Thrive Boston Counseling and Psychotherapy: what do users think?
Tena Zara: Do NOT use this place for any type of medicine management. They have no backup for providers. It is malpractice.
Katherine Sargent: Nice
Larissa Lutz: I've been working with Jennifer for over a year and cannot say enough great things about her and my experience with Thriveworks. Our work together has been really impactful; Jennifer's attention to detail, and ability to promote an environment where I can be my authentic self, has allowed me to reshape and rethink how I go through my day-to-day as well as tackling challenging experiences. Thank you Jennifer for all that you do, I am so lucky to have this opportunity to work with you!
Jaime Cobb: I am very satisfied with the professionalism shown with the clinical staff
Mary Nee-Loftus: From the initial phonecall inquiring about an appointment, I felt listened to. My therapist has been a great listener and asks reasonable questions and is thoughtful in conversation. The time goes remarkable fast- I didnlt realize I had so much to talk about. I heard about Thriveworks through a related health insurance link. I will continue to benefit from Thriveworks and highly recommend those interested in mental wellness.
M Roderick: It’s great to be able to share my feelings to gain some access to the areas of my life that I want to heal
Kaleigh Haroldsen: Anyone would be lucky to be matched with Renee Pagen. To find someone like Renee who cares so about about their patients well-being a personal growth is rare.
Mike Harrison: The intake meeting went well from the start. My counselor Layla was warm, receptive and experienced with stress related challenges. I felt comfortable and ready to share. I appreciated the ability to meet in person for that first appointment, as I wanted to connect with a human to ensure a good relationship was formed. Have since switched to Zoom meetings. Great counselor and a great company with which to work.
Caryn Stewart: I worked with Jessica Brantl for many years at a major Boston hospital in oncology. Jessica brings empathy, wisdom, and a wholistic person-centered approach to her encounters with clients. I would recommend her as a therapist to anybody seeking to be heard and gently guided to increased wellness.
Marie Chery: I didn’t have to wait to see Jess. She creates time for her clients whether online or in person. She helps me to understand and gives me tools to nagivate through my situation. She has a listening hear. I have been working with Jess for over 3 years now, she’s exceptional!
Kimberly Marrero: Strong communicator, good listener, non-judgmental properly describes Jessica B. I hope she continues her journey in helping people as she has helped me.
Jess Q: Jess Brantl is one of the most special social workers I know. We have worked together for seven years in an extremely busy hospital setting. Her passion and patience is so clearly seen in her daily work. She is so caring, empathetic, and truly a patient advocate. Jess has a heart of gold and she has so much knowledge and resources to share with her patients. Jess always goes out of her way to help her patients. She is one of the best listeners I know and she always has great advice to offer. If you are planning on seeing a social worker, you should ask for Jess, she is outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is a wonderful person and this practice is so lucky to have her!
Paul Mac Eachern: Hello Thriveworks, I would like to say something about Jessica. I have known Jessica for the last few years and have been lucky enough to know her as very kind bright, sweet and an honestly down to earth human being. And I'll hallelujah to that. Paul Mac Eachern.
Rozi A: From my own experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend Jessica Brantl. She is warm, compassionate, and caring, was instrumental in my navigating a difficult period in my life. Her strengths based approach really worked for me.
Ally Baker: I was seeing Jessica for about a year and would recommend her to anyone experiencing challenging life shifts, especially young adults! She is very compassionate and helpful in her approach and empowered me to come to my own conclusions.
Cynthia Bliss: Jessica Brantl is compassionate, warm and provides a safe environment for her clients.
Alice Morrison: I have heard great things about Boston and l recommend to anyone looking for awesome care.
dena krukonis: I have had the pleasure of working with Jessica Brantl for several years. She is extremely conscientious and detail oriented. She is hard working and is compassionate and truly cares for her patients. I highly recommend Jessica for a position in your company.
Jacqueline Arroyo: Jessica B is very kind and empathetic communicator willing to both listen and offer feedback; she has given me key insights and resources drawing from her professional and personal experience to help me work through my current situation.I highly recommend her for your healthy journey.
Philippe Gallier: Jess is the best listener! She really cares about your feelings. She is super empatheticGo see her!!!
