The Urban Hound Hotel & Daycare: what do users think?
Curt Echo: Extremely expensive and unorganized
Aron Wagnr: Never answered phone or returned a message after several calls.
Jamie Lynn: Vicky, Angela, and their grooming team always deliver a top-notch experience!
Kate Schade: The Urban Hound Hotel was the perfect place to board our dog during our Boston wedding. We live out of state and planned to include Beau in the ceremony but needed to board him for the rest of the wedding weekend due to hotel pet polices, etc. The Urban Hound worked with our specific wedding timeline to allow for Beau to be present when we needed him and coordinated with our hired dog handler for pick up and drop off on the wedding day. We are super thankful for their customer service and will always board Beau here whenever we're in MA in the future. Thank you!
Jennifer Guild: I cannot say enough great things about this place or the staff- absolutely above and beyond in so many ways. We left our dog for the week while away on vacation and he struggled with some anxiety being the first time away from us for that long. They were incredibly attentive and picked up on his anxiety, and made accommodations to truly make his stay a more relaxing one. Sarah treated him like her own, Rebecca and Abby sent me updates throughout the week, and I can’t thank them all enough.
Ed Vena: The best people for your dogs!
Cherish Dixon: Wow just wow!!! Thank you, Jeremy!! My sweet multipoo, Kobe went in this morning completely matted. Like a whole HOT MESS. Kobe looks amazing now!! I don't know how or what they did but clearly the Urban Hound hires magicians!!! Not only did they do an amazing job, Jeremy game me instructions on how to best care for Kobe's grooming in the future since my sweet baby has anxiety. Thank you, Urban Hound!!
Jacob V: We have used The Urban Hound for daycare and boarding for our 7 month old puppy, and couldn't be happier. Every time we pick him up, he tries to turn around and go back inside the front door. While it's slightly more expensive than some other places, you absolutely get what you pay for and worth every cent. The facility, staff, and care are seriously top notch.
Zak Knudson: Great facilities in a good location in the south end. However, be aware that they specialize in high priced training programs as a pre-requisite for their day care services. I took my pup for a “trail run” day care day and he was denied entry for “not responding to other dogs cues”. I found this odd because he has regularly attended two other day care services in the area with zero issues. He is a small dog that is not aggressive. Upon denying my dog entry, they then tried to up-sell me into a $2K training program with a 4 month waiting list. I’ve since found several other day care programs nearby that have been much more welcoming for those not willing to commit to a highly expensive training boot camp.
Shila and Dario Gonzalez-Sharifi: I can not express how great our experience has been in The urban hound. My old little boy Diezel is a 10 year old Maltese and has been going to Urban-hound for Grooming , Daycare , training and boarding at hotel since 2011 .My second pupstar Pebbles ( chunky brown Havanese ) joined him in 2018.Grooming department is amazingThey keep up w the latest innovation and trends . They use all delicious Doggo friendly products to JOOJ the Doggos. It is a true spa Day for them . Viki and her team would always give Diezel and Pebbles breed special hair cuts and would change their looks season to season .And after each grooming my little floofs would walk out of the Spa in their brand new season appropriate bandana smelling and looking heavenly.Rebeca the owner is an amazing lady , who truly loves all her doggo students and she chooses her staff accordingly. The Urban hound has been a second home to my fur babies for all their life , they have made many friends both doggo and human at the the urban hound. It’s the placed that when I leave my dogs I know they are as loved and protected that they would be at home with us .
Anna Moreva: I have never written a review before and I am not sure how exactly to write it. I have a dog, and her name is Layla (she is Cavachon) - the most adorable and friendly dog. She is 3 years old now and when she was just about 6 months, I sent her to a groomer - I wish I have never sent her there because her hair cut was so bad - I didn’t even recognize my dog. I became very skeptical about grooming because it is my first dog. Soon enough I was referred to Urban Hound by my neighbors, and I still was skeptical - but, I gave it a shot. Layla’s groomer’s name at Urban Hound is Angela. All I have to say, pure perfection, my dog looks like a teddy bear after every cut and we are booked for 12 months in advance. Excellent service and communication with the groomer is simple and transparent. Just like you don’t change your favorite hairdresser, you don’t change your dog’s groomer ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thank you. Anna
Alexandra S: Brought my French Bulldog in today for a grooming appointment and was very disappointed. We had used Urban Hound based on a recommendation and were very happy with our first appointment but this one was a bust. I tried calling to express my disappointment and the man who answered, I think his name was Alan, was very rude. I would have gone back to them again if I wasn't met with his hostility on the phone. My concern was that he had poop on his butt when we got him back which they denied. The photo down below shows the remnants left behind from his butt on the car ride home. His nails were not cut properly as seen in the photo. And third, the most important part of taking a Frenchie is the ear cleaning and as you can see from the photo this was not properly done either. There is even more deeper in the ear canal but you cannot see it in the photo. To their credit, they said we could bring him back for another cleaning which I appreciate. But it was the attitude on the phone that will make me never want to bring my puppy back there again.
Taylor Worthy: Great groomers for my goldendoodle! Love the customer experience with online booking, and text communication. My dog always is excited to go and leaves happy.
James D'Ambrosio: Friendly service
Michelle Ai: Always so great with my pet. They keep the place clean, and charge a reasonable amount for daycare. Their grooming service in the south end is also very good. The st Francis downtown location includes walks in the common.
Michael Katz: If you live in the South End, there aren't too many options within walking distance for dog grooming and day care, but that's just fine, because Urban Hound is a quality spot! Their dog groomers, Vicki is amazing, are fantastic and care about how your dog looks. Their day care is great and offers some indoor and outdoor fun to keep your child happy and active. The people at the front desk are great and if you've never been before, stop by and ask for a tour and they are more than happy to show you around and give you the personal tour. Be warned that they are very finicky about your dogs health and will make sure they have all their shots and inspections. Before you drop your child off for daycare, contact them and get a list of what's needed and visit your vet. I'm grateful to have Urban Hound close by and it's nice to know your fur baby is in good hands.
Bob: Clean and caring
Dominik Altheimer: Our pup can't get enough
James Carrico: BAD BOARDING EXPERIENCE. We left our greyhound here for a long weekend (four nights). When we returned, he had a two inch gash in his left knee, a bleeding toe, and sore paws. UH did not say ANYTHING when we picked him up (we did not notice until we walked him home). Have called UH for three days in a row trying to get an explanation, and they have yet to pick up the phone so I am not sure if they were oblivious to the whole thing or if they were hoping we wouldn't notice (as if). I don't know what else to say but we will never go near this place again.
