Balans Organic Spa - Massage, Facial, Float Therapy: what do users think?
Samantha Kussmann: Christina is a healer, she works magic. I will only get massages with her from now on. Spa is clean, relaxing, no major frills makes it easy to focus on getting the best treatment.
Sarah Hubbard: Really disappointing experience and unfortunately the worst massage I’ve ever had. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but this was just such a bummer and no where near worth the price.Had *really* been looking forward to my visit here— I booked and paid online as a treat for my birthday, when I arrived they didn’t have the appointment I had booked. They were nice about offering a later time in the day and offered a float session, but was a bummer to rearrange the day.I’ve never had a bad massage before, but unfortunately this was really really disappointing. Most of the time was spent just laying there with really long transition times between everything. Each area would get a few light strokes and then be over... I think I spent more time just laying there than I did getting a massage. I also asked for a few focus areas and they maybe got 1 min. No where near worth the price. I’m walking away feeling like I didn’t get a massage at all :(
SpawnGorillaz: Awful
Gina: Booked for my friends birthday (we’re from out of town) and last minute told us what I booked was out of service, so we then settled for something we didn’t want to do. Told us we’d be charged if we come or don’t come. That’s Bad business, regardless of your cancellation policy. Now looking at other reviews, I wouldn’t recommend.
Eve Sinclair: Absolutely making Balans part of my wellness routine. The setting is intimate and very comfortable -- especially the rocking chairs. The neighborhood itself (Back Bay) is a cultural experience in itself. The Staff is welcoming, pleasant, and patient. Lucas, my massage therapist, worked the heck out of my problem areas! AND an "OMG, YESSS!" to the flotation room -- this experience should be in every spa. Alas, it is not. So work your way to Balans. You will Not be disappointed. A must visit!
S C: Had a great massage here! This is a small, no frills, boutique spa, with a very small and dark waiting area but had a great experience from staff.
Kevin Brumit: The staff really made my wife's birthday getaway a special one for us. Our massages were perfect and relaxing. Will come again when we're in Boston next.
Trini Prince: Highly recommend my wife went for her birthday and she loved it she'll be returning
Bailey Ethier: Have attempted to book an appointment here 4 times over the past week via ClassPass and every time they have canceled last minute! Finally called and they said they prioritize direct appointments and cancel ClassPass reservations at the ClassPass customer's expense. Why are you even on ClassPass then?
Anna M: Very Disappointed! Given that this is a very pricey spa, I was expecting good results when booking a lash lift. The lash lift did not take. After spending 150+ on it I would have expected an adequate solution and compensation - I was told nothing could be done, only a touch up weeks out. Disappointing to say the least!
Thalia Paraskis: Job interview unprofessional
Samantha Sawyer: I highly recommend this spa. It all starts when you enter, and take off your shoes, are greeted with the most friendly reception and offer of tea or water.I had a facial with Siobhan, and she was relaxing while also performing and amazing extraction! I can’t wait to return.
Stephanie Desanges: I made a reservation two weeks in advance for my birthday and they called me one day before the appointment to tell me that they don’t have a massage therapist with no reconciliation. That is horrible planning and customer service.
Zara I: The front desk was extremely rude when I asked to book an appointment with Dazirae, who is the main reason the salon won best of Boston for facials this year. The owner is extremely shady and does not treat her employees well. The environment in the salon is tense and the employees are visibly under watch by the extremely overbearing manager. Overall uncomfortable vibe created by the owner of the spa. They lost three of their best employees last month and Balans Organic Spa is no longer worth the astronomical price tag because of that. Spend your money at the numerous other places that offer the same services in a better environment.
Aishwarya Bobbili: This is my first time and i had a good experience. My skin feels great and i will definitely continue going for my next sessions of facials. The esthetician was good but she speaks very quick in explaining things which i did not understand well.
Kelly Seibler: Had a prenatal massage here 7.5 months pregnant. It was rejuvenating. They have a massage therapist who is very familiar with pregnancy safe massage techniques so you know you are in good hands!
