Rick Soeprasetyo: I called this location at noon and spoke to Brian. I said I was coming to pick up a u box and Brian I formed me they closed at 7. I arrived at 419 to THEN find out their was noone forklift certified after 4pm. Information I should have received at noon. As a truck driver the laws did not work in my favor and I was stuck there until 7am. Had I been informed at noon that 4pm was the cutoff time I would have planned accordingly. Kristine was very sympathetic to Brian's mistake and even called the manager to see if he could come back since he had only been gone 19 minutes. Manager said no. Assistant manager Ike the following morning was very friendly dly helpful and sympathetic. Both apologized for Brian's incompetence. Brian took 0 accounta ility for the lie. (Which is docume Ted on my dash cam and uhaul records all calls.) I will still do business with uhaul SOLELY on Kristine and Ikes professionalism. However the manager not being accountable for Brian's incompetence and Brian himself being afraid to be accountable table tells me Brian needs a new line of work and Ike and Kristine need a promotion. The ignorance of Brian took money out of my wallet and food off my families table. In the non corporate world life would not have been as kind to Brian as I was. Alas. Good thing it was in a corporate setting with a person as calm as myself.Kudos to Ike and Kristine. Brian needs a job not dealing with humans.

Sileyda Sweet Cakes: Estuve 3 años rentando una unidad donde yo estuve guardado una moto 🏍 2021 ...y este año 2023 me sacaron la moto de la unidad por que no se puede tener nada con motor ....cuando en el contrato solo dise que no se puede tener gasolina.....la moto no tenia gasolina..... en el contrato dise que no se puede tener gasolina y la moto no tenia gasolina .... la gasolina sele sacó antes de ponerla en la unidad....... si alguien tiene un número de teléfono donde puedo presentar una queja para que me den un reembolso ya que realise mi pago por la unidad por el mes completo y no me permiten utilizar mi unidad....

Natalie P: Better then Belmont service wise . BUT do not I mean DO NOT rent a storage unit from these mfs. Mice everywhere. Not only that but half of my stuff was stolen and I know it wasn’t the movers too much of my stuff was taken . Definitely an inside job when the GM doesn’t even want to help out by looking at cameras . Pay the extra couple bucks save yourself the headache and put your storage elsewhere.

I V: Called and would never recommend as the person(assuming it’s the owner) is rude and has no customer service skills.
Nikki Kirk: To be honest, I was a little hesitant about this place when I read the reviews. I was moving out of my apartment and needed a storage unit the same day because our other storage place rented out our reserved unit by mistake. I called the owner of Worcester Self Storage Box, and told him that I am currently moving my belongings into a truck and would be down in a few hours. He told me to just give him a call when I was ready to come down.Well by the time we were done, it was 8:00pm. I called the owner again and told him we were ready. He said he was going to bed because he didn't think I would call this late. I explained that the same night, we were driving across the state, and we desperately needed a place to store our stuff that night.He was very understanding, and came to meet us at the storage place, which I promise you, looks much better on the inside, and the moving process was effortless. He helped us move our furniture into the unit, and when we tried to tip him for all of his troubles, he straight up refused. He's a quality guy, and I feel very comfortable leaving my belongings there. It's very clean on the inside as well.There's also options to insure your belongings for as little as $8 a month. Look into it! You can lock your units with your own lock, so there's no way anyone but you can gain access to it. I highly recommend Worcester Self Storage Box!

Dan Antar: This place should close down.They prices are OK, however they service is atrocious. You have to call to gain access to you're stuff. Worker can meet you but never before 9:30/ 10:00 am. There is no code gate or self access . When you call they say 9, 5:30 but it's not honored . Mice in building . Worker responded with don't leave a candy bar behind ... pay the extra 10 bucks and go to a professional place.It's old building turned into storage, meaning it is not well designed . No heat and you have to wait for worker to turn the light on .All and all huge upgrade is needed .

Nina Carter: The guy that is there is completely unprofessional and barely speaks any English apparently the owner of the building is out of the country so good luck getting anything considered customer service anything but easy. I rented a unit for less than a week and hadn't moved anything into it before I decided to get my money back because I was just offered an apartment the guy there told me that they don't do refunds and that he did not know how to do so he gave me a fake number to call and it's for a computer and technology company not even U-Haul or storage related I got screwed out of a hundred and $25 when I should have just pay the extra money to go to the actual U-Haul facility where they know how to handle all types of customer complaints and situations NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER GO HERE!Sidebar: you also have to call this guy who barely speaks English personally on his cell phone if you want to get into your unit you aren't given a card or code to access the building it's cheap and trashy and I don't understand how they get business.
Monique: It took less than 10 mins from the time I arrived till the time I pulled in to start unloading my SUV with registering and everything. When you park...park across the street in the little parking lot. I have to get the guys name next time...very nice...straight to the point...doesnt waste your time. Prices are lower than usual storage and the place was relatively clean. I would definitely recommend this over a name brand storage...save your money and your time! :). Oh they are also affiliated with uhaul but waaayyy cheaper so thats comforting.