Lisa Clarey: Today after 5 weeks of pleading and cajoling I managed to get my 19 year old autistic child to call Thrive in order to give them the verbal permission they required to enable me to make him an appointment. He was told by Thrive that this had been noted in his record. Upon calling tonight I was told that he would need to verbally authorize again. The kid is disabled, very shy, and had a meltdown. To h&&& with you, Thrive. Way to kick a person when they are down. You were recommended to me by BCBS, and you can depend on me to give them feedback on this terrible experience.

Boston Evening Therapy Associates, LLC: what do users think?
roger dunn: Very disappointed in Michael Hiam. He is lazy with his sessions. "so what do you think?" "who wants to speak first?" He doesn't take notes, he doesn't provide prompts. He has some good sessions, and some bad sessions. He also just flees the session, has tech issues. Is late to sessions. twice. is rejecting us as a couples therapist. he also stutters and repeats himself and makes me feel nervous. and says "but but but but". and he also wants to still charge for the session. He will arrive late, and ends sessions early. "yes, and no, and yeah"
Friedemann Frommelt: I have worked directly with Aaron over the past year, He consistently shows the highest level of integrity and fierce devotion to his patients. He sets the very highest standard of care for all of the therapists at BETA. I highly recommend online therapy at BETA as well as the DBT groups.
Kara VanGuilder: I highly recommend Julie Sutherland and BETA. Also, from an administrative point of view, the process was easy and smooth to find the therapist that works for me.
Morgan Smith: They're the best -- especially Aaron. While he's not currently seeing new clients, he is a therapist first and a business owner second. I appreciate everything Aaron and the team do to ensure each interaction is friendly, communicative, and supportive. BETA's focus on professionalism, empathy, and patient-centered care comes from the top down -- from Aaron -- and it's apparent in each aspect of the work that BETA does. Everything Boston Evening Therapy Does is patient-focused, not profit-focused-- which is refreshing compared with the big "therapy" conglomerates. BETA wants to see its clients well and give them tools to achieve mental wellness as independent, autonomous people without the need for daily check-ins and text message relationships. They're the real deal. Though I'm not currently in therapy, BETA would be my no. 1 choice should I choose to pick up where I left off.
Zachary Shark: I started seeing Anindita in 2016, as I had been struggling with a traumatic experience for over 15 years. Based on my previous therapies, I thought that if I showed up to my sessions, talked for an hour about my experience, and continued my sessions for a period of time, I would just “feel better”. Anindita easily recognized this and changed the course of my therapy, improved my perception of my traumatic experience, and worked with me on improving all other aspects of my life. Over the months, I learned that there is no finish line in therapy. It is not a race, but rather a continual process, where you must always be striving to better yourself and use the tools that are learned. My perception of therapy has been permanently changed, and I encourage anyone that is struggling in any aspect of their life to reach out to someone like Anindita. She is a gifted person who has given me the tools to navigate the ups and downs of life that all humans experience.
Mehrshad Zandigohar: I am the kind of person who cannot easily connect with a therapist. I have to really believe in the person and after searching for many weeks, reading the reviews and the responses by Aaron, I was very optimistic to start with him.I contacted their office and they (Kerry) said he is unable to see new people. After a month I contacted them again and they said he is not able to see new people “at all going forward”. After 3 months, the same response. This is very disappointing. How is someone booked for eternity, how can the coordinator even know that? What did these other people do that they could make an appointment with him?
Karen Turiel Klein: Aaron Gilbert and his team of therapists are really exceptional! I am so impressed with the professionalism and effectiveness of their services. I so highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking therapy for themselves or a family member.
Michael Blizniuc: Left a voicemail asking for a callback - nothing. Followed up with an e-mail asking for a phone call, so I could ask questions and schedule an appointment - no callback. The online application process is completely useless and only adds more confusion due to poor design and improper use of language.Name of business - evening therapy or whatever, but no available therapists that time of day. Also, some of their employees don’t work with insurance.Basically if you don’t have a good safety net or are poor, they’ll help you part with the last money you have. You’ll need a therapy just after dealing with this organization.
