Caisey Berkiel: I was always happy with my insurance until I actually needed to submit a claim. Long story short, my car was hit/totaled in my driveway in the late evening while parked at home. This is where the nightmare began. When I somehow was responsible for $3,000 even though I wasn’t even in my car, we fought with claims for days to get that gap lowered (even though why should I pay anything while now I’m car-less, no money for a down payment, and don’t even qualify for a new loan...) so we called Paul because the adjusters/mangers etc. were so rude and uncaring when speaking with them. Here’s my problem, he heard our voicemail and sent it over for someone from claims to call me back. He doesn’t care enough about your business to return your phone call so go somewhere that does. You know who called and asked “are you okay?” THE OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY. It’s unfortunate because I don’t like to leave bad reviews, especially since he was referred to me by my cousin who does a lot of business with this man, but seriously? I bundled my home & auto, but after this nightmare, they have lost my business. And I got an almost $100 cheaper rate per month going elsewhere so seriously don’t waste your time & heartache. I lost my car I loved, thousands of dollars, and gave a huge mess in my yard to clean full of glass & car pieces. They’re so unhelpful.It’s sad that I felt like my own insurance company who I pay to protect me in these types of situations was more against me than the other drivers insurance was.The other insurance company called and told me ways to talk to my insurance company to help get me more money. These people don’t care about you. I feel much more confident that I made the switch, and I’m saving hundreds of dollars!Edit to add: that is correct, but originally, you tried to screw me out of $3,000. I had to argue several things on my vehicle to increase the value. Why should I have to do that? I would think you would want to help me as much as possible seeing as I was obviously not at fault.The note that was left is not accurate but I guess you would know that if you cared enough to look into the situation. I have young children too, and still have answered countless phone calls from the rude people on your end who use phrases such as “first of all.. second of all” when I call to ask questions. Unprofessional. Again, like I said I had no issues with your agency until I actually needed to submit a claim, which I’m sure all these 5 start reviews haven’t had to do. Your response shows your company’s character, making me out to be the bad guy when my car was hit in my driveway, and your original cash offer was missing several features on my vehicle and far below the average selling price. Unfortunately, none of the companies he works with had what I needed, but Paul took it on himself to do some research and get me pointed in the right direction, even though the right direction happened to be with one of his competitors. A really honest, stand up move that absolutely garnered my respect.Paul went so far as to follow up with me to see if I had been taken care of, and also asked me certain questions so that he could improve his own knowledge in the areas I was asking about.Great guy, highly recommended!

Vince Souza: I just received a phone call to my personal cell phone and my place of employment from Ken himself.I have never met or heard of Ken St. Onge.He started off by spewing out where he was calling from and whom he was representing: Commerce insurance. He claimed that I had "solicited" insurance for one of my customers I sold a car to. My customer complained about her current policy and asked if I knew of anyone that could help her with a referral.Now. Being the calm and intelligent professional person that I am... I figured other people should know of the shenanigans that happen in that Worcester office. If for one second you think this is a good place to get "cheap" insurance you are mistaken. Especially if you are a legal immigrant. Ken St. Onge has displayed today what is commonly referred to as selfishness. A person who is selfish does not deserve your business. I'm 100% certain he was angry about other things and this just broke the camels back. It's impossible that he was making soooo much $ off of 1 customer that he would threaten legal action. (this has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard of)Mr. Ken threatened to sue me under the pretenses of soliciting insurance without being an agent. Supposedly making referrals is against the law now (there's no crime in making recommendations especially when the customer has the freedom to make their own decisions).. Threatening to sue someone is also illegal unless you ACTUALLY intend to do it. He harrassed me at my place of employment AND on my personal cell phone. He's obviously mad that he lost a customer that he was unfairly charging high insurance for.I hope this is what you wanted. I hope your ears are nice and hot right about now. I'll patiently be waiting for your apology.

W Menorah: I just returned from a long awaited vacation and wanted to share my story. I travelled from Massachusetts to Western Ohio for a classic car event. I loaded my car onto my trailer and off I went. I prefer to travel at night because there is less traffic so I began my journey at 7PM. Each time I stopped to refuel, I would check the straps holding my car on the trailer to ensure the vehicle was safely attached to the trailer. One thing I never expected was to come around the back of the trailer at 2AM and find that my license plate had broken off and was lost somewhere on the highway! At 9AM, I called the Manero Insurance Agency and asked what to do as I was concerned about travelling back home without a plate on my trailer. Nick Manero answered my call. After he made some calls and did some internet searches, Nick selflessly left his office, headed to the Mass Registry and got me a new plate. Nick then went to the USPS and overnighted me the new plate and registration to the hotel where I was staying so I could safely travel back to Massachusetts. Nick used his own money to pay for the registration and the overnight mail constantly assuring me that it was not a problem and that my safe travels were his main concern and that we could square up once I returned.I am so grateful to have Nick and the rest of the Manero Insurance Agency in my corner. You never expect to have a problem arise while you are travelling but it's nice to know that if something does occur, you have some pretty awesome people who will go out of their way to help you.Thanks, again, Nick for allowing me peace of mind so I could enjoy my LOOOOONG awaited vacation!!

Andrew Churchill: Buying a new motorcycle and being as impatient as a kid on Christmas eve, I needed this bike on the road ASAP. As my insurance agent, Manero Insurance made it their first priority to work with me to create the necessary documents and get them to the correct places without delay. My agent offered to make the trip to the registry for me, and what really surprised me is when I said I could make the trip myself, he offered to drive out and meet me halfway to stamp my RMV-1! Go with the local agent.

Melissa: I would not recommend this company at all. I had them as an agent for about 8 years. They started off attentive and helpful and I would receive my information with attachments through email. Each year it got worse, they seemed to get lazy to where I would not get all the information through email; half-ass. The premiums would increase by several hundred dollars due to the fact that she/they were not looking for the best rate. I had to ask! When i found a new house, I was given a quote of about $1050 per year for homeowner's; Not even doing research (like usual). I went with another agent who found me a rate of about $400 less per year! When I asked Charlene to cancel the homeowner's of the home I sold, she said she did but, in fact, did not! Took 2 months and her "whatever" attitude is disgusting! Very unprofessional! Good luck if this is who you want to deal with for an agent. Unfortunately I had to highlight a star to post this review. But they are in the negative.

He is very unprofessional and irresponsible. After I spelled my name to him several times and emailed him my name, he entered it wrongly and said "I went by the email you sent me". I showed him the original email and he never apologized and said "the name is not important as long as the address is correct". I emailed him twice politely asking whether he can help change my name back (actually correcting his own mistake), he never got back, when I called after waiting several days, he said "don't bother me again".Never purchase anything from an irresponsible agent.
