LSI Boston (English language school): what do users think?
Luig Dias Vaz: The best english school that I had ever been into.
SULAIMAN SALEH:
OjosMedia Luna: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueSchool manager rob is abusive and yelling at everyone. We complain about it
The experience was very good because the teacher had an excellent didactic. What left him wanting, was that the school does not provide any book for students to study at home. They only lend the books during class. It would be interesting if at least they had some material of their own that would facilitate the students' learning mainly in the homeworks.
Fabinho_ Sp: Good night! Can anyone tell me the value of the basic course for 40 weeks?Boa noite!Alguém sabe me dizer o valor do curso básico para 40 semanas?

Teachers are so good and friendly, I studied there twice (5 months first and 5 weeks 4 years later). Don't be afraid to go there; meet great people and discover an amazing city.
Marcc Tec: Tudo bem organizado, bem explicado e condizente com a Cultura local. Bons professores e boa metodologia de ensino. Foi muito proveitoso estudar aqui, realmente me ajudou a melhorar meu inglês.
Larissa Cantu (Lari): I had a great experience in LSI. Teachers are so good, staff is really friendly and its always helping you.Students are nice, I made a lot of friends.

Diana Galindo: This is the best experience that anyone could have.I was studying at LSI Boston for six months and I only have grateful words for all the staff, especially for the teachers who taught and helped me to improve my English. Now I feel more comfortable and confident with my English.LSI isn’t only a school, it’s a big family who always will have their arms open for anyone who wants to come to learn. The people, places and experiences are priceless treasures that I’ll never forget.Boston is the most beautiful city to live in, despite its coldest winters and hottest summers, and thanks to LSI’s activities after classes I could know its culture, food and fun much better.Thank you, LSI, because I met people from all over the world. Thank you, LSI, because I could make my dream come true. Now I feel a deep sadness because it’s time to wake up to the real life, but I’m sure that if you decide to come to LSI, you won’t regret it.
Isabel Ramos Amate: I was studing in LSI Boston for 3 weeks. In this sort time I could improve my English too much. But the most important thing to me is I felt like at home, I met very beautiful people and made friends to all my life. At school I did a lot of activities and lived a lot of experiences. If I could I always repeat this experiences.Teacher are close and nice and do that all be funny and easy.
Jose Ricardo Kulczycki Oropeza: I was at LSI Boston only for 4 weeks and I can say that this short time in Boston has been the most beautiful and satisfactory experience that I ever had; I enjoyed every moment with my classmates and teachers especially with April and Steve. I hope someday go back to Boston to continue studing English and sharing with other people this excellent experience.
Pedro Cesar Domiciano Junior: Studying at LSI was one of the best experiences in my life. I met wonderful people and was taught by great teachers. When I had just arrived in Boston I Could not speak to anybody in English, but in a short period of time I was able to talk to everyone easily. I used to hang out with nice people from different countries, which is a good way to practice and improve your English. I just want to thank all my teachers for everything. THANK YOU ALL!!!
Cristian Velocci: I have been at LSI Boston for 5 weeks and i can say now that i feel me very improved because i haven't just studied, but i also enjoyed it with my class and with wonderful teachers in a lot of differents activities everyday. One of the best experience of my life.I'm going to go back in Boston

MassHire Downtown Boston Career Center: what do users think?
shay goncalves: Have not received a call after my 1st resea noone comes to the phone left a message no call returned
Juanita: I got a great job thanks to all the great webinars. Definitely take the resume, cover letter, elevator pitch, and interviewing. Melissa, Lauren, Wendy, Nicole, and Josh are awesome. They give you the tools you need. All you have to do is use them. If you miss something in one of the webinars don't worry because you will be sent a copy of the PowerPoint presentation
Bayo Elizabeth Cary: I, have 3 completed University degrees: undergraduate honor's studies, English major, and then, a Master's Degree: Library Information Science and Computer Technologies, however, Massachusetts businesses and US government, are not hiring me, therefore, I have to return to, education and training, through MassHire, for additional University degrees, and educational training, certifications. Apparently, my 3 University degrees, are not sufficient, for employment, in the United States-yet.
Tony Jay: I took part in the P2E program. It was great, my career navigators were Tasha & Gail. The support & encouragement from them helped me, as well as my entire class. The opportunities here are resourceful and can help you set your life up for greatness.
Trevor Walthall: I felt honored that an institution like that would let me be a part of it and I felt very comfortable in the environment thank you
Amber Ferguson: They helped me make my initial RESEA deadline when another career center dropped the ball. Specifically one gentleman helped me, he was wonderful and I felt so much better after our initial conversation. Definitely call this center for all of your unemployment needs.