Stanley Taylor: I've used The Urban Guys for many years. Each and every time the care they provide my dog is excellent.
James Faucher: I have had my dog groomed at Urban Hound several times. Yesterday I need to have him stay there for the day. I was assured he would be in an area with similar size dogs. Mac is a 20 Lakeland Terrier. He ha stayed at many other day cares and has always had a great time.Apparently, when my husband picked him up he was told by some young lady," Mac almost failed day care." She said, "He sat in a corner and shivered all day."I spoke to someone when I got home and was told there was a person in the room with the dogs and that the other dogs had been coming a long time. I have a real sense that who ever was in the room with the dog Was just sitting on his phone.Mac is a sweet friendly dog. He is great with people and other dogs. If this moron who was in the room made an effort to engage him, he might have had a better day.I would never send any of my dogs there again. I would never recommend it to any of the dog owners on Beacon Hill.

Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa Boston: what do users think?
Airika Laguerre: Great facility! The grooming Presley was very kind and did an amazing job and was so patient with my senior dog. Thank you so much!
Malikiya Hinds: I just called to make a grooming appointment, and the person on the phone was so rude and didn’t seem interested in answering any of the most basic questions. I was simply calling to find out how to set up an appointment, the cost of a typical groom, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. There are better ways to talk to people rather than attempting to run them off the phone, throwing them on hold of no warning etc for asking simple questions about a business they’re trying to be a patron that. Please do better.
Lauren Ness: My dog has been coming here since she was 6 months and absolutely loves it. There are a lot of options for boarding with many add-on services you can select such as extra playtime. My dog does come home a little stinky so I would recommend booking a bath the day you are scheduled to pick them up.
Catherine Nead: My mini labradoodle got groomed by Sara and she did a great job. He came back so cute!
Mitch Saso: A+They were polite my dog enjoyed the stay.
Casey Pons: Terrific staff who love dogs, personable and flexible and welcoming every visit.
Mike Rubino: Best groomer in Boston! Presley is the Bernedoodle expert. I know we all say we have the cutest pup, but there is truly no better groomer in the city for your doodle.
Juliet Bentley: We always use Red Dog to board our dog when on vacation. They take great care of him, have a great facility and have lots of add-ons to make sure our dog is busy and happy. Our dog can't do daycare during day, but the extra play, walks etc. offered ensure he still has a fun time while there. We've use them last two years for week-long stay and experience was great both times.
Noelle Kellogg: Responsive and helpful team that took good care of our dog for 5 days. Pickup and drop off was seamless, and I loved the doggie report card at the end. Thank you!
Nicole Burke: Great customer service for my kid cat.
Gabrielle Bonewitz: Presley has been my groomer for years 😊! I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. 💕
Janic3ros3: Presley does an absolutely Amazing job with my babies! She's sent me videos and pictures of both my dogs while grooming and bathing and they are always so happy! As soon as we walk in the door the dogs are yanking away from me to get to the entire staff. Even after 7 months in Florida all I have to say is her name and they are at the door ready to go!
The Doods: The entire team at red dog has been nothing short of amazing. The receptionists greet me and my dog with warmth each time we come in. The employees love on my dog and make him feel at home when he stays. The groomers have taken excellent care of my boy and he comes home smelling great and looking fabulous.
Joseph Eisner: We've used Red Dog since the first time needing to board our dog. We love being able to book him play sessions, and it's clear he does too - Every time we pick him up he excitedly says goodbye to all the staff before sleeping for 2 days at home.
Chyna Gouveia: Amazing place! Presley was the best and made my pup so comfortable.
LaTanya Renée: I had the worst experience with other grooming establishments and stumbled upon Red Dog. They by far exceed my expectations each time my dog goes for a grooming. They are prompt and quick. I feel less overwhelmed with my dog getting serviced in 2 hours vs 8 hrs. I highly suggest them and look forward to trying their doggy daycare soon. Also from what I've seen the staff is very pleasant and you can see they genuinely care about pets. That's a huge plus for me as a dog mom.
Christine Hanko: Red Dog is my pup's home away from home. She shows up every time tail wagging, and ready to see all of her staff and resident friends. She doesn't even look back going into daycare, and at pick up she is always happy and exhausted from being active all day. We use both the daycare, and lodging, and I've always had a wonderful experience with the staff. They are engaged, remember me and my dog, and always share details with me about her stay. I consider myself very lucky to have the Red Dog family as a part of my and my pet's community. 5/5 stars would recommend to a friend.
J Ellen Pace: Brady - our 3 year old mini poodle - looked and smelled terrific after a full grooming session with Sara. We’ve had trouble finding a groomer where he didn’t emerge from the appointment completely freaked out but today, Brady seemed much calmer when we picked him up. Have already made our next appointment! ☺️
Paige Robison: Highly recommend. My dog loves going to daycare here and always comes home tired!
Sophia Thoyo: Amazing Jarred, Janet and Danny were amazing. My flight was delayed and there were able to accommodate and allowed me to pick up Nature and Capri once I landed. I will recommend this Pet Hotel to friends and family and will also being using your services in the future. Thank you for all your help.
Meaghan Agnew: The staff is absolutely fantastic with my beagle and treats her as if she were their own pet. Winnie absolutely loves day care!

Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa at North Station: what do users think?
Maria Renda: I was extremely happy with my dogs grooming experience. I have always done it myself because my dog has attachment issues and he is very big.He felt totally comfortable with the groomer and he came out looking like a star!!!!!
Alan D Koahou: I was scheduled for an evaluation for my dog and i assumed that is was in Saugus since this is where my original schedule was booked. They were kind enough to reschedule my appt since i was going to be out of town. They forgot to mention that my new appt was in Canal St. Boston. When i got there i was greeted by Charles who took care of me and was very understanding of my situation. I appreciate his understanding and demeanor.
Michele Cleasby: Isla loves going here, and they are wonderful with sending updates pictures and videos! Red Dog has been very accommodating, and all of the staff are so nice!
Bradley Samuels: Kai my wooly husky came back looking like a movie star!!! He does NOT like being groomed and I had a pretty high anxiety during the session. I am happy to say I will be returning- Anxiety free.
Ashley Butterworth: Everyone on the staff is so friendly and loves dogs. I feel so comfortable leaving my dog here and know he will be taken care of. He whines with excitement when he knows he is going to daycare and cannot wait to be there, makes it much easier to leave him. He loves it!!
Lisa Bradley: So patient with my very anxious pup! Thank you Shannon and team.
Luis Millan-Barea: Staff is very friendly and professional. Shannon did an excellent job at grooming our puppy during her first visit.
