Tilman Benecke: Public Park Boston is a badass place to chill and hang out. It is the oldest public park in America and is steeped in history. You can have a picnic, people watch, go boating or just enjoy the great outdoors. There were also freaks blasting with medieval robes and double collars - premium entertainment

Olivia Case: Lars Anderson is a beautiful dog friendly area with girls for picnics and a playground but for a park that has so many public trash receptacles, The litter is out of this world. Brookline does not enforce recycling or no littering in this area. They also recently renovated the pond area which caused a swan pair to lose their nest along with a dozen eggs and be foreced to leave the pond.

Lucky Dog Owner: Wonderful traditional park to walk around on a sunny day if you are in this area. Kids playing soccer on the fields. Playgrounds with port-o-potties, paved walking trails, places to fish and bird watch. City vibe for sure but a nice place to visit to see nature.

Well maintained paved paths for walking and other activities. DCR owned and maintained, used by many different communities for many different uses: hiking, athletics, fishing, picnicking, and just being out in nature.

An artificial hill is the best spot for sledding in Cambridge.Restrooms: There is an indoor pair of public restrooms at the Eastern entrance to the park. Maiyim Baron: Don't miss checking out the circle of the newly planted Miyawaki Method Forest up near the top of the hill. These native species will grow into a mature Forest before our eyes much faster than you think possible!

KennedhyM: It’s mid I admit the views are amazing but what we had when we were kids kids here are just not the same. They managed to down grade the park and remade it into a terrible version. I saw more choices and remember so many things and now it’s just a mess with just a 4 level area and a second area that is more fun and a random tire cause yeah. It just isn’t the same fun. Mostly because it got downgraded. Everything else is bomb though (prehaps)

Michael Federico: My family and I enjoy a picnic here. There are picnic tables positioned under some of the trees for shade, smart! Plenty of space for running and plying kick ball or other games. If I could have 1 negative thing to say it was the planes from Logan Airport over head but even then still a great place to come and enjoy a day out with friends and family!!
Jaime Vasquez: One of the best parks to go for a peaceful stroll with great views. It does get super busy on weekends and on nice afternoons so I always prefer to go early morning. Parking is a challenge when busy.

Stephanie Oliveira: I found this park whilst aimlessly driving around Chelsea... the gas prices were lower then, don't worry! 😂This is honestly a hidden gem and I almost don't want to write a positive review with fears everyone will find it.The facilities are very well kept, the playground and park around it are always perfectly kept.My nephews love playing here and the toys are all safe and you can tell maintained with care. You also have an incredible view of the water.I haven't explored the whole area, but it appears there are many more things to do.

Laura Boylan: Nicely secluded, the wooded area has wide easy trails and good vibes, some scattered benches. Shaded playground area is decent. People let their dogs off leash in the field by the playground all the time, so beware if you don't want "nice" dogs jumping up in your face (or your child or dog's)Playground: General nice playground. The big slide is only accessible via a vertical climb or bridge. The bridge can be very tricky to get across without slipping, I've spent too long trying to help a two year old get across, while trying not to slip myself, so they can use the slide. (They are now managing fine at 3.3yo.)

Andrew: Park starts off as nothing more then a hiking trail and immediately opens up into something larger. Multiple paths to choose from with ridiculously large trees everywhere. Not what I was expecting from this little park at all. The trail around the pond is nice, with plenty of painted turtles to look at sunning on rocks and brances.
