John Wendeborn: I can't really comment on the "dining" portion, only the entertainment. And even then, basically only the bowling part, which I describe below.Overall, it's a solid bowling alley and for $23 you get bowling, pool, and a big arcade.The lanes here are pretty solid. For those that know what they're doing, I've never bowled on any truly terrible lanes here, but they are also rarely consistent. Err on the side of dry, as you'd probably expect. But also don't come here expecting pro-level, or even league-level oil patterns and quality.For anyone who is just here to have fun and bowls a straight ball, the lanes are great. Plus, there seem to be plenty of balls of varying weights and finger sizes.Starting for each lane is reasonable. For the majority of the lanes, 4 people can comfortably sit, but a 5th can be squeezed. So if you have 6 people on a lane, pretty much everyone can sit at once. If you have more, there is standing room behind the lane that works well.Technical issues do crop up from time to time, but can either be fixed by us or by a technician pretty quickly. Scoring is generally accurate and the controls are pretty simple and robust if anything does happen.I also periodically play pool here. The tables, cues, and balls are all in perfectly good condition, but I'm also no expert. Space will only ever be an issue if lots of people are around, but you can usually just politely ask them to move a bit so you can make your shot.Kid-friendliness: It's bowling. It's kid friendly.

Kyosuke Nonoyama: I almost never leave bad reviews but I can’t go without saying how this was probably one of the worst meals I’ve had while dining out.. came in for the mussels, also got the oysters, soft shell BLT and clam spaghetti. We knew when the mussels came out that it was going to be bad. The only thing good was the oyster which has no cooking involved. Really bland, as if there’s something missing. Just over all mediocre as hell, if ur gunna spend money on this I definitely recommend going somewhere else. Funny enough we went to saltie girl 5 min drive away after this and had a way better time with their mussels. Felt like I was in an episode of a Gordon Ramsay show.. sorry to the hard working staff!!

Holly McKee: Made it clear to the waiter that I had celiac, he recommended I order the frittata from the brunch menu, and three hours later I was having a severe glutening reaction. The symptoms lasted for almost a month so clearly more that just a mild cross contamination, there must have been straight up flour in there. Please train your staff better, encourage them to check with the kitchen if they’re not sure, or atleast mark the menu to clearly show what is safe for allergies. Drag show was great tho!

Michael Pina: I am disappointed with my recent experience here. It was my seafood restaurant on Sundays when I didn't get out of town for a day trip for a while. I haven't eaten here since b4 the pandemic though. I came to S S with a friend I have not seen in 30 years, and our family's. We ordered the dumplings, and calamari for apps. Both were just ok. Dumplings were cooked too much, calamari was just not any better than my local pub. I had the grilled shrimp and scallops which was definitely overcooked. And the sides with it were trying to be fancy but were not complimentary. My friend had fried clams w/ bellies which were ok, but not like you get in Plymouth. The kale and beet salad was too salty and kale very chewy. I did not ask my guests about their meals but they did not say they were even good. I know the menu choices have shrunk. I used to get a nice piece of grilled steak fish or a broiled fillet or a special, but no longer. Prices were also quite high. I realize all restaurants have gone up, but for these $$ you should leave talking about how good the food was. Service was mediocre. We got what we wanted, he was going through the motions. It feels like the care and love of the food has gone out of the restaurant. I won't go back till I hear they have renewed their menu. Where is Jasper??

Marie Nilson: Underwhelmed and disappointed by our experience here. We dined here on a quiet Tuesday evening yet the service was slow and inattentive. The quality of the food was good however, in my opinion, signicantly overpriced. The salad was fresh and tasted good but very expensive for a not so generous portion. The clam chowder was disappointing. The clams and temperature of the chowder were perfect but the broth tasted watered down and was covered in oyster crackers (I prefer them on the side). The lobster roll was good but not the best I’ve ever had. The lobster was no doubt fresh but the bun and sauce was subpar. Considering the reputation of this restaurant I was disappointed and don’t plan on returning. Not a bad restaurant, just maybe not my first choice for seafood in Boston

Allison Smith: This place has good food but it’s extremely overpriced despite it being in downtown Boston. Three crab legs for $100–plus. Their hostesses were some of the most rude individuals I have ever encountered in the food industry—as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry. Couldn’t be bothered to speak to customers, texting on their phones constantly, super rude when questions were asked. Disappointing.

