Janetha Dingle-Reid: I was extremely excited to come and explore the store. Chip, greeted my sister and we shared that this was our first visit to the store. he gave us an amazing experience! I must say he wasn’t the first person to great us and we were so glad he stop us from leaving ! He truly turned our experience around and quickly. he explained the how the store was set up and even educated us on a lot of wines. he also recommended a lot of wines (I purchased one) He even got me signed up to receive weekly newsletters from the store. I also spoke with Emily and she informed me about the special Tuesdays, let’s just say I can not wait to come back. I’m excited to be apart of The Urban Grape Community. My favorite part of this visit was the staff weekly pick. How amazing is that! The owners value their employees opinions. It’s also the perfect pitstop in the store for when you just don’t know what to try next!

Gordon's Fine Wines and Liquors: what do users think?
Ben Ghamami: As of October 1, 2022 this place is permanently closed.
Deisy Gysi: Great selection of liquors in downtown. Recommend it.
jay a: Bad selection, not many single drinks either but very nice worker
Rune Salbo: Great shop! Very nice selection of Whisky and I got some excellent advice for which 2 bottles to get - and then they offered some tasting too! I will definitely go back next time I'm in Boston.
Nathan Stone: I always come here when I'm in town to get the things I can't find back home. Big fan of Amaro and Bourbon in particular.
Patrick Iarrobino: They get five starts because their sign is 🔥
sherri sherri: My go to now I assumed prices would be higher bc it's right downtown but pleasanty surprised prices were lower or on point from suburban stores. Great selection had my 3 weekend beverages Tennessee fire , bailys & Guinness so glad I tried it. Staff was very helpful
Berry Reinders: Fine selection of wine and beers! Bought me some Bourbon Brand County Stouts.
Andrea Subissati: In addition to the expansive selection and lovely merchandising, we received friendly and knowledgeable advice from the staff in picking out a champagne and red wine selection.
Yoshinori Yoshi: 地元醸造の日本酒が買えるお店です。その他の酒も品数が多く、綺麗に並べられているので、買い物がしやすいかと思います。店員も親切です。
Gareth Ward: Lazy customer service. Cancels orders without reason. No calls, no notices. Nothing. Change your hours if you don't want to do your job past a certain time.
Doug Vinitsky: Great selection
John Adams: Nice selection and they were very helpful and knowledgeable in their recommendations. Worth a visit
G A: C’est un bon endroit pour les Champagnes récolant-manipulant, des vins de Piedmont, et les vins à faible intervention. L’équipe s’y connaît en vin et il est très serviable.
Tim Gerstmyer: Great wine shop! Nice selection and knowledgeable employees.
Jamie Dillon: Highly recommend them! Jack, the manager, did such an amazing job putting together a gift for me to send. They are extremely knowledgable and have some hard to find wines and liquors.
Colin Valentini: Impressive selection of some hard to find spirits. Located near Boston Commons. Staff are very friendly and welcomed my dog into the store which I thoroughly appreciated. Highly recommended.
Brendan Paul Mitchell: Amazing location and very knowledgeable staff.
Amy Torres: Big selection of wines, not so much with liquors. Friendly associates. Clean store.
Richard Wilkes: Great wine selection in an inviting space. Customer service is both helpful and knowledgeable. But you have to stand at the front door hoping one of those knowledgeable and helpful employees notices you awkwardly standing and staring.Maybe it's a COVID thing and I should be more understanding?Problem is they ask customers to leave their bags as soon as the door, so patiently waited for, is opened. So make me feel awkward and then make me feel like a criminal. No thanks.
Cait OBrien: Good selection for a smaller footprint store. Knowledgeable staff and they're all very friendly! Nice selection of craft liquor, small label wines and some decent beers/ciders as well. Wish there was more in the cold case for wine though.