Kendra Chase: They are there to check the boxes and get paid
IKH: This place is fantastic. These people genuinely wish to help you do your best with your resume, your job interview, and getting the best job you can. Its all free. However, you have to be willing to listen and learn. You can't learn if you don't utilize the classes they have. Go there, get you a career navigator and go to the group classes or one on one sessions and see if I'm not correct on this one!
Andrew Martin: Friendly staff who have to deal with a LOT! Really, my heart goes out to them. But personally, I didn't get anything out of their services except meeting my minimum requirements. I found better help elsewhere.
Alexander ladio Diaz: This is a good place to help the people to get back in the work force
Jay: You need help with getting a job or training or school that's the place to go to
Daniel Edmonds: They don't know their own policies and are unreliable:They failed to fully fill out a form and I lost three weeks of benefits as a result. I caught the mistake and the problem is now resolved, but those three weeks are still being withheld. MassHire told me that the payments would be paid out at the end of the eligible period, but that isn't true. I have to appear at a hearing in order to get the money that I lost because of MassHire's mistake.
马静宜: Absolutely useless staffWent there for the first time Two guys on the front desk. When I politely asked them I wanted to look for a job. The guy just said “ you can just use the computer here” no further instructions.I was shocked. If people can search jobs online they can search on their own computer or in a library. I asked him again “ are all masshire brunches works like this one ?” He said “ I don’t know about other ones “Speechless I went to their computer and tried to See what it is. Basically the same thing as any job search engines if not worse. And on the page they ask you to log in with job seeker id which the front desk guy felt too lazy to explain to me well.I sit in front of the computer for fifteen minutes just curious to see if the lazy front desk guy actually do anything here. Some elderly lady asked him some technical questions about the website he went there for a while trying to figure out and ended up saying “ sorry I can’t help out “I wonder if the employee there are just volunteering there or get paid too little to care.Don’t waste your time on this masshire you might as well sit at home using your own computer or go to a library. Or go find some better facilities with staff who actually care to help you out.
Paul Kouokam: Endroit propre et agréable
dina gonzalez: Wonderful

Operation ABLE: what do users think?
Nancy D: Not helpful. Can’t get anyone to explain this program. Will not provide any help in securing a job. Training was not helpful. YouInstead you will lose any benefits as they report it . Times are hard , families are struggling. How about actually helping those in need.
Beth Redmond Walsh: Extremely effective training in computer skills, interviewing, presentations, composing targeted resumes custom fitted to desired positions, salary negotiations, office procedures and more. I felt very confident in myself after completing the Operation ABLE program and landed a fitting job where I continued to learn.
Shirley Fickett: Quick trip in personal stop near this location.
Lori A: The staff are very friendly and helpful!!!
Thomas Curran: If you need computer training this is the place for you, and it's FREE!
Ayser Elamim: Helps older people like me find Jobs
Brenda Buford: Awesome
Renee Smrekar: Great resource and training 4 jobs!!
Judy Blackiemore: I can't recommend this place. What was offered was nothing I did not already know. There was no follow up and really no one is getting jobs via this service. A waste of time.
Charles Krueger: I learned the basics and got over my fears of the computer here. The staff here care about their students.

JVS Boston: what do users think?
Assia EL Ouazzani Touhami: I’m really so grateful to this organization
Anthony McAlpine: Beautiful establishment with different companies residing within
Abbe Neumann: JVS is totally disorganized and unreliable. I was quickly given an intake interview and was told that I would be accepted into a certain program. I waited for a phone call from someone to simply just set up an appointment to discuss further on how they could help me. I was called from a number that came up as a scam number. Once I listened to the message it was JVS telling me they would call again the next day they were open. No one called me for days and I kept calling and emailing (this was after I got an email that they closed my account) only to have the original person I was working with make me feel like I was annoying them. I asked them to email me because my phone is very unreliable for communication and was assured I would be emailed. I received a text that said, "Sorry we missed you again," and never received an email. The guy finally calls (yup, calls) me and tells me he called the wrong number (what, no you didn't) and tells me that I don't qualify for the program. They set me up with a meeting the next week to enroll in SNAP so I could enroll in the other program and the person never even showed up AND the original guy never emailed me the documents I was supposed to sign. I emailed again, and again stated emailing is the best way to get ahold of me and they still called first (eventually emailing). I now have to have an appointment with SNAP on top of everything else I have going on (I'm post-surgery) and they're providing no help to me in the meantime. You'd be better off doing things on your own, this place is a waste of time and resources.
do ri: Excellent..but some things here are more expensive than other places
Kiara Rebeca Teles dos Santos: Eu sou eternamente grata por ter a JVS na minha vida. The best teachers and the best coaches.
J Harrison: Unfortunately the place is still closed going on the website is a pain to use so few openings so my opinion they should just stay closed they are a great organization it's just right now if you can't even get your website to work well with appointments just close everything until you do
Hulki Capen: 5 years ago I asked them for help finding a job. I don't want to prolong. I have been to this address and to the different addresses they gave me many times. but they did nothing. I got parking tickets while I was there 😞 and I didn't have money to pay. But now, thank God, I have a Business and 10 employees by working myself with the help of God. Now i'm buying a my second home. Good luck everyone.
