Brad Smith: We had a reservation for 10 people. We were seated upon arrival. Service was spot on. We never waited for anything. Ordered 2 apps and 4 pizzas. The apps were the bruschetta and the roasted cauliflower. Highly recommend the cauliflower. Wow, so good. The pizzas were the Margherita (my favorite), Pepperoni (excellent), and the marinara (we added cheese). This awesome restaurant is small, so call ahead. It's worth waiting for.

Service was initially slow but after a bit of waiting it picked up nicely and the early slowness was just a memory. Meals were very good. Didn’t care for the oil with bread - (you can ask for butter). Worth a visit or more. Our waitress was excellent. Not inexpensive for the most part. The ice cream could stop your heart - per my kids. Our server Matt was awesome and very accommodating! We started with the most delicious Bruschetta and Dijon Mussels! My Cioppino was incredible and to end a wonderful meal we got the Exotic Bomba! The restaurant even sent us complimentary champagne so we could toast! Thank you Nuovo for an amazing experience, we shall be back!
Amy Colangelo: This places prices are ridiculous and the portions are pathetic. We ordered the baked brie and fig appetizer. It came with 2 small pieces of toast. We were a party of 3 - awkward! We ran out of toast and had nothing to finish the Brie we paid too much for. Also, be prepared - there is no complimentary bread here. Dinner rolls are .50 a pop. Won't be going back until I win the lottery.

debra libuda: On 1/20/23 I ordered 3 pizza's for takeout on line. When my son got home and gave me the receipt it was a bit higher than the online prices. I called and was told the owner John would call me back. He finally did on 1/29/23 after I called two more times.He said he is aware the online menu prices are off and they are working on it, but that prices are subject to change and the cost of everything is outrageous. I don't see how the cost of things has anything to do with the over charging. Although the pizzas were very good I will not be going back to Pepe's.

They need to update that in the menu, blue cheese is a strong cheese to just surprise someone with. Husband also found piece of plastic in his drink which looked like ice but was not.A few positives - the server was very nice (just not around as often as we’d like) and the dough was good/promising, if only we liked blue cheese. Caprese salad was also fresh.

Travis: First time eating here. Also the first time I have ever sent food back. We got lasagna and shrimp scampi and were going to split them. The scampi was almost inedible. It had a lime flavor to it. It was just terrible. The lasagna was also really bad. It did not taste fresh. I wanted to send both back, but it’s awkward enough just sending the scampi back. We ordered the pizza instead. It was ok, but just not good enough for this type of restaurant. I hate saying this, because I want places like this to succeed, but I just can’t risk another disappointing meal here. It ruins a fun night and despite getting the scampi deducted (they were really good about it), it was a total waste of money.

Unicorn Dreams: Service was not great. I can't even say it was good. No one looked happy. It took a while to get greeted, everything was slow. Painfully at times. Then the disappointing food. One of my girls had the children's pasta with alfredo, it was pretty good. I split the chicken francaise with my other daughter - it was chicken thighs. They were not good at all. I've never had francaise with thighs, it should be a chicken breast. I had a side of broccoli rabe, that was terrible too. Most of the meal was pretty tasteless, but dessert was decent, I took home a cannoli and black forest cake, they were good. The restaurant was very chilly, I wish they had turned some heat on because it was uncomfortable. Overall, it wasn't a good experience at all.

The chicken was breaded nicely but not much for flavor and I needed a good amount of salt and grated parmesan to just eat the meal. My daughter had the family meal and the green beans had stem ends on them. The rest of her meal was ok. My husband had the chicken parmesan but the sauce had a bit of a metallic tin taste. My other daughter and mother in law had chicken broccoli alfredo which they seemed to like. There seemed to be a lack of flavor all the way around. The tiramisu was just ok, the cake was hard in it. Not sure what I'm missing here, but we probably won't be back.

Danielf Ferguson: I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about Russo in Worcester so I thought I’d give it a try . When you walk in it is very nice , down a few steps into an all brick seating area, great for a date or special gathering . There are several rooms and a bar area, which looks very, very nice.! The appetizers of Calamari, fried artichoke and homemade meatballs were very, very good , everyone gave them rave reviews! The meatball appetizer (3) were served in little cast iron skillets which was a great presentation and they were delicious ! Everyone raved about the Calamari. I got the chicken marsala, which had a very nice presentation, but after tasting it, it did lack some sweetness from the marsala wine, and it was kind of a white sauce which I’m used to having a more darker Marsala reduction sauce. The pasta with ricotta, good excellent reviews and look great. The chicken Parmesan looked OK but a little bland. The shrimp francaise looked nice but if came out looking like it was cooked all together and you had to cut out each piece of shrimp from the egg batter . I am a little fussy when it comes to chicken masala but honestly, they could’ve been much tastier yes, a darker, sweeter masala sauce was used, literally very little taste in the sauce. A great place to go for a date, etc. and I would definitely go back again which I will in the future. I also got a draft beer, which was good, but you know my experience, it was a small glass of beer.

Maia W: Just ordered take out from here. Wanted chicken parm with pasta and an order of lasagna. Instead received the combo which is a half size piece of lasagna and just a piece of breaded chicken with cheese (on top so the chicken is extremely soggy). Saw there was only one container so went back in and asked if the order was correct- was informed I ordered a combo even though I didn’t even know that was on the menu.Had to pay an additional $20 just to get linguine to go with the single piece of chicken parm and am missing half of my other entree as the piece of lasagna is so small.I wouldn’t leave a review if this wasn’t the third time something has been off about my time there- the first was rock hard garlic bread in a take out order but I wrote it off as a fluke, the second time was getting the Tortellini dish which is supposed to have prosciutto cotto and instead just had massive chunks of cubed ham. I’m really disappointed.

Their style of Parm is what I would call a 'wet' style, where the sauce makes the fried shell soggy, versus having any crunch to it. More of a personal expectation, but not really my favorite. Tiramisu was 'okay', I think my own is better.

The calamari was not just fried calamari it had a flavor that was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti sauce and the Marsala white was thick stuck to the pasta and was absolutely delicious. We were so full and had leftovers too. I can't wait to go back. We are picky eaters so it was a great experience for us to find a restaurant like this one.

Stephanie Williams: I've been coming here for years and although they're not well know (which is why I like going there nice quiet, authentic dining place with comfortable/laid back ambiance) they have AMAZINGLY authentic Italian food. Like not microwave to plate and not frozen let's heat it up and serve. Always fresh...However, the last two times I went there the place wasn't very clean. The dishes were dirty and sticky, the cloth napkins were dirty (with pieces of food still on them) and the silverware was filthy. The food is great but for some reason the cleanliness of the place is atrocious lately. As much as I love the food I can't bring myself to go back there (even though it holds such sentimental value).

Is 90 minutes an unreasonable period of time for this restaurant to offer its patrons? I think not. Ridiculously poor attitude exhibited towards us by the wait staff. Eater beware! Owner response seems to indicate that people without reservations are treated differently than those with? We were unexpected cash money that night. We tipped 22% even though we were being shooed away rudely. Owner/server -- you have some kind of nerve.

Starter house salad was excellent, served cool and crisp and perfectly dressed. I had the eggplant Parmagian which was great: sliced thin, tender and not drowning in cheese.