Xiaoran Liu: Saw Sara Payne at this practice. Very unprofessional. It doesn't seem like she knows or cares much about her clients at all. She is not very knowledgeable about her field. And she is easily distracted by surrounding environment. Here are some examples:1) During one session, she stopped and checked her phone because she heard a beeping sound.2) I was constantly interrupted by her non-related and/or irrelevant questions.3) I once asked her for insights and suggestions at the end of one session, she offered some very trivia, superficial, non-significant observations made me feel offended that I was sitting through an hour for such nonsense.I understand it took time to find the right therapist. And I have gave it a fair try.. I saw her three times at two locations (per she requested), left feeling depressed every time. This is very unfortunate. Huge waste of Money and TIME!!!
Karen Schwartz: Kind and thoughtful therapists. I am so impressed with this practice. Very skilled and committed group of professionals. I highly recommend BETA.
Rana Elkahwagy: I started seeing Anindita last September. The progress I have achieved with Anindita in less than a year was life-changing. The most important aspect of Anindita’ ability to connect with patients is her diverse cultural background. She was able to understand all the nuances of my culture, the underlying misconceptions, and the internal struggles I have gone through. This gave me an opportunity to dig deeper into many issues that I have failed to address in previous therapy experiences. I recommend Anindita to anyone who is having hard time connecting to therapists due to cultural differences. I want to thank Anindita for her warmth, empathy, reliability and overall concern about my personal and professional growth.
John Lowenstein: As a good friend and as a client, Aaron is loyal, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, and fair.
Joe Rufo: I have known Aaron Gilbert for more than 35 years and he is truly a compassionate professional in every sense of the word. He listens better than anyone I know and he will provide you with great advice and real world solutions in a very comfortable setting. The team at BET is top notch. You can not go wrong by getting in touch with Aaron and his team.
Carmen Ollervides: The clinicians at BET are exceptional and incredibly responsive to your needs. They give you concrete tools to manage stress and more mindfully and deliberately make choices in alignment with your core values. I've found myself to be more present, fulfilled, and capable of weathering whatever storm life may bring my way because of the support Anindita and Nancy offered. I truly cannot thank them enough!
kathryn kilpatrick: I had the good fortune to be referred to Aaron Gilbert when Boston Evening Therapy first opened. Aaron is kind, humane, and completely committed to his patients. I first started seeing him in the wake of a traumatic event, and have since endured family losses and significant medical diagnoses. Through it all, Aaron has remained a steadfast and empathetic support. But he doesn't merely comfort or provide an echo chamber; he offers honest and perceptive feedback and strategies that have greatly helped me not only to cope with adversity, but to overcome it. He also has a great sense of humor that he uses skillfully for the patient's benefit. I'm eternally grateful for the guidance he has given me and the personal growth he has made possible for me.
Larry Buckfire: Aaron Gilbert is an amazing therapist. He is kind, understanding, and non judgmental. I would highly recommend him and the other counselors at this practice if you are looking for an experienced and professional therapist. They offer appointments in the evening and on weekends and are very accommodating with your schedule.
Roland Kratzer: I've know Aaron for over 35 years. His dedication to providing patients with the highest level of care is his life's mission.Over the years I've consulted with Aaron on many sensitive and difficult issues. He has always shown me great compassion and humor (perhaps the best medicine). I've learned to better accept my challenges and control them rather than have them control me and effect those I love.I highly recommend Aaron as a wonderful resource. He's been invaluable to my mental health.
danu wicaksono: I'm danu wicaksono from indonesia. I have worked with Aaron and know that he and everyone at the practice are totally committed to providing the very best care for their patients. i highly recommend it.
Mark Josephs: I filled out the form and provided my information, and they had me meet with someone half my age. I do not recommend them.
Wil They Siya: Anindita Bhaumik is a dear and trusted colleague of many years and it is a privilege and honor to be able to write this review about her and her work. Her mindfully honed and vetted clinical skills come from years of experience in providing accurate, appropriate, evidence based, and non-judgmental individual, couples, family, group, and crisis therapies with cultural humility. In addition, she has been a clinical supervisor, a public speaker, and a staunch advocate and pioneer. She has created and facilitated innovative training and collaborative community programs that address the needs of the unserved and the underserved. She is exceedingly professional, charismatic, personable, practical, and precise. Her ever-growing knowledge base coupled with her therapeutic healing skills has enabled her to become an exceptional clinician, which many of her former and current clients can attested to. Anindita is ever humble, down-to-earth, and a life-long learner. As a fellow clinician, I highly recommend Anindita for her effective, no-nonsense, and strength-based approaches that enable her to create and provide individualized treatment plans that address the entire person experiencing a wide variety of life challenges.

