Robert Hardman: Years ago, we bought a used pontoon from a different marina, thinking that they would have gone over it. They also made promises that were not kept. Friends recommended USA Marine and we are glad they did. Our boat has never run better, or looked as good. It is practically new again thanks to Bob and his crew in the storage and maintenance department. We are moving out of state and sold out pontoon . Many detailed issues on this old but still hale boat, including obscure out of production parts that they found one way or another. USA Marine's Service Department is not afraid of working on old boats, and they are really good at it! They worked with me every step of the way to ensure the custom-build got done right. I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Then, for bonus points their Detailing Department did a magical job of returning the luster and shine of the hull and in particular the boat's topsides - and I didn't think it could be done! Nick Dill: I have used them 3 times now over the course of 4 years for full motor maintenance installations of various upgrades, and one very involved project after I bent a prop shaft. Nothing but positive; no one else but them is allowed to work on my bass boat. Bobs experience and communication is top notch. No surprises, quick turn over and always call to get my approval for anything more than what the original scope of work is when needed. Technicians have been very skilled and the documentation and quality of the workmanship is highly professional and clean. Highly recommend.

Rob Lane: I'm very pleased with the friendly and timely service I've received from USA Marine. This year I've had 2 situations where I've brought my 17' IO boat in for service. Both times the service was timely, and the service team clearly didn't try to over sell the jobs. In one case they could have proceeded with a job costing over $1k, but instead provided guidance and advice that avoided the work. Most notable to me is the timely and friendly communication from Bob Bourget in service. Bob responded to emails from me on my last issue off-hours over the weekend and at night. Robert Forte: I’ve had my Bayliner for a few years now and only bring it to John. Would recommend J&B’s to anyone with a boat in the area. My boat has a mercruiser I/O and they know their way around it with their eyes closed. Reasonable prices as well.

Greg Lamonakis: Charged me over $300 and claimed to fix the issue of a 2 cycle 3 cylinder running ragged. Said he rebuilt the carburetor and checked the compression of the cylinders and everything was ok. Next time I went out the motor over-revved as soon as I tried to get on plane and it stalled, I had to use my trolling motor to get back to the dock. My regular mechanic said the compression in one cylinder was gone. Whatever work was done clearly did not address the root cause of the issue. Now I need to rebuild the motor for $4000+, thanks J&B.

Only complaint is they did not bother to cover up the brand new deck I just spent many hours building. The mechanics managed to burn a hole in my carpet and get grease splatter on the deck. Jordan Jezierski: Called to get my boat out of storage. Had registration issues with the trailer so asked if they could put the boat in the water and drive it directly to my dock. (For a $125 fee) I agreed and scheduled it for the following week at ANY time as to accommodate their busy spring schedule. I didn’t hear back the whole week, not even a “hey we are crazy busy can we do next week?” I’m a very understanding person when business is done right. I called that Friday and they didn’t even know who I was. I scheduled it again and was apologized to and told definitely Monday or Tuesday of the following week. AGAIN no call or heads up. I called Thursday and told them I was coming tomorrrow to pick it up and to please have it ready. This time they remembered who I was but didn’t mention delivery of give any reason why I didn’t have it by Tuesday as promised. I looked inside and there was sand, dirt, leaves and and empty food container filled with rain water which means it was taken out of storage and left outside.A full detail was already paid for by the previous owner who sold it to me. I called and complained and they agreed it was supposed to be detailed and asked if I could bring it back. Are you crazy?? I will not be doing business with Hazzard at all.
