carla digregorio-wolfe: I have had a number of MRI scans here and the staff is helpful, professional and caring. I would have given 5 stars but it takes forever to schedule one. When you try to call on hold too long!!!

Pamela Benvenuti: Absolutely the WORST service ever!! Waiting weeks to get a call for mri. Then no one seems to know where or what service is available. Once booked after me making several calls day before appointment told “ I don’t think you can do it there”. Hire someone who actually cares about patients!!! The recording stated they call within 24 hours of getting a referral or orders. Bill, they NEVER call you to schedule!!!

Mary Depew: Not just Shrewsbury St . This complaint is about the scheduling department - on the phone and the Shrewsbury St location - in person. I called yesterday to make two appointments, one for MRI for brain, and the other for spine for my son who suffers from MS and claustrophobia. They told me don’t worry that my son has to go to the 3t Machine for MS. My son has been in the 1.5t before so why is it he has to go to 3t now? So the MRI’s done for him on the 1.5 are invalid then? What do they do for claustrophobic patients? The scheduler, Diane I think, could not answer that question. Also she talked over me and was so rude that I started yelling trying to be heard. She then told me the Doctor ordered the 3Tvone specifically which I said was a lie because I had just talked to the doctor’s office and they said the MRI Order did NOT specify- so I told her she lied to me. She hung up on me. I drove to the Shrewsbury St Sheilds location. I asked to make two appointments. After being told I could not make an appointment for my son( my son has told them several times that they can get all to me), I had to call my son at his work and he had to tell the receptionist is was ok for me to make the appts. With no further conversation, the receptionist handed me two appt cards for my son in the 1.5 machine- I understand the strengths of the two machines are different but why was 1.5ok before but not now? Both scheduled on Sundays at 7:50 am! I checked with our doctor and they said ok. I was not asked if those times were convenient, but just accepted the appt times. Disgusted with the rudeness and uncaring attitude of both the scheduling sept and the Shrewsbury St location. The receptionist on Wednesday at 1:pm told me “We don’t make appts here at the Shrewsbury St location, I just made the appointments as a courtesy”, when I asked which machine she made the appts for. So rude.

Donna Anderson: Same happened to me. I had an appointment that I had just made 1 week prior. Because I didn't answer the phone. They canceled my appointment. How unprofessional and unethical to interfere with my medical care. Now that have postpone my care further. I'm sure this is neither legal or ethical. Last year I also went to imams University for an mri and the tech caused me to be in such pain I couldn't finish the test. What's wrong with this place!

Wyatt Burtt: I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about, I get annual MRIs and I gotta say this place has been the best so far. The facility is very clean, staff was very nice and pleasant, wait time was next to nothing and the cushions and layout when inside the machine was the comfiest I’ve experienced.

Hala Saleh: DONT GO THERE !!When I say that was the worst experience I have ever had in a healthcare facility, it’s an understatement. These people know nothing about bedside manners, empathy or how to treat patients. Turned out the 50 min wait after they checked me in & gave me a scrub to change into, turned out that was the best part of my experience. No matter what you do, don’t ever go to that location on shrewsbury street in worcester. I heard a lot of bad things about shields but my experience tonight made me realize these people shouldn’t be in charge of patients. It’s just sad !

Margaret W.: Had an appt for this morning, but because I work nights and didn't answer my phone, according to the message it was to pre-register, THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT! Where is my $50 from them for canceling with less than 24 hours notice! They called with a caller ID that said .Massachusetts,which is usually spam, so I did't hurry to listen to the messages. They sent a text at 12:25 yesterday right after I went to bed, said update, call re: important information re: your appt, gave a number and said press 1. Nowhere did they tell me I neeed to pre-register! Only in the spam messages that I received after 7p, and by then the number went to message, no one answered!!!!If they wanted me to pre-register, they should have TOLD ME AHEAD OF TIME!!!!!

Stacy H: I went to the Shrewsbery Street Shields MRI to use the “open” machine. While the checking inn, the woman in the left was very unpleasant. However, Rafael, the gentleman who performed the MRI, was so nice. He was so soft spoken, explained what he was doing and he had a great personality. I would go back just for him. I heard that for whatever reason, people complain about him? I couldn’t imagine why. I’ve had several MRI’s in my time and he was the nicest guy ever! If he’s not appreciated there, he needs to move on and be appreciated somewhere else! Just tell him it’s the crazy lady who asked him if he likes older women! Lol

RMD-AMO IKOLOGIKS: The staff on-site is fantastic, especially Nancy! However, the overall service at MWMRI is terrible as follows: 1) They deceptively align themselves with MW Medical Center when they just rent shared space. 2) They outsource all scheduling to out-of-state and the process results in long phone waits upwards of 40 minutes! 3) Their original database has not been integrated to their new system so all my records of prior MRI are in limbo. 4) They have no clear process for receiving Faxed Referrals from a PCP and therefore I've spent upwards of 1-2 months with a back and forth with claims fax was not received. My latest episode was a scheduled MRI that was cancelled the day before with no contact or explanation. I showed up only to find out my MRI was cancelled. The use of contrast is insisted even if the patient does not want these chemicals/minerals in their body. I will NEVER go back there again and advise prospective clients to think carefully before going here. It is best just to go to a hospital and pay a little more than all the aggravation they cause.

Tammy Chevrette: I had a breast MRI done recently. Missy, Tina & Donna were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, outgoing and helped me to be as comfortable as possible. Breast MRI's are not fun but these three ladies went above and beyond with everything that needed to be done.

H Sprad: Had a MRI on 3/11/20 at MetroWest.... a long one (Brain and neck with and without contrast) and was very anxious about having it done. But the caring and helpfulness of Donna and Cheryl made this experience a happily positive one (when I thought the outcome was going to be horrible) Both ladies were professional and explained everything step by step, giving me a moment to gather my emotions and proceed. I truly thank them for their compassion and if I ever need another MRI I will again make theHour (plus) drive to MetroWest because of your staff.Thank you very much.

Draya Fenandez: worst place I've ever been! haven't been a patient now since JUNE and they're STILL sending me certified mail to make an appointment! I've called a dozen times. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! they'll mix you up with another patient with your same name and mess up your appointment time. they actually almost had me sign the women's order and luckily i saw it was the same name and different birthday!!!! BEWARE!!!!!