Lauren Rohr: I was lucky enough to have been gifted the “ultimate relaxation” package for my birthday, and even luckier to have been matched with Kristen my first time here. She was extremely knowledgeable in our consultation and very easy to talk to. The massage was one of the best in recent memories and while I’m fairly new to the facial game, it flowed seamlessly from the massage and was delightful. The float afterwards was the cherry on top, and Kristen even found me after to apply extra product that I enjoyed using during the facial. Would recommend and will be going back soon!
daria koshkina: Great place. Very professional massage, with good organic cosmetics, plus floating is incredibly relaxing. Ladies are very professional and nice. ❤️❤️❤️
Emily Medley: I was visiting from out of town, and booked a massage with Natalie. I don’t usually write reviews, but she deserves one. It was the BEST, BEST, BEST massage I have ever had in my life! When my husband asked why I thought that, the only thing I could think to say was “her skill.” I have had massages in some of the most wonderful spas in America and I can honestly say this was the best. Too bad Boston is so far from Houston, but I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
Ja Ma: This is such an incredible Spa. Mirna at the desk is so kind and pleasant to speak with and I had a massage from Cristina who was able to really get out my knots in my back. The Float therapy was incredible as well! I will definitely be back.
Amy Raiole: I had an absolutely incredible experience at Balans! I had a 60 minute classic organic facial with Kristen. She was knowledgeable and had magic hands!!! My skin is very sensitive and the products were incredibly soothing and nourishing for my skin! After my facial, I had the loveliest conversation with Marie about wellness! I can't wait for my next visit!

Balance Studio: what do users think?
alexsandra cosme: Coco the masseuse was amazing , will definitely be vising again. Clean, punctual and very affordable.
Ilia Baum: Incredible 60 min massage! Will come regularly.
Gustavo Rosa: Don't recommend
Javier Castillo: Terrible service, not helpful at all.
Boxy Boxy: I came here with my boyfriend and did a couples massage. My body the next day is in extreme pain. The woman focused too much on my shoulders and was rough. Also, the guy kept going out to do stuff. You need more staff clearly. What kind of massage are you really getting if the guy is always going in and out?
Allyse Sanchez: Went in for a deep tissue massage with my boyfriend and it was great!! We’ll both be back again in the future.
M. Anthony: I had a couple massage and it was amazing. We both loved the massage. Both very pleased with the services received. The staff workers are very friendly and do a great job. Will definitely be back.
Satsita Baieva: Balance Studio is a completely unprofessional Massage place. They had reschedule my appointment twice without my consent and tried to charge me again for their own doing. They have charged my card twice for a tip when I gave them cash and added a little more to meet the 20% requirement. The massage did absolutely nothing for me. All they do is slap your body and press down on it. Over all, I would never go back and do suggest you don’t waste your time and money. If i could go back in time, I would just so I wouldn’t have to experience Balance Studio.
Emily Andrews: Friendly & a great message. Might regularly leave or answer phone call during the message though 😂 #gotabusinesstorun
Aine King: Awful experience. Bought the couple deep tissue massage. The massage therapists barely even went into our muscles. Felt like they were trying to cause friction with rubbing our backs like a dog along with random smacking. Therapist left door open for a minute in the middle of massage while I was undressed on table and towel wasn’t covering me. Neither massage therapist communicated to us about sore spots, pressure level, or where we felt most tense. Not worth it at all. Spend the $20 extra somewhere else for an actual massage.
Tanner Wood: Worst massage I’ve ever received. You can hear the other coworkers have conversations right outside the room extremely loudly plus a ton of street noise as well. The massage was terrible as well. We got the couples deep tissue massage and they barely did any pressure. They also went in and out of the room numerous times during the massage and even switched masseuses at one point. I began my massage with a male masseuse then at one point looked up and now had a female masseuse which was so bizarre. Finally after receiving this terrible service i left a $20 tip and the man at the front desk straight up asked me for more money. This was the worst experience ive ever received i would avoid this place like the plague.
Tyler Wolf: Fantastic couples massage! Thank you
Christopher Herran: This man is a master of his craft. Great massage. He felt problem areas and worked on them thoroughly. Felt lighter and more agile afterwards.
