Ellie G: The steak tartare & lazy lobster dumpling here is amazing ! Honestly really enjoyed the apps and drinks here. Although service was slightly slow but as expected of a very popular bar restaurant in downtown Boston. If you’re ever in town definitely should give it a visit. The place is really pretty too.

Cindy Pury: I am currently sitting inside the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. I was part of a large crowd of hundreds of people who needed to evacuate the building due to a false alarm. As we were evacuating, and before it was clear that it was a false alarm, employees at the Hynes Center location prevented us from going out the easiest exit to access from where we were, going through their side door and out onto the street, and instead made all of us walk over a city block and down another flight of stairs in order to get to an accessible exit. Exit. This seems very much like a reckless to disregard for human life, and should this have been an actual emergency, I expect that you would have been sued by survivors. Do better.

Food was good but atmosphere terrible and felt rushed . No Dress Code enforced at all.

Eduart Lela: My wife and I are regulars here and we have always enjoyed the food and ambiance at capital grille Boston . Most importantly the service by Zack has always been excellent. We are sad to see him go and wish him good luck. We have been back twice since however and service was ok until yesterday when we met Grace. She is terrific also and very professional. We recommend Grace if you are able to request her for your dining experience, we had a wonderful lunch with her yesterday and I am sure you will too.

Megs R: I made reservations at the Capital Grille for my husband's 50th birthday. He wanted a great steak dinner and this exceeded our expectation. He started with the oysters. His porcine rubbed ribeye was cooked perfectly and he paired it with the Spinach. I had the Seabass and the sauce made it melt in your mouth. The pear and gorgonzola salad was also delicious. Molly and Jeff were our servers and their service alone made our meal so special. They were friendly and attentive. They recognized my husband's birthday with a card and glitter on the table and a fun dessert plate. We splurged and had a piece of coconut cream pie too which was so good. From drinks to dessert everything was perfect. Bring your appetite!

Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold!It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.

Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.

The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. Jude Heichelbech: Don’t arrive early. They won’t seat you. If you find an empty table and try to sit for a moment, the bouncer will grab you by the arm and lift you up! If you try to dance for the last song of the night, staff will come and tell you to stop because they don’t have a “license” for that. After you eat, they’ll remove half your table area to give to others. Also, as others have noted, I saw a mouse run right past a nearby patron’s feet. Our waiter was great. But I found the house staff pretty rude, aggressive and patriarchal. Weird vibe. Will avoid in the future. Too bad! Cool building/live music, decent food/cocktails.

Jennease Hyatt: So I went to beehive late last night and the vibe was super cute. Band was about to wrap up, waiter was friendly. The drink was AMAZING!!! I'm sitting in full view of the kitchen and suddenly I see mice running all around and I'm like, whoa, ok. They seem to be having party of sorts. I had paid for my drink at this point and I call to the waitress who helped us to tell her what I was seeing. Apparently this was common and she said the manager would come over. The manager never showed up, but two young men dressed in all black did and at this point I am now pointing out the mice running up and down the curtains and the ones in plain view of us while we were talking. And he's like, yea, we've called an exterminator, etc... and I was like, sir! I've seen like 10 mice prancing about, this is just not ok! I couldn't believe how casually ok they were about what was clearly an infestation. Not ok!!!

Wacky Alpacas: Let me first say- prior to tonight Beehive was my absolute favorite restaurant in Boston that I always recommended every out of town visitor to visit. After tonight that is no longer the case.Long story short- our waiter brought us the check before our dinner even arrived at the table. We were very confused but he said it was something about him being “cut”? I asked if I could get another drink before we paid our very early check and he said no, but he told us another waiter would be with us for the rest of the night. Fast forward 30 minutes and no new waiter came and I still didn’t have a drink. My partner got up and asked another staff member for a waiter y they said someone would be right over. We waited another 15, no one came, so we asked someone else and they sent a very stressed out waiter over who ended up giving us the wrong drinks and never came to check in about them.I am so disappointed because this used to be my all time favorite restaurant in Boston for years and it seems they have prioritized making money on increasing capacity over customer experience.**** also important to note- they added standing room in the middle of the downstairs- so unless you are seated in front of the stage/mezzanine you will not see/hear the live music anymore

I’ve had the fried chicken sliders and the Mac and cheese, the biscuits, and the beignets - all were delicious! It is a bit pricey considering the dishes are appetizer sized but that’s Boston for you. Book a reservation ahead of time because it gets packed on the weekends! Definitely a Boston go-to for me!

Cami Tussie: Vibe/ambiance of this place is incredible. A fantastic date night kind of place. Favorites were the mushroom, eggplant, and scallops. Basque cheesecake was definitely not as sweet as a NY style, though the texture was amazing. It was my first time trying basque cheesecake and it was not even close to sweet enough for me, wouldn’t order again, but get it if you like desserts that aren’t as sweet!

Found out that the company trained her for a Manager role and I think it was the best decision they could have made. She should write a book on the service industry and how to do it right. I told staff we were celebrating my husband's birthday, and they gave us a very intimate table that really made the evening all the more special. Everyone wished my husband happy birthday and pampered us with a complimentary appetizer, courtesy of the chef that went perfectly with the duck liver pattè we selected. We enjoyed every morsel and sipped our cocktails to the last drop.We had the Long Island duck breast, and it was the best duck we've had in town. Also, note that the portions are super generous - a nice surprise, given how good it was! I tried their flirty lychee fiz, and it was as fun as it sounds. The dishes were cleverly plated and made the experience so much fun, on top of everything being absolutely delicious.Thank you, thank you, thank you for being such gracious hosts!! We will be back.

Alex Maiella: Celebrated our 4 year anniversary at Deuxave and had one of the most wonderful dining experiences thanks in large part to our fantastic waiter, Wesley.Wesley was not only funny, and attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. His experience in the industry was incredibly apparent as he told us the history of the dishes we very much enjoyed and where each ingredient originated.As for the food, between the Lobster, Duck, and Tuna, there is no way that we could decide on our favorite. Similarly to our appetizers and entree choices, we took Wesley’s drink suggestion for our choice of wine with dinner, and then port to go with the fresh and creamy crème brûlée. We cannot believe that this restaurant does not have a several week waitlist. I am grateful to have found Deuxave though because we will definitely be returning with friends and family on Thursday or Friday to dine with Wesley again.

Kenneth Lutchen: Arrived from Boston University with a faculty candidate with a party of 6 for a 6PM reservation and was seated immediately. Most of rest of restaurant was empty. Asked if we wanted bread which we did, and they gave each guest 2 slices on a plate and we later found out there was a $3 per person for this. Took our dinner orders by 6:20 or so. Main dishes did not come out until....are you ready......8:20. One of our party had to leave before his main dish arrived. We kept asking when the main meals would arrived and got same answer each time...."a few minutes". This was a staple restaurant for me as a Dean at BU to take guests to, even throughout the pandemic. Now we will likely not return as there are so many other choices.

jennifer stelter: This spot is exceptionally beautiful, and the service is second to none. The food, delicious!!! I'm part of a very important healthcare entity and hosted an event here. The servers were so attentive along with all the staff. Sean the manager was so attentive to our group, I could ask him anything. I have to sing my praises to Armando the GM, Jose the head server, and to both Laura and Suzanne the event planners. My group stayed over by a 2 hour length of time, and the group was more than happy to keep us there. Thank you to the excellent staff.
Ramdas Pisharody: Nice ambience , beautiful location by the waterfront and quietly efficient service. The restaurant has private rooms for groups and we availed of one of these. The food wasn’t the highlight. The four stars are for the non-food related attributes.
