranchero delicious definitely worth the stay
Erin B: Front desk staff was very pleasant at check-in. Shower was lukewarm, room smelled like smoke and just before checking out we realized there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector in our room.
Ken Kuttner: Decent, nothing to write home about. Clean but could use a little sprucing up and minor repairs. Check-in staff very friendly.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Nelson Mitchell: The people working at the front desk need a lesson in customer service. After booking the room over the phone, a month ago we arrived to the hotel saying the cancelled our reservation…we received no advanced warning and upon asking for an explanation we received a condescending explanation that made them seem special since it was privately owned. We will be contacting the corporate office to express our experience…luckily we were able to find a hotel that was accommodating at the last minute.
Molly Mitchell: Worst customer service ever!!! We have been rewards members for over 10 years and NEVER had an experience like we did here!! Very rude staff, don’t “really” accepts dogs, racist and nasty staff. Their explanation for it all was “well we are privately owned so we run things differently then most La Quintas!” Absolutely sickening! We will be filing a report with the cooperate office as we had to leave and find another hotel very last minute after traveling all day. I’m sad my son had to be there to hear it all.

damien dekarski: When I got there they were gonna charge me a second time even tho the card I use was already charged. Then there was no one at the front desk upon arrival The room however was in good order and neat but as for the services and the fact I had to pay a second time made me leave right as I got there. I would not recommend this to my friends or family.
Juan “Juanman” Garza: Room that I was put in was a smoking room. It looked like it was getting remolded, patched, and repairs joints and repair spot on the wall bed was comfortable.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Scott Foley: This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. Cockroaches, hair in sink trap. Upstairs shower leaking through the ceiling into our shower. Rude owner and front desk people. If you need any drugs you can find it there.Rooms: Suck dirty rugs smell nasty
Chantelle Goulet: For one, when I arrived there was a blood stain on my towel and he tried telling me that it was washed so it was fine..that being the first night I should have known what I was in for.I had drugs in my draw from the previous person staying in the room in which they never cleaned after.I had laundry stolen from the laundry roomThey treated me and my mother like garbage and with attitude beyond beliefIronically I knew someone who was staying there at the same time I was and he had so many cockroaches in his room and the male owner just went to his room with raid and watched all the cockroaches scatter as he sprayed it in the microwave. My friend also claimed that he saw needles around the building as well.I don’t even get how the owners have their own kids living there.I posted pics on this reviewWILL NEVER GO BACK I HOPE YALL DONT EITHER! Robert Dabrowski: DO NOT ever stay here. The pictures they use to advertise the property are a lie. The rooms smelled like a kennel, there was black mold and holes in the baseboards. The employees openly make fun of guests and offer nothing to help or even acknowledge concerns. In fact, they seem to enjoy taking guest's money and watching them immediately leave.