Abby Peterson: The Red Dog North Station team is fantastic - they're super friendly and helpful and love all the pups. It's easy to make reservations and they even drop off to my condo on nights I have to work late.
Laura Kennedy: my dog loves going here to get groomed and they take great care of her. the cuts are always perfect. been a repeat customer since I got my dog 7 months ago! she loves them.
Zanna Huth: Jojo looked so handsome after his groom ! The only reason for not 5 stars is that he ended up being at the groomers a lot longer than anticipated. Apart from that I am really happy with the service and Jojo seemed very happy when I picked him up.
Niki Blaker: This review is specifically for grooming services. We've been taking our pomeranian for grooming for about a year now and are really happy with the results every time!Everyone is friendly and the groomer always does a nice job of listening to what we would like.Happy to have such a great grooming option near by.
Connor Weldon: My 6 month old pup(German shepherd) is now fully aware that a ride on the orange line means daycare. He has such a good time at RD that he will now attempt to head up the stairs anytime we pass the station. Staff is knowledgeable and definitely care about all the pups in the building. I wish there was a way to see your pup on camera during the day, but the staff has been open to taking pictures of my dog to send throughout the day. Would recommend for all ages and size.
Carolina Restrepo: Poor costumer service
Bruce Scheer: I really appreciated the service, including how they knew by little doggy by name even though I was just in town for 3 days (and not because she was misbehaving:)). Great place and staff.
Susan Rocca: Both my dogs got great hair cuts!
juin z: The staff at the North Station was responsive and provided me clear insights re my dog and how he responded to daycare
Jenny Koehl: Charlie absolutely loves going to Red Dog!! The staff is so friendly and accommodating and clearly love all of the dogs. I am very very lucky to have this so close to my apartment.
Norma Egan: My dog had fun on her first day and came home exhausted.I am looking forward to her making lots of friends
William Trepagnier: Our dog had a great experience and is exhausted after his daycare
Danny Ostrowski: Reasonably priced and quality grooming by Shannon.
Alex Cruz: Staff are super nice and they explained how the DayCare/Evaluation works and answered all my questions :)Super recommended!!

Harbor Hounds: what do users think?
Kelly Hopley Weis: The Harbor Hounds crew takes amazing care of our puppy; such great care that we can’t even say the words “day care” at home because she gets so excited to go! We often times joke about her being “daycare wasted” because she has so much fun that she comes home exhausted!Hands down the best money we spend each week - even better knowing we are supporting a kickass Woman owned business!Sara and her team care so much about each dog and the love they have for our pets is palpable. Thanks for everything you do for us, Harbor Hounds team!
Merisa Ajazi: Sara and crew are absolutely amazing, and my pup loves going to daycare every week! Just the word daycare gets her excited, because she knows she gets to hang with all her friends. HH always posts updates on their social media throughout the day and it's not only nice to get the update, but I love seeing all the enrichment activities going on. Their outdoor space is great (especially in the summer) and you just can't find another facility like this in the city. 10/10 recommend!!
Emily Williams: Izzy looks forward to her weekly visits! I love having such a professional and personalized daycare for my little lady! Every employee is amazing and really cares about your pup!
Jessica Corr: We are lucky to have found a spot at Harbor Hounds for the last 2 years. Sara and the team are amazing with the dogs and post great video content throughout the day. Having adopted a rescue during Covid that had some socialization issues, going to Harbor Hounds has really helped him. We also recommend their grooming services. Sara and the team are fun but also patient and we are so fortunate! Highly recommend ! 🤗🐕
Juan Gabarro: This is a great doggy daycare. There's no better endorsement than how eager my dog is to run into Harbor Hounds when I drop him off in the morning. And my Shiba is a rescue (we're his fourth family), wary of strangers, skittish and an escape artist so it says a lot to me that he feels safe and comfortable at Harbor Hounds. Before accepting a dog, they make sure all the dogs get along which is fantastic from my perspective. I think they have the luxury of doing that because there has historically been quite a long wait list. My dog has benefited noticeably from the socialization with dogs and people. Oh, and the hours at HH are great!
Chantelle Persac: Sara and her team are BY FAR the best in the business. They treat my pup, and each pup, as if they were their own. They are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable....and FUN! My dog runs to the front door of Harborhounds each morning, that is proof enough that he loves being there!!!
Hayley Richards: A lot of people got dogs during COVID so I feel that it’s important to shine a light on some of the best dog daycare places in Boston. The owner of Harbor Hounds, Sara, and her team are AMAZING. They are all incredibly knowledgeable, reliable and trustworthy. They truly love our dogs and care for them as if they are their own. Our dogs are always so happy to go and come home in the best moods. These photos are from when they were both boarded with Sara (who watches them personally - which is amazing) and they were SO happy. I’m not sure who had a better vacation, us or the dogs 😂.That said, whenever we send our dogs to either daycare or boarding, we have full confidence and literally never worry. I can’t say enough good things about and we are so happy to be a part of the HH family.
Deanna Reiss: We've been sending our pup here for the last month or so after his previous daycare closed unexpectedly. To say he loves it is an understatement! He is so excited to go in and is exhausted when he gets home (we get two days of peace because day after daycare he enjoys sleeping off his daycare hangover as well). He's made so many positive associations and friends through daycare; when we walk him he now runs up happily to dogs we've never seen before and are never surprised to hear that the dog is also a harbor hound! They do a great job keeping us updated through social media (Instagram stories) so I'm always confident he is safe, happy and having a blast. They also gave him a bath once and my goodness he smelled phenomenal for about 2 weeks!Cannot recommend Sara and her crew enough!
Mackenzie McNeill: We began bringing our newly rescued, very social dog to Harbor Hounds about 6 months ago. We cannot believe how lucky we are to have Sara and her business in our life! All employees truly care about your dog, post regular updates on social media of your pup, and are extremely responsive and accommodating. I cannot imagine bringing our pup anywhere else
Andre daSilva: Great place inside and out with friendly staff
kevin wilson: Some of the nicest people you will ever meet
Henry Lopez: I personally know the owner, and she's very goo in taking care of your pet.
Mary Jane Skidds: So passionate about dogs and great people!!!
Anne Jensen: Sara and her team are absolutely the BEST!!!!! I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving my frenchie, Flash, anywhere else. Unlike some other daycares, Harbor Hounds provide so much structure. Since going to Harbor Hounds, Flash’s training has improved tremendously. Flash goes sprinting into Harbor Hounds and I actually have to drag or carry him out at the end of the day. We love Harbor Hounds!!!
