Adam is very knowledgeable, knows what he's talking about, got some good deals get good parts you can always find something that you might need you got to be a Traxxas level which I am not but he's got HPI Losi miscellaneous stuff but always a good selection on Wheels with tires and rims so I do like the place and ask a great guy

When i finally got the package, i sent it back to CHARLES RO since i did not want it as i had canceled the order months ago. I didnt even open the box. Then CHARLES RO had the nerve to charge me a 15 percent restocking fee for THEIR mistake. AVOID CHARLES RO, they have the WORST customer service. Period.

Emil Cepeda: Absolutely wonderful experience here! If you are a model railroad enthusiast this is the place to buy your stuff from. I have attached a few pictures of what I purchased but while I was browsing the employees were kind enough to take various things out of the display cases and run them on a small bit of demo track for me as I was looking around. They were all very friendly and answered any questions that I had! The price for the entire set was below what bachmann themselves recommended per the book that they gave to me said which reassured me that I paid a very competitive price for this! Definitely recommend!!

Sheila Wood: I have been wanting to come here for a while, the most enticing thing was the size of the building and the fact that a lot of reviews said it was an awesome selection of all gauges. It wasnt a poor experience, just a disappointing one. When we arrived there were a decent amount of cars in the parking lot, so i was expecting a lot more than what we actually got. It might be the largest train hobby shop building, but that is where the size stops. There is this massive old brick building in fron of you, and it looks nice, i already knew the second floor was for a big layout based on the customer reviews but most said it was closed, so i wasnt going to bother with the second floor. You walk up to the door and are immediately greeted with a long list of instructions, no bags of any kind in the store, any bags must be checked at the counter when you go in and are subject to search, no bathrooms, no strollers, its a rather unfriendly and uninviting sign. I had a backpack bag so i went back and put it in the car, not that big of a deal but still felt like they didnt want anyone in the store. You walk into a foyer, and there are a few glass cases with trains and such, you enter the store through the door on your right. and thats where the big disappointment came. I was expecting a sprawling store with HO on one side, A big lionel section in the middle and the other scales and paints and buildings and scenery, little bags with replacement parts on the other side, all the things you would expect to see in a place that says largest train store. It was nothing like that. the store is only 1/3 of the space inside. The rest is inventory and shipping. The HO section was not very large and had run of the mill engines and rolling stock, if you are like us, we like the hobby shops because you never know what little gem you might find, but the HO stock was very lack luster. The Lionel section seemed small, and there was no N scale section at all, much unlike the reviews that claim they have a huge selectio of ALL gauges. The inside was nice and very clean, but gave off the vibe of more a retail chain store rather than a hobby shop. No one greeted us at all when we walked in or asked us if we needed any help while we were looking. There are more class cases inside along with the other stuff, and the only time an employee talked to us was when we were looking at diecast cars in the glass case by the exit door, and that was just to tell us we could open the case. They have a small section of Thomas the Tank, which seemed really expensive for a kids toy, but I cant judge that because I don't know what the going rate is currently on Thomas and his friends. Unless you like only Lionel, Thomas and run of the mill HO, it's not worth the trip. when we went outside there were more cars in the lot than when we arrived but Im not sure where all the people were because the store was empty besides the 1 person checking out when we first walked in. The hobby shop that we were in right before going to Charles Ro, while building size was quite a bit smaller, they had exactly what you would envision an HO hobby shop would have, they had a massive selection that just blew away the largest in America. The only thing I can say is I feel like most of the reviews, the store website and the size if the building set up the high expectation of my jaw dropping when I walked in the door. Very very disappointed.

They were happy to help with an online order however. I would certainly recommend this shop for those looking an official GW store.

I had called ahead for availability and was assured that a box was set aside for when I came in.When I arrived, the storefront displayed attention to detail even with alterations made to accommodate restrictions due to the pandemic. Only 3 people are allowed in at any time, so 2 customers and a shopkeeper. Zach was very informative, answering questions on the state of the hobby from modeling to game-play. Zach went above and beyond, ensuring that I received a promotional coin when I'd already crossed the street on my way out. I am sure that traffic is down but these days it's revitalizing to be a patron and interact with someone who clearly takes pride in customer service and their business overall.I am very happy to see that Games Workshop is maintaining its retail presence showing an interest in the long-term customer experience and continuing to establish local hobbyist communities. I hope they match this by supporting their talent long term as well.