Couples Therapy Inc: what do users think?
Christina Robohm: My partner and I came to CTI as a last ditch effort and saw from testimonials on the CTI site that they save ‘marriages with infidelity’ and where couples were ‘no longer living together’ so we knew they could definitely help us. We did a Q+A with the admin and each chatted with our therapist, Jennifer Sue Taylor, before committing. We felt we were in good hands and that we’d find the help we needed to navigate and address things that felt too triggering to handle alone. My first red flag was the ‘Big Big Book.’ The in depth analysis they ask you to complete before your weekend. I felt like I was taking a standardized test where I wasn’t really represented but had to ‘choose the most applicable option.’ My partner and I have read all the self help books and have tried a lot so we knew what they were trying to assess but didn’t know how to communicate on a sterile questionnaire that ‘Yes, I’ve have been anxious avoidant and know why and am already working on it but here’s where I really need help.’ I reached out to the admin with my concerns and she assured me that the weekend would be more personal. My second red flag was our first session where the therapist casually started by saying, “How are you?” to no one in particular, like the cashier at the grocery store. Was it a general greeting, did she honestly want to know where we were at emotionally, which one of us was she asking? No idea. This then led to 3 hours of random talking and the whole time I was worried because the 1st night is supposed to be about your relationship foundation/how you met and an overview of the weekend. We did not get that, it felt like a waste of time and I didn’t trust that I was being effectively supported or that our time was being used wisely. In my Saturday morning 1:1 I shared that I need to know her intentions when she asks things because it felt like she was just throwing random ideas at us. She agreed to my boundary but did not uphold it and needed to be reminded the rest of the day. Third red flag but I hoped that everything was about to come together. In our Saturday group session she asked us to talk through a standard fight so she could see the dynamics so we picked a recent issue and outlined how it went...until it re-triggered us both and led to a lot of unhealthy behavior. She watched this deeply traumatic behavior for a long time and never interrupted or directed us. She facilitated and allowed emotional harm AND didn’t provide any insight. Later, she admitted that she should have said something or helped - this was after we started holding her more accountable. Fourth red flag. My partner and I realized that they do the BIG BIG BOOK analysis and then just walk through a step-by-step process instead of tailoring solutions to the individuals in front of them. That’s why Jennifer just kept offering surface-level ideas and couldn’t flush out where we needed to go with them. After our Saturday session, I reached out to CTI several times to let them know that we wouldn’t be continuing. We did not hear back from them until Wednesday. They run highly sensitive weekend intensives and aren’t available to support clients in emergencies. In our final email, I copied our therapist so she knew we wouldn’t be returning and asked that she NOT reply. She replied. 100th red flag? This woman does not honor boundaries and you think that would be pretty essential for a therapist.I tried to submit a formal complaint and got this invalidating email from CTI Director Jessica Hufnagle saying, “I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your intensive couples therapy. We appreciate that not every couple will be able to benefit from our services, despite our best efforts.” and “Again, I am sorry that you both were not able to receive the help you wanted in your relationship.” As if not receiving the help we wanted in our relationship was the problem now, more like, having a deeply traumatic experience with someone we’re supposed to trust. And I’m amazed at the line “our best efforts.”

Thriveworks Counseling: what do users think?
Alan Wigder: I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Thriveworks. My counselor was more than I expected. She gave me exercises and tools that immediately helped me. Crystal was the perfect professional to get me on the road to feeling better. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or Thriveworks!
Beth Louis: Jennifer Royster is wonderful. She is compassionate, empathic and a real professional.
Casey Smith: Terrible customer service trying to book as a new client.
Dan Ford: I second the statement that you should never give this group your credit card. My daughter needed treatment with this group over 2 years ago yet they will not stop billing my credit card despite many repeated calls and e-mails to the organization. I finally had to lock the credit card.
debbie: My daughter has been seeing Casey Lowth for over a year. She is excellent and I highly recommend her. She is great with teens who have social anxiety, OCD etc. My daughter does not want to see anyone else. Thank you Casey.