Bri Cummiskey: Our dog Sailor has been coming here since she was only a few weeks old. She is now a year and a half and we are still just as in love with this place. All the girls that work here genuinely love dogs and it shows. My dog has recently been difficult on leash and they 100% make her personality work with other dogs. Sailor has also made TONS of friends and is absolutely pooped when she gets home (which we love ). Even if we leave east Boston we will probably make the trip up to bring her, since it's so hard to find a place this trust worthy. 10/10 for Sara and her doggy loving gang!
Nicole Clement: Sara and the team at Harbor Hounds are no less than amazing! I know when I drop my dog Lily off that she is going to have fun, get her energy out playing with her friends, and be safe and cared for all day. They take great care of our dogs and I wouldn't trust Lily any where else. The team creates a real connection with the dogs, and I know when I drop Lily off, she can't wait to get inside and greet her human friends! This place is the best!!
Ngoc Giang: Wow i can’t believe the fake negative reviews that was posted here. What grade are we in? If you want a loving and safe place, than you bring your dog to Harbor Hounds where Sara, Brianna and the rest of crew will love and take care of your dog like if it was their own dog. My wife and I have brought our pup Milo to HH since he was 4 months old and he still gets excited every morning we drop him off.
Debbie Shufro: Best place in Eastie to bring your pup! Everyone is so friendly and they take amazing care of your dog. Briana is amazing with grooming and I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs there! Would recommend to anyone who needs a good groomer and/or doggie day care!
Fatima Guevara: Sara and her team are legit godsent! My dog Arthur has a lot of anxiety and they make him feel like he is at home. I never have to worry about him and his anxiety when he is at harbor hounds! They have Halloween parties, pictures with Santa etc - they really go that extra mile for our babies! If you are looking for a place to take care of your dogs while you are working HARBOR HOUNDS is the way to go! 😊
Kerry M.: Sara and the crew at Harbor Hounds are AMAZING! We recently rescued a dog from a shelter and were somewhat unsure of his past/experience with other dogs and if daycare in general would be a good fit for him. Sara took so much time out of her day to meet with us and see if Bailey would enjoy the day care. She even had him stop by for a half day to get him acclimated and ease him in/see how if he enjoyed it. She kept us updated the whole time on Bailey and put us at so much ease leaving him. He now goes weekly and he LOVES day care so much. I have never seen him so happy upon drop off (and tired upon pick up!) I can't thank them enough for taking the time to get to know him and make sure he was a good fit and for keeping us updated/at ease at all times. HH was by far the best thing we have done for Bailey and we are so grateful for Sara!
Dina Dimazo: Great groomer! Little tough to find but it's a gem when u do. Brianna did a fabulous job on my yorkie mix. Definitely make an appointment. U wont be disappointed.

Lady and the Leash: what do users think?
Alexia A.D: We have brought our Shiba Inu to Lady and the Leash in the past and Diana was so great to work with. Since then, we have moved out of MA but Diana is still there when we need her, even if it is virtually or on a Saturday! She is very helpful with providing tips and ways that we can still help our Shiba with socialization. Very grateful for her flexibility and help!
Elizabeth Evans: I brought my dog Baxter here for the first time today for grooming. He is a 9yr old very difficult Lhasa Poo . I couldn’t be happier with result . His cut was exactly what I wanted and he needed . I dropped him at 11 and only took a few hours until I got a text that he was ready . He came outside and I was so pleased at how good he looked. In the past groomers have just shaved him down bc of matting, but this cut was perfect . Very very happy and will be returning .
Marissa Sterzick: I was a bit neverous taking my cat to Diana as I didn't see any cat reviews or photos, but she did a phenomenal job! Even when my Tortie started to show her attitude when the blow dry cane on, Diana handled it and was still able to groom and dry her
Shanique Lewis: If you are looking for a well rounded groomer in Boston, this is the place to go. Not only is the communication amazing, they kept me posted along the way. Papa was cut exactly to my expectations. Thanks again to Alex and Diana, see you guys soon ! Just look at his smile 😀
Siara Morel: Took my sweet boy Noah, a two year old Mini golden-doodle for a full groom Saturday at Noon. I was very nervous about bringing my dog to a groomer as he had a horrible experience in the past that almost landed him in the emergency room. Diana treated my boy with patience, kindness, and was so gentle with him!!! He gets really nervous during grooming and she made sure to go extra slow with him and was very cautious. She sent me pictures, videos, and updates which made me feel so reassured. Noah needed a lot of TLC as he needed his entire body to look even, his ears cleaned, nails cut, and a bath. He came out of there looking better than any job I’ve done with grooming him myself. I met Diana and she was super sweet. You can tell she really cares for any dog that goes in as if it were her own!! She definitely restored my faith in groomers and small businesses! I will be bringing Noah back and recommend Diana wholeheartedly.
Jay Jude: I highly recommend this groomer. Gloria took good care of Otto!!
christina maher: My 1 year old Boxer Blue has been going to daycare at Lady and the Leash for about a month now and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES it! Blue was also able to get his nails trimmed there as they offer grooming services too. Diana and her staff are so friendly, helpful and attentive to the pups! If I could give 10 stars I would! I Highly recommend Lady and the Leash!
Sarah Herrick: Choosing Lady and the Leash for daycare for our Frenchie was the best choice we’ve ever made! Diana and her team are attentive, kind, flexible, and so passionate about animals. Our dog loves playing with his friends and getting fresh air while we’re at work. I cannot speak highly enough of this daycare and the team and we feel very fortunate to support them!
Frances Ahearn: Diana and her whole team are incredible! I called Diana at the last minute for a boarding emergency. Not only did she accommodate for boarding, she rearranged her schedule to pick up my dog! I always know that my puppy is cared for and loved. So grateful for Lady and the Leash!
Kellie Thy: Highly recommend Lady and the Leash! Diana and her staff are great, this was my first time using a boarding facility for my puppy Luna and I was very nervous about leaving her for a few day, but I knew she would be in great hands after hearing amazing things from a friend who referred Lady and the Leash to me! Diana sent daily updates on how Luna was doing and pics/videos which helped ease the nerves! Diana is very flexible with drop off and pick up, application process is simple and straight forward! We will definitely be using this business again and can’t thank the Lady and the Leash’s team for taking such good care of my girl!
jazmine feliciano: This was my puppy & mine first time going to lady and the leash for grooming. I was a little bit nervous since he went to get groomed from else where before & supposedly they couldn’t “handle” him. My dog is naturally a little bit anxious so dropping him off i was nervous but mitchell definitely made me feel super comfortable with leaving my pup there! This is the results after picking him up He was so excited & so was I !!!! I can’t thank you guys enough! Mateo & me will be back SOON
Cara Hendricks: I really appreciate finding a reliable, friendly and professional service for my Cane Corso. Even though my dog probably weights more than the walkers, they treat my dog like the 145lb baby he is!