Dina P: First time here came for a baptism in town, and the hotel looks beautiful out and in. The parking is across the hotel in garage. Where you can pay per hour or pay at desk for the days you stay.Hotel room was nice but refrigerator was not cold and not enough lights in room. The breakfast isn’t free you pay for it. The customer service at front desk and house keeping was nice and professional. The amenitiesPool- was small perfect size but very dirty and muggy water and always hair on the pool, it has the smell of chlorine but water is very cloudy and dirty. The hot tub is out for repair. The restaurantUno pizza and grillWalk in and automatically yucky smellBut we decided oh well it must be busy but then noticed tables weren’t clean and waitress and hostesses were rude and didn’t want to help. The table seats were dirty and then to top it off the ketchup had someone gum on top of the lid and that was it, I said if it’s this dirty inside I can’t imagine the cooking area and we leftThe washer and dryersOld school washer works great old oneDryer you have to dry twice clothes were still wet1.50Per load
Stephen Bombardier: This Hilton was in a good location downtown Worcester but the rooms left a lot to be desired. Thin walls, out dated and gave the very used feel. Service and staff were fantastic. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and professional. Overall met my needs for a work trip.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Dr. Melissa Ann Mitchell, PhD: The only really good thing about this hotel stay was the location, we were visiting WPI and the hotel was basically a few blocks away. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. It was so bad it made me rethink whether I want to book a Hilton again. The Wi-Fi was slow in the room and there were no streaming services on the TV. The fire alarm detector was hanging from the ceiling by a wire! We asked for some extra soap and coffee for the room was were told to come down to the main desk to get it. I will be traveling to Worcester often and I know I won’t stay at this property again.Food & drinks: The breakfast was good in the restaurant, the waitress was very nice and helpful and the chef made really great eggs.
Jason McHenry: Nice poolRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Joe Franke: The Rooms were old and out of date, with some strange smells. The bathroom water pressure was horrible. The breakfast buffet charged you 17 dollars for the same breakfast that's free at any other Hilton property. The wifi didn't work consistently. Overall a very bad hotel, would recommend finding alternate accommodations.Rooms: Old and smelled bad
Joy Bethune: Staff was incredible!! So accomodating and professional!! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!Safety: Just felt safe and comfortable!
G Webb: Very friendly clean easy parking across the street parking garageRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly …More
Gabby Moreno: Was very disappointed at the experience we had at this hotel. We were here for a work event hosted over the weekend. Both myself and other colleagues reported how the fitted sheets on the beds didn’t actually fit the bed. We were constantly trying to make the bed but one end would always pull up to reveal stained mattresses that didn’t leave a very comfortable feeling with you. I tried to use the fitness room and exercise on the treadmill. I was using a treadmill, as was another gentlemen. I was trying to do a running workout and as I was jogging to warm up, it just felt like something wasn’t right in the speed or cadence of the treadmill. As I started going faster, suddenly the treadmill jolted still, as did the other gentlemen’s. Turns out a fuse blew. I went to the front desk to alert them and the attendant said “oh no, not again. This happened an hour ago”. They reset the circuit breaker but the gentleman and myself agreed it wasn’t safe. The treadmill “skips a beat” and someone could have gotten hurt. Unbelievable that they haven’t replaced these dated machines by now. Hotel rooms are also dated and dirty. Definitely won’t stay here again.
Kerry Chaffin: They do not have fitted sheets and the bottom sheet is too small. Seems unsanitary.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
T W: Beds are terrible and old. Rooms are small. Decor is out dated in the rooms. Almost slipped and fell about a dozen times in the tub because it’s so slippery.
Ben Robertson: This is another Hilton property that is showing its age and needs an update. It's not as bad as some of the Hilton's where I stayed but I was sorry I did not pay a little more to stay at another nearby hotel that had better reviews. This hotel has very nice staff and the breakfast was not bad but the air quality in the room was like a busy parking garage. They have an ionizer to mitigate poor air quality in the rooms but I never even heard of that before. That is how bad it is that they have a special machine to deal with it. They ran it when I went out and things were better when I got back but I would not recommend this place until they fix the air quality problem.
Emma Stone: Was kept up all night by room next door. Walls were paper thin. No fan in the bathroom. Hot tub was out of order. Place looked and smelled unclean.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Steven M. Hughley, Sr.: It's an older model hotel but the rooms, morning breakfast, and staff are very good 👍🏿
Cynthia Cunningham: So I was staying here with my grandmother to be close to Worcester/Paxton for a funeral service. The staff was kind and friendly the room was clean and spacious and had all creature comforts. Only issue was the floor always felt damp. Nothing worse then getting out of bed and having your feet met with damp carpet. Free hot breakfast. Quality wifi. All in all a good stay. Bring slippers though!
Ted Ayles: We stayed at the Comfort Inn Auburn Ct for 3 days mid Aug /22. The inside of the hotel is a little worn out but in good shape. Outside is quite a nice looking brick building. Staff were friendly, beds comfortable, and room a good size and large TV. WIFI worked just find. Front desk person also had to manage the breakfast area which led to shortage of different food stuffs. Breakfast was quite minimal but with a waffle maker. The big issue was staff and clients smoking right outside the main door. There is a sign stating you must be 25 feet away from the entrance but they hung around the door talking to each other and it was impossible to avoid walking through cigarette smoke.
Lily St. Germain: I had a rough, long drive and came here to get some rest last night. Karrie and another woman at the desk were so nice and helpful! They gave me a bottle of water and were very helpful in setting up my room, and were super polite on my way out as well. Service was amazing, the room was great as well. Would definitely recommend!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Hampton Inn & Suites Worcester: what do users think?
Christopher Rivera: Stayed here recently and I must say I was extremely satisfied and impressed by the quality of service I received and how clean everything was. The front staff members were extremely friendly and helpful with all my concerns regarding my service needs. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. Parking was also free
Alexa Lauria: I love Hampton Inn! Loved the room and the pool. Free breakfast was also great. Also, Mario at the front desk was super helpful and friendly:) enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Heather Marie: Rooms: GreatSafety: GreatWalkability: Great
Jacob Turner: Rooms are very nice and have a lot of sleek modern designs. The front desk ataff are very friendly, and will try to resolve any issue you have to the bes of theor ability. The hotel shares a parking lot with another hotel. So during the evening parking becomes scarce, if you can even park at all. We had to park in the WIP parking garage once night because there was no parking. Feel like it would be in their best interest, and the interest of the other hotel to possibly erect a parking garage to accommodate guests.
Jennifer Bouck: We selected this hotel for our us and our wedding guests. Alex in sales was extremely condescending, unprofessional, and passive aggressive to not only the bride and the groom, but to our guests throughout the entire process. Our guests also mentioned other staff being rude to them as well. We were told the day of check in that our rooms were not secured and could be given up if a card was not on file. We were given a deadline of 12pm when our check in was at 3pm. The email stating this also looked like spam, as no contact information was provided. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and our venue/vendors have been notified and in agreement. Additionally, there were numerous stains on the bedsheets and curtains.
Laura Hunt: I stayed here for one night. It was easy to find, had plentiful parking, and we had a good check-in experience. The room was clean and beds were comfy. The pool was small but sufficient. The kids said it was very warm. There were plenty of towels. We had a large group of kids and I appreciated that the hotel staff allowed them to be kids but, if they had to say something, they were very respectful about it. Breakfast was amazing and check-out was easy. Will definitely choose this hotel again. If you stay here and are looking for a good restaurant, the Fix Burger Bar was within walking distance and was amazing.

