Tasha Weston: I was in town for work and my helix piercing came out and I lost it. I didn’t have a replacement earring and I didn’t want it to close up, so I desperately tried to find a place nearby. Kallie was so amazing! Not only did she squeeze me in between her appointments, but she was extremely nice and talked through the whole process (since there was a chance my piercing could’ve closed up). She was very gentle even though my ear was super swollen and gave great advice for how to help with the swelling. I may not be a local but I 100% recommend Kallie for any piercings!! Shanan Hamilton: I called to get an appointment for just a simple black outline of my dog. The person on the phone said they would probably be able to fit me in but he had to ask the artist and he would call me back. He laughed at me and really sounded like he wasn’t taking me seriously. Over an hour went by so I called just to check in and the person over the phone laughed at me again and said he will call when he asks. I then never got a call back.😢 Bummed because I lost the chance to call another place because I was waiting on them.

Matthew Lynch: I got a tattoo from Daniel Bythewood here and it was a phenomenal experience from the moment I walked in for a consultation. This was my first tattoo, a relatively small bird on the inside of my bicep, and for a first timer I couldn't have received better instructions or care. It's the little things they do, apart from the art which speaks for itself, that culminate into a 5/5 experience. Highly recommend.

Michael Dominguez: Bill Byers does absolutely amazing black and grey as well as color realism and portraiture. I had no intention of getting a full sleeve but after I got my fathers portrait on my fore arm, I knew I had found a truly exceptional artist and continued to give him free reign over my entire sleeve. It was the best decision ever and I came out with a much better sleeve then I could have ever imagined. When I got this tattoo the man that did it did not give me anything to care for it with. No cream, not the plastic wrap thing nothing. Trevor McSweeney: Absolutely one of the best tattoo shops in Boston. I had an amateur tattoo I got as a teenager that went all the way down my ribs. I wanted it covered up, but multiple artists had told me it couldn't be due to its size. The second I showed it to Frankie I could see the gears turning in his head. He ended up using much of its original shape but completely reworked it, covering up the old one flawlessly while barely making it larger. It's always a great experience, and it keeps me coming back. I've only been tattooed by Frankie, but have only had positive interactions with the other artists at the shop. I can't recommend Frankie enough. He always exceeds my expectations and I fully trust his expertise and advice when it comes to placement and size. Avery Schofield: Me and my partner went in yesterday to get walk in tattoos, first of all I wanted a neck tattoo behind my hair and the guy argued with me and swore at me and upcharged to much for a NECK tattoo And my partner wanted something specific and the walk in guy was being completely rude to us about it even though he wanted to get something meaningful. I will say I like my tattoo but not the placement. And my partner is very disappointed about his tattoo. If I could give 0/5 stars I would. Save your money and go to redemption they are so much better than this hole in the wall. Save your money and go somewhere else instead of this place and if you do go here DO NOT GO FOR A WALK IN. Trust me you would want to save your money before spending it on the walk in guy who is so so rude and will tattoo what he feels like tattooing, not what you want tattooed. Also may I mention this place is so disgusting and so dirty.

J L: I think it’s time I update my last review, it’s been a while since I wrote it I think in June when I first came here to get a sleeve done in black and grey realism. I had to stop coming after my second session and later I went to another artist to rework what was done here and to continue my sleeve, the artist said the work wasn’t good at all and would not last before it fades which it was already doing. He said whoever did your work didn’t even go by the reference for the shading and just drew shapes and shaded it in. I wanted realism and the artist could not do realism but took the work on anyway. We all know sleeves are a lot of work and money and I’m happy I went somewhere else to finish it and re work the ones I got here but I still have to have it touched up again. My new sleeve I’m going to an amazing artist who can actually do realism and I’d recommend this guy but if you want realism don’t go here

JL: So far I came in for a consultation with Frankie for a Roman themed sleeve and to have some other tattoos re done. He seen me right away and we went over everything and are working out the theme for my tattoo in all grey and black ink. I’ll post another review when we’re done or after our first session. Maybe do a review after each one and log how it’s going. But so far great experience
Grace Palardy: Called a few days ahead to book an appointment on a Saturday and was told to come in as a walk-in because they allegedly only take walk ins on Saturdays. We walk in as two clients about to both get a 2 inch long tattoo and we were turned away for not making an appointment and we were told our mock ups were appointment needed. I don’t think anyone there actually wants to work. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We will be taking our tattoo business literally anywhere else.

