Maya S: Parked my brand new Subaru in the allowed area while visiting my family for 15 minutes. The guy named Julio decided to tow my car, I was able to stop him from towing, but he still hooked it up illegally. All wheel drive vehicles can never be hooked up, only flat bed should be used. A five year old knows that! As a result, huge damage to my front bumper, tire and rim. In addition the power steering and balance is off as well. Charged me $110 NOT to tow it, and told me to deal with my insurance company. Later on I tried calling the towing company and speak with the manager or the owner to ask how to proceed with the claim. The person who answered the phone was rude, obnoxious and used profanity towards me. Hung up the phone and told me not to call again! I am beyond furious with these people!!

I waited 5 hours for Subaru roadside assistance and they still couldn’t even dispatch a tow truck. Tow truck was prompt and driver was knowledgeable on the situation. After the tow, the people at island auto were quick to get me in and treated me great knowing my situation. Woman in the front office was kind and had great conversation. Mechanic that worked on the truck was ver knowledgeable and while working on my truck would bring me on the shop to show exactly what was going on and how and what needed to be done. They got me in and out at a great price where other shops would try and gouge knowing I was an out of stater in a bad situation. I would recommend to anyone. Mariah Fuller: My experience with this towing company was by far the most unprofessional and unorganized experience I’ve had with any company in Worcester. I had to call them three times after they told me they didn’t have my car and to call every other company in Worcester before they finally realized that they had booked my car under the wrong name and model and they do have it. My father and I were both told on separate occasions that someone would be at their place at 7AM so my mother and I took a cab and were there waiting at 6:55am. I called them to ask when someone would be there and they said the person who ran that office is on vacation and they would have someone on the way soon. One hour later outside in the cold rain/snow no one had came. When we called they said no one was coming. We asked if they were going to inform us of that or if they were going to leave us waiting outside and the woman replied that she didn’t know our names or numbers so they weren’t going to say anything. As if the numbers that we had called on 4 times in the last hour were not in the phone system at that time. My father then asked if we could just receive a phone call when someone is going to be there because we need the car and she said that wasn’t normal protocol…I hope none of this was normal protocol and they could simply make an exception so my father explained they could either call us when someone was available at the office or he was gonna call every 20 minutes and the woman hung up on him. When you work in a business that has a heavy portion of customer service it is the company’s job to go above and beyond to make sure they are accommodating especially when they had already messed up so badly. My mother and I took a cab and were stranded in front of the office outside for over and hour simply because they told both me and my father someone would be there at 7am. I am not an unreasonable person but the way this was handled was beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. They messed up and instead of being apologetic and graceful they were disrespectful and rude. I would not recommend this towing place, save yourself some trouble and go anywhere else because they don’t care how they treat you and will leave you waiting in the cold.Service:Special vehicle towing

When she got out of the hospital a few days later she went to her car and she had like $45 in coin in her cup holder door. That was gone. She still owns the car and the driver who let her in the locked lot said oh well. So she is out her hard earned money and they probably had lunch in her. They have contract with the Worcester Police department and Millbury Police department. I think once I let them know I hope they drop the contracts.

Jessenia Kolaco: I got my inspection at the beginning of the month. It failed and I was told my markers were out and my license plate lights were out. I just went to the mechanic and I was told all my lights were fine. Also after the inspection I was the paper was given to and the "inspector"said something underneath your car is loose and he walked away. It was my first time as a new driver getting an inspection and I believe it was definitely unprofessional.
