Desktop Dina: WARNING: Does this fence project (with zero gates installed) look complete to you? Brandan said it was "90% done" but it was "weighing on his spirit" so he wanted to cut his losses and settle up. We paid for all the supplies out of OUR pocket so he had to put zero $ up front. We settled up for $700 in cash for labor. All we asked was that the front two pieces of fence be even (as in the same height) which required him to dig away about an inch of mulch), and to lower one panel if possible (again just required removing a little mulch from that panel to lower it a few inches). Apparently that was enough to break his "spirit" and caused him to quit mid-job.I give 2 stars because this was the 2nd project Brandan did for us - the other was cleaning up the front area and remulching (done last year) and installing a paved walkway. He did fine on that project.Overall, I'd say keep the job simple with Brandan and hopefully his "spirit" won't crack under pressure. Cleaning up yard debris, re-mulching, mowing, etc. Don't hire him for anything requiring anything more though or you run the risk of having to hire someone else to finish what he started.Very unprofessional. Very disappointed.This project was pretty important to us, but apparently it was only a "small job" for Brandan ... that he apparently couldn't finish.

The yard is a patch of weeds broken up with the occasional dead spot. I kept them on for a year and it's still a weed patch. My personal experience with their service was that they show up once every two weeks to mow for 15 mins and nothing else. I cancelled my service with them and never looked back.As for their plow service. They broke the neighbors fence and pulled up the edging stones before I purchased the property. I also kept the plow service for 1 season after the purchase and found the service mediocre at best. Half-hearted tries to get everywhere the snow fell and absolutely never did more then one pass. norm v: VIP is contracted by my condo management company to take care of the property.They failed to come out to salt / sand the stairs and walkways this morning. That was at 7:35 this morning at which time I slipped on the ice and landed on the stairs to the cars.After a call to our management company, VIP showed up at 10:00 this morning and put down about an inch of salt and finally did the walkways. One of the neighbors gave him a hard time about how much salt he was putting down and the driver’s response was “who cares”. He then told both my neighbor and I to go back in the house. The driver stated that he had been here 7 times already and doesn’t think that any one really fell.All I’ve got to say is, no problem monkey boy my attorney will be in touch.

Jack Delehanty: I needed a lawn mowed twice while out of town for a month, and VIP Landscaping was recommended. I called well before we needed service. My calls went unreturned. I finally reached them just before we left town, and was told "we'll get you on the schedule and call you back later in the week." I did not receive a call back. I tried calling again the following week and they were closed for the holiday (for a full week). No big deal; but my call was not returned the first day they were open again. I finally reached them 15 days after we first made contact, and was told "we weren't able to get you on the schedule after all." Apparently they didn't think it was necessary to call and tell me this.They may or may not do good work - I can't say, because their customer service was so poor that they didn't even bother to call to tell me that they couldn't do the work we had agreed upon.

Joe Lavallee: The owner went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work and checked in a few times after it was done to make sure the grass and plants were coming in properly. The crew that came to do the work were very nice and polite and worked as hard as they could to get the job done as quickly as possible. Highly recomend for any big yard projects or even maintenance.

Completely covered my car with debris, unfortunately I was late did not take picture. The leaves were not on anyone’s property on public street. I called the company and Megan was very nice brought a car wash gift card. However I pointed out that my car now has several paint chips. I followed up with phone calls never received return call. Knauer Australian shepherds: This company is horrible. I had an appointment set up for 2, no one showed up. When I called they rescheduled to 6pm, again no one showed up. No answer when i called. They next day I called and they sent someone right away. She promised to send a list of pricing over to me as soon as ahe got back to the office. I never received anything. I called the next day to see what was up and the guy said she was working on everything that had been discussed and it would be send right over. Its been a week and I haven’t received anything. Don’t waste your time on this company. Go somewhere else

Douglas Pendleton: We have been slammed with 2 bigs storms and we rely on VIP for snowplowing & shoveling. On the 1st storm I was disappointed that they plowed and carved up some of my lawn so I called them to complain. They explained why (very heavy snow) they showed concern and even more importantly, they did a stellar job on the most recent storm. You can tell the commitment of the folks you rely on when things don't go well, how they respond, and how the back up their promises. VIP treated me with VIP service which is why I give them 5 stars!