Julie Russell: I've been going here a number of years now. The therapists have been fine and the location is ok, though parking can be interesting, and a few years ago I would have given Thriveworks 5 stars. Today though, I begin my search for a new provider. Over the last few years, Thriveworks (the parent company, not necessarily this location) has gotten billing messed up so many times, double billing, and generally made the process of getting mental health care more stressful than not being treated at all. Today I found out 15 minutes before my appointment that the MassHealth plan I had to go on recently, that had previously been accepted by Thriveworks, would not longer be accepted because it's a Medicaid plan. So not only has dealing with billing, scheduling, and customer service become extremely stressful, now it's gotten suddenly much more expensive to boot. I guess Thriveworks doesn't think poorer people need mental health care if they can't make any money off of them. From an IT perspective, it's been interesting and sometimes amusing (you have to laugh to keep from crying, right?) to see the poor attempt at a patient portal. You can't even do basic things like schedule appointments in it. Merging two systems into a cohesive whole API really didn't work well.A few years ago I was recommending Thriveworks to people. It's a shame that it's gone so downhill.
S A: This company has the most inflexible cancellation policy ever. Do not use a service if you have children. My daughter got sent home from school sick and when I canceled my appointment I was charged $100 cancellation fee!! Who does this during these post Covid times when the hospitals are filled with sick children. Shame on Thrive networks.!! Do not support this business or the greedy therapist that work for them.
Breanna Cummings: Do not give this company your credit card number. Pretty good counselors, but awful customer service. They incorrectly charge me all the time and it's very difficult to get help through their customer service number. Most of the time no one picks up at all. I've been hung up on by multiple customer service representatives when I've had issues. When they do pick up (and don't hang up on me), the representatives just send a message to the billing team and then I may never hear from them again about my issues unless I continue to hound them. I've called before and just desperately asked for a supervisor but the supervisor is never able to speak to me for some reason. I had to complain on Twitter before someone reached out to me with help and we talked about the incorrect charges through email but the issue still continued with no updates afterward. I got to know the representatives pretty well after calling and emailing for months with no progress. In the end, I had to cancel the card they had access to in order to stop the ridiculous charges. This ruined my 2021 Christmas.
Ashley McCool: Thrive work seems to only care about their Money, I've been trying to get ahold of someone in their billing department for almost two weeks now for a balance that shouldn't be there but no one will get back to me! It's frustrating when you can get a hold of someone to make an appointment no problem but when it has to do the billing you can't get ahold of someone, I was left on hold for a ridiculous amount of time, no one ever answered, I've tried their phone system, that's supposed to call you back in the order that they receive... And again NO CALL BACK! maybe leaving a bad review will get someone to call me back!
Connor Gaffney: Started services two months ago.... both my therapist and psychiatrist quit the company with no notice within one week of each other. Hundreds of dollars down the drain and the company will not do anything to address it except charge me for new practitioners.
Jamie Brousseau: I have worked with Jeffrey White who has been very professional and helpful during our sessions together. He has been very accomodating with my difficult schedule and has provided numerous resources to me even in between appointments on his own time.
caroline fitzpatrick: Angelo Conti has been incredible to work with. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating with his clients. Angelo does a great job with creating a safe space with his clients to grow. His compassion, warmth, and dedication shines through his work!
jorden wiggins: Thriveworks has incorrectly billed my family for the past 2 years. Mid 2020, they charged my husband's credit card for over $1300 in error. When we reached out, they noted that it was in error and after several emails they refunded the total amount charged. Now, in June of 2022, they charged us $600. After asking for an itemized bill and comparing with our health insurance, we realized that they charged us out-of-pocket prices for 6 therapy sessions from Oct-Dec 2021. These claims were denied by our insurance because Thriveworks didn't submit them until March of 2022, which is outside of the contracted submission timeframe. Instead of reaching out to us or appealing to the insurance, Thriveworks charged the card on file with no notification or receipt. We have reached out to them multiple times over the last month and have received no further information regarding this refund.Therapy is great and all, but this company and it's billing office will charge you incorrectly for years to come.
