E.L. Music: what do users think?
John H: I took a Squire Standard J-Bass in for a setup, told them how I liked it and wanted it, and the gauge strings I would prefer. It was ready in 2 days and the setup is PERFECT and better than I expected. The staff is friendly, takes the time to talk and hear about your likes and dislikes, anc VERY knowledgable. I'm certainly glad I discovered this Music Shop and have no plans to go anywhere else. Thanks for the great service.
Tyler Knapp: As a newly aspiring bassist, I brought my first (very cheap) bass here for a set up. What I got back felt like a huge upgrade. Matt was wicked easy to talk to, shared some knowledge with me, and I walked away feeling like I should have come here first to buy (instead of a cheapest thing I could find online).I got home to find my first two frets didn't sound great. They were very receptive to bringing it back in, and had it singing beautifully in ten minutes. I never felt like a bother for bringing it back, and see why they have such a stellar reputation for service
Matt McLeod: This is an awesome gem in Worcester. I have come in the past few months as a new customer and it is a great experience. Matt is very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He set up a few of my George Lynch model guitars and they play wonderfully. I will most certainly continue to come any time I get a new guitar or a restringing is needed. Fairly priced and fast service given the quality! Highly recommend!
Julie Sullivan: Matt and Christine are the best and they know their stuff--go buy your musical instruments here, repair them here, and take your lessons here! Joe is a wonderful piano teacher and we're grateful our boys can learn from him!
Christopher Bartlett: Matt is super knowledgeable and just fun to chat with. He let me try out an SE Silver Sky and it was already set up perfectly! I told him I’d have to think about it, but within a day I knew I wanted it. It was Saturday night after closing so I messaged the store through Facebook to ask about color options, expecting them to get back to me on Monday. But then they responded super fast! On a Saturday night!!! I came in on Monday and bought the guitar and immediately began playing when I got home. Even though it’s a half hour drive away, I plan on only shopping here for my music gear. Thanks for the great service and stellar guitar!
Michele Miller: Wish I could give Matt 10 stars here! We have known Matt for many years and can't thank him enough for his professionalism and quality service! Check out his place before you head out to any other music stores!
YUKKON LA MUZIKARIA Yukkon 69: Nice area
John Lawrence: As a semi-professional guitarist & bassist I highly recommend Matt and his team as "the go to guys" when you want just about anything related to music. Big box and retail online stores are good but the folks at E.L. Music "are great" for hands on professionalism, respect and understanding to help you reach your musical goals and needs.
VenusDeMilitant: Highly recommended!!!!!
Ron B.: Matt is down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. When a pricing error occured he went above and beyond to make things right. I couldn't be happier with my guitar or the service I received. Visit E.L. Music, you will not be disappointed.
Joseph: I highly recommend E.L. Music for repairs. Matt, Kristine, and Jay handle each situation meticulously and will go above and beyond with extreme patience. This will be a place I will always come back to if I ever need any of the services they provide.
Anthony Brown: Love this music shop, great people and nice turtles
ian hickey: Great music store. Support local.
Jai Burdick: Pretty decent selection of music supply and equipment. Small guitar and amp selection but pretty cool in here regardless!
Justin R: Absolutely love this place. Matt is such a good guy and great to work with. He’s helped me out many times. Very cool vibe in the store as well. Best place for music in the Worcester area by far.
Matt Surabian: Had a couple of guitars setup here and they came back quickly and in great shape. One of them was older and neglected and now it has a new lease on life.
Sandra Prendiville: Return easy peasy
Mawuli Kwame: Great Place to shop or rent. I found out they teach you too. The lady at the desk was very knowledgeable, Helpful and had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend this shop for all your musical needs.
Rapunzel Miller: Friendly and efficient service!
Alexandra florez: Very nice lady, patient and professional too!
Bob Czesnowski: Very friendly and helpful

Union Music: what do users think?
David Marchand: Brought my powered mixer in for service and mark did a great job getting it back to working order. I have been coming here for years. Excellent place with great people who are musicians themselves.
ian hickey: Had some work done on a guitar here and it was reasonably prices and ready on time.
