Karl Cincotta: Went to a private birthday party for a family member this past weekend. The service provided by the owners and staff went beyond expectations. The food was top notch in flavor and cooked to perfection. The antipasto is to die for. This is a quaint place that would be perfect for your romantic dinner and also for an after work cordial. Small enough so that you would get plenty of attention yet large enough to enjoy a family gathering. If they are offering pistachio cake that night, don't pass it up, even if you have to take it to go. You will not be disappointed with this quality establishment.

Sam Chipman: My first visit to this restaurant was several weeks ago with family. My dinner choice that afternoon was the Lasagna. It was a very good meal. Portion size was generous and appealing. Definitely worth the visit as it was recommended by family.Unfortunately, todays call in and pick up meal was on the opposite side of the spectrum. My toasted Chicken Parm sandwich was a total waste of waiting time and money.The chicken was either,1. Not watched and left in the fryer over its cooking time,or2. The frying oil needs to be changed/replaced, or3.The cook was new or needs to be retrained.The fried chicken was very dark and had the apperance of grocery store roast beef in the deli showcase. The inner chicken was dry with no taste. However the sandwich bread was decent. The marinara sauce was tasty.If and when I decide to call in a meal to pick up again. I will definitely inspect the meal before I walk out.I was unable to transfer the pictures I took to this review.

Unicorn Dreams: Service was not great. I can't even say it was good. No one looked happy. It took a while to get greeted, everything was slow. Painfully at times. Then the disappointing food. One of my girls had the children's pasta with alfredo, it was pretty good. I split the chicken francaise with my other daughter - it was chicken thighs. They were not good at all. I've never had francaise with thighs, it should be a chicken breast. I had a side of broccoli rabe, that was terrible too. Most of the meal was pretty tasteless, but dessert was decent, I took home a cannoli and black forest cake, they were good. The restaurant was very chilly, I wish they had turned some heat on because it was uncomfortable. Overall, it wasn't a good experience at all.

Darlene Golightly: We’re so glad we responded to the tv ad playing on Spectrum 1 for Russo’s….. We’ve never had better Italian food. The restaurant was cosy and the waitress friendly. How do the Italians say delicious! The pasta fagioli was the best I’ve ever had. We both had the Fruitt de Mare an excellent choice. We’ll be going back soon.
Denise Lalashius: We went for my birthday. A party of adults. I ordered some chicken and broccoli with aglio e olio oil. It was completely tasteless without event he slightest hint of garlic flavor. The chicken was breaded nicely but not much for flavor and I needed a good amount of salt and grated parmesan to just eat the meal. My daughter had the family meal and the green beans had stem ends on them. The rest of her meal was ok. My husband had the chicken parmesan but the sauce had a bit of a metallic tin taste. My other daughter and mother in law had chicken broccoli alfredo which they seemed to like. There seemed to be a lack of flavor all the way around. The tiramisu was just ok, the cake was hard in it. Not sure what I'm missing here, but we probably won't be back.

When you walk in it is very nice , down a few steps into an all brick seating area, great for a date or special gathering . There are several rooms and a bar area, which looks very, very nice.! The appetizers of Calamari, fried artichoke and homemade meatballs were very, very good , everyone gave them rave reviews! The meatball appetizer (3) were served in little cast iron skillets which was a great presentation and they were delicious ! Everyone raved about the Calamari. I got the chicken marsala, which had a very nice presentation, but after tasting it, it did lack some sweetness from the marsala wine, and it was kind of a white sauce which I’m used to having a more darker Marsala reduction sauce. The pasta with ricotta, good excellent reviews and look great. The chicken Parmesan looked OK but a little bland. The shrimp francaise looked nice but if came out looking like it was cooked all together and you had to cut out each piece of shrimp from the egg batter . I am a little fussy when it comes to chicken masala but honestly, they could’ve been much tastier yes, a darker, sweeter masala sauce was used, literally very little taste in the sauce. A great place to go for a date, etc. and I would definitely go back again which I will in the future. I also got a draft beer, which was good, but you know my experience, it was a small glass of beer.

Krystle DeFazio: Celebrated my daughter's First Communion today and Leo's hosted the reception luncheon. I cannot recommend this place enough! The entire booking process with Lee was so easy, she was always easy to reach and answered any questions I had. And Jill, our host for the day...she was so amazing! So sweet and welcoming! She decorated the room beautifully and really made sure everything went smooth so we could enjoy the day. The food was delicious (we did a buffet style luncheon) and the desserts were absolutely amazing! Leo's restaurant is a real gem in Worcester! Thank you all for all the hard work today! My family and I appreciate it! We will absolutely be back!

