Michael Cordella: *Shrewsbury St.* The overhead doors to get in and out of the loading area are constantly broken. If the entrance door is working then the exit door won't work and vice versa. I think in the time I've been there both doors have only ever worked at the same time for maybe a week. Also half the time I go there the elevator doesn't work; there's constantly an issue with the door closing properly. The climate control is also inconsistent. Sometimes it's very hot and other times it's kind of cool but it's never the same temperature for more than a couple days in a row. I honestly don't know what's going on there. They went up on the price recently but still nothing gets fixed. Elevator never lines up with the floor and hard to move a cart in and out of. Place is a joke.

Nikki Kirk: To be honest, I was a little hesitant about this place when I read the reviews. I was moving out of my apartment and needed a storage unit the same day because our other storage place rented out our reserved unit by mistake. I called the owner of Worcester Self Storage Box, and told him that I am currently moving my belongings into a truck and would be down in a few hours. He told me to just give him a call when I was ready to come down.Well by the time we were done, it was 8:00pm. I called the owner again and told him we were ready. He said he was going to bed because he didn't think I would call this late. I explained that the same night, we were driving across the state, and we desperately needed a place to store our stuff that night.He was very understanding, and came to meet us at the storage place, which I promise you, looks much better on the inside, and the moving process was effortless. He helped us move our furniture into the unit, and when we tried to tip him for all of his troubles, he straight up refused. He's a quality guy, and I feel very comfortable leaving my belongings there. It's very clean on the inside as well.There's also options to insure your belongings for as little as $8 a month. Look into it! You can lock your units with your own lock, so there's no way anyone but you can gain access to it. I highly recommend Worcester Self Storage Box!

There is no code gate or self access . When you call they say 9, 5:30 but it's not honored . Mice in building . Worker responded with don't leave a candy bar behind ... pay the extra 10 bucks and go to a professional place.It's old building turned into storage, meaning it is not well designed . No heat and you have to wait for worker to turn the light on .All and all huge upgrade is needed .

I rented a unit for less than a week and hadn't moved anything into it before I decided to get my money back because I was just offered an apartment the guy there told me that they don't do refunds and that he did not know how to do so he gave me a fake number to call and it's for a computer and technology company not even U-Haul or storage related I got screwed out of a hundred and $25 when I should have just pay the extra money to go to the actual U-Haul facility where they know how to handle all types of customer complaints and situations NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER GO HERE!Sidebar: you also have to call this guy who barely speaks English personally on his cell phone if you want to get into your unit you aren't given a card or code to access the building it's cheap and trashy and I don't understand how they get business.
Monique: It took less than 10 mins from the time I arrived till the time I pulled in to start unloading my SUV with registering and everything. When you park...park across the street in the little parking lot. I have to get the guys name next time...very nice...straight to the point...doesnt waste your time. Prices are lower than usual storage and the place was relatively clean. I would definitely recommend this over a name brand storage...save your money and your time! :). Oh they are also affiliated with uhaul but waaayyy cheaper so thats comforting.

Trust if you need to rent a unit from self-storage trust you will be happy & satisfied with everything & don't have to worry about your rent going up every six months. They are the best & I will always go back to self-storage.

I'm hearing a lot of reviews about people's storage units being broken into. I promise you if I go and check and my storage units been broken into, thats gonna be a huge issue for them.