Kimberly Bautista: Worst massage ive ever had. The fact that this is on newbury st in boston and has 4 stars is beyond me.I kept asking for a deep massage and she was just rubbing me giving an Indian rug burn i had to ask her to stop. They did not give me a massage, and when I tried correcting her she just kept doing the same thing. They stopped the massage 3 times because customers came in. And finished 10 minutes earlier than the hour. I told them it wasnt a full 60 min and asked for extra time since they stopped so much and they ended up just completing the 60 minutes.I was supper annoyed. And wanted to just leave. Did not get the relaxing experience i was looking for or a massage
Danny Hall: Excellent 60 minute massage.
E Rowland: The employees were very nice and respectful. The massage itself was ok. It was way too light, even after asking for it to be harder. The woman just kept rubbing lotion in rather than pressing into my body. The stone treatment was good. My partner enjoyed his massage a lot from the male. We did not experience being asked for 20% tip upfront like many other reviews. We paid too (20%) after the massage completed, and paid what we felt was fair. Great deal with the Groupon.
Conrad Miszczak: Girlfriend and I went for a couples deep tissue massage, we loved it! They found all of my painful spots in my back and helped me feel much better. The staff was lovely, the studio was clean, music was soothing, and was pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of hot stones in the massage. Would 100% come again and recommend this studio to anyone! :)
Alex Lowe: This is a quaint friendly massage place. It’s located on the 2nd floor of the corner building, there was a sign so finding it was no issue for my wife and I. They were nice, and the massages were okay to good. The man has very firm pressure even painful in some areas, but never held one spot for so long to be aggravating… except for the feet. There were a couple spots were I almost tapped out, but I work on my feet all day and just gritted through some painful holds. My wife said she wished the female masseuse put in more pressure. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s a very communicative process, but I did notice he focused on the knots in my left shoulder, which was great. I would say this is good place to give a try when you find a good Groupon price.
Raj Vinjamuri: Great rates for deep tissue massage. It's on the second floor, you have to enter through the side street entrance, and it's best to call ahead.
Bl ake: Not against tipping at all but demanding 20% upfront without ever mentioning it over the phone is low of this business and shady. They did not even perform the correct massage even though it was spoken of over the phone prior to the appointment. Very unprofessional and poor massage experience overall
Anastas Dancha: Very nice couples massage with hot stones experience. Strong hands, but you're being asked if more or less pressure is desired.

Bliss Spa: what do users think?
Nick Corbett: Go here for waxing only but it's always a good experience. Arrive early and use the steam shower. Leanne is the best technician there for sure. Wish it were cheaper but it's worth every penny.
Erika Jones: From the moment I entered, all of my worries disappeared. I reserved an appointment for a facial with the bliss spa. First they showed me the locker room. They gave me a robe, sandals and led me to the waiting room. In there, there were stationary hors’duerves with teas for everyone. All relaxed from there on. My service was 75 minutes and every single part of it was so soothing and awesome. They started with an exfoliating microdermabrasion and ended with a super hydrating and nourishing mask. The products they used all smelled soooo delicious. It felt like the Soarin ride. I was riding around the world on a hang glider, smelling all the different, amazing scents of the world. This was the ultimate treat!
Johnny Chen: Had Vince as my therapist. He uses pressure points as a way massaging, not what I expected. I’m sure some people prefer that....just not what I was looking for.
Ross Novak: Love it
Gillian Johnson: Blissful as alwaysFrom the super sweet and cute receptionist with red hair I think her name is Lauren or Laura always smiling and cheerful to my super esthetician Josephina you can’t help but feel welcomed every visit. Awesome atmosphere, lovely locker rooms with the awesome shower and treats in the waiting area to the never disappointing treatments you can’t go wrong. 😊
Liz Essex: Loved my experience at Bliss. My fiance surprised me with a getaway to the city, and a trip to Bliss for my birthday. I had a massage it was amazing. We talked about my problem areas and it was the most relaxed I have ever felt. Afterwards you can use steam shower and shower to get ready for your day. Very comfy and cozy area. The receptionist were knowledgeable and helpful for purchasing products and they even gave me a birthday cupcake! I will definitely be back.
