Saus Boston: what do users think?
Jennifer B: What a delicious sandwich! Found this place on TikTok and so happy I got to try it! Just got the classic sandwich but it was delicious the mayo was on point! The large fries were plenty for two people!Recommended dishes Sandwich …More
Maria Gariepy: Haven’t been to Saus since pre covid days and it still holds up to the first time I tried their poutine. The chicken sandwiches are HUGE for $11. Great prices and fast service.Recommended dishes Fries and Poutine, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Sandwich …More
ted dorset: This was FANTASTIC! This place could definitely be my go to every night! POUTINE!!!! Yup, thank you! This was a meal in itself!! Get it with the egg!! #sogood!!! I had the fish sandwich and the fresh homemade hot 'saus' hit the mark!!! The IPA selection is out of this world too!!! You CANNOT go wrong here! So, when in Boston, visit Saus!!!!Yup! You're welcome!
Ben McGuire: When planning our visit to Boston, we read that Saus was a must. I completely agree. I had the Kimchi Chicken Sando and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten in my life. I absolutely devoured it. The poutine was chock-full of cheese curds. I tasted the pineapple teriyaki sando and it was great too. The service was fast and friendly. There was plenty of seating both inside and out. Highly, highly recommend checking it out.

Jack Suminsby: The burger while it tastes fine is advertised as being a 1/4 lb but i dont believe that for a second. Also the poutine (the reason i came in) was very disappointing. The cheese curds weren't melted at all which is the most important part... and if im paying $9 for an order of fries, chunks of cheese and gravy it being melted is the least i can ask for.
Megan Roscoe: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Crispy Chicken SandwichMore
Jeff Todd: One of my favorite places to go and not too expensive! Burgers are a nice recent addition to the menu. I noticed that the poutine serving sizes are a little smaller than they used to be. Siena Walsh: We came in STARVING after a flight and Saus’s chicken sandwich is just what we needed. Employees were great and the energy was unmatched
Sara Van Schaik: Really great food options for a low price in the typically expensive downtown area. Love the chicken nuggets and fries with curry ketchup.Vegetarian options: Cauli falafel burger was great
Mark: My God, one of the rudest customer service experiences I've ever had. Young kid behind the counter acted offended whenever someone ordered anything. It's like it was painful for him to work behind the register. I went back up to order extra sauces (there's a cost per sauce) and he acted like I had ruined his life. No response when I said please and thank you, just eye rolls.Food was great, but wow, my wife and I felt completely uncomfortable. We were the only people in the restaurant around 3pm on a Thursday.
Lauren Suggs: The food was amazing! Fries were crispy and salty. The chicken sandwich was great and loved all the variety and flavors of sauce. The staff alone would make me avoid this place. Very rude, lazy and unprofessional. When asked a question they would just point to the menu and acted like it was a bother that we were asking what things were. It was our first time there. Customer service is just as important as the taste of your food.

Saltie Girl: what do users think?
Sara Abdelaziz: Every time I visit Boston, I have to eat there. People are friendly, the service is great, the food is to die for.

Minh Anh Bui: Visited this place twice. I’ll have to say that it’s an expensive restaurant but the food is really nice, especially the lobster roll (very buttery and seafood-y). Daniel-Eric Wirtz: Unfortunatly our evening at Saltie Girl Boston was horrible. We had a reservation and were send downstairs. We stood there and no one cared for us. We had to ask a waiter were we should sit. He went to the hostess which then arrived and only then were we seated. Then we ordered oysters as Appetizer. We wanted two of each. Instead we got less then ordered and pointed that to the waiter out. He then brought us a plate with the missing ones. The problem here was that they weren‘t placed clockwise like in the other oyster restaurants in Boston ( like the little whale or Selected Oysters )so we didn‘t know which oyster we were eating. As we went through this course, they already brought the Entrée which is just not acceptable. The waiter didn‘t seem to understand why we wouldn‘t want our hot meals mixed with our order from the raw bar. He acted like we were screaming at him which we weren‘t. Then, which seemed to be the restaurant manager, came to our table apologized and took the warm dishes away for later but explained, that this were normal here, like Tapas. We are from Europe. No original Tapas restaurant in Spain would mix hot tapas with cold ones. These are always seperated courses. As we had finished our Oysters we got the Entrée which wasn‘t that good. The beef of the burger had no seasoning and no taste at all and the Pasta was over seasoned. When we ordered the check, they had charged us twice the main courses which they then changed after complaining. It gave us the feeling that they wanted to fraud us.Overall our stay at Saltie Girl was an horrible experience which cost us a lot money which wasn‘t it worth.
