omar: My experience with harpers payroll company was horrible. I was promised by their salesperson George that they could both process my payroll and file old 2017 & 2018 state taxes. I told them how important it was I get the 2017 & 2018 taxes filed and they promised they would do it within the one month period I was allotted. I was then given the complete run around , sent to a payroll agent named Tammy who told me she had no idea about my taxes and sent me back to George, who then sent me back to Tammy who sent me back to George again who then sent me to Jay, the owner. It was ridiculous. Then they said they couldn’t solve my tax issue unless I ran my first payroll which was never said to me initially. They even quoted me $200 to do all this. I spoke to Jay ( the owner) 3 times total who said I must run payroll first before they can file my taxes . I sent in all the required papers for payroll and didn’t hear back from anyone. I contacted Jay again who said I need to send Tammy all my. Companies info. I told him I sent it over a week ago. He did not respond. Now it’s been a month and a half and they have still done nothing. Today I spoke with Jay again who said George never relayed to him the correct information. He then said, once I start running payroll they could file the taxes. I said I planned on running payroll this week so could he please start filing the taxes as promised and he replied, realistically you may want an accountant. I was shocked! They not only gave me the run around for over a month and a half but this will now cost me more money as I will be penalized. I could have went to someone else if they could have admitted that they were not experienced enough to file taxes. They also promised audit representation? Are you kidding? They can’t even file simple state taxes. Do yourself a favor and stare clear of this company. They are not very organized at all.

Ysanne and Paul Giordano: My accountant, God rest his soul as he passed away during the pandemic from COVID-19, recommended I go to this payroll company more than 20 years ago because they monitor the laws and he thought it would be cheaper then him running my payroll. Everything did go smoothly until I found out how after he passed I was being grossly overcharged for years compared to other companies. Their customer service is abysmal and they never get back to me and don't seem to care as well, even the supervisors were not helpful and did not get back to me AND THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THEIR SOFTWARE HAS BEEN DOWN FOR MONTHS FOR THE END USER. THIS COMPANY IS TOO BIG AND IT DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMER'S NEEDS. Mariely Maldonado: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!Zero stars would be more appropriate for this company.They are OK until you tell them you don't wan't their services anymore and once that happens they will withdraw fees from your account without your knowledge. Also they said that the fee for W3 is $75 & W2 are $6.75 per employee, once you are not longer their client they charge you $450.36 for the copies. And when you call them, they pass your call throughout 20 different departments and no one can help.The worst decision I have ever made was choosing this company.

Hugh Barry: Just like so many others', wish I could give the 0 star review. Customer service support for 401K is inexcusable. If you have even the simplest question, you will transferred to another department because the 401K cannot answer even the most basic questions. 11/28/2022, I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Paychex to obtain basic questions. The supervisors are not any better. Glad I moved my money somewhere else and will never have to deal with Paychex again.

My company was constantly overcharged and employees who didn’t sign up were enrolled even if they didn’t want to be and they then had money taken out of their paychecks. When I dissolved the account my employees got less than half of what were in their account due to “unexplained losses”. Would never use them again.
