Joseph Bagnell: Went and had a jacket and zip-up sweatshirt zippers replaced. He looked both over to see how much it would be and told me $45.00 for each. $90.00 for both. He wrote it down on the slips. Told me a month and they'd call. Almost two months later I get the call. I understand they must be busy and not many of these shops around. Went and picked it up and the $90.00 was scratched off and it was now $100.00. I looked it over quickly and the elastic string that you can tighten up around your waist on the jacket was broken. He fixed that. That week while I was wearing it I found 3 or 4 places on the side of the zipper tracks that weren't sewn. Went back and he fixed those. The sweatshirt is fine but the jacket had a few problems. I know he's busy but takes your time, look over the jacket to make sure it's done properly before you call the customer to tell them it's all set.

The woman there wasn’t nice and spoke to me sometimes like I wasn’t paying for the service but getting it for free when I made comments about the outcome. Her voice was on the high side and angry when giving me a response as to why the quality of the work is lower than I thought.When I came to pick up my shoes, I wasn’t impressed with the polishing of my black Oxford shoes, but the suede and the other shoes were polished just about good. Not a great service or quality overall. I would have preferred to pay a higher price and get a great result.Definitely not coming back!

The soles were also a grossly different color making for the ugliest looking outsole I have ever seen, on a pair of 300 dollar boots. Do not go here.

Roman repaired my three pairs of much-loved tall Timberland leather boots - completely new sole on one pair and just new heel soles on the other two that still had tread in front. The repair materials and workmanship both excellent quality!!He advised me on what work they needed and we had a great discussion about construction of footwear and what types of shoes were worth repairing. He also reconditioned the leather and dyed the heels to match the new soles on the boots that needed it.I love these boots and wear them A LOT and now I feel like I will get another 10 years out of them. Roman knows his craft and I would not hesitate to trust him with my favorite quality shoes.

They were sent to another shoe repair which threw on a new cheap looking stopper and pull which did not match (which bugged me), and broke immediately, after costing $40. On a whim I stopped in Arcade Shoe Repair, which I found on Google. He found a zipper that perfectly matched my other bootie, and had them fixed up in no time! Pricing was very reasonable at $25 for boots worth over $200. I noticed he even cleaned up the heels a bit which had some marks from a foster puppy chewing on them a little. I’m really appreciative and never going anywhere else for leather repair.I also love how the shop has a museum feel!