Mercedes Nunez: Horrible! I applied for cna program, after going through interview process and waiting for simple responses from “ recruiter” , I had to chase down and call them and continually ask them is there anything else they need, then they asked for extremely specific routines on how I would get to classes and eta and when I asked what was the purpose for this, they just kept saying it’s a part of their enrollment process then said SHE didn’t feel as if I qualified for the program which felt discriminatory against me being a mom. Then I called their supervisor to get some more clarity on why they needed such specific and invasive information and they just kept repeating the same thing. Just go somewhere else because they don’t want to loose their pipeline contract with Spaulding if you don’t give them invasive information.
Greenie Witch: My friend did the CNA Program here in JVS. Really good people and a quality learning experience delivered to her. Need more programs like these around the nation.
Menuka Tamrakar Tamot: So nice hospitality & all so much helpful staffs
roxy Work life: No good at all .
Genet Chiuqala: I am extremely happy to share my experiences since I joined the Bridge to College offer from JVS. It is a great place to start for those who want to look for a better life.I experienced a program prepared to strongly enforce students' ability to maximize our learning skills . Instructors, career coaches and all staff look at students to help us get ready for transitioning to Community College. Special teachers Margaret and coache Sharon there are not enough words to thank them . They are very kind and helpful and….JVS not only helps us get a better life, it also makes us a better and stronger person to continue to succeed!
alan truong: Best program ever
l s: The free Pharmacy Technician program is deceptively advertised. JVS is merely interviewing repetitively to no avail. After being asked aggressively a number of personal questions I received criticism and silence in return. The Pharmacy Technician start date came and silence. The people that I encountered at JVS were nosey and merely take advantage of hard up people by Zoom asking repetitive personal questions by different people. Examples of nasty though nosey JVS people are Sophie, Diana and their aggressive supervisor. JVS is a waste of time merely incompetent Quacks
William Lu: Discriminatory practice in their VITA program!
Joe Frazier: JVS helped me with my resume , filed my taxes and has been very helpful with getting me back to work . The Staff is helpful and always polite .
Shallom Shallom: Positive:Professionalism
ISABEL ALVES DA SILVA: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Kel Moy: Fer all walks o life JEWISH VOCATIONAL SERVICES HAS GOOD JOBS PREPARES PEOPLE THROUGH WORKSHOPS. Contemporaries: what do users think?
Vy Ngo: I had a great experience working with Contemporaries Inc. I quitted a previous job that was not a good fit for me, and within a month of working with Janet from Contemporaries, I started a new job in the Boston area that I greatly enjoy. Janet, as well as other staffs at Contemporaries that I talked to, are responsive, professional, understanding, and respectful. My placement at my new job is going well and Janet frequently checks in on me to make sure that she can support as much as possible. I would recommend Contemporaries for anyone who is looking for employment and working with people who cares and genuinely wants the best for you.
Damon Best: Great Experience! I was placed in a role after a week of working with the Boston team! It’s amazing how many connections they have to get you into a role that fits your needs! I would absolutely recommend anyone use this service if you want a high quality role in the Boston area!
Mike: Contemporaries is responsive, professional, and have great knowledge of the best places to work in Boston. I was placed at an assignment within a very short window of time and my recruitment specialist, Janet, really took the time to understand my expertise and offer positions where my strengths would be most useful. After a 4-month assignment with Contemporaries, I am now a full-time employee at my assigned location and couldn’t be happier with the support I received.
Maryann Newcomb: Janet was a pleasure to work with! She is an excellent recruiter and helped me land a fantastic position. Five stars!
Andriana Minasi: I was introduced to this company when trying to land my career job and that is exactly what they helped me do! I work for a federal agency, which happens to be my dream job and I couldn't be any happier. I recommend this company for any and all job opportunity's you may be seeking! not to mention they are extremely nice and whole hearted people, I cant say enough nice things! thank you guy again for all your help!
Victoria Gawlik: These guys are on it! I has having a really hard time finding a job in my field, reached out, and less than 2 weeks later was at my new job. Janet knows what she is doing, and I highly recommend taking the step to work with them.
Leia Hopson Key: I have had a really wonderful experience with Contemporaries Staffing. I was at a point in my career where I needed to transition to a different kind of role in my industry after taking some time off and Janet at Contemporaries was amazing in getting me connected with a role that fit my qualifications in a very short period of time. She responded less than 24 hours after my first inquiry, and I had an interview with a potential placement within a few days. The placement has been going well and I have gotten a ton of support from Janet along the way. I feel that I was given the opportunity to explore a role that made sense for me as an individual, and not just placed at random where there was need.I would recommend Contemporaries for anyone who is ready to get to work but who might not know where exactly to start their search. The support and guidance I have gotten from the agency has been critical as I have navigated this next stage of my career.