Sam: They automatically enroll you in a $99 dollar per month scheme where you can “talk to your therapist in 15 minute intervals any time”. My insurance covers 100% of services but I still had to ask to opt out of this. The people answering the phone are getting a commission or something on these $99 per month sales because they’re hustling you. They ask for your debit card over the phone so they can “automatically charge the card if you miss an appointment”. Standard practice in the Industry is to simply bill you so the charge is itemized and can be disputed if it’s incorrect. The message you get while waiting on the phone is from the owner of the company who sounds like a tormented version of Kenneth from 30 Rock. This would be funny if their business model wasn’t a total scam. They found a provider who had availability in the next week but they wouldn’t book the appointment without me providing my debit information over the phone. I declined because that’s a ridiculous policy so we both lost out, and my time was wasted by the person trying to steer me into these expensive and unnecessary “customized services”. They may be able to find you a provider but they’ve made a complete racquet out of the process and it’s not worth the price. Positive reviews here are correlated to the providers people have been connected to, not this company. These people only serve as an intermediary, and they’re making bank by exploiting the collective mental heath crisis of 2022.
Alissa Parker: Terrible company with fraudulent billing practices. Do not give this company access to a credit card or bank account.
Todd Casselman: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY DOUBLE CHARGE YOU. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sarah Stankowicz: EDIT: Thriveworks followed up, apologized, and refunded my charges. I was pleasantly surprised by their consideration and hope they will provide more transparency to their clients moving forward.I reached out to ThriveWorks to schedule a brief intake appointment, but found the therapist to be nice but not to my taste, and I said I no longer needed to make appointments. I received no emails, no logins, no confirmations after said appointment and thought it was over and done with. A year and a half later (a few days ago), I receive an email confirming my monthly fee has been charged, and I follow up. Turns out I had been signed up for a subscription service without ever receiving a single email from the company. They shrugged and showed me a document I supposedly Docusigned at 12:30 in the morning (an auto-generated signature, but no record in my docusign account, and again, no email to ever confirm, no login to an online account, nothing). I'm just lucky that whatever system they used made a mistake and clued me into this insanity by sending me a confirmation email, or I'd still be paying now, none the wiser. Be careful with this service.
Jacqueline Young: My therapist, Emily Kossowsky, was fantastic. I'm leaving a one star review for my experience with the Thriveworks office and conflicting information from my clinician. I had spoken to my therapist about pausing my subscription and she said that she had taken care of it for me. However, I was charged the $19 monthly fee the following month anyways. I called the Thriveworks office and they refused to refund me for the $19 and told me that clinicians don't have control over pausing/cancelling subscriptions. I'm upset that I received conflicting information and that clinicians are not informed about the Thriveworks process. This lack of clarity would be devastating for someone in a vulnerable financial situation, especially after building trust with a therapist for so long. Thriveworks needs to tell their clinicians the correct process for pausing/cancelling a subscription so they know what to tell their clients.EDIT: I reached out to them and they refunded me the $19 monthly fee. Review changed from 1 star to 4 stars.
Kim Holt: This organization is terrible. I have had a few sessions with therapist Colleen Good. The session were mediocre. But that is not the reason why I am rating this organization so low. My biggest issue is something happened on their end, where my therapist was longer listed as a provider in the practice, therefore insurance was not covering my last session. I have talked to my provider as well as their billing department. No one ever got back to me to provide any sort of resolution or support. Than to make matters worst, I started seeing charges for the month of November, when was last session was in September. I have reached out to my therapist, billing and chat support. No one has gotten back to me to help resolve this issue.I feel that this practice is very sketchy and shady and would not recommend them to anyone. It’s funny because they charge their patients a few to ensure a more customizable experience. It has been anything but.
Brett Amber Westbrook: I absolutely recommend Kyle Kunkel. She is empathetic and very resourceful. She is relatable and makes conversations easy to engage in. If you're seeking support, go see her!