Andrea McAuliffe: We needed a last minute reservation/delivery of a U-Box - on a Saturday (a busy Saturday). Adrian (manager) could not have been more helpful and patient with us. Adrian and Russ worked together through system and logistical issues to get us taken care of. Cannot thank them enough for their efforts in making it work. Thank you!!
Carl Cervini: On a slippery, icy morning, I had to rent a van to pick up some lumber at HD. I changed the order so I needed a bigger truck to handle the load. I called while at HD and explained my situation. They said no problem come on back and switch trucks. They had the paperwork and the new truck ready and waiting to go. They were all very professional from the first day counter girl to the General Manager of the store. Thanks for making the day a little easier. Great job!
Jeff Rezende: Probably the worst location I’ve ever dealt with. I had a half day rental and I was charged for 4 full days. I’ve been on the phone with customer service AND the worcester location’s manager a total of 7 times combined and I never received my money or a call back. Customer service closed the case multiple times without resolving the issue. Stay away from this location.

Isaac Dube: If I could leave zero stars I would. The manager at this place is awful! I made a reservation and upon arrival I was very rudely told my drivers license was fake and that they would not rent me a van. My license was issued in 2018 and does not expire until next year. I had to call the Worcester police station, have an officer show up and confirm my license was valid before they would rent to me. Over an hour of my time wasted.Throughout this whole process I tried my best to stay level headed, never even raising my voice. However the manager was rude, dismissive, and has no business working in customer service. After the the officer confirmed my license was real and simply an older version, she didn’t even apologize. She doubled down by taking a photo of me and my id on her personal cell phone and insisting she did that with every customer.Uhaul corporate if you actually read these reviews, it’s time to trim the FAT. This woman is costing your business money.

Johanna Lolax: The Belmont Street site has consistently refused to serve me. I am disabled and walk with a cane, and I had to rely on my husband to reserve a large unit for our temporary storage purposes. When we visited today to close out the unit, we were refused an inspection and a receipt for the closeout, though we are paid to date. There were no other customers in the store or onsite when we were there, and there were two employees available who were not busy - one was simply standing by a stack of boxes. But both refused - repeatedly - to walk across the street to our unit with us to inspect the unit so that we could remove our lock without worry of unauthorized use. When we were refused a receipt for closeout, we were told we had to return in 4 hours when the storage facility clerk would be in. This site had been great on customer serve for years, but this year, the service under new management has been extremely poor. There are other local UHaul sites and other storage and van rental firms in Worcester and other nearby towns. Save yourself the frustration, and use another firm.
Holly Williams: Staff was extremely unprofessional. Their radio system was on loud for all to hear and while I checked in, my wife pulled around back to the trailers. Clearly over the radio I hear “Some N****r out here trying to back up to the trailers, I’m about to call the cops on them” and the ladies at the front just laughed it off. They continued to joke back and forth with derogatory comments on the radio while I was being checked out while I could hear everything. They also continued to say derogatory comments around my wife while hooking up the trailer. Then they hooked us up to a trailer that before we left the lot found was coated with mud on the inside. In addition our lights were not working and they said “are you driving at night” we said no and they said it shouldn’t be a problem. Finally, we asked for a different trailer that was clean and they agreed to change it for us. They hooked up the chains wrong, which we discovered and fixed ourselves. The only good thing was that it turned out it was our electrical adapter that was causing the lights not to work and they ended up giving this to us for free. So some redemption at the end but a very rough road to start.
Mario E: Had a tow hitch installed on my new car. The installer treated the parts with care as he removed them. Service was top notch, quick, professional operation. Delivered as promised. Even went the extra mile to ensure my keyless sensor was relocated to not impact performance. All-in-all highly recommended. Keep up the great work!
Lindsey Murray: I had ordered 8 large wardrobe boxes that didn't fit in my suv. The 2 men and women working helped me load my car and strap the boxes to the roof. I had my 2 young children in the car and they made sure we all got home safely with our order. Big thanks to them for their professionalism and care!

The place reeked of weed and the 3 employees proceeded to state how there was a nationwide uhaul outage.... they couldn't do a paper slip (false), they would call later in the day (false) and they were sorry that we were without a truck.Am I venting? Yes. Do I feel like a valued customer? No. Do the folks at uhaul care? Absolutely not.Uhaul is the worst.

Suzanne: If this is the location near the hospitals on lake Ave than I had a great experience each time I have encountered dealing with the employees at Uhaul , entering my space and paying both in person and setting up online services. I called the same day and was able to secure a space for extra things for a family member. The parking is a bit of an issue but for the price I think if you pull around to the storage pods you can either cross the street or use Google to see if the times are less busy ! Setting up pre pay is an awesome choice to avoid the traffic and parking situation. All I all I am very happy her and inside the actual facility the area is impeccable. Not one spec of dirt or dust. The floors shine like a mirror and lights go on as you proceed along the path toward your bin. I recommend Uhaul as a place to rent and use for temporary storage.