Mark Laferriere: Staff is the best... Great little mom & pop store.. Bob and paul are 2 of the nicest guys in the music industry.. very knowledgeable fellows🤔🤔😉😉😉😉😉
Barry Vinik: I want to personally thank Paul Bronnes, Bob Sarkala, Michele Barabash, and the rest of the Union Music staff. With Paul troubleshooting the clarinet that I recently purchased confirmed my suspicions about the mistake I made as the seller misrepresented the instrument. You were kind enough to direct me to a Buffet Crampon that you had in your showcase that I eagerly purchased at a very reasonable price.I must add that I drove in from New Mexico to visit my son, so I'm very happy that I brought the instrument with me, based on an earlier conversation I had with Bob, before I left.I highly recommend your store based on knowledge, honesty, and friendliness.
Wilfredo Rivera: very good ,the attendance very courteogeus
guitarswami: Great service, deals and excellent staff!
Ritik Rao (RitikR): Great friendly guys! Did an awesome setup for my Schechter Omen-6.
Jai Burdick: The widest selection of music equipment in Worcester. I prefer shopping locally over Guitar Center, and this place makes it easy to find what you need!
Daniel Diehl: Had my keyboard for about 2 weeks to repair some clacky keys. About a week or two later the keys were back to where they were and seems as though minimal repairs were made. I frankly expected more for the price they charged and time it was there. They do, however, care about their business and it is a good place to shop at.Edit: The store contacted me and I’m going to bring it back in and see what they can do.
Joseph Murphy: Brian was super friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me out w setup for a new Fender Strat. Lots of inventory and repair services if you need them.
George Munoz: Excellent service. Exceptional guitar repair services. Best prices in Worcester County.
Tom Beaudreau: Not very busy as I had expected. I looked at some very nice acoustic guitars. The carry Larrivee 😊
David Buda: Love it he store. It has a nice collection of instruments coming in and out. Some consignment guitars and basses. Great people, and they don’t try to sell you when your browsing!
Cyber Scar: Bought an USB audio interface for recording. I really didnt even know it existed. Will try kt later tonight. Great service
Jessica Leonard: Down to earth and knowledgeable staff. And the ukulele club is extra fun.
Sean O'Connor: Great local music store! I recently needed a gig bag for my son's electric bass, looked online at Amazon, Sweetwater etc, went to Guitar Center and ended up buying the same gig bag at Union Music that I saw everywhere else and it was $10.00 less than all the other places!
G. B.: I was never able to get signed-up for lessons despite using their online platform and calling several times. There seems to be a disconnect between the administrators and the teachers that makes this place dysfunctional.Edit: See the response from the owner below. True, I was informed that the admins have spoken to the piano teachers (only after I call them to ask about the delay in response); however, I was never contacted by a piano teacher to setup a lesson. Additionally my schedule wasn't unusual... if I remember correctly I put on the form that I am fully available Monday through Friday.Owner, you already have good reviews here, no need to posture. I hope you learn to use feedback to better your business and yourself.
Richard Cahill: Great people, used and new equipment. Really like this place. Been going there for years
Judith Johnson: A friendly mellow atmosphere. My granddaughter & I ENJOYED our experience there & they had exactly what we were looking for. We will return.
John Harper: Good local music store
Mike Layne: Good selection of guitars.Lots of new Guild's..

Guitar Center: what do users think?
Dianne Mondor: This place is really not the place too shop ordered a product on 3/12/23. Never received it and could not get any help with a credit because it was damaged and sent everywhere except Ma .No one was able too help us in the right direction .If a product is damaged on your behalf you should credit immediately....We will no longer be ordering anything from here again.Note too buyer's do not order from this Co.One if the worst experiences I have ever had ordering from this store ...Horrible.....
Christopher Pero: These guys are a bunch of hacks, I brought my Kramer in, have it set up so the Floyd rose is floating rather than sitting flush, neither of the sales guys knew anything about it and suggested that it was broken, I overheard one of them say I just throw the guitar out. Will NEVER do business here again, ZZounds is a better option and even on the phone the techs are more helpful than GC
ian hickey: Found what i was looking for. The used selection is usually ok.