Jim Sullivan: I am now retired, but have spent much of time traveling and sleeping in hotels. This has to be the nicest Hampton Inn I have stayed in. I am thinking the hotel is not new, but most recently went under a major refresh. All of the common areas were in perfect condition and clean. If you are used to the Hampton Inn breakfasts you know that the menu is basically the same from property to property, but this property's breakfast seemed a step above all others. I gave a 5 star ratings as I believe it deserves it based on the price point for this type of hotel.
Lourdes Rodriguez: Rooms: Love the rooms was beautifulHotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
kenneth broughton: Great service and clean roomsRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Julie Marie: The front desk guy is absolutely unpleasant and unprofessional. Not willing to provide any kind of service. It was so frustrating, I simply took my belongings and happily went to the next door Court yard Marriott. He had a sign posted that management will be right back, after 45mins, I see a car pulling up and he walks in like nothing. I wouldn't ever step food there.
Niles Mo: Over priced and did not get the Accommodations I was promisedRooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Viktor Depunkt: Nice enough hotel with very friendly staff, clean rooms and comfy beds. What I found shocking, though, is that the breakfast tableware is completely made up of throwaway, one-use plastic or paper. Disregarding the fact that eating from a paper plate feels more like a cheap camping trip than a stay at an expensive hotel, I wonder if the hotel management has ever heard of climate change and/or the effort to reduce waste?! How is it possible that in this day and age you seem to give zero thought about the impact you have on the planet? Every day I’ve seen your staff throw away multiple garbage cans worth of waste that would have been avoided if only you used proper plates and glasses as one would expect when booking a hotel of the kind you clearly want people to think you are. You know, the kind of plate/glass/cutlery you can put in the washing machine and use again and again, many many years…
Shayli Huston: The gentleman who was working 12/10 and 12/11 is a gift to your company. I watched him go above and beyond for guests in front of me, and went above and beyond for me as guest as well. Sir if you see this. Thank you for being the human that you are. I usually don’t even write reviews, but that man deserves a nice holiday bonus :) thanks again!