Brenda Atkins: Being charged monthly fees after cancelling . Now I’m being charged for office visits I’ve never had. Try and call to figure it out and get people who say they will email the correct department… then hear nothing! Call again to find out the email went to wrong dept and wait another week to hear nothing! How can they charge my acct for a visit I never had? HIPAA violation

Adrienne Cohen: Dr. Gloria is fantastic and has been a tremendous help to me over the years. She is excellent with couples counseling and I highly recommend her services even to couples who aren’t necessarily struggling or otherwise in a state of conflict. She helps couples to appreciate and navigate their unique histories and the different sets of concerns, hopes and dreams that they bring to the table. In my case Dr. Gloria was instrumental in helping us build a solid foundation upon which we have built a successful, happy and mutually fulfilling marriage.
Molly Bolton: Dr Gloria saved my 8 year marriage - highly recommend her to all others in Greater Boston. I was referred to her by my dear friend who was also helped
Linda Caswell: Dr. Gloria was recommended to me from a former client. She was instrumental in helping me turn around my marriage and get to the point where we could have and grow a family! Thank you again Dr. G!

Mark Vertel: Dr. Tamara Feldman came highly recommended by a friend of the family and I'm glad I took the advice to go and talk to her. I do not want to go into any details, for obvious reasons. But I do want to leave a very positive review for Dr. Feldman. She has been a great help, to me at first, but later on also to my wife. Thank you so much!

Thriveworks Counseling: what do users think?
Kyle Collins (thepaplin): Jennifer Kneeland is fantastic and professional!
Mona Bazargani: I don’t know if this is a legitimate clinic or not, regardless I need therapy just for their mind numbing scheduling process. I’ve called this place to get an appointment with Dr. cavallaro three times. Each time they’ve kept me on the phone for minimum 45mins to an hour because they had to ask everything about me from my childhood origins to my daily life issues… to then never send me an appointment confirmation. The third time they told me, they think this doctor doesn’t take new patients but they’re not sure so they’ll call me. You think they ever called me back? When you call the exact location# it still goes to their general dispatch team which is outsourced to other states. I can confidently say this place is the Comcast of therapists.
Heidi Gonzalez: I had the pleasure of working with Kadesha Turnbull and was able to see the wonderful and amazing clinician that she is! She was always attentive to her client’s needs and built a strong rapport with them. She is also a wonderful person to work with as she was always open to collaborate and communicate with others, as well as take any input from others.
Julisa Curet: Kadesha Turnbull is a wonderful clinician! I had the privilege to work alongside her, and thus am able to say that her ethics and character shines in her work. Kadesha is a clinician who produces lasting impact to her client's lives.
Greg Bodenair: I have had such a poor experience with the Thriveworks Counseling support team. I have called on multiple occasions trying to get clarification on whether or not the clinician I was trying to see accepted my insurance, and then had further questions about billing that have gone unanswered after numerous attempts to get answers. VERY UNHAPPY with my experience.
Courtney D: Dr. Cavallaro is a true credit to psychologists everywhere. I worked with her for two years, and the breadth and depth of her knowledge and insight is astounding. She brings an authentic, intelligent, fun, empathetic, reassuring, empowering presence to her patients. She meets people where they are at, and helps them to get to where they want to be. She continually strives to increase her knowledge, and application, of evidence based therapeutic modalities in order to provide top quality care. To put it frankly, she is the absolute best!
Robyn Hacker: I worked closely with Dr. Cavallaro for two and a half years. She is a skilled psychologist who seeks out additional training and deploys evidence based treatments working with clients. Dr. Cavallaro is also a very skilled evaluator and writes thorough evaluations answering complex questions. She is passionate about her work and excels working with people with substance use disorders and trauma histories.
Katie Larkin: Dr. Cavallaro is a phenomenal clinician. I have had the privilege of working with her professionally for three years. She is passionate in her practice and exudes empathy and compassion. Dr. Cavallaro is committed to her own professional growth and development which makes her that much greater of a psychologist for those she serves. She has been a primary referral for patients seeking support with substance abuse, trauma, grief, and coping skills. Her ability to treat the whole person using evidence based approaches is inspiring!
James Wilson: Dr Rachel Cavallaro is a prime example of how to be a person let alone a doctor, very professional , compassionate and attentive!
Kat Wilson: Dr. Rachel Cavallaro is professional and compassionate. Dr. Cavallaro is attentive and intuitive. You can tell she has passion for what she does. Dr Cavallaro really helps you work towards solutions that feel natural. I would recommend her to anyone.