Mark Laferriere: Big selection but nothing for the more established player... and the fact that they do not take trade ins anymore is a real bummer... Poor selection of bass guitars.. They apparently don't set their instruments up when they put them on the wall.. every bass I picked up neck you could sail a ship off of it.. Sad.. Only takes a minute to do a quick set up....
Christopher Simpson: It's a guitar center.
Michele Stjacques: Son is drummer. This store is his automatic go to place for his equipment. Sales people very knowledgable to needs helpful and attentive
Nicole R. Case (Nrcase76): My son loves trying out all the guitars drums and pianos before we decide on the one(s) we purchase(d). Great employees that are always eager to help and inspire. Has all the replacements for what instruments need them when we need them. (Guitar strings,. Tech help and support.) Great place just to visit and spend time enjoying the various instruments.
Adam Stewart: One of the worst guitar centers I’ve been in. Avoid! Their website never seems to be accurate on inventory at THIS store. Never again…
Reese Skeean: Amazing teaching from both guitar and drum teachers. I’ve been taking lessons here for a year now I wouldn’t choose a better place.
erick saavedra ruiz: De todo un poco
kali b: i work in a store at the millbury plaza and i have been considering picking up an instrument. i went down to GC and had a really nice visit and interactions with the staff. i was nervous and intimidated going into a store like this not knowing pretty much anything about instruments. i was hoping for a violin to start playing myself and the staff working were extremely helpful and kind and did not make me feel bad. luckily they had what i needed and for a student violin, its very nice! i appreciate the help and especially the guy that found me the violin + the cashier dude who kept me company and made it feel less awkward (:thanks guys 3
Nick DeMarco: Have no issues with the staff, they're good as far as I can see but I'm sure this is a corporate issue. PLEASE hire someone and/or give the staff the proper resources to set up the guitars right . Went in the acoustic room the other day and almost every guitar had really old dead strings. Even the ones that were locked I could tell the strings were old. Also almost every acoustic had some sort of neck or intonation issue. A lot of guitars desperately need truss rod adjustments. Even a couple months back my father was looking at a fender strat and immediately the set up was awful. The b string was raised almost a quarter inch above the rest. Working in retail for most of my life I definitely feel like this is a corporate issue. It's really sad and disappointing to see these instruments get so neglected. Will always shop at Sweetwater from now on
Michael Coleman: A large variety of guitars the staff was very professional and knowledgeable I was visiting from New Hampshire by way of Mississippi.
Edward L: I bought a great sounding Taylor - I'm a happy camper , played Martin's and Taylor's and picked the taylor
Kirklan Doherty: Friendly staff that got me what I asked and knew what I was talking about without any explaining.
Shandog: Great time you get to play everything no hassle, Even bought a guitar.
Ricardo Angomas: Me gusta para adquirir intrumentos musicales
zach parrish: Beyond dissatisfied:I’ve had several abysmal experiences with this store. When I started a band a few years ago, my bass player and I went to the Milbury location to buy him an amp. They had the one in stock that was exactly what he wanted. INSTEAD, the sales person insisted that he buy an amp that was fifty watts less powerful and ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS more expensive. His reasoning? The top of the amplifier reversed and latched to form a handle. Wow…In the market for a quality used electric guitar, I ordered a PRS that, on paper, seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. I ordered it online and had it sent to the Milbury store for pickup. Upon looking at it, the guitar was shipped in a gig bag that was too small for the instrument, (the headstock was sticking out,) and all the pots were scratchy. I barely got any sound when I plugged into an amp. I spoke to the sales rep and he asked me if I paid for their protection plan. When I said I hadn’t, he scoffed and moved on to other consumers. WHY SHOULD I PAY MORE FOR SOMETHING BROKEN THAT I DON’T EVEN OWN?!?!I brought in my SG special to get the pots changed out so I could accommodate passive pickups. After waiting TWO MONTHS, the tech said he couldn’t get four 250k pots from the distribution warehouse. I ordered them on eBay and got them in a couple days. The guitar was THEN modded and returned. Finally, I had an acoustic electric guitar and Thunderbird bass I wanted to sell that were both in pristine condition. (I take very good care of my guitars.) For no discernible reason, they refused claiming they couldn't give me anything for them.Never again. They have screwed more musicians than Napster and Pamela Anderson combined.