Ramdas Pisharody: The restaurant is on the waterfront and we were a group of 20 and were allocated a large sized room. The cocktails were nice and I enjoyed the spicy strawberry margarita. Jade Doe: Brought my family out to eat here and was extremely dissatisfied. The service was terrible, the quality of food didn’t compare to what we expected. Server brought out each of our meals separately, my husband and my grandfather waited over an hour for their entrees. Calamari was over cooked. My husband ordered the filet mignon, they didn’t even bring out the right steak. They claimed that they didn’t have any mashed potato’s left and instead of asking for an alternative side preference, they brought out a plate with nothing on it but carrots and a piece of sirloin steak. This whole night has been a disappointment as well as an embarrassment.

Called in advance to make a reservation, was told they would check what time and put me on hold for 15 minutes. I was nearby anyway so I walked over and got right in. Was seated and I'm still waiting for a waitress after 15 minutes of sitting at the table. Likely won't be able to try any of the food here.Update-when we did get service (fyi..place was not busy), the food arrived quickly and we had the trio sampler which was excellent. Kelly Cambridgeport: Emmets, where have you been all my life? I took a different walking path to the Boston Athenaeum and came across this cute pub. On my way back home, I decided to try it out. The onion soup and the fish and chips are both remarkable. The fried fish is one of the best I have tasted, and I have eaten many a fish and chips. Fries were piping hot, coleslaw creamy and top-notch. Full ketchup bottle on the table. The servers were very attentive and friendly. They checked frequently on their guests and refilled water. Definitely coming back. Hostesses were very helpful and friendly.

Zachary Orsulak: My lunch salad included a bunch of raw chicken. I guess neither the person on the grill nor the person that sliced it noticed that it was cold and raw in the middle. I tried to be fair and reach out to the restaurant first regarding a resolution, but all I got back was a form response asking for the check number, the payment info, and a list of ALL the items that were ordered. This was a very large group order, so I don't have most of that information. Because the restaurant didn't care to reach out in person to apologize, I'm instead uploading the photos here. If you dine at Maggiano's check to be sure that your food is cooked. If it isn't, and you get sick, don't expect the restaurant to take it seriously.

dongying jiang: Very tasty, delicious food. The mussels tasted somehow better than other places I had before. The lobster is also very sweet, but after we take it back with a to go box. Tony Huynh: Great food, and great view, and best of all no wait time. We tried the clam chowder, fried clams and lobster roll. The clam chowder is one of the best clam chowder I ever had. They give us a generous portion of clam chowder for around $8. The chowder was thick and creamy and full of clams. The dills also add a nice touch to the dish, it compliments the chowder without overpowering it. The fried clams were really good, the clams were tasty and juicy. However do be careful with the clams, we did get some clams that taste kinda odd, and 2 members from our group get stomach ache after, that might or might not be from eating these clams. The lobster roll is pretty good with a generous portion of fresh lobster meat. We paid around $70 for the three dishes. Overall it's worth it to come here for their clam chowder and the great view

Marie Kern: Amazing chowder!! If you get anything that is for sure what you should order. Unique dill flavor incorporated that made the chowder top notch in our book. Also ordered the lobster roll and that was very good. One thing to note is that it comes cold, although they were willing to make it hot for us which we took them up on that offer. Hot lobster roll was great and one of our favorites in Boston so far during our visit. Prices for chowder and fish was all very fair. Drinks are definitely on the more expensive side and there is currently construction going on with the front of the building so there was noise from that so request to be seated near the middle.

scott terry: After reading a review while planning my visit to Boston the family decided this was a "must visit" destination. We had wanted to eat dinner here but we're unable to get a reservation but we're able to procure a lunch reservation the next day. After visiting I don't think we would have needed a reservation because when we left the place seemed empty. That said the limited menu seemed decent enough and the Alsatian pizza had a good flavor and I personally love a good char on my crust. Our server seemed overwhelmed as drinks came late and one of our wines was definitely wrong. Our 2nd order was on the house as there wasn't enough for a full glass. The ambiance was typical of any mom and pop pizza shop anywhere in America. All in all it was good just not worth all of the hype.

Ravikishor Kumar: We were here for dinner on a Saturday evening and were given a bar table even without a reservation. Their chicken wings with hot honey was good, great list of pizzas even. Their pizzas are usually charred but they do consider in case you want it lightly cooked. They have awesome ice creams. We tried the coffee with dark chocolate chips and a brownie which was the perfect end to our dinner.