Chloe Thompson-Booth: Really disappointing experience. I have wanted a Bliss facial my entire life and was so excited to finally go. Facilities were lovely and it started out very nice and relaxing. When I met with my therapist she told me that I had picked the incorrect facial for my skin type and would therefore do a different facial which was a little cheaper but also a little shorter in length. She then spent the next hour upselling me various add-ons which I all of a sudden needed according to how my skin had reacted to other products. Surely she should have had a good idea in the first place about what would have worked since she was so sure my original choice was the wrong one. It was impossible to relax while she kept saying “you need this, it’s only an extra $30...” while I’m lying down with my skin covered in product. The option of add-ons should have been discussed up front so I wasn’t in the uncomfortable position of having to make decisions about adding more cost to an already expensive facial while also trying to relax. What’s more, these add-on services don’t actually buy you any more time on the beauty table, they just eat into your allotted hour, so I ended up paying $70 more than my original chosen facial cost for 15 minutes LESS time (as my original choice of the Tripe Oxygen Facial was 75 mins rather than 60). The therapist also spent a good 30 mins talking to me about her personal problems (I shouldn’t have told her I was a psychologist - although in hindsight, I could have been charging her for the session!). To add final insult to injury, when I went to pay the final price was more than expected because the therapist had mis-quoted the cost of some of the add-ons. The checkout staff were unapologetic and refused to check in with the therapist about the price she had quoted me and insisted I had to pay the price listed in their book. Another reason to select all your add-ons before treatment starts. I was at the spa with friends and we were all trying to have a relaxing morning, so I didn’t want to be the one causing a huge fuss, but in hindsight I should have spoken to the manager. It was a really unpleasant experience and at $245 for a facial I would have expected better. I will not return to a Bliss - I’ve had facials for a quarter of the price than have been significantly better quality. My advice? Don’t bother with Bliss!
Pimhatai Koslowsky: Maureen is the best. Love her!
Sarah Lee: Bliss indeed - I got a prenatal massage here from Drea and it was fantastic. They have a fantastic maternity pillow that lets you lay on your stomach and it's so supportive it makes you feel not pregnant. The spa is very clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Margaret-Ann Simonetta: Bliss Boston is the only salon/spa I trust with my nails, and trust me... I've tried many salons. They use CND Shellac, OPI, and Essie products, and the salon is always spotless in terms of cleanliness. Tao is my bi-weekly clinician and she is the BEST! I have also recieved facials and massages via this location as well, and the staff is always well trained and friendly.
Eddie Romirez: Great
Jimmy Batista: Went for a pedicure with Alexis last night. The experience was amazing. She brought me some tea and brownies, before we started. Then she gave me wireless Beats headphones, so i could watch a movie on their ipad stand and a heated neck pillow. I almost felll asleep I was so comfty. lol The foot massage was sooo clutch from a long week of work! What more could I ask for?!?! Glad I found this place. I'll def be back to see Alexis for my next mani/pedi. :)
Amy: Friendly staff who make you feel comfortable, with free tea while you're waiting. My clinician was easygoing and made me feel comfortable in addition to providing great service. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars as Bliss in general has been having issues with their website and it's really difficult to make an appointment online - but I imagine as a company-wide issue, it will get figured out eventually (I hope). When that happens, 5 stars.
Dave Brown: The customer service reps are fantastic and make the experience so relaxing. Shout out to Kelsey for being awesome!
Nelson Feliciano: The best spa in Boston bar none. I go here for massage, amazing. Professional, relaxing, attentive and knowledgeable. I suggest Bliss to others and purchase gifts certificates here often!