Michael Laske: Went there Sunday night with 13 people service very poor started out ordereing apps order 2 sausage ragoons and fried calamari after 25 minutes waitress came out said they only have 1 order of sausage ragoons left started to order dinner she said they are out of scallops and lobster with is what I was going to order asked for water had to ask again in 15 minutes because they never brang it after 1 1/2 hour findly got our dinners was not impressed with food very bad experience paid $600 dollars for very bad night don't recommend them
Sam Young: Went here expecting a great experience after hearing other people say that they liked it. We had a 5:30 reservation and didn't get our food until 7:30. The waitress was great and could tell that she was trying all she could to keep us content. I ordered a makers mark old fashioned that was just makers mark maraschino red cherries and some bitters. By the time we got our food we were so annoyed that we couldn't enjoy it. The stuffed shells were okay but under cooked and the meatballs were okay. My girlfriend got chicken Parm that was okay as well but didn't have much flavor. When we got there there was a larger party next to us that were very unhappy as well that must have been there much longer then us and got there food only shortly before we did. Would not recommend.

Christine Macey: So disappointing. My family of 3 went to celebrate all our January birthdays. To start we were seated in the bar area under a light that was constantly flickering. The bartender got our drinks but brought me the wrong wine, I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc and received a Cabernet Sauvignon, I like reds too so I just drank it. The food was good but I can’t believe an Italian restaurant would only have linguine and penne as their choices. The service was ok but no one asked if we wanted more drinks and we had to pile our plates up so they would be bussed out of the way. When the meal ended the server just dropped the check and was not offered dessert so we had to ask for dessert. My daughter ordered the m&m cookie sundae and they gave her a brownie sundae which she ate anyway. 1 or 2 of these things I can over look but there were just way too many issues. Long story short, we won’t be back.

joe c: I have gone here a number of times. The food is average. Tonight was the last straw. I will not go here again. I ordered a turkey bacon wrap. IT WAS $21. HOWWW is that possible. Now the wrap does come in 4 sections so it is bigger than a normal wrap but still not worth $21. I have included a picture. T6he amount of chips it came with is an absolute disgrace. In the pic don't pay attention to it only showing 1 section of the wrap as I split with a friend. Fir $21 they could have atleast give you a full bag of chips. Also the wraps all dell apart and were not very big. I don't recommend this place. Everything is overpriced!!!!

Starter house salad was excellent, served cool and crisp and perfectly dressed. I had the eggplant Parmagian which was great: sliced thin, tender and not drowning in cheese. We also had the parpadelle bolognese. Pasta cooked perfectly Al dente but not too firm, and the pork and beef Ragu was great: Not too heavy but definitely hearty and tasty. Both meals served piping hot and cooked to order. Service was excellent and friendly. Love the old school vibe. Definitely one of the best on Shrewsbury Street. Will be back.

Service was initially slow but after a bit of waiting it picked up nicely and the early slowness was just a memory. Meals were very good. Didn’t care for the oil with bread - (you can ask for butter). Worth a visit or more. Our waitress was excellent. Not inexpensive for the most part. The ice cream could stop your heart - per my kids. Hismastersvictrola: Went to 2 Chefs we got the Veal Parm and the Eggplant parm both were excellent + 2 sodas $57 with tax and tip. This was our 3nd time. Finally was able to park in the 1 Handycap parking spot. If I park in a regular spot I can't get my wheelchair out of the van !I know the city requires at least 2 Handycap spots but they only have one. For the convenience of there Handycaped customers they could at least have 2. Every time I've gone someone was in the 1 Handycap spot. 3 times out of 7 I was able to find a end spot for wheelchair access the other 4 visits we left and went to another restaurant. How much Bissnisses have they lost because of the Handycap parking? It's obvious that they don't care about their Handycaped customers but the food is excellent!Parking: 1 Handycap parking spot and 50 regular spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible bathroom and seating.

Que Nguyen: I like the food here but I only ate at lunch. It's hard to find parking space at dinner time so I decided to order for take out. I found I could order via Grubhub. Paid for it, took a screen shot of the order # with my name, phone #, name of the food, & total cost. I went to the pick up counter. They asked to see my Grubhub app. I said I used Google map which led me to order via Grubhub. I showed them the screen shot with all the info and my ID. They still asked to see the Grubhub app! After raising my voice, they decided to give me the bag of food that has the receipt which looks exactly like my screen shot! Where is the common sense of "what's your name? And phone #?" because I was asked that when I placed the order! Needless to say, I won't order take out again from this place...and probably won't come back for lunch either! Bad service.
Jonathan Lavallee: Great experience here twice… one time eating and one time getting late night drinks at the bar. The place has a nice homey vibe. The food was a great value. The portions were on the larger side and price point was low. The bolognese was simple and good… nothing mind blowing, but for ~$15, it was a fantastic value and I was satisfied. The second time we went, we got some drinks at the bar. We were happily surprised to see the bar open at almost midnight and we were welcomed with a warm greeting from the bartender. I forget his name as it’s been a few months but I think he had previously worked at table twelve in west boylston. Nice guy and a true gentleman. He was very friendly and we had great conversation and laughs. He made us some of the best crafted drinks (some of their winter specials) we’ve had in a while. Seek this place out… you won’t be disappointed.