Rebly Rebly: Nice store
Stefan Strychar: Long time shopper here, always had great service - but today I walked in, looked around for 20 minutes and left without even being greeted. Two guys on the floor, one was unpacking boxes and checking out a customer and the other dude didn't look up from his phone the entire time. No eye contact from either one. Shame.
Joe Blu: Check in for their used gear they have great pieces sometimes

Music & Arts: what do users think?

riggenmordy: Very helpful employees
SEAN WALSH: Needed a mouthpiece for my sons trumbone. They gave me a great deal and were very friendly
Kathleen Nagy: Great little music store. Plenty of music teachers for all instruments. Great selection of guitars and accessories. Also pianos and orchestral instruments for sale.
Amanda Horan: The staff and teachers are wonderful and helpful.
Mark Berezin: The salespeople were very nice and attentive, but not the most knowledgeable. The showroom was full, but they didn't have a very wide selection of keyboards.
Barbara Shumaker: Good service good food.
Tara Schmehr: The music teachers are amazing, and the people who run the front are very nice.
Crystal A: The sales associate was extremely helpful. Overall good experience and great atmosphere.
Cherie Lundberg: It has any instrument you can think of and really helpful people working there.

Alice Bucca: As a piano teacher, I buy all of my student needs from this store. The prices are fabulous and the service is 2nd to none. I love this place.
Tooba Waqar: Very big store!! Staff is super friendly!! And very helpful!!
Aaron Silverman: Just had a great experience here between Andrew and Curtis. I will be back....again and again. Shop is clean and tidyBoth genuinely nice dudes. Thumbs up.
Thomas Taylor: Easily the most polite, caring and talented people in the business. 13/10
Christina Slocomb: Wonderful customer service both online & in store. I rented for my daughter and the whole 2 year experience was perfect. From initial delivery straight to school to easy replacement (with insurance) & return drop off. They offer lessons onsite & all the supplies you'd need. Hope my daughter takes up another instrument so I can continue with them.
Patricia Libby: This store is the best! We bought our son a piano here about a year ago and he couldn’t be happier with it, we told Andrew what we were looking for and he hooked us up with exactly what he needed. So when we wanted to add am AMP to enhance his sound we called the store and again talked with Andrew and once again he hooked us up with what he needed. Which not for nothing wasn’t what I thought he needed! and he is thrilled!! All of the staff here is great!! If anyone is looking for a place to get what they need regarding music instruments and or accessories this is the place to go!!!!10++ Service!! Thank you for all you’ve done for us!!!
T Brittain: If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Chris and Andrew just saved Christmas for me! I knew nothing about ukuleles, but Chris gave me some great recommendations, told me what to look for and helped to keep me in my price range. I placed my order over the phone with Andrew in under two minutes, and was able to check one more thing off of my Christmas list. I truly appreciate the personalized service and look forward to working with them again!
KC Webb: Great overall experience. I was helped over the phone by Richard and in person by Andrew. Great service! They had pretty much everything I needed, but to be fair I had some odd requests. They were willing to research and get the items I needed in a time frame that worked for me. 100% would recommend and I will be back when I need more gear! Thanks guys.-KC
Cindy Cordova: What a wonderful staff! Professional and knowledgeable! My son loves his guitar teacher and always leaves his lessons smiling! Never once had a bad experience here! Definitely the place to go for musical instruction and/or instrument purchases and rentals!!
Kayla Davis: Staff is friendly, and it's nice to hit up the brewery after

David French Music Co: what do users think?
Mark Houser: Returned the instrument and they charged for multiple months after it had been returned. Save yourself the hassle and buy one somewhere else.
Debbian Smith: Pro
M. Collins: Wouldn't recommend this company if it were the last one on earth to sell/rent instrument's. Absolutely horrendous customer service, no support. Oh, not to mention don't EVER miss or be late on a payment because they'll have their attorney mark up the market value of the instrument 3X's it's actual worth and they'll have the police come to arrest you for a $300 flute. Save yourself the anxiety and purchase your instrument on Amazon, I guarantee you'll find a better brand/style and new version for a heck of a lot less than what David French Music Co. will gouge you for. Found a much better flute and newer for $159. This company is a scam and is only surviving off of the people who are referred to them by the schools. I will be going to the schools in the area and informing that the students and parents can get their instruments for better pricing and customer service.