Ophir Buchman: Wow... that was something else... Enjoyed every moment
Devoted Mcmill: I work across the street from this Spa. I often walk by it as I have a regular nail technician. Today, April 28th, shortly after noon, I decided to give it a try. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady at the front desk who informed me that I would need to go to the second floor for my nail needs. She pressed for the elevator and accompanied me. I walked towards the receiving desk and noticed that she was busy with a client. The receptionist acknowledged me and said she would be right with me. Well, when that client left, she continued looking at her computer and stapling receipts. Another young lady walked by and while she smile didn't offer to assist. Now there were two behind the counter. They chatted with each other. All the while the other one kept her eyes on the computer screen. Then another customer came out and she immediately asked to help her. She preceded to do that and once again when the client left she went back to looking at receipts and stapling them. It was as if neither one of them wanted to assist me. Maybe, I became invisible? No, this is what I think. I am black and I don't think either one wanted to wait on me because of that. Why do I say that. Because the other clients that they so quickly waited on were not Black. I will now tell all of my co-workers and friends about their ignorance, unprofessional and unfair prejudicial treatment that I received. As I was leaving the young lady on the first floor asked if they were able to help me. I told her no and sadly,. I think it's because of the color of my skin. Because my money is green. I can't be the first one to experienced this? Any way, I rate them as the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER received in any customer service establishment in the State of Massachusetts. I'll continue walking on by.....
Michael Bootier: The customer service at Bliss spa is absolutely dreadful. Traveling from out of town, my wife and a friend attempted to book a massage together. In the midst of the booking process, my wife's friend noticed that she had an allergy to the products used. The website recommended that she not book a massage, and she did not. My wife, however, completed the booking, only to later learn of this issue. The massage was booked late on a Saturday evening for a Sunday evening appointment. First thing Sunday morning, my wife tried to cancel the massage. She did not feel comfortable traveling by herself in a strange city. The staff was completely unsympathetic and refused to offer any accommodation. The spa did not suffer any loss. This was not an appointment that was booked months prior, precluding others from booking the slot. It is quite clear that Bliss spa in Boston, and particularly, Flavia, the manager, do not care about the comfort or well being of their customers. Instead, they only care about profits, regardless of the customer experience. It remains to be seen if the corporate managers at Bliss are equally callous.
Karen Chance Mercurius: I am a huge fan of Bliss NYC and this Boston location is terrific. I was pleasantly surprised and blown away with the specific touches. Great service and mellow location.I would recommend Bliss anytime for relaxation.

Viyada Thai Spa: what do users think?
Teresa giglio: Book with Kimberly! I got a deep tissue massage it was the best massage I’ve ever had. The pressure was perfect and she made me feel comfortable. I will definitely come back as long as she’s there!
Ellen E. Thompson: What a great experience! Beautiful relaxing interiors, friendly service and excellent massage. I had never had a thai style service before and walked away impressed (and relaxed, mentally and physically!) will definitely be back.
J B: Clean friendly space great massage
Whitney Fredrickson: absolutely incredible. 100% recommend
Mariam Yak: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismWe had a couples massage with Opal and Chris. Both were super friendly, professional and expert masseuses. We felt so relaxed and comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxing and serene as well - they offer water/tea and are very kind and friendly.
Danielle Grimm: I attended the two day Thai massage intensive in Nov and I'm thrilled beyond words with my experience. Krit was an amazing teacher, very patient and thorough with his explanations and demonstrations. The entire staff was very friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The spa is gorgeous inside and instills a sense of calm right away. Intensive is a great descriptor, my body was beat by Tuesday night but my brain was full and I feel more and more confident in my skills each time I go through the routine. I'm watching the website very closely so when the advanced course drops I can sign up. Thank you so much, Viyada!
Tania Fabo: This review is based on the experience of my sister who had an absolutely horrible experience. They treat black people especially poorly over here. Manager is quite rude and definitely needs to practice his customer service skills. Front desk employee needs to stop stereotyping black women (look at the racist response they wrote below to her review, stereotyping her as yelling and aggressive when she was in fact speaking very calmly). All she wanted was a massage and instead she got treated like she was nothing.