Jillian Pellegrini: Diana and her team at Lady and the Leash took great care of my dog for 5 days over the new year's holiday. It was his first time staying with anyone besides my family, so I was a little anxious, but everything was great. I got regular updates with pictures throughout his stay and they were so responsive whenever I reached out. We also took advantage of the grooming services and he got a bath so came home smelling and looking so fresh and clean! We will definitely be back.
Nicole Frederick: I can not say enough good things about Diana at Lady and the Leash! I was in a bind over the Thanksgiving holiday where I needed a last minute sitter for my cat while I was out of town. My cat recently had surgery (and a subsequent infection) and needed two different medications administered twice a day. Diana was beyond accommodating in adding my cat last minute to her schedule and gave me such peace of mind while I was away that my cat was in great hands! She provided pictures and updates after each visit and took such great care of my little guy. I would recommend Diana in a heartbeat and am so grateful that I found her!
Christine Willis: Very accommodating in trying to schedule the appointment. My cat looked good, no more skunk smell, they tolerated his incessant meowing, sent me a picture him being washed, and put a cute bandana on him that matched his tuxedo colored fur!
Savannah Richards: Today my pup had the pleasure of being groomed at lady and the lash. I am very pleased with the results. They were kind, they asked what my preferences were and took time to explain certain procedures before proceeding.I definitely look forward with continuing working with groomer I can finally trust to get make my fur baby grooming process comfortable,my baby came home extremely happy thank you guys again😊.
Elizabeth Nihill: Our dog, Archie, absolutely loves Lady & The Leash (and all of Diana’s staff)! He comes here for both daycare and grooming. He came home from his very first grooming session today looking extra handsome and smelling amazing. He is an anxious dog at baseline, so I was a bit leery of a grooming session - but Diana and her staff know exactly how to handle Archie. I’d recommend Diana and her crew for any of your pet’s needs!
BGMK: Brought my cat in for a flea and tick bath today. I explained that I was concerned about my cat's health as he has been peeing and scratching himself uncontrollably lately. Shortly after dropping him off, the groomer, Diana, gave me a call about what she expected were the issues and recommended what actions I could take after the grooming. She spent less than 15 minutes with my cat and could tell me more than my vet did after an hour.Once I picked him up, my cat was calm and looked so relieved. He is not the type to relax around new people so I knew he was in good hands. Diana explained the next steps for the flea tick situation and what to ask for the next time I go to a vet, which luckily she was one.I am beyond happy with my service because she not only performed the grooming but showed her genuine care for my cat's well-being which put me at ease. I told her that this experience restored my faith in small businesses. I am definitely bringing him back for a follow-up grooming.
sherril smith: Great place. The best you could ever find around town..
Mitchell Izower, MD, MBI: We had a great time using this service. They were reasonably priced and were very accommodating to our schedule. We would definitely use their services again.
Susan Monahan: After numerous attempts at other groomers my highly anxious Springer Spaniel met her soulmate in Diana and her team. I can’t tell you what a blessing it has been that fate brought us together. Diana’s devotion to the comfort and care of her animals puts any anxious dog parent at ease. Diana and her team have a customer for life. We can’t express how grateful we are to have found The Lady and the Leash.

Tails Boston: what do users think?
Eric Hansen: My doodle likes this place, they're nice to him and he looks his best at pickup time. Staff are helpful!
Terry Gray: First time there and.they.did.a great job on my Pup. My pup is 10 months.
sommer jolie: Earlier this month I took my baby to Tails to get a groom for the first time in a while. We were a recurring customer and my family’s other dogs go there as well. My dog loves people, she’s very loving and yet whenever we walked into tails she starts crying and whimpering and pulls in the leash for me to take her out of there, I assumed she was just nervous and honestly being a tad bit dramatic. She was there for 3 hours which I found kind of weird but they told me it was because she was matted around the legs, fully understandable and definitely on me because I hadn’t gotten her groomed since November. She looked and smelled beautiful! Was very happy with the results. The next day however she was a different dog completely, she couldnt walk without a hunchback, she wouldn’t come when I called her name. Over the course of the day she was sleeping and I assumed she was just sore from the groom, she’s 10 years old and my friend had said that the same thing happened to her old dog so I wasn’t too worried, I gave her time to rest and eventually she was seemingly better before I had left for a vacation and had my closest dog parent roomates/friends watch her and she was very depressed, sleeping all day but still doing her daily needs (also not a concern as she is very attached to me). I came back and was hoping she would return to her normal self and she never did, still very shaky and whimpering when picked up and walking very hunched over and in pain. I immediately took her to the MSPCA angel memorial and had her looked at and had told the vet what happened, and they told me she had slipped spinal disk in her back, or an extremely swollen and inflamed back muscle (either way, something was terribly wrong with her back). The vet was pretty sure there was a correlation there (but correlation doesn’t equal causation), that the groom visit that it was consistent with rough and harsh handling and only occurred right after her visit. I was so shocked and felt terrible for putting her through that, and that Tails had abused and traumatized her to the point she needs pain meds to get through the day without whimpering. All in all, I’m extremely disappointed with Tails and regret ever going to their business. I would never take my dog back to this place and despise the fact I ever did. I called and left a message with the receptionist and she acted like it was nothing to be concerned about, as if it wasn’t a new thing. Please think about and research where you take your babies.
Amar Kelkar: Our first experience was concerning based on how the groomer acted - didn’t acknowledge or comfort our dog who was visibly uncomfortable and nervous, abrasive, and unwilling to answer/impatient with our questions - but we were convinced to return with a different groomer (Gaby) who has been absolutely wonderful with our pup! She’s excited to go for each groom (which is new). Gaby seems to anticipate the little things - e.g. she shut off the fans when our dog goes into the grooming room or is alone in there because they make her nervous. The grooms have come out very cute as well! They’ve also accommodated our requests for length of fur.Based on the much improved experience, we’re considering trying out the daycare as well!