Veronika Chula: Best lobster roll you could ever have!
Shiva N: The mood here is amazing. The drinks are even better! Recommend the basil cocktail.
A A: Came in as a walk in and given an awful wonky table. Host did not even care to fix it. Waiter never showed up. N one brought water. Place needs improvement in management and organization. Go elsewhere and save your money.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Allie: Food was pretty good/decent, atmosphere is awesome and fun. Definitelty make a reservation because the place gets packed. Service is average.
Linda Joy: Bartender unfriendly. Worst cocktail sauce ever.
Robin Way: Loved loved loved the tinned mussels and sardines, and the seared sea scallops were awesome.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
N: Food was good and service inside restaurant too. But the front desk hostess was absolutely awful and needs a lesson in customer service… or a job that doesn’t involve speaking to people. The restaurant mistakenly changed my reservation time without my request and rather than work to accommodate and take accountability on the error the hostess was extremely rude and dismissive. She would speak over me and tell me “move aside” and that whatever time in her system is when the table will be ready, regardless of whatever email/text proof I had on my end.Bad attitude but the rest of the staff made up for it. Good job to the managers for rectifying.
Matthew Naneville: Came here at 9:30 PM with a party of 5 to get a late night bite. We were told that only the bar was open and they were serving a limited menu until 9:45 PM. When we went to the bar area, we noticed there was a booth large enough to accommodate us; however, when we went to sit down, we were told the table was reserved, which given the fact that it was 30 mins before close was hard to believe. We ended up leaving and not eating there, but spent close to 15-20 minutes outside of the restaurant trying to figure out where else to go, during which time no big parties went into the restaurant, which really made it seem like they were lying, being lazy, or probably both. Their late night menu was also limited to seafood cocktail type food, so don’t expect to find their famed lobster roll if you go there after 9 PM. We were very disappointed as this restaurant was on our list of places to eat at while visiting Boston, and this was by far the worst experience we had at any restaurant or place during our entire visit. Their lobster roll may be one of the best, but their laziness and shady behavior left a permanent sour taste in our mouths.
Rob Wienert: No expectations walking in. Walked out having enjoyed Fried Lobster and Waffle. Fantastic!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Lobster & Waffles …More
A Stenft: Hate to leave a negative review but this is far from friendly and from from accommodating. Not only did they push our reservation back 45 minutes, they were extremely aggressive towards allowing one additional guest at the table. They had asked the person to leave and were not willing to add a chair when the restaurant was filled with open seats. They clearly aren't out to make sure diners have the best experience possible.
Allen C: Good food, nice place to get together with friendsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Kylie Odparlik: This place was delicious! All the food we had was great. We had a sample of all of their oysters, burger, and lobster roll with salt and vinegar chips. I love being able to try different oysters and tasting the difference in flavor profiles. Also, the lobster roll was perfect served warm with butter on a toasted roll. The prices are a bit high but worth it.

Vasundhra Puri: Rude waitress that yelled at us and lied about enforcing a 90 limit. Waitress’s name is Sophie W. Please avoid at all costs.Came here to watch the Bruins play off game. Since the game is long we decided to wait on ordering food and more drinks after our first drink. After a little while, the waitress came up to us and said we have 10 mins left on our table because they are enforcing 90 min limits on tables as they had waitlists building up and claimed the hostess told us. The hostess never told us this and a friend in the group was able to sit through a full play off game earlier that week. After we said we didn’t know and wanted to put in our food and drink order, the waitress came up to friend’s face and yelled so what do you want? In a very rude and condescending tone. She spoke to us very disrespectfully . 3 tables next to us were empty for about 45 mins (attached photo). There was absolutely no waitlist or lines it seemed.