Bacco's Wine & Cheese: what do users think?
Tom Nencetti: Fantastic place! Went looking for breakfast in this area and both places we went to no longer exist. Walked in here not knowing they serve breakfast and had the best breakfast of our entire time in Boston. The lunch menu looked great. Wish we were in this area for lunch. Also a great selection of cheese, fruit, wine, bottled drinks, everything. You will thank me for recommending this place. You. are. welcome!
Marisa Lopez: Excellent sandwiches and wraps!
Callie Wise State Farm: Visiting from SC, popped in to check place out. Super friendly staff, neat store that has amazing food to go, wine, cheese, and unique sauces. Mariana was extremely helpful in selecting a fabulous wine that suites my taste. What a great treat!
Chloe McKinley: Super friendly shop! Stopped in on a Sunday to grab some sandwiches and wine. Great selection of everything! The Crown Vic and Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap was delicious. Will be back for the cheese and kombucha selections!
Ann S: They are super helpful; my roommate went to buy cheese and didn’t know what to get and they helped pick the best cheddar we’ve ever had! We were also pleased to see that they carry ethically sourced and locally made chocolate bars. Good selection of wine and very interesting and unique craft beers!
Julius Starkman: Top shelf
Nathan: Decent selection of beer, part of the store is closed at the moment due to the pandemic.
Anita Huber: Absolutely wonderful experience!!! I ordered a gift bag to be delivered to a friend’s hotel in honor of her running the marathon. She was so impressed and delighted with her gift! She was still talking about it days later! Great job!
Moises “Taz” Abularach: Love the people there are the best!! They know what they are selling 100/10 would recommend.
Stephen Vitale: The St emlion's macarons are sent from above. They were also very helpful with wine selection for me and my wife.
Assumpta S: My favourite place to get wine and cheese recommendations. The tall fellow that works there is kind and knowledgeable
Philip Peterson: Great wine and cheese
Ben Mordini: Love this place! They have a great selection of wine and cheese. The staff is very knowledgeable and they helped me put together a nice charcuterie board for Thanksgiving. Well be back soon! Thank you
Jude DeCoteau: Friendly and very helpful service.
Ildefonso Rodriguez: Can’t recommend it enough!
Sarah Shea: What an amazing experience! I ordered a gift basket to be delivered for my mom’s birthday, and when the owner found out it might not make it on time, he personally delivered it 30 miles away to make sure she had a great day! This was hands down the best customer service I can remember receiving - plus the cheese and wine looked amazing.
Keith Gabryelski: You can't fake Bacco's wine selection. The place is smaller than a lot of wine shops, but the wine selection is incredible -- and you'll be surprised by suggested wines you'd otherwise not recognize or pass over.Go in. say you want a bottle for date night with some cheese and charcuterie -- bang -- you'll be in the winner's seat.
Chase Geeseman: This was a great little shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I had no idea what cheese to pair with my wine and they gave some real thought before making an excellent recommendation. The wine selection is small, but everything they had seemed to be of good quality. 5/5 I'd come back here again.
Erica Mattison: Wide array of items for home, entertaining, and gifts. Helpful, knowledgeable staff.
Jonathan Campbell: Nice selection and presentation, but overpriced. Probably because of the short walking distance to some big hotels.
Sonia Singer: They have one amazing selection on cheeses I tell you that much. and a very decent selection on wine at that. Love how they combined the two to make one stop shopping

BRIX Wine Shop: what do users think?
Scott G: I purchased a cheese/charcuterie board from BRIX and it was amazing. Everything was hand picked and so delicious. Tripp helped me to select the right cabernet and everything was perfect. Great shop with knowledgeable staff and amazing wines.
Glenn Morris: Great selection, a knowledgeable staff and the inimitable BRIX CHIX. You've got to go here to find out what a great wine store is!
Bryne E Valenzuela: Amazing customer service! Dillon really knows his labels and vintages. He was able to find a wine that met both mine and my husband's palates
Rudy Donalson: Sales person very knowledgeable about the company products, great sale.
Tee Andy: wide range of selection. value offer with 6 bottles at US$85..
Sandra Aime: Great wines 🍷
K Saulnier: Visited a while back and the service could not have been better. This isn't a typical liquor store - this is for finding little gems. Thank you!
Jared Smith: I found myself in paradise, wine paradise is exactly what I imagined it to be. No kidding, cool store with a great range. I took two bottles on recommendation, I will have a drink and will be back :)
amanda strawhacker: Definitely ask for a recommendation based on what you're having for dinner. They give such good tips!! Bottles run $25+ so be ready for a pricey taste treat
Barret Pfeiffer: Outstanding selection of wines with equally knowledgeable, helpful, and wonderful staff..Definitely the place to go for all your wine needs.
Joshua Carr: Great wine selection but very poor service from one of their employees. Will not being going back here needless to say.
Nolan Dick: This is my favorite liquor store around. I can't tell you why, because that could ruin it for me, but it's great. The staff is knowledgeable, very helpful, and will go that extra little bit to ensure you're a satisfied customer.
Brad Petrowitz: Occasionally have free tastings if you happen to be passing by some evening! (and not always just wine)
Winson Wong: Great selection.
Robert Love: Best wine shop in the South End.
Kevin Coveney: Kerry and Claudia have a awesome wine shop
Will Leitch: Helpful customer service. Got a couple of great wines. Surprised to find options under $20. The guy in line in front of me spent $250 on two bottles. So don't expect three-buck chuck here.
Tracy Gillette: Great wines an prices
Alex Mottern: The lady working upsold me in a second by saying that my t-shirt reminded her of a bottle label. Done.Mostly wine, but they do have some beer in the back left corner. The people working seem to know their stuff (I saw her help other people while I looked around).I want to give it 4 stars at it all seemed a bit much for a liquor store (that IS what it is), but it does focus on wine AND it is in the south end, so it is what it is and it's beautiful inside. They have wine tastings which I got a list of and have been meaning to go back for but something always comes up!
Katerina Erickson: Great wine selection and helpful staff. I attended a small wine tasting here which felt a bit rushed and impersonal. I'm guessing this was because the lead wasn't getting paid extra for this or something. Overall nice location in the south end.
Jordyn Garcia: Free wine tastings are awesome, but I did feel a bit rushed! Good place to stop by before visiting one of the South End's impressive art galleries.