Noopur Ghade: I scheduled a full groom for my golden doodle and asked if it was possible that she not be crated, as that is our preference, and was told it wouldn’t be an issue. The morning of the appointment, we changed the time to arrive at the groomer’s request, but when we arrived to drop off our pup, the groomer, without greeting us, immediately expressed frustration that she could not put Maple in a crate, as she still needed another 30 minutes with a different dog. Since Maple was very nervous, I asked the groomer if she could please say “hi” to Maple, and her response was, “I’ve been doing this for 5 years,” and ignored my request.I then asked to see where Maple would be waiting. She agreed reluctantly. When we entered the room, it was a total mess with many dogs in crates. There was also a small dog off leash who she grabbed by the fur (not the scruff) on his neck and the pup squealed and yelped and she did not let go. She then took Maple by her leash and was pulling her into the room while Maple was trying to pull away, clearly anxious and scared. Instead of being reassuring or encouraging to Maple, she didn’t speak to her and kept pulling. I was very alarmed by all this and left with my baby. Needless to say we will not be returning. After seeing the owner's response below, we really appreciated their honesty and transparency and returned to see if we would have a better experience with their other groomer. We had a drastically better experience, and Maple seemed very comfortable and happy there. Because of this, we changed our review from 1 star to 4 stars. Thank you very much!
Caitlin Stauder: Excellent customer service on top of excellent care for my dog!
Jemi Luna: Good care for dogs
Patrick Sosnay: We have taken our dog to Tails for 5 years, both for daycare and occasional boarding. Tails is absolutely outstanding. The employees genuinely care about each of the pups. Many of the same people have worked there the entire time we’ve be taking our pup there. They know his name, his goofy habits (he only likes the the soft treats, wants no part of the pool they set up on warmer days, and is cautious around strangers). There’s no cc TV, but the instagram updates are great. This is a business owned and run by people that love dogs. Just so this doesn’t get flagged as a bot, my only slight complaint is wishing they were open later. However, I wouldn’t trade more hours with any compromise in the extremely qualified and caring people they have working there.
Donna Dee: Thank you, Tails, for successfully clipping our cat's claws! We know that she isn't the easiest client to work with and we very much appreciate your skill and dedication.
Anna Cassell: My dog loves it here and we love bringing our dog here.
Nadine Schwab: It is well known in the neighborhood that this place mistreats the animals it cares for. It is not a good situation and I have heard that others have witnessed staff members hitting dogs. Be careful if you decide to board your dog here.
pablo nunez: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueThis isn't my grooming place since I'm from out of town. But Luna need some grooming i looked on-line and found Tails. They were able to get me in quickly and Gaby did a great job on Luna. She did exactly what i ask for very pleased with the service. Will be using them again.
Claudia Gaitan: They did an amazing job with grooming my golden doodle Benito! Can’t wait to bring him here for day care
Jr Donahue: They have the best staff and the dogs are first priority!
Jeff Saint-Saens: Love this place
David: Professional and courteous cat sitters.
Carla Rodriguez: Staff is very disorganized, the dont clarify that the service you will get is only bath not haircut . The person in the front desk didn't even know what type of service my dog supposed to have. The owner offered me to pay the uber charges as I spent more than 40$ for a service that was not what I asked. Never got them ... very disorganized , a dissapointment
Cedric Jacobson: They take amazing care of our dog. Tails is very easy to book, and offers reasonable drop-off and pickup times for someone with an 8-5 job.
Carolynn Taddei: I have been bringing my 55-lb dog to Tails since 2015 when she was a puppy. I have since moved out of Boston and still drive 45+ minutes (often out of my way) to board her at Tails when needed. Yessy and her staff were an amazing resource for me when I first got her as a puppy (day-care a few times a week and boarding as needed) and have helped me address and manage behavioral issues, all while loving her as much as I do. She has always been nervous with men and I have witnessed multiple male staff members “win her over”, one who even spent extra time with her every visit until she trusted him. I have boarded my dog at other facilities, in which she showed extreme anxiety to the extent of having accidents in her crate (which has never happened with me). She would refuse to leave the car and shake when I tried to bring her to these facilities. On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, she DRAGS me into Tails and “thanks me” every time I drop her off. It is the one place I can truly have “peace of mind” when I leave her and not experience any guilt as I know she is loving every minute. She comes home happy and exhausted every time! The Tails family is a wonderful group of people who I will always be grateful for and will continue to entrust with my most valuable possession- my dog!
Vanthry Diaz: Excelente servicio al cliente, el mejor dog daycare del area sin Duda alguna. ♥️
Bobby and Caitlin Picco: Tails is great with our two pups in doggy daycare (both with very different energy levels)! The staff are always kind, friendly and welcoming. They've taken wonderful care of our dogs and we know they're always in great hands with the Tails team. Thank you, Tails!

Elliot's House Pet Care & More: what do users think?
Mackenzie Halter: Would give this place a 0/10 if that was an option - there are so many other doggie daycares in the area, so I highly recommend you check them out before coming here. My pup was never excited to go here, which should have been a red flag. They put him in the little dog area rather than the big dog area (he’s 45lb so def not a small dog), never sent photos, we weren’t allowed to see the play area, and the “daily report cards” were pretty much BS. Oh, and they closed suddenly, told us they would reimburse us for the remainder of the package that we bought (we used 6 of the 30 day passes), and then never responded to any emails.*update based on owner's feedback* - Yes this place is closed, which I clearly indicated in my review :). Just wanted to make sure everyone knew that this place was bad before it closed and the closing process was also terrible!
Christopher Sand: Incompetent. Previously, they admitted that they didn’t wash him with soap, nor cut his hair. We only went back when they said they had a new groomer - this time he came back looking like he had been abused. Body was shaved down (super low) and he is ragged. Poor dog…. Absolutely awful - be warnedIn response to the owner: My wife and I have different last names… And looks like the city of Somerville has shut you down for failing several inspections (sounds like animal abuse). Guess my initial review was far closer to the truth than you'd like to admit...
Jeff Sanderson: I reached out to Somerville because it seemed so strange that Elliot's House would shut their doors out of nowhere. I've really enjoyed my experience with the daycare the past couple of months. The city informed me that Elliot's house has been doing boarding without a license for over two years and has exceed the daycare occupancy by 40+ dogs during the three visits from the Somerville inspectors. During the three visits, Elliot's House had 70+ dogs onsite when they are only licensed to have 20. All while they only had two employees working. The inspectors also noted that many dogs were being crated for long periods of time with no water in crates not adequate for their size. They also note that multiple dogs were fighting and covered in urine/feces.Reach out to the city and they will tell you the same thing. The owner should never be allowed to operate a business again.
Judith Pickerill: Very thoughtful handling of a first pro shampoo for our 4 month old labradoodle Shadow. She is beautiful!