However, the only downside was the noise level inside the restaurant. It was really loud and made it difficult to hear and have a conversation. Despite the noise, I still highly recommend Lincoln for the amazing food.
James Regan: Fun Tavern atmosphere. Lively crowd. Great service, drinks, appetizers, and entrees. The fried chicken and loaded mashed potatoes were great . The wagyu beef dumplings were perfect. L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates: what do users think?
Brittani Farrell: Beautiful shop, lovely looking desserts- rudest counter staff person that quickly encouraged me not to spend a dime here. I politely asked if I could bring in an outside drink, and I stumbled over myself nervously. The counter person responded with a harsh tone after putting his hands up in a rude gesture and saying “okayyyyy let’s start at the beginning with what you want to order”, seeming annoyed that I inconvenienced him with an extra 10 seconds of explanation. (There was no line behind me). I really hope there is a different culture that I missed here, because it had the potential to be a lovely business.
Heather G: Best hot chocolate of my life! I got the milk chocolate, it was very rich and so creamy! My travel partner got the dark chocolate and he liked it (I'm not a fan of dark) he said it was very bitter (the way its supposed to be) we loved this place so much we came back the next day! Very cute little place
Diarra Amoa: Great Hot Chocolate, though their Pain au Chocolats were a bit hard. 🤷🏾‍♀️👏🏾
Elizabeth Stewart: The hot chocolate is amazing but we were quickly met with a graying bussboy who yelled at us for stacking plates on one of the few open tables. Maybe do your job silently and stick to serving hot chocolate.
Enyo Pax: Always stop by here whenever we are around. Seating is at a premium but if you want to grab stuff to go it's great!
Bradley Osterhout: If you love chocolate this is the place. Amazing hot chocolate, mocha's, chocolate mice and baked goods.
Paul Tsvor: The best chocolates in New England 🍫
Moonstone08: The sweets, desserts, and teas are delicious. I haven't tried their hot chocolate yet, but hopefully I will get the chance soon since so many of my friends have been loving it.I was ordering their “Earl Grey Mousse Cake” for my mother's birthday and the customer service was so helpful in-store and over the phone. I would definitely stop by again, and I truly recommend their cakes as they are really flavorful and creative.
Lauren Smit: Expensive but REALLY GREAT CHOCOLATE!!!
Liubov Birger: Очереди долгие, обслуживание медленно, продукция так себе на 3+
Alex C: "The best hot chocolate in Boston" has been on my constantly growing list of things to try for a while now, and it was worthy of the hype. Absolutely decadent is the only way I can describe the white drinking chocolate. The Burdick cookies were a phenomenal accompaniment, too. The cashier was extremely nice and a joy to interact with.
권진주: 저랑 너무 잘맛는 L.A Burdick ~!!
Hank Cooper: I honestly believe that this is the best hot chocolate in Boston!
Nancy Schumm: Exquisite chocolatesLike works of art and SO delicious
Scott Hersey: Best hot chocolate ever.
A Grant: Smooth and delicious coffee and chocolate drinks. There is such a wide variety of desserts and coffee products to take home, you can plan on spending $25-50 a visit. Worth it! Arrive early in the day if you plan on finding a parking spot and a table.
RAY-CHUL: Ordered a croissant on 3/25 at around 4pm and was told they couldn’t warm it up…who serves cold cheese croissants!? Wasn’t impressed.