Lori Thatcher: Good checkin. Helpful staff. Spacious room. Accessible bathroom suffered what most Hampton Inn's do: a roll in shower that gets the bathroom floor wet and shampoo/body gel dispensers placed in the shower high on the wall behind the shower bench where they are unreachable. Dan: Was very disappointed with my stay here I checked in at 9 pm as I had a 4 hour drive to get here the reason I chose this place was for the hot tub for my wife and it was not even open I stupidly did not look at the reviews because I was in a hurry and yeah it has reviews going back 2 years with the pool/hot tub not open. We should all get together and do a class action lawsuit. The excuse I got was they are waiting on permits. Oh and the smell in the room was not the best either it was kinda like someone left their dirty socks hidden in the room.

Mike C: Can I just tell you that our great experience with this hotel started with Rickey at the front desk! What a great guy! He got us checked in at world record time. His attention to detail, customer service and just all around great attitude was so refreshing! If you are looking for a quiet hotel (I mean really quiet), don’t hesitate to book. It is off the main drag all by itself on a private road. Beautiful views too! Now, if you are the type that wants a pool (or somehow missed the great big giant banner across the top of their website that clearly states the pool is closed for renovations), this isn’t for you at the moment. It will be down the road though as the whole place looks at the end stages of a complete and thorough renovation. What an awesome job they did. This place is clean from pillar to post. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are super quiet. The shower heads are brand new and have every function under the sun. Another great touch was the blackout window shades in the room. You will also find a refrigerator, microwave and massive wide screen television which was awesome! Hot coffee and tea available 24/7 and the breakfast area and food was awesome. But all roads lead back to Rickey! He really made this stay special for us. His personality just brightens your day after a long ride into town. Will return! Loved room 330.
Debbie Rayworth: Odd beginning, our room #105 was not cleaned when we arrived. Bummer, so we were moved to #103. Comfy rooms, great stay, good breakfast, excellent kitchen staff. An off gas toilet/septic smell in both of these rooms. A candle took care of this smell. We only slept there 9p-9a, then we were out all day with family. Stay four days. Wish house cleaning would say & fix bathroom off smells in the future!!We'll try the 2nd floor next time.

Bjarke Gotfredsen: Nicely revamped with big rooms, great shower. I take a star away from the hotels lack of integration to the Hilton Honor App ecosystem, so while you can choose your room, you don’t get a digital key and therefore can’t go directly to your room. This is also the first Hilton where we had to sign in. Breakfast area too small and breakfast only so-so.
Raj Jathar: I was a little disappointed when I heard that I couldn't get a late check out here, but then they more than made up for it by giving me access to one of their meeting rooms. Not only did they do that, but they also delayed stocking some items in the room because they didn't want to bother me while on calls. Finally, the manager even checked on me and offered me waterNow that's going above and beyond! Such a nice experience in a world full of horror stories when it comes to the service industry
David Sarica: their staff are rude!!!
Gary Knox: We were greated by friendly staff, given clean, updated rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was simple, but fresh and good.Check-out was easy. The hotel was very conviently located near family. I definately plan to stay here again. I enjoy the woods and lake that surround the property.

At least add complementary snacks and drinks when you enter the Laundry Lounge next time. I’m skipping this Hilton next time
GabzTheBrat: This place was really clean front desk was very nice and helpful breakfast was delicious only reason I’m giving it a few stars less is because online it says pool is open and available but when we got there the pool was closed until April it was a let down as I booked this expensive place for the poolRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Lmsmom: Honestly the worse stay i had at any hotel. Rude receptionist when i checked in. House keeping just walks in and does not knock. And when i talked to the manager about the issue she didn’t seem to care at all. Just seemed passive aggressive. I will not stay again unless it it a last option. And also the leaking the window ya no.