Marisa Bowersox: I’m slightly annoyed-I was looking for an in home sitter for my dog and called Elliot’s house. They said that I need to bring my dog for a temperament test/ fine no problem. Then after all that they tell me they don’t have availability to provide a sitter. Is that not something they could have told me before? What a waste of $35.
Mary Marsden: We have a very high energy 2 year old lab who just loves it at Elliot House. She has been going there since she was 6 months old. The staff is excellent! They are always happy to see everyone at drop off and pick up. You get a report card to let you know how the day went and the names of the other dogs they played with. They also keep us informed if she didn’t feel well during the day. They take great care of her and I know she is safe and in good hands and always having a great day with her friends
Sarah K: They did a fabulous job and I'm very grateful.
Melissa Clark: Elliot's house is our absolute favorite place. We're moving further away and the hardest part of the process was leaving them! They are attentive, thoughtful, and are quick to respond and communicate! They know our pup well and make her (and us!) feel so welcome. It's worth the hour drive for party days and boarding 100%Thank you for everything you've done and we can't wait until you expand :)
Dokyun Kim: Positive:Quality,Reliability
Pablo Trigo Mouriño: I can't in all honestly recommend this service. They seem to be quite unreliable especially for boarding. I left my dog with them for a week and looking at the food that was left after picking him up they mostly didn't feed him or he didn't eat but they couldn't be bothered to contact me.Their report cards are also just for show, mine at least had no photos or information.I'd like to add that after using several dog sitting and boarding services in different cities this is the only facility where if you enter you are confronted by an overpowering stench.
Jocelyn Eve: responsive and attentive customer service. our 7m berneedoodle looked wonderful. there was matting under her ears that I wondered why they weren't attended to or communicated to us about, but next time I will be sure to bring it up.
Radhika Rana: My little guy has been to this establishment a few times, our last experience has been the worst. He stayed there for a weekend and came home with a bloody injury under his eve. When I askedthem if they can provide any insight on what happened, they mentioned he was playing rough and was relaxing by himself- my dog doesn't relax by himself when he's around other dogs, he'splayful and his RELIABLE dog sitter calls him the life of the party. They did however confirm they saw blood on the floor but just assumed it was from another dog's urine- WHAT! As a dog ownerwe all know when there's blood in a dog's urine it is watery, it doesn't actually look like blood! My dog had blood under his eye, an open wound and blood residue in his hair. His veterinarianconfirmed it wasn't an injury playing with another dog. If you want to spend over $150 to board your dog for the weekend along with an injury and veterinary bill, this is your spot. I would have been content with a “accidents happen” email rather than their assumptions.
Mariana Rodriguez-Fortier: My Labrador was given the most amazing care. He even got a bit sick and they got his medicines for me. I was super far away! Sunny loves Elliot’s House SO much. What a blessing to always know he will be so happy and well cared for.
Victoria Ma: The staff were very friendly and they did a wonderful for Frankie. Frankie has trachea problems and have really bad cough when he get excited when so I always get worried when send him to the groomer. But the staffs here are so nice and I can tell he was treated with lots of love and patience. Amazing place!!
Melissa Hickey: Love Elliot’s Day Care! My puppy gets so excited when he sees the building and can’t wait to get inside. Hours are great and fees are reasonable. Staff is friendly, professional and caring. Love the instagram posts!
Grace Bugara: I love Elliot‘s house! My dog is super high energy and a couple days here helps tire her out. Would definitely recommend!
Jordan Wood: I recently moved to Union Square and took my dog, Cooper, here since it's right down the street, but now I wouldn't take him anywhere else! He loves it, and is always tuckered out after going to daycare. All of the employees are very nice, and they happily answered all my questions about the way things work. I feel very comfortable with Cooper in their hands. The scheduling system is easy to navigate, and I'm able to book when I need to and in advance.
Kelley J. Moss: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability
Renee McLeod: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueThis was my friendly, but shy puppy’s first experience at doggy daycare. She seemed very happy and I was able to see her on an Instagram playing and looking like she was having a great time. The people working here were friendly, caring and gentle with her. I really appreciate the efficiency of the online system. Can’t wait to come back.

Boston Paws: what do users think?
O M: Call me before you shave my dogs hair off entirely to confirm
Yennifer A: I've been taking my dog for years to this place, so I thought strongly before writing this review but it must said. From the minute, I dropped my dog off, I was concerned. As a loyal customer of YEARS, there was not even so much as a "Hello" given back (on the street since owners can no longer enter the space). I can appreciate that dog owners might be demanding and there needs to be patience given in both directions, but the absence of good customer service entirely felt unacceptable. This was after I had been spoken to sarcastically by the man on the phone, who made inappropriate jokes and could no longer commit to a timeframe that had been previously agreed upon.In any case, this isn't even the main issue. Despite my dog being matted, he was trimmed so short that his pink skin was showing and has been irritated ever since. For more than 3 days, he has been shaking non-stop resulting in a vet visit and needing anxiety medication. Not only was the grooming costly, but it led to unnecessary medical expenses.I have no clue what happened to my dog, but there was clearly abuse at the hands of the groomer and/or other dogs in the room. He has NEVER been this way after a grooming, and now, he can't even hear the sound of keys without shaking compulsively. In addition to waiting for his hair to grow back and his skin to heal, we are concerned about when he will go back to his old self. I will not be returning to this establishment, but do hope, they can reevaluate and go back to the way they used to care for both clients and pets.
Alex Benedict: Efficient and kind. Missed two nails while clipping. A little hard to schedule but they are trying
Winona Glascock: Love this place. Have been using them since September and haven't had 1 issue. They have been incredibly easy to communicate with and accommodating with our puppy. He's always happy to go to day care and comes home happy and sleepy.
jamie cannan: After just one visit the groomer remembered my pups quirks and now that we go frequently, my pup while still nervous is so much calmer being handed over to her.
Robert Barrett: I'm a local to Rozzie and was happy to find such an amazing place with friendly staff to watch over my pooch as I work. So happy to have found a place for my girl Lucy to hang out with furry friends!
Yyyi D: Called to inquire about the place, prices, times, process etc. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude . I had to say”ok sorry for calling “ and hung up. I can’t even get myself to try again in hopes of speaking to someone else. My pup doesn’t deserve to be in a place with someone like him.