Fatima1 a: The best hot chocolate ever
Einar Lárusson: Awesome chocolate drinks and other chocolate products, go for extra whipped cream
Maggie: Went in on a Friday afternoon around 11:30-12:00 and the place looked busy, they had a bunch of tables to the left when you walked in the door. The tables were mostly filled up. They serve coffee and other drinks. Plus chocolate cake slices and of course chocolate candy’s. A very nice setting, clean, well kept. Cute little place. It’s bigger inside than it looks outside. I purchased a slice of chocolate mousse cake, a hot chocolate, cookie, and one chocolate truffle. Which was wrapped up in a little box with a bow for just about five dollars for the one piece of chocolate. So a bit on the pricey side. But the hot chocolate was so delicious like amazingly delicious!!!!!!! They also served you if you ordered to sit in there as opposed to to go. They give you a number sign for the table and bring out your order to you, very nice service.
Gabriel Bispo Xavier Da Silva: Great selection of yummy chocolates. The store has a huge variety of many different types of candies. These make for a fantastic gift. They even ship!

Mike's Pastry: what do users think?
Lauren Kelly: Best cannolis in Boston. They are large and not overly sweet. They also have a wide selection of other delectable treats to order and enjoy. This is a place you stop and grab your treats to go… no indoor seating. Plan to wait in line. $5.50 cannolis cash only
Ole Gornik: I had the Florentine Canoli and it tasted like what they must be serving in heaven. I am DEFINITELY gonna get another Canoli there tomorrow!
Gracelyn Foo: Amazing cannolis but deducted one star because the lady who served us was so rude. We were getting the cash out and she repeated herself in a condescending way and proceeds to stare at us throughout the payment process till we left the store.
St.PeteNative: We recently completely a tour of Italy, and never thought cannolis lived up to the hype. The chocolate chip cannoli at Mikes was hands down the best cannoli we have ever had. The boston cream pie was also delicious but seriously stop in to this busy but quick moving bakery
Marta Lazarowicz: Bardzo dobre canollo i duży wybór smaków. O ile nie jesteś bardzo głodny, to polecam jedno na dwie osoby, bo inaczej ciężko podołać.
Sabrina L: There was a lot of hype about this place not to mention seeing a long line . First generation Canadian with Italian /Sicilian roots so I gave it a try . The cannoli we had tasted good and there are many flavours . I was able to tell from the first bite however it’s not made authentically . Lacked the richness, was too light like whipping cream and tasted like icing sugar. The same cream seems to be used for a few different pastries . We found some pastries lacked flavour and we didn’t end up eating them all. The fig cucidatti were soft and chewy . Typically they are made with more of a cookie biscuit base . If you’re wanting something more authentic, I would try a smaller bakery that isn’t making such large batches of their pastries for large crowds.
Keri Dorfeld: Definitely the best cannoli I’ve ever had! Lobster tail was delicious too!
Ben McGuire: Absolutely loved coming here. We came because of the popularity, and I can completely see why. It was packed out, and I imagine it stays like that all day long. I got a Florentine cannoli and it was heavenly. We’d just eaten a big lunch and I struggled to finish eating mine. I recommend coming in between meals if you have the chance. Be aware that they are cash only.
Cheepers _: Absolutely amazing pastries. Boston creme pies and cannolis are to doe for. The lobster claw wasn't my favorite, but the cream inside was delicious. They are cash only, however.
Vicqueline Escalona: The chocolate covered cannoli and chocolate ricotta cannolis are a must try!!!! So delicious, truly some of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. The line looks king but moved fast. Make sure to bring cash!!!! Definitely recommend
Cory Comer: The Florentine Cannoli was AMAZING.
Tim Park: 확실히 달긴하네요, 한번은 먹어봐도 될듯합니다한개 이상먹긴 힘드네요.요즘 빵집들이 상향 표준화되었지요? 큰 기대는 하지마시고 추억 개념으로 드시길
richard meuse: Always great canolli! Cream puff wasn't so great tbh
Felipe Vellozo: The best cannoli I’ve ever tried! Super friendly staff.
A Brady: More cannolis and desserts of the old school than you've ever seen- right in little Italy of Boston.
