Boston W: Rockland Bank recently took over East Boston Bank. A letter was sent to all East Boston Customers that checks which used to be free are now available at 50% off the cost and this would only last a short period of time. I called Rockland was was told "New Bank New Policies". This was repeated when I told the clerk that my checks were free at East Boston. I immediately closed my new Rockland Account and opened one at Brookline Bank with an Account offering free checks.
trina tatum: I have two Banks in which I do my accounts with, Rockland being one of them, and my other bank in which I do my Mortgage with and a few major accounts with. I have not even been with Rockland trust no more than a year and I have been monitoring how they go and charge fees after 1-2 wk and can't explain it correctly. On top of that everything that needs to be paid I pay right away through my app the same day before the time, because I have three major accounts that transfer right over. I have been with my other bank for 15 yrs and I have never had this problem. I contact the rep over the phone regarding this fee because it was very skeptical? It was reversed then put back some how. I said why was I charge this fee in the first place* (I pay all my bills on time)*. I was lied to from the beginning upon opening my accounts just so they can get my money and they want me too do a business account with them. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS I AM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT THURSDAY.

World Auto Body Inc.: Rockland trust has been the best bank in terms of customer service and business banking.Also Chestnuthill branch id the best Luba and Chris always so helpful.
Dawn Oates: I’ve always had a great experience going into this bank. Every teller knows me by name, and it is a small-town feel in the city, reminding me of how business used to be. Each person takes the time to get to know me as a client. They even sent home gift cards for my kids when my little one was in the hospital. They have offered to allow us to promote our charity events In the branch by leaving flyers out, and they have given a a very generous grant to a charity we support. I can’t say enough about this bank and every member of their excellent team!

VI GaFe: The worst bank ! Every time I try to go to the ATM to deposit money it is closed, I understand that the bank closes but why do they close the ATM, tomorrow I will cancel my account.
StanTed ButlerKeane: I was told that the change counter machine would be working at Rockland Trust Bank the new one on Center Street. I got there and the Machine looks like it's 10 years old. Not the machine they had at 725 Center Street. I tried to call that number there is no answer I called the one on Market Street line was busy I called the one downtown the line is busy I've been a faithful since almost 10 years. And this is very disappointing

Eric Benson: Hands down the best bank in the area. This branch provides exemplary customer service. They have not only remembered my name from day one, but they even remember my kids. I usually work with Matt, who is outstanding, i have opened 4 accounts with him and secured a loan. He even got me set up for credit card processing for my construction business and it's all linked to my business checking acct. It was really easy and they have streamlined the process perfectly. Even though I moved across town I continue to do all my in-person business at thos branch and I have no plans on going anywhere else.

Kyle Thomas: Yesterday, I walked in to get a bank check to complete a down payment on my first car. As soon as the place learned that’s what it was for, they erupted in cheers and wouldn’t stop congratulating me. I couldn’t stop smiling, they were really the kindest people ever. They even photocopied the check to help me commemorate this milestone moment.Soe Soe was the one who got me the check and her coworker Judith are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. They kept talking to me about the car, what year and model it was, tips and tricks on how to take care of it, the whole nine yards. They even waived the $8 bank check fee! And last but not least, the manager even came out to congratulate me after she signed off on the check.Long story short, this bank goes above and beyond what I would ever expect from a bank. I’m so happy to be a rockland trust customer, it's nice knowing they have some of the greatest employees around :)
jesse thomas: I live in the neighborhood, and though I primarily bank elsewhere I've often used them for small things.I don't know what happened but now they are just pushing scammy checking accounts and credit cards with terrible fee structures on folks who simply trying to do things like make change for laundry.Not so neighborly and I definitely will not be opening any new accounts there.
Alethea Rose: Very friendly and helpful staff, decent programs for a local bank. This branch doesn't have any safe deposit boxes available, though.
Andrew Sweeney: I switched to this bank when I lived in Brighton, now I'm in Burlington and they're still my bank. They're open 7 days a week, late a couple nights, and when you call them a real person answers the phone and directs your call to the right person if they can't help you.