Stacey Fabo: Do not come here at all but especially if you value your money. These people did not communicate their policies to us at all, and turned us away when we came when they said we could come. BUT mind you still charged us $320 for a service we never received. Manager of the locations was incredibly rude and walked away from us midsentence as we tried to explain our situation . Then quite literally told us to quiet down as we asked if we could sit down and speak to him. Please listen to me bc I would give 0 stars if I could. Also incredibly racist treatment.
nunya beeswax: Absolutely loved my visit. Was visiting from out of town. I hadn't been to a massage in months cuz I was seeing a chiro and an ortho after a car accident 6 months ago. That massage made me feel better than all the visits to the chiro. I've never been a huge chiro adjustment believer anyway, this massage was Exactly what I needed. Wish they were closer to home, I'd be a regular. I'm coming back next time I'm in Boston. ❤️
Julie Allouche: Thank you! Great time!
Chelsea Allen: Step off the bustling Newbury street to this hidden oasis. Professional, clean, beautiful, calm interior - hard to believe it's right in the center of it all! I had Opal for a 30min Neck, Shoulder, Back... absolutely game changing. She was phenomenal and everyone who worked there was lovely. Definitely be back soon!
Tania Harsono: I had a 90 min Thai massage with Jeff, he did a great job! All my muscles were sore + tender from climbing and the pressure/ stretches/ adjustments he did were expertly applied. Receptionist was friendly, she offered tea & water, and gave me my intake form (which Jeff read very carefully and asked me specific questions about before we got started). Pricey but not out of line with other Back Bay spas.
Caroline Howerton: What a joke. I booked a massage there at 7pm (was in town for work). I arrived early as instructed (around 6:50). Barely greeted by the receptionist (who clearly didnt know how to set the mood for a spa experience), i then waited as my therapist was running late. At 7:15 she finally came out and I went into the therapy room, but I had to wait some more on the table. She gave me every impression that I was disturbing her and didnt care at all about my experience (talked loud, complained about her day, didnt ask me the usual pre massage chit chat…)THEN (wait for it) as I was face down on the massage table, i heard her say casually “oh by the way im gonna be using gloves today because i cut my finger cutting vegetables”I mean sure that sounds painful and I felt sorry but massage with platic gloves, really?! Especially without giving me any options - they should have given me a heads up upfront, as well as offer a discount. As I was already there, it proceeded, and I had the massage with her wearing plastic gloves, which obviously wasnt great. I asked her if it was painful and if she was ok and she said it was totally fine and she didnt feel the cut at all…They did extend the slot to make up for the delay (I came out about 8:10) but I was asked to pay full price…Anyhow - the lack of expectations management was obvious, the massage was mediocre, but above all, the style, vibe and delivery from the employees were really not that of a spa in my opinion. I will definitely NOT be coming back.
Khwlah Almutair: The 60min message and the body scrubbing I had was good. I payed $214 for the service after discount which is fine. The guy at the register ruined my experience. He asked for %25 tip which means more than $50! I payed for tip $26 and the guy was not satisfied and not welcoming. Also, I asked for a receipt and he said we don’t give a receipt for a cash payer!!! (He gave it to me after I insisted) Will never come back again.
Alicia A Anderson: Amazing tension relief & therapeutic traditional Thai massage or soothing waterfall like techniques. Everyone here is truly gifted ✨
Mike McCrorey: I had a very good experience here. It smelled great, all the staff were nice, everything was clean, and the massage/masseuse were fantastic.Had to knock two while stars for pricing, one for not advertising it and the other for it being obscenely high. Costs can't be found online and I'm still in shock by the $172 I had to pay for a 90 minute session, BEFORE the tip and AFTER a 20% new customer discount. That's $50 more than other places around here and something I'd have checked had I been less trusting or less in need of the therapy while on travel.I'd love to say I'll be back but there's no way.
Peggy Louis: You leave on cloud 9! The deep tissue massage is absolutely everything 🙌 😍.
May: Sheets seemed to have some makeup on them, massage therapist was late to my appointment. All that is fine given the massage was okay in itself, but the person at the front (manager?) applied a bigger tip to my receipt than I said, then tried to argue with me about the tip amount.