Rumin Smith: The most amazing cannolis and really big!
manolo Q. L: Excelente...canolis are amazing delicious
Ayzik Kk: Cannoli Cannoli Cannoli
Ryan Wakefield: What a great local treasure.Pistachio flavor is the way to go.
Courtey Winegar: Good prices but the woman that waited on us wasn’t just rude but hostile, slamming around the box and swearing about us under her breath, rolling her eyes, like aggressive. So bizarre when I ordered politely saying please and thank you. When she asked if I wanted powdered sugar I said no thank you and then put sugar on it three separate times, like a mountain of it. I don’t really care about that but it was weird how mean she was, it was such a bummer I didn’t even want to eat the pastry or look at the box. Or ever go to north end again when visiting.

Bova's Bakery: what do users think?
anna loy: Loved the tiramisu
Jenny Champ: The best cannoli I've ever eaten.
Charles Rez: Best bakery in town hands down. There is such a wide variety and everything is at a reasonable price. I got the strawberry shortcake box cake and an Oreo cannoli, both delicious. I would highly recommend going here if you have the chance. 10/10
Pete Darnell: Wicked good and wicked expensive
Michiel Kriele: 24 / 7 geopend, en heel veel keus, lekkere taartjes en zoete versnaperingen. Altijd druk als je wat gaat halen.
Carolina: Best cheesecake ever!
Mohamed Hegazy: Exceptional florentine cannoli!
Fab Trav: 10/10 you already know this is the best in the Northend.
Marie Kern: Came here after doing some research and finding that it was a great bakery to stop. Overall was okay, tried a chocolate chip cannoli and a lobster tail and while they were good I’ve definitely had better. A good option if looking for a sweet fix but nothing life changing.
Celeste Jackson: absolutely fantastic and super quick service despite being busy, I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again
Richard W: The cannolo is the best I’ve had. I thought I didn’t like cannoli because every single one I’ve had in NYC were overly sweet and had a gritty texture. The cannoli at Bova’s have a completely smooth filling that’s not too sweet. The other pastries I got are also delicious, but the cannoli are the must try!Edit: I returned to try the tiramisu. All I’ll say is, if I lived near Bova’s I’ll gain twenty pounds in a year.
M Pagliei: Had the pleasure of enjoying one of the best sfogliatella at Bovas this past weekend. Having sampled to bakeries with all the hype - This place is the real deal. - Go to Bova's!
PRASHANTH D: Good. But u can’t sit and eat
Alexis Newman: Such delicious treats! The Boston cream pie, chocolate brick, and cannoli are all excellent!
Nestor Hernandez: Bova's Bakery is fantastic! Their lobster tail is incredible - flaky, buttery, and filled with a rich, creamy filling. Highly recommended!
Gracie Gralike: I got a cannoli and another pastry (that I never ate since I was too full!), but I thought that the cannoli was really good. I had the peanut butter and chocolate flavored one. The line is pretty long at night and the workers seem a bit stressed with the crowds. 4 stars because I thought it was a little expensive based on what it was. Paid over $10 for 2 pastries.
Katherine: Everything was delicious! My favorite was the chocolate covered cannolis!Added bonuses: open 24/7 & accept credit cards!
J T: The chocolate bomb is da bomb!!! Chocolate cake was a bit dry but incredible frosting. Husband liked the coconut cake. Cheesecake was okay but seriously the CHOCOLATE BOMB!!
Naomi Bowman: OMG … I can’t even begin to describe the experience I just had!!! This is the best place ever!!!!
Katherine Dubois: Best Italian bakery in the North End.
Cory Comer: The Florentine Cannoli is easily better than their more famous competitor. It’s amazing! Also, try the chocolate bomb and pistachio macaroon.

Toro: what do users think?
Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold! It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.
Owen Tredennick: Asado de Huesos was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so mix it up!Will be back again and again…and again.
Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.