Jessica Rodriguez: Had the worst experience due to the two women tellers (Asian).While standing in line I noticed how nice they treated the (white customers) ahead of me I just assumed I would be treated with the same respect, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I’ve never felt discriminated against until I was completely disregarded as a human being. Luckily the nice gentleman helped and walked me back to the teller and apparently after him speaking with her her attitude changed. She turned me away until he spoke with her.
Michael and Steve: The staff are awesome.I usually visit the Rockland Trust located on Washington Street in Boston Mass. They are very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy going there for my banking needs.Great service is important.
Janet Depaz: Second time I visit this branch and it is not open. Online I found that they open at 8:30 and the same time is posted at their door. It is currently 8:40 AM and it is closed. Can it be possible all employees are late the same day? Last time at least other employees were at the door waiting for the manager to open, but no one is here today! Disappointed, not very good customer service.

Jovanna Schalimar: I have been a customer of this branch for over 30 yrs. When I 1st moved into East Boston and it was EBsavings and still continues now that they have changed over to Rockland trust. Everyone in this branch is exceptionally friendly and very professional unlike some reviews that I've read.

Jasmine Victoria: Had the WORST experience today when going into this bank very disappointing. I walked in no one greeted me to say hello, I take a seat and I’m waiting to be called by customer service. Only took a few minutes which was good, but the customer service woman didn’t even stand up to tell me she was ready, she yelled over her desk to tell me she was ready. When I greet her with a smile and ask how she was she looked at me with a straight face and just said well. I told her my problem and was just trying to get her to understand, but she was rude the entire time and I wasn’t even there long, I probably sat at her desk a total of 10 minutes and if you run out of patience that quickly with your customers maybe that isn’t the job for you. when I tell you the moment I sat down she was with a nasty attitude. So at some point she lost patience with me and brought over her manager who was very kind, told me she would have it taken care of. At some point I was looking at her talking and she turned her computer away from me and her head with just a nasty attitude and ignored me while her manager spoke too me. I feel like I was being very discriminated against because her customer before hand was Hispanic and she was very nice to him, laughing and being enjoyable with him. I heard there entire conversation because I was right there but as soon as I go to her table she had instant aggressiveness. She was a very short, stout, heavier set, with glasses Hispanic woman. DON’T GO TO THIS BANK! unless you speak Spanish.

Steve Mas: The South Boston Branch located on West Broadway as run by Tran Bao Nguyen has got to be the worst operating branch under the current Vice President, Branch Manager. She treats the banks customers (this customer in particular) with such disrespect that it makes you want to withdraw your money and close your account strictly based on her bad attitude towards customers.I question the intelligence and the wisdom of the people in charge that promoted Tran Bao Nguyen to that position. As a customer of EBSB I expect better service, it is readily apparent this branch lacks cohesion with its customer base.For those that really want exceptional customer service bring your account to TD bank, the service is spectacular.
jamari king: The assistant manager and assistant vice president at the call center on West Broadway are total Bigot's and favoritize the Spanish worker the most. The assistant manager come into work smelling like a boozie liquor store and takes shots of booze inside of her office during the work day, while her boss the assistant vice president does absolutely nothing. If you like would like to trust your money with a bigot and a drunk id say bank here but if not RUNNNNNNN !!!!!
Jim Anagnos: Great customer service by Tran and her team. As a small business owner they are very flexible and accommodating to our needs. There is also something to be said about walking into a bank where everyone knows your name. We even moved out of the city and are sticking with EBSB because of Tran and her team and their excellent customer service.

lori vozzella: I’ve had my mortgage over 12 years I put in several calls to Rockland trust West Roxbury to Bob Driscoll the Mortgage manager only to get a voicemail never a person to have them contact me. I also had my attorney call and left a message we have NOT heard back not even a courtesy call back this is not professional and poor business practice Mind you I have never been late for my mortgage and my credit is good.