I reported a problem to C.S. because it was before mgr.'s hours. They were never told of the problem, then they lock the restroom because, as I was told someone was using it wash things. If they had listened to me in the first place they would have known someone was living there as I reported. The place is filthy + managers are just there. 0 rating in my 1st storage rental. I was paid for a full year + they gave me a date when the check was mailed. Wrong. Given a date a week later, wrong. Well, the 1st date was 4/11, when I finally received the check it was dated 5/13. This place is the pits!
Eric: I have rented from two CubeSmart locations witch including the one on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester and the smaller one which I definitely prefer is on the McKeown Road in Worcester. We enjoy the quiet, clean, less active older building on McKeown.. plus respectable staff is class.
Darrion Hazard-Johnson: This facility is not secure. My unit was broken into twice in the past month. You think after the first time, they would have taken proper measurements to prevent this from happening again.
Vivica Jade: My storage unit was broken into as well as other units in the building. my motorcycle and other very personal belongings had been taken. I got the call on Jan 13th, 2022 . My unit was on the 4th floor level in a "secured building". This must be something that happens frequently since when i went to pick up the keys for the new lock maintenance put on for me, the lady in the office with me said the same thing happened to her a few months ago here. Staff does not care. The regular elevators in the building had all been shut down and not working pretty much since ive had the unit for 1.5 years. So I would have to walk up 4 flights of stairs and or use the freight elevator if it wasn't in use which was very inconvenient especially being pregnant and having asthma.

Rick Soeprasetyo: I called this location at noon and spoke to Brian. I said I was coming to pick up a u box and Brian I formed me they closed at 7. I arrived at 419 to THEN find out their was noone forklift certified after 4pm. Information I should have received at noon. As a truck driver the laws did not work in my favor and I was stuck there until 7am. Had I been informed at noon that 4pm was the cutoff time I would have planned accordingly. Kristine was very sympathetic to Brian's mistake and even called the manager to see if he could come back since he had only been gone 19 minutes. Manager said no. Assistant manager Ike the following morning was very friendly dly helpful and sympathetic. Both apologized for Brian's incompetence. Brian took 0 accounta ility for the lie. (Which is docume Ted on my dash cam and uhaul records all calls.) I will still do business with uhaul SOLELY on Kristine and Ikes professionalism. However the manager not being accountable for Brian's incompetence and Brian himself being afraid to be accountable table tells me Brian needs a new line of work and Ike and Kristine need a promotion. The ignorance of Brian took money out of my wallet and food off my families table. In the non corporate world life would not have been as kind to Brian as I was. Alas. Good thing it was in a corporate setting with a person as calm as myself.Kudos to Ike and Kristine. Brian needs a job not dealing with humans.

Sileyda Sweet Cakes: Estuve 3 años rentando una unidad donde yo estuve guardado una moto 🏍 2021 ...y este año 2023 me sacaron la moto de la unidad por que no se puede tener nada con motor ....cuando en el contrato solo dise que no se puede tener gasolina.....la moto no tenia gasolina..... en el contrato dise que no se puede tener gasolina y la moto no tenia gasolina .... la gasolina sele sacó antes de ponerla en la unidad....... si alguien tiene un número de teléfono donde puedo presentar una queja para que me den un reembolso ya que realise mi pago por la unidad por el mes completo y no me permiten utilizar mi unidad....

I asked to if I could look at the unit to make sure it was sufficient space for my storage needs. He said “ sure hop in my Tesla “ and we did. His Tesla was a golf cart was still a smooth ride. Unit was clean and exactly what I was looking for. I suggest if your looking for a storage unit go talk to Angel.
Jennifer Castrodad: They increase your monthly rate tremendously. In 1 year I was increased $125 per month started at $214 per month now paying $339. Is ridiculous for the same size unit.

They did a good job of answering my questions.Within 3 minutes of hanging up Angel from Worcester called me and offered to provide any assistance with his facility. He was professional, informative and proactive. He offered to call me back when it was closer to my moving time. I appreciate his helpfulness.

Think Occasionally: Overpriced racket operating as a business.Staff is fine but the rates go up constantly. Super inconvenient for a mouse infested storage facility.Extra space is the opposite of a good business model.

Jada RoseStar: Bad business. Never stepped foot on to the property but got charged full amount and refused to be given a refund. Pitiful! I could understand a partial refund, but none at all?!? Rip off. Better Business Bureau was contacted and corporate. I’m disgusted at the lack of customer service there was and denying you have information for corporate that I have to google it. Well it wasn’t hard to do and I hope you lose your job. You don’t deserve to be in customer service being as rude as you were! Never go to Worcester Massachusetts location! Even told the guy when I rented it we may not need it and he said just call back and they would work with me. Ugh seriously unimpressed