Dustin Maneethai: Excellent tapas served fresh. The paella was definitely a star but it's quite filling. For two I would recommend the paella and perhaps 3 tapas dishes. The service was excellent. Chingsung Chang: Tables are a bit small. Food is good, but be prepared to spend a decent amount. Overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side, but there's enough on the menu that's unique. Jing Wu: Worst Manager!!! Waitlist shows around 45 minutes, but We have waited for 90 mins with no calls or messages. When we asked them, they said they had sent the message, which we didn’t receive it. The solution from manager is waiting another 120 minutes. The most ridiculous solution ever heard.
Alejandra Ortiz: We shared 4 plates: mushrooms with the egg, shishito peppers, shrimps, churros and flan. Everything was good and the choice of drinks and cocktails too. Bartenders were very attentive and recommend us good drinks. I highly recommend the place for the ambiance, latin music, drinks and food plus the excellent service!Recommended dishes Gambas Al Ajillo, Churros Chocolate Sauce …More
Austin: Food was amazing, Stephanie was even better. 11/10

chad svastisalee: Toro is uniquely located on Washington Street in the South End. One thing to know... fresh tapas are always A-Mazing and sharing with your family and besties make meals memorable. Just eating Spanish food because you know it’s delicious is a treat in itself. Toro is a must place to check out. The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. We shared two rounds of Risotto de Longostos, it was devine and our boys favorite. The attention to detail to seasoning, plating and staff are on point at Toro.
amora nadia: Plenty vegan optionsRecommended dishes Churros Chocolate Sauce, Corn on the Cob …More

Parker's Restaurant: what do users think?
Chris daCamara: If you’re going to offer Chicken and Waffles at the price point Parker is charging, the Chicken had better be amazing… it wasn’t.My dish came out with three pieces of chicken, full bone-in - two very small breasts one small drum stick. All three were undercooked. Of the parts that were mildly edible, the dredge coating was underwhelming at best and mushy, not crispy.I was offered anything else on the menu as a replacement dish… I opted for the Waldorf salad. Also underwhelming. The good news is the famed Parker house rolls are still life-alteringly delicious. With so many other dining options for brunch in the area, I’m regretting having selected this one for the party who accompanied me.
Luke Richardson: Better fast food chicken than other places.
Richard Greensted: This has fallen from the heights. Eggs Benedict were overcooked and actually rather unpleasant. I was told I couldn't have a bloody mary because the manager didn't approve. Eventually they relented. I love this hotel, but Parker's is to be avoided.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Melissa Gautier: The breakfast was delicious
Jonis Shahidi: Food: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Will Langston: Somehow we missed that it was in a hotel. It looked like the best breakfast where we were. It was. The service was great, the food was great. I would never have made French toast out of a pretzel, but now I know how good it is, so I will. The bathroom is upstairs.
Johan Chabrel: Traditional American fare in elegant setting at Omni house hotelFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chris Fortunato: Out of this world breakfast in a location full of history. The Parker rolls and boston cream pie were both invented here and are a must try.I also suggest the corn beef and hash. While not as impressive as the rolls or pie, it was great. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and unlimited refills. The coffee wasn't the best, especially company to the numerous shops in the vicinity.
David Matke: The food wasn't very good, especially considering the very high price.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Susan Decasale: Had breakfast, was good but ordered Parker house rolls and boston cream pie, both stale, sooooo disappointed 😞Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Marilyn Barba: Excellent food. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Our breakfast was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!
Jason Macey: This restaurant serves the original, best Boston Cream pie. It's not much of a surprise that the hotel and restaurant were favorites of the writers who frequented them over a century ago, nor that it is a must-experience today.
Jasmine Kings: Happy with all the food and the staff was excellent.
Kayla N: Service was fantastic. Food was delicious. It was a little pricey but that’s to be expected for a more upscale hotel restaurant. Their prices matched the quality and service.Only complaint is I wish they had a more options on the menu
Karthik Murthy: I Was in town for meetings and stopped in to try the Boston cream pie before my flight. As soon as I said I just wanted to get dessert, the server's attitude changed completely ( There were empty tables everywhere! I would slightly understand this behavior if the place was packed....but it wasn't). 5 mins later, I was served a Boston creme pie that tasted like it had just barely defrosted. Parts of the cake still tasted like they were frozen. I guess they wanted me out of there as fast as possible.Incredibly underwhelming cake and disappointed in what felt like snobbery by the waitstaff.