Esther: massage was good, but like other reviews say, double check what they charge you. they give you 20% off your first massage, and I tipped 20% off of the amount that they charged me (which was 20% off the price!). looked at the charge a day later and saw that they charged me 20% of the original? shady given the fact that the massage is pricey (around $200) already
Hannah Mrozak: I had purchased a gift certificate for my daughter for Christmas and I was ensured that she would be able to use the 20% off that was been offered at that time that I purchased the gift certificate. When she went in for her massage she was told that because she had been there before they would not honor the 20%. When I called and spoke with the manager he would not take care of the situation I explained that I was told by an employee that they would get the 20%. Very poor communication and customer service would not recommend!
Stephanie: This place is excellent when it comes to massage - the masseuses are very attentive and thorough! They really focus on the areas in which you ask them too. The massage experience is a 10/10.The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because they don’t have very much transparency in their pricing. When you’re paying such a high price there should be 100% upfront transparency in the cost. There was a discrepancy in the price I was asked to pay and what was stated on their sheet. It took some time to eventually get the issue resolved but these sort of things should be very clear from the beginning at such a high end establishment.

Tanya Shoock: Wonderful spa. Been going to Rupa for many years. Best sugaring in Boston. Rupa is professional, skilled at what she does, and makes you feel immediately welcome. Rupa is the best in Boston! Hidden gem.
Solange Clarke: Best facials and sugaring in Boston! Love going to see Rupa#
Katie M: Super clean space, and the staff were very friendly. I don’t get facials often and she was so kind explaining what to expect and making me feel comfortable. The 30 minute massage was perfect as well. It was a great way to get some self-care in, and I look forward to my next visit!
Gilma Vargas: Critical:Professionalism,Quality
Meher Vohra: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Titi Folayan: Went here as a birthday gift. The facial and massage were awesome. I truly enjoyed my time there.Heads up that parking isn’t great and you’ll likely have to pay for it.
Shaylyn Carey: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI love this spa - it is my favorite in the Boston area. It has such a relaxing ambiance, and the owner has taken every possible safety precaution to mitigate the potential spread of COVID. I have had many services done here: mani/pedi, facials, massages, and they always hit the spot!
Ebby rene: Beautiful experience! Felt like a queen the moment I came in. I treated myself to a massage, facial and pedicure and left out feeling amazing. Staff were pleasant, kind and super caring to my needs. Will definitely come back xoxo - Ebony Weathers
Kristin N: Great service! I come here for my nails and facials. Love the pampering, and my nails and skin look fantastic afterwards.
Robert Fitton: Bought one of Adara's packages for my wife for a random trip. The services were great and the location is beautiful! Thanks Grace!
Eileen L: Perfect pedicure w ruby red color for the Red Sox home opener today. Also enjoyed a new eye non-invasive treatment service. So soothing, and I see a real difference already!
Terresa Zhang: I stopped by for a facial and was incredibly happy with the result. The staff of Adara Spa are very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain the treatments and help you with whatever you're looking for even if you don't know what it is yet. Highly recommended!
Danielle Palomar: Amazing mani and Pedi
Liz Bagley: The best spa in town!
Catherine Tate: I got the Adara facial and a manicure. Great experience. I felt welcomed, taken care of, relaxed, and refreshed. My manicure stayed on perfectly for two weeks! They run specials often so check out their website!
Marisa Daniel: I've been here a few services, most frequently shellac manicures. I'm also greeted warmly and the service is great. I'd definitely recommend Adara to anyone who's looking for a great place to get a manicure done!
MARIA MATOAKA: Personal are very attentive, respectful and advice you about your body care. They take the time to explain you about treatment and check on you during treatment session. I felt very special. Thanks Adara girls!!
Abi E (headienow): Adara Spa is locally owned by 2 sincere women that truly cares for thier clients and their needs. Best in Boston as far as I'm aesthetically concerned. Facial, Body Slimming and Toning really works but just like anything aesthetically, proper nutrition, exercise and hydration are most important to any lifestyle. The Slimming and Toning packages they offer are great when combined. You will feel you're working out during Arasys (Toning) and you will sweat during Sudatonic (Slimming) - if you don't, you did not get what you paid for! Toning and Slimming is hard work.Manicure and Pedicure is professional, comfortable and private. They also offer quality products like shellacs. They also provide great deals! Must join their mailing list to get these offers better than Groupon and the likes. Plus, you're directly helping these 2 local business women to keep going and do what they do best when it comes to making you feel good.