Loy May: We are a team of MIT students using their products, and still can't get it right. Their products are hard to use. Exactly what Laura wrote below, they blame everything on the customer side, not willing to take in the fact that their products have flaws. They always just try to take as much profit from you as possible at all situations. Bad service and team! However, what else can we do? They seem to be the only option around in USA. So we end up buying from Alibaba, which is a lot more reliable and cheap.

We had a nice chat and and I showed off some of my work. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.I don't know if they thought I was a larger client or what, but the discs will be extremely helpful when I'm looking for new materials for new applications. And hopefully one day soon I'll be that larger client. :)

Laura Winward: Very disappointed in the product and the customer service. I purchased their molding material twice. The first time, I didn't get around to using in within their 6 month shelf life and it went hard. I spoke to a rep and they told me that was the problem. OK, my fault. Didn't know it had a shelf life (not clearly stated anywhere in the product description or information on the website or paperwork). I reordered, used about a third of the product and sealed tightly. I went to use it again about 3-4 months later (within their supposed 6 month self life), and it was hard again. When I contacted customer service, the said that it doesn't store well after opening. No where on the product does it say to use all at once. Over $300 down the drain.

Michael: Hobby Bunker is my favorite gaming store in the Greater Boston area because the staff are so friendly!With outstanding gaming space and a wide selection of historical, fantasy, and science fiction miniatures, Hobby Bunker is the best wargaming location you can find in the area. The store's selection of board games is good, although it lacks many family games. The store also stocks a limited roleplaying game selection (primarily D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Shadowrun), and the latest Magic expansions.Outside of gaming, there's an incredible stock of ship and plane models.Update: Still awesome! Whenever I visit Boston, this is one of the first places I visit and that will never change. Peter Marston Jr: We came to Boston for a getaway weekend and as soon as we arrived at the hotel we realized I forgot the accessory that attaches to our stroller in order to have both our kids ride along in it. We searched online to find a stroller at a bunch of places and no one had any in stock. We found Tadpole on Clarendon street, we called them and they had them in stock. So we went there and bought a new Thule double side by side stroller. The staff put the new one together for us, had a bike pump to pump the tires up and they kept the stroller we had until the end of the day so we didnt have two strollers while we were wandering around Boston with a couple toddlers. They went above and beyond. Would certainly recommend!

Darya Shcherbakova: I love shopping at Tadpole. It’s my favorite children store in the Boston area. Ana, the owner of the shop, is very friendly and was very helpful and knowledgeable when we tried to figure out what preparation we needed to do at home for our first baby. Me and my husband both felt so lost and overwhelmed with the amount of information thrown online at soon to be parents, that it was very refreshing to talk to someone in flesh and wind down all the worries. Ana also explained everything there is to know about choosing safe car seats and addresses our needs. When the car seat was ordered, she kindly helped with the installation and took her time explaining how to use it. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about all their products, they are incredibly thoughtful about the products they bring in. They do a fantastic job putting together gift baskets for baby showers and big birthdays! They are my go to for all things kids! They will not disappoint.

Harrison Bane: The ownership and staff has an incredible commitment to their community, it's actually unbelievable. Today, the owners spent OVER AN HOUR helping my wife install a ridiculously complicated carseat that we DIDN'T EVEN PURCHASE FROM THEM. In the 4 years of shopping with them, they have always maintained this same standard of service, bravo Tadpole!

Murray Smothers: Ohm, I have ALWAYS, ALWAYS loved Kid Robot. It basically embodies some major things I love--good design, quirkiness, and art, in the form of figurines and chainsaws. SOON basically being in a Kid robot store IRK was super exciting for me!!! It's fun to check out all the bizarre but awesome things so many artists end up creating and I think it represents so much of what HEIGHT is.Check it outta and bring money if you're like me and love these things....

Lindsey Sandell: My husband and I registered here last year when we were expecting our first child. We could not have had a better experience. Not only do they hand select the best items out there (allowing you to avoid being frustrated and overwhelmed at the big box stores), but the staff and owner is incredible and extremely knowledgeable. It continues to be such a great experience each time we shop there. We have also purchased gifts for others and they do a great job gift wrapping. Overall a great shop and one I would strongly recommend for baby gifts or for your own registry.

Kelly Cambridgeport: The MFA Boston Bookstore & Gift Shop has a large selection of merchandise in different price points for the art lover in your life. Postcards, magnets, pins, scarves, jewelry, toys, books, prints, journals, plush animals, and much more. There are at least 3 gift shops within thr MFA. One is in the exhibit area, one is to the left at the Huntington Avenue entrance, and one is near the small cafe by the theater.