Tim Samuel: Quite frankly, terrible food. It is overpriced merely because of the status and history of the building that it is made in. Breakfast potatoes were bland, did not see a shred of seasoning as far as my eye could tell. They also upsold us beverages, involving us refusing it the first time and only accepting it after we were asked again "Are you sure?", because it seemed as if it was provided complementary; unprofessional and tacky. Now for the famous Boston Cream Pie, this thing is dry... the whip cream that it was accompanied with also tasted like something you would get from the supermarket. Not impressed.
Andrew Mueller: Review is for the Boston Cream Pie only. It's phenomenal. Got one shipped to Northern VA via Goldbelly. Pricey. AF!!! But we'll worth it. The cake itself is a warm milk sponge and is FANTASTIC even after being frozen. The cream portion is rock solid, and then that dark(ish) chocolate topper? Woo boy...glad I splurged on it.
Anastasia Balandina: 5 stars, 10/10, will recommend and go again. Gorgeous restaurant inside the hotel, very nice staff, and the food is delicious. Had the French onion soup and the Boston cream pie. Absolutely great!
Michael Spero: Great breakfast. Boston cream pie is definitely a must have.
Christine M: Oh mannnn that Boston Cream Pie is magic!Everything else was deffo mediocre & way spendy (ie BLT), but I'd come back for that superfluffy cake again & again ❤️The space feels way elevated bordering on stuffy, but we were advised by the host that there is no dress code, soooo...Sweaty, dehydrated, post-Freedom Trail miles, 137% humidity, shorts/tees/(empty)CamelBaks cake it was.Supersweet service, despite our conditions.

Neptune Oyster: what do users think?
Alex Lundwall: One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I seriously can’t believe I spent $11 on a piece of and I want to eat the loaf and I don’t even care for bread. The pemiquid mussels are unbelievable. I’ve spent many vacations at pemiquid and the taste just sent me back there like the scene in ratatouille.
St.PeteNative: This was recommended by a local concierge. We really loved this place as it placed us in what felt like essential Boston. Historic neighborhood ✅ Thick accents ✅ Great hot lobster roll at a pricy $38 each. But hey you will pay that about anywhere in the city might as well enjoy the packed Boston atmosphere of this charming restaurant.PS Try the Johnnycake appetizer for one of the most unique seafood dishes you will ever have.
Han Jiang: Only order shells.
Danijel & Hannora Jurkovic: Oysters were amazing. The other seafood was average, overcooked lobster.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chris Nickles: The best lobster roll in Boston and generous portion for $40(mkt). Much better than Row 34. Excellent Oysters and great service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Vicky C: The johnny cake is sooo good. Friendly service.Recommended dishes Neptune Johnny Cake …More
Tony Huynh: The food at Neptune Oyster is overhyped and expensive. We wait around 1 hr and a half to get inside. The space is small and crowded with barely any moving space. We got an oyster tray, clam chowder, butter lobster roll, razor clam and Johnny's Cake. The oysters were good but it wasn't that sweet, and it cost around $3-4 per oyster. The Clam chowder is the most watery chowder I ever had, there were clams but not many and you have to really fish for it. The lobster roll is decent with juicy lobster however there wasn't much flavor in the lobster roll. The razor clams were overcooked and chewy, and the flavor wasn't that good either. Finally the Johnny's Cake, we also added lobster to it, it wasn't bad but it's just standard, nothing special about the cake. The total cost was around $180. Overall I wouldn't go back again, the food wasn't worth it for the long wait time and the high prices.
Micheal Abboud: Delicious delicious!! Best restaurant in Boston if you are a seafood loverEverything is excellent, specially the tuna tartare is unbelievableHighly recommendFood: excellentPortion: greatCustomer service: excellent.Ambiance: casual and relaxed.Prices: fair.Cleanliness: Adequate.