Marlissa Martinez Ed.D: I Went here after my lecture for the first time with my best friend and we got our nails done together we felt so relaxed ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ this massage on my legs had taken the stress away ♥
Rebecca Ehrenkranz: My friend and I used a groupon for this spa. Neither of us had ever had much spa experience or facials before. I think they did a good job- the place is small and relaxing, and the staff was very friendly and open. I got a great manicure, and I do think the facial improved my dry skin.
Lauren Kehoe: The arasys system is great, no doubt, but honestly I just love the pampering at Adara. Everyone is so nice, and it is without doubt the best pedicure in the city--and I'm picky. I've also had a facial and a body scrub there, and both were fantastic. I leave happy and relaxed, and I walk out to the smell of the sea, since I'm on the wharf, and delicious food, since I'm in the North End. What's not to love? Go pamper yourself at Adara!

Didi's Spa: what do users think?
Maria Isabel Torres Perez: Demasiado profesional el servicio! Excelente calidez humana
kaitlin andryauskas: I went to Didi’s spa for a facial and it was amazing 🤩. First off, my skin looks great, I look 3-5 years younger than I did this morning. Define lines are reduced, and Didi introduced me to a great product for sunscreen.Secondly, it was the most relaxing facial I’ve ever had. She has a marvelous touch, and it was extremely relaxing and restorative. I can’t wait to go back
don byakuya: This experience was very frustrating. The massage wasn’t bad yet I didn’t get to enjoy the massage for the entire time as Lily ended before my time was up. This is unacceptable. I also peeped the reaction of Lily when it was time to cash out that tip. I felt uncomfortable making that transaction and hope she can cool out one day and just do her job.
Gürkan İlkehan: It was a bad experience, they rushed it and get too much money. And they deleted my comment from under.
Angela Sobieck: We had the most amazing couples massage with Didi and Lily. They were both very attentive to our individual needs and made us feel extremely comfortable. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We felt other than a fancy ambience their massages outperformed those we have had at designer spas at twice the price. Thank you for helping us find an affordable and relaxing way to end our busy vacation in Boston!
Victoria Gawlik: Lily was wonderful!!! I was in a lot of pain, and she made it pretty much disappear. I highly recommend her. She is intuitive, knowledgable, and very pleasant. I will be coming back.
Nicole Niss: I've gotten massages from Didi, Liliana, and Lily and you seriously cannot go wrong with these three wonderful women. They're all amazing and I'm going to seriously miss these massages when I move from the area!
Katerine Montero: Best mother day gift
Gerson Reyes: Good experience
jorge Soto: Positive:Quality
motomarkus: Diana is fantastic, very personable and reasonably priced.
J3M3R MK: Great place in East Boston for a massage. Clean, smells really good. Tranquil, perfect relaxing music. The best of all you walk out of there feeling great. Very Profesional.
Christine Pizzo: One of the absolute best massages I've ever gotten. Didi is so courteous and knows many different techniques, and does exactly what is right for you. I continue to go on a monthly basis.
Liliana Vanegas: Gracias Didi, me encantan tus masajes y tú calidez. Dios te bendiga.
D M: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityA true professional whom has perfected her craft! I highly recommend her , you will leave feeling rejuvenated. Well worth every cent!
Nereida Restrepo: Positive:Professionalism
Kelley Best: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have gotten many massages in my life, but as long as Didi is open, I won’t waste my time or $ on any other therapist! She is a small lady, but she is very strong & while going deep, she stretches out your muscles so they won’t tense up once you leave her. Best $ I’ve ever spent & I will be seeing her again soon 😊
Jacob J: Great deep tissue massage!
Anthony Ospina: Absolutely love this place! Didi is amazing at her craft very professional. Rates are amazing will definitely be back !
Cindy Madden: Great massage, lovely therapist.