Lex Lives In Disney: Amazing experience. Got my first tattoo here. Edwin Marquez was great. The team was super sweet, helpful, and not judgemental. I wanted my first tattoo to be simple line art, and other places were rude / off about it. Regeneration was perfect and informative. Super clean space, and overall just felt SO comfortable. Highly recommend, especially for your first! Edwin was open about pain tolerance / taking it easy if I had an issue. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was warmly greeted and told I could get a piercing within 30 min - I ended up having a scheduling issue and needed to run another errand and was told as long as I come back before they close, and understand those who walk in and wait to be seen before I return will be prioritized, then I can come back later on, which was perfectly reasonable and worked great for me! When I came back an hr later, I was able to be pierced within 10 min of sitting down. I got my belly button pierced by Angie and she did an awesome job, was very kind, reassuring and quick! Youmna Rabie: Walked in around open on Saturday with a friend. We were the first ones there so there wasn’t a wait. Sam checked us in and did my friend’s tattoo. Ray did mine. They were both professional, friendly, made great conversation, and most importantly did an amazing job! We love our tattoos.The shop is on the smaller side but it’s clean and comfortable. Ray was extremely flexible with modifying the stencil so it was perfectly what I was looking for.We were there for around three hours including checking in and stencilling and everything. They’re pretty large tattoos (wrap around our thighs) as well.I would definitely recommend walking in!

My mom passed this past Sunday so feelings are very raw and new .We wanted my mom's signature that actually is a flower that she did not a name. We gave him the writing sample and expressed how important that it was to match. He took the time to go over every aspect of what would work best what could happen and what would be the best way to do what we wanted. Vanessa Harris: My best friend and I got matching tattoos here. I’m really underwhelmed with my work. The difference between my tattoo and my best friends identical tattoo is extremely obvious. My line work is incredibly poor (some double lines where a single line is suppose to be, and different line width) , and it was really disheartening to pay $200 for a very simple line drawing of an eye and a moon. I’m so incredibly grateful I have a tattoo artist back home that can touch this up.

0: First and last time spending my money here. I spent $136 on a 14k gold nose stud only for the piercer to give me the wrong size jewelry. Not only is the jewelry too small but the post itself is silver. The piercer didn't measure the fit of the jewelry properly. In fact, she didn't bother measuring it at all! She simply just told me to tilt my head back so she could try to see up my nose, then she took a guess. After voicing my concern she reassured me it would fit properly and I trusted her since she is the "professional."When I reached out via email since my phone calls went unanswered they told me I would have to go back and pay an additional $15 for the post and $10 for the installation. None of this was communicated with me at the time of purchase.

Parking in this neighborhood kinda sucks, so if you're driving, give yourself extra time to make a couple rounds. They used to do walk ins on Saturdays, which I took advantage of. It's my understanding they became appointment only because of covid. Prices are totally fair for the industry.
Kara Coraccio: Got a piercing with Emrys yesteday, and can't recommend enough! I initially went in for an industrial but unfortunately I don't have the right anatomy for it. Emrys explained everything in great deal, and we came up with a great option to get a forward helix piercing to eventually incorporate with a prior piercing with a chain to get a similar industrial effect. I’ve been getting my haircut by Ricky in the north end for years. He is great, and even on the days he didn’t have availability and I went to someone else there, I’ve never gotten a bad haircut. On which the Barber shop as well as Ricky himself got in touch with me and tried to make it right for me (plus efforts to take the negative review down) and offering free cut next time or refund (which I didn't accept). I appreciate the efforts and rewrite the review as I understand Ricky is one of the skillful and hardworking people trying to do their jobs with maximum dedication.