Basic Info: Update: as you can see, the owner has responded, and this is why I would never want to give feedback. I appreciate local, family-owned businesses, but it clearly turned into a lecture instead of an invite to communicate via phone or respond to what the concerns are. Again--I ask the owner NOT to respond in the platform, but it's turning into "attack on me" syndrome. Thank you for your support and professional courtesy not responding, and please take this in the spirit of constructive criticism--better yet, simply an area of concentrated improvement (let's take the criticism out to make it more digestible).A Bit More Professional Response from the Owner?I read Robert's review, and I was disheartened at the owner's response. I don't know Robert personally, and if, indeed, that is NOT his name, can you blame him? Look at the unprofessional, curt response of the Boston Paws owner. What happened to "Dear Robert. While we do not have a client on file by that name, we are sorry if this was your actual experience. We pride ourselves in . . . please contact us at so that we can discuss the incident, etc." Sometimes, companies get beyond themselves and become privileged when they get a stream of positive feedbacks, but wait a minute: there is always room to improve.Well, our dog utilized Boston Paws doggie daycare service, and the experience was discouraging to us. While for some it may be good, we did NOT have a good experience. Now, I would request that the owner NOT respond to my review like that; in fact, do not respond at all if it is not going to be professional and respectful. Do not devalue a customer's experience to the point that you can't identify areas of improvement. I would not recommend someone to a place where the owner(s) take feedback or an experience personal to the point where they attack a reviewer publicly. #humblecustomerservice #respectforcustomers #donttakeitpersonal #betterservice #betterresponse
Vaughn Henry: I went to Boston Paws for my dogs 11am nail clipping appointment. While i was sanitizing my hands at the door (there's a sign that says sanitize before touching door knob) a women open the door and said "can i help you?" I say I have an 11 O'clock appointment while sanitizing one hand and holding my Yorkshire terrier in the other hand. She said "We called all our appointments today" Confused I say my dog has an 11 o'clock nail clipping. She says "didn't we leave you a message?" (while looking at me like she didn't want me there anyway because I am the wrong color) Still confused because I never received any call or message I ask a message about what? She pauses and looks at me again and says "Well the groomer is in the hospital" I just walk away because i recognize the look I was getting from her.
Lauren Hasson: Our pup loves going to Boston Paws! She attends daycare and also boarded with them while we went on a week-long trip. Every time we pull up to Boston Paws, she can't wait to get out of the car and in the front door. It's her favorite place and we completely trust Gil, Rachael and everyone else at their facility! If I could give them 6 stars, I would!
pikle boot: I used my credit card and lost all funds in my account, must have been A mgr issue
Carlin Dacey: I had a great experience at Boston Paws! My dog is normally not a fan of nail trimming, and often needs more than one person to get the job done. Ariel (Ari for short) had him in and out in less than ten minutes. She was calm, confident, kind - and did a great job with his nails! Best experience I've ever had with nail trimming, and would highly recommend.
Meg Barhite: Boston Paws is the best! Everyone on staff is incredibly kind and show genuine affection for our pup. They remember him and greet him with hugs and pets no matter how long it's been since our last visit. Boston Paws truly feels like family to us. They do a fantastic job with grooming and their rates are competitive for the area. We are so grateful for Boston Paws, and feel calm and confident leaving our beloved pup with them anytime!
Eric Morgenlender: Boston Paws is the best! Our dog has been going there for doggy daycare and grooming for a few years now, and the experience is always top notch. The moment we pull up to the store front, our dog starts getting super excited and he always sprints to the door once we are out of the car! Additionally, the grooming experience is always top notch, and our pup comes back with an adorable haircut.
Megan Prock McGrath: I cannot say enough good things about Boston Paws! Our dogs have used every service and we have been thoroughly pleased. They are always full of wiggles and happy tails when we drop them off for daycare and boarding and come home zonked from all of their play time with friends. The pup taxi has dropped them at our home (pre-COVID), a feature that saved us more than once when stuck at the office or attending after work events. Ari has groomed our Irish Terrier, which involves the laborious process of hand stripping. He not only looks great, but she goes the extra mile to make sure the process isn't too taxing on the little babe. She is thorough and patient and even adhered to our ridiculous requests to leave his mohawk intact and beard extra long (definitely not the standard cut). Rachel, Gil and team are flexible, kind and trustworthy and we feel so great every time we leave our pups in their care.
Mark Barash: these folks are absolutely spectacular. we are talking dog whispers who truly get our doggies and connect with them, and also have the skill and ability to do whatever grooming you have in mind. our dog is a rescue with serious anxiety issues but who quickly came to love the folks at Boston paws. As do we!
MizukiGPO: Treated my little princess with love and kindness also made her look wonderful
Kate Daher: Hi all, I've thought long and hard about posting this in here but ultimately my heart is saying it's necessary. Especially after speaking with other owners who have had a similar experience. I always condone supporting local business which is what I've always done - but in this case I would proceed with caution. After doing some research on local doggie daycares, I stumbled across Boston Paws. I spoke directly with the owner (prior to dropping my dog off) about what I was seeking and specifically what my dog would need. My dog is older and has a pinned knee so I wanted a place that would separate him with the smaller dogs and monitor him so he didn't become anxious or have a run in with larger more playful dogs. After being assured that this would be the case and he would be completely safe I decided to give them a try. Needless to say, without getting into all the details my dog was NEVER separated and his health and safety were put at risk. My dog could barely walk for three days and was in significant pain - he also came home with a dark marking under his neck...not sure if from another dog biting him or something being put around his neck. I was also overcharged twice with no apology or offer for reimbursement. When I requested to speak with the owner he refused to call me about my concerns. If you are an owner with an older dog please don't let your dog go here! In addition, this place does not limit dogs (unlike Lux Pet Resort which does) and there could be up to 100 dogs in that room at any given time which in my opinion is a safety risk. I felt that this information should be known and I'm happy to go into details if anyone wants to speak offline. From one owner to another please please do your research!
Theresa Gately: Fabulous business and crew, you would think that the staff has known us for years, when it has not even been 2 months. They are super attentive and caring.....
Laurie Long: My dog starts to cry with excitement the minute we turn onto Belgrade Ave and practically pulls my arm out of the socket busting a move into Boston Paws - he loves it! And he comes home totally exhausted - I love that! Rachel and crew are awesome. Worth every penny!
Natanya Auerbach: My dog has been going to Boston Paws for daycare for a couple years and loves it. The staff are really invested in the dogs. The facility is indoor-only (they take the dogs outside on leash for bathroom breaks several times a day), so if your dog gets easily overwhelmed surrounded by lots of other dogs in one space it may not be the best fit.

Elaine Meehan: Amazing! My dog loves Penny as much if not more than me. They carefully choose what dogs go to each play group. Their pick-up and drop-off is flawless. My dog comes back happy and exhausted! Poge has made a best friend at Penny's Pet Care! He loves going.