Gajan Sivapathasundaram: I’d also recommend this place for LobsterRoll ! Excellent food!I’d suggest getting there early to get a seat, especially if you’re in groups as the waiting time can vary between 15-30mins.
Richard W: To tourists: out of all the sit-down meals I’ve had in Boston, this is the only one I chose to return to within the same trip. Just skip the clam chowder. The wait time can be long, up to an hour during peak times, but it’s worth it. While standing in line, you can watch someone shucking oysters in full view—live entertainment. These are the movements of someone with many many years of experience.Service is extremely warm and friendly. The wide selection of oysters did not feel overwhelming because the waitress narrowed it down for newly seated patrons.Even though I’m not a fan of raw oysters, I enjoyed these due to the especially bright mignonette. The johnnycake was warm, soft, comforting, sweet but not too sweet, topped with smoked fish that sounds like an odd pairing but works. I’ve never had anything like this before. It makes me want to come back and try other interesting things on the menu, perhaps in a future visit.Edit: on my second visit, I had the clam chowder and octopus. Octopus was extremely tender, well-charred along with the vegetables, and bursting with flavor from the romesco. The clam chowder was okay; I felt I had to order it because Boston, but there are so many better things on the menu.
Haein H: We stood in line on a chilly Saturday evening for over an hour. We got sat at the bar and were presented with a menu that describes where the oysters are from and what flavours you can expect from each one. The oysters themselves were really fresh and one of the best I’ve ever had, but it was still really overpriced and I didn’t like how we couldn’t make reservations in advance.
Brennan Rosales: The weather was perfect so waiting in line was no problem. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The hot Lobster Rolls were pretty much perfect. Friendly service great wine selection. Very cozy seating. We were a party of 3 sharing a 6 top with another party of 3 but it was fine. Definitely an experience and worth the wait!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Christina Huang: Great spot for lobster rolls and other seafood dishes. A variety selection of oysters!
Saud: I waited for two hours, and they kept skipping me since I was dining alone. At the end, I was surprised by how bad the lobster roll was.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Caitlin McPheron: Super cool spot with amazing oysters. Clam chowder was phenomenal as well. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was a small 5-10 minute wait. Highly recommend!
Justine Collins: This place is unbelievable - and worth the long wait! We got here 45 minutes before they opened, and we were the first ones in line, but everyone else shortly followed - so make sure you get there early if you don't want to wait at LEAST an hour for a table. This restaurant's food may be one the very few times for me where when tasting the food, it was an EXPERIENCE. The Johnnycake was out of this world - I have never in my life tasted anything like it and it's so hard to compare, but it was mouthwatering. We also had the oyster piggybacks and crostini which were incredible. Oysters were so fresh. We also ordered the lobster roll which came last, and honestly - the preceding food was so magnificent that it made the lobster roll taste like any other lobster roll. My recommendation is to come here for their appetizers first, oysters second, and if you're still hungry (which I doubt), then get a lobster roll. They will fit every person at every seat available. The restaurant is small so it does feel a bit crammed, but it's very well managed and efficient nonetheless. Overall, 10/10 dining experience!
Brian Wong: Best lobster roll in Boston. They pack a full 8oz of lobster in the roll. The cold mayo is the way to go.
Nicholas Cooper: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Maine Lobster & Sea Greens, Shrimp & Grits, Crab ClawsMore
Ronald Cheung: Another must hit place when every time in town. With the taste of hot butter and generous potions of lobster, you don’t wanna miss the hot lobster roll. The other dishes which some folks missed is the fried clams, the clam is big and fresh, and they season it just right and never overcook it(at least my last 10 times visit in last few years)Remember sparing some time for the long waiting line outside the restaurant door, an hour at least if you are lucky.
Erica Reetz: Great service and delicious food! We had oysters, the clam chowder, fish & chips, and the hot lobster roll. Fantastic flavorsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jose Moreno: Iconic place in the north end, great food and great wine selection but a little bit priceyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