Poku: I got a cello from their and I had it for a year honestly I loved that cello and it was great but around two months ago the bridge snapped and we dropped it off their we came back a week ago because of their hours. I have been using a different cello since then as I am now a size up but today I went to practice on the cello cause I thought why not have this one at home to practice on as I took it out I heard a little bit of clatter that clatter I soon learned was the strings to my cello. They gave me back the same cello after over a month of having it. It was in the same condition. Nobody had even touched it nor seen my cello mind you they called us and told us it was ready and that we could pick it up. I am so mad right now and honestly I don’t why we’re paying a monthly fee for something I can’t even use. 2 stars
Jane L: Finally arrived to school...------------Well, they didn't show up today. Kid checked with teacher before lunch and after lunch. Nothing.Next time to see the teacher is Friday. Had another class watching other kids learn and another week have nothing to practice on.---------------Update: got called back now and promised Monday. Will raise the stars when the delivery is completed and instrument is good to use.------------------The clarinet they sent to school doesn't work. On Monday, the teacher tried to assemble but one part just didn't stay in place. We tried to call but no one answered. Left message no one called back. Called today again and was told earliest delivery of a replacement will be next Friday. By then my kid would have missed 2 weeks of practice and 2 classes. It is frustrating to sit in the class with a broken instrument and watch the other kids learning and playing. You can do better than just waiting for a whole week to fix a mistake.
Damien Knox: Great establishment with friendly staff that is extremely knowledgeable and customer focused
Christina LaCoe: Great service! Our daughter's instrument broke the day before her concert, and they were able to supply a loaner and we had her instrument back the next day in time for her concert!
Rin Wolter: After having my bassoon for about seven years but yet never actually having it tuned up it was in pretty bad shape. Jake brought it back up to playing condition beautifully and I am so happy with how the repairs went.
J.: lady answering the phones at David French Music CO. was a doll. I appreciate that. The, guy's working in store should probably know more about the supplies they sell. I myself am learning along with my child so I think people selling the materials should have the answers for any of our questions?
Daniel Carroll: Contracts are straightforward, associates are friendly and knowledgeable, affordable prices. You won’t find any store like David French nearby!
Kevin Donegan: Great shop! I bought my Yamaha trumpet here and they had an excellent stock of Xeno and Artist Model horns to choose from. Adam is a fantastic tech and does a great job servicing my horn with attention to detail. It always comes out looking better than new!
Joe LaRocca: I was in need of a great professional clarinet and they were super helpful, laid out about 20 instruments for me to play and then cleaned and put all of them away! I couldn't afford it right away, but they setup no interest financing and now I am able to make payments on it. They even gave me a few days to come up with the down payment. I would recommend this business to anyone of any level!
Mary McFee: Friendly, caring & knowledgeable staff. Well stocked with all sorts of music supplies.
I E: Best service - highly professional and friendly! They have a really great choice of instruments.
Megan Hutchinson: Extremely helpful staff, quick to respond to email questions and super professional. Wish more companies would take a page from their book of customer service.
Jed Lavoie: The people here are super nice and helpful. The showroom is beautiful. The integration with the school systems is outstanding and made the whole instrument rental process a breeze. Highly recommended.
Joseph Brogan: Excellent company, helpfull staff
Mark Holloway: Nice people overall. But I got my sax serviced there and it's come back to me with more issues than when I first dropped it off. Screws coming loose, poor setup where keys are not seated right....
Jeremy Dodge: In the day and age of big corporations taking over our local businesses, French Music is the neighborhood music store. Their customer service is second to none. They know there stuff, and truly take pride and care in helping each young musician or professional musician in whatever way they can. Eric French is determined to not sell the brightest and most expensive, but to provide each person with what will fit them best in their music career at this point. Whether it is a student model instrument, the right mouthpiece, or serious repairs, I would recommend French Music to all musicians. As a saxophone player I have found that their repairmen go above and beyond in their service, cleaning each instrument, and providing meticulous repairs. For every serious musician the music shop can be a part of your family, and this is what French provides.
