I came back a couple of times because they were broken and crooked, I had to wait for ever because no one wanted to help me even though there was alot of people around. I had one guy literally look over at me then continue to ignore me. I finally got an older guy to help me but he didn't fix them properly so they're still crooked. Guy had bad body laungauage and a smug attitude, as if he's better than you. I won't be back.

Sebastian Pinturas: This shop is AWESOME. The owner, Andrew Metz is SO kind. He does NOT care about making money. His only goal is to help his community see better. He is so FOCUSED on accomplishing this goal and it is visible in many ways in his shop. He knows (as I have now learned) that designer frames are a TOTAL waste of money. If you really want a designer frame you can purchase one online and bring it to him and he will gladly fit it for you. His prices are beyond reasonable. I honestly wish he charged more because he absolutely deserves more. My glasses only took 2 days to be made and they are AWESOME. I was so impressed that I just came back today to pick up my sunglasses fitted with my prescription. They are hands down the best pair of sunglasses I have ever used. I see everything so much better and with no glare. If you are looking to get glasses, look no further. You will love his shop and you will save a lot of your valuable money and time. I WISH I could rate him 7/5 stars because I definitely would. I will never get my glasses anywhere else. A+++

John Foley: I just purchased my second pair of glasses from Andrew Metz, the owner (who is an absolutely AWESOME and KIND man). He actually gave me my first ever pair of glasses for FREE! I had first gone to a very fancy optometrist who made me make an appointment just to talk to someone about getting a pair of glasses. After having to wait for days I finally was seen and I asked what their most simple, unexpensive pair of glasses would be and was promptly told $580. I couldn’t believe it. Andrew Metz sees you right away, no appointment necessary and walks you through EVERYTHING. He does not sell designer frames because they are a total waste of your money. He let me choose a frame from his wonderful collection and told me it would only cost $100 for my glasses. I was thrilled. When I went to pick them up a day later he told me that there was a slight defect on the frame. I’ve looked at my glasses many time for a defect and I can’t see anything wrong with them. They look stunning! He told me not to worry about paying him. I offered many times and he wouldn’t take my money. This kind of service is beyond rare in this day and age. If you need glasses or you think you may need glasses then don’t think about it twice, COME HERE. You will be so glad you did!!!! I love his store and will be a lifetime customer. 10/10 A++++

I knew this was a rip-off and I had heard good things about Metz Opticians so I decided to give it a try. He persuaded me to go with a simpler pair of glasses to start and his prices were VERY reasonable. He knows so much about eyes and glasses. See him and he will help you see better. He cares more about helping you see better than just making a quick buck. 10/10!

Emmett Kelly: I've been a customer of Metz's from the days when his father ran the shop on Pearl Street in Worcester.Went in to get new lenses and frames, and was looking through the selection. Found something I liked, and handed them to the owner. He told me that the ones I selected were a very expensive, Italian, hand made frame. He told me that unless I had a need for a "name", or the prestige that went along with Italian frames, he had something very similar made in the Orient that was 1/10 the price, and almost as good. He was right. The frames have been rock solid, and have given me excellent service.Great service, decent quality and there's usually a black lab dog to greet you when you arrive.

He fixed my broken glasses on the spot, and after showing me the least expensive frames, I had my new glasses the very next day! And, I'm not an easy lens! Usually, I have to go back to get "adjusted" but this time, I didn't. The glasses fit beautifully, and they are so light, I forget I am wearing them! A very nice man, extremely competent and as a bonus, his dog is there also! :)