Joseph Noto: I had a wonderful experience working with Boston Contemporaries. Everyone was incredibly helpful and timely. Contemporaries helped me get places quickly and effectively. Truly a great experience!
Milena Gigliotti: I submitted my resume on a Monday afternoon and by Thursday I was already on the job, after I had been job searching for almost 4 months. This is how efficient and good they are at matching and placing candidates. They are probably the best temp agency out there and it was thanks to them that I was able to get my foot in the door, and become a permanent employee.
Cameo Steed: My experience with Contemporaries was smooth and easy. I reached out with my resume in late July and a month later, I had a job paying far more than I've been paid previously for similar work. After receiving an opportunity elsewhere, I left Contemporaries but I know that, if I hadn't found a new position, I'd still be working with them today as I can count on them to be prompt and help me find a placement that works for me!
Candace Qin: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI’ve had great experiences with Contemporaries. Everyone I’ve spoken to so far has been very friendly and professional. My current assignment is very enjoyable and pays well.
Alexa Panetti: I had a great experience with Contemporaries. They were timely and I received a call within a day of submitting my resume. After discussing my skills and experience, they set up interviews with an employer and I started the job within two weeks. The position was a great fit and I really enjoyed my coworkers. I was sad to go and I would recommend Contemporaries to my own friends and family!
Nic League: I have nothing but amazing things to share about this company.1. They provide amazing service.2. They genuinely care.3. They are always available.4. Experienced, dedicated and motivated.5. Driven to align your goals and needs.6. They truly go above and beyond. The list goes on... One of the most amazing and supportive staffing companies!!Additionally, Michael has been such a pleasure to work with!!!!
Laurie Brown: This is the most caring and professional agency I have worked with. Unlike other agencies where the focus is on the client, and keeping temps temping, this agency prefers to build great relationships and provide top talent who are highly skilled and can transition from contract to a permanent role. Janet Nagle and Michael Durickas are professionals who make it a priority to create a 5 star experience for their clients and candidates, by carefully vetting both. I Highly recommend them.
Laura Tracey: If you’re thinking of applying to contemporaries, do it! I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I had applied for over 200 jobs since graduating and was hearing absolutely nothing back. After sending my resume to contemporaries I received a call within 10 minutes, was put on assignment the next day, and was offered a permanent position a week later. I have worked with other temp companies before but this one goes above and beyond to find a job that they believe is a good match to your skillset. Janet Nagle was an absolute joy to work with and I genuinely felt that they were rooting for me throughout my entire time with them.
Jack Grey (Jack Simon): Contemporaries is magic! Within a week I had a great job that was a great fit for my career needs. Janet and Micheal and the rest of the office offer a unique high-touch take on temp work and I feel truly supported by the team.
BTWITCH GAMING: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueFollowing an unexpected lay-off from Simplisafe in February 2021 and taking a few months to recover and re-focus, I reached out to Boston Contemporaries for assistance with returning to work in the post-pandemic era. Boston Contemporaries had me interviewed and employed within a weeks time! I am absolutely ecstatic!
John Flanagan: It was a pleasure working with Contemporaries. If you manage to find work with them, you'll find that their policies are built around frequent and open communication. Sarah and Samantha checked in with me via phone call weekly and encouraged any kind of news or updates about my work. Overall, Donna and her staff are incredibly professional and were surprisingly supportive in my attempts to find employment, either with the company I was assigned to or with my own job pursuits.Over the course of my 14 months employed with them, I worked 3 different assignments. I eventually gained permanent employment with the university I had been temping for. I was paid on a weekly basis (never delayed) and was also offered health insurance (although I waived it). They also offered me many opportunities to work at events to get extra money. If you are ready to work immediately and can follow up on emails/phone-calls, you should have no issues.
Raechel Segal: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThe best staffing agency in Boston! Janet, Elana, and Donna are diligent, personable, responsive, and resourceful. I highly recommend Contemporaries. They are outstanding.
Arnulfo Quintanilla Jr: I recently moved back to the Boston Metro Area and I need to find a job and assistance in finding the right opportunities that matched my resume and where I wanted to take my career. I spoke to Janet and she was amazing! Made me completely comfortable, talk me through the process, helpful and already had something in mind from our first interaction. It took a matter of days from the first call to my first job in Boston! And I love where I am working. When they tell you that they care about your future and finding you the right fit. They mean it!
Ryan Farrell: Positive:ValueI was looking for supplemental work and they were amazing at placing me with a great team! I highly recommend and would use them again if I didn’t fall in love with my very first placement! I work here full time now. Donna and Janet are the best resources in finding temp-to-perm work in Boston.