Ball Square Fine Wines: what do users think?
Maya Bingaman: The store has a fantastic selection and is reasonably priced. The staff are excellent and even went out of their way to special order a cheese for me. I didn't know until today, but they do Wine and Cheese tasting Fridays 5-7. I met super friendly people and it honestly felt like a community staple I was missing since moving to Davis Square area.
Andy Wollen: Super friendly and great selection!
Gretchen Bennett: Ball Square Fine Wines is pretty fabulous. In addition to a great selection of wine and spirits, they have great cheeses and specialty foods. Plus the staff is always really nice.
Loretta Fernandez: Pretty good amount of Variety, if all liquor stores don't have what you need... this place will have it hands down. Might as well make this your first stop.
James Melvin: Excellent staff who are friendly and very knowledgable. They helped me tracking down a Vermouth I had in Barcelona. Great selection and my go to Wine/ Liquor store
John Coggeshall: Great selection and staff, and honest pricing even on allocated items.
Sarah Smith: Amazing selection. My go to place for the best cocktail spirits. Fantastic local beer case. Great mixers . Great cheeses and specialty chocolate and candy too. Lately I've been getting my Turkish delight here.
Alexandre Kaspar: A local favorite. They have a great variety of wines. Many great, uncommon ones. We especially enjoy their Eastern European wine section as well as the ciders and meads.

Common Vines Wine Shop: what do users think?
Kathryn Szymanski: I was super excited to try this place, but it appears they have closed.
Melissa Alfone: Good food, nice wine. Too bad they sneak $2 onto the bill for water. My company was purchasing a lot of gift cards here but never again.....our clients would not be pleased. After reviewing the bill at home, since they don't give you a chance to look at it at the restaurant, we contacted the restaurant about this extra fee but no one got back to us. I know it's only $2 but you can't just pour water for everyone and charge them without notice.**UPDATE - owner called mid Feb to tell me about why they charge $2 for wine. I don't care. Bottom line is you can't sneak in the cost of anything. She was very rude, kept talking for 5 minutes about how great her business is. I didn't even ask for water during my visit.
Alexandre Prestes: Bem intencionado, mas com fracção carta de vinhos e um gnochi q estava se desfazendo
DL: 분위기 좋고 와인 맛있는
Olga Shestopalova: Super cute wine bar with great charcuterie! First off, the inside is wonderful, there are flowers and wine bottles, and the glasses are very thin and elegant. We came here for a team outing of wine and trivia and everyone loved it! There was beer for the beer people and wine tasting for the rest of us.The charcuterie was delicious, as were the sliders and smoked salmon bites. The trivia was very casual, with a lot of time for chatter between rounds, and the blind wine tasting portion was a great touch.
Carmen Piedad: I am really not one to write bad reviews, but...Pros: great atmosphere and decorations.Cons: my friend and I walk and we have a reservation, but no one attended to us for about 5 minutes. They were clearly busy and understaffed, but it takes no time to acknowledge our presence and say “I’ll be right with you.” Then when we didn’t get a table, they seated us at the couch with menus and proceeded not to attend to us. So we decided to move to the bar hoping we’d have better luck there. We I was finally able to flag down the bartender (who by the way was lovely and kind and sweet, unlike their “host”), we ordered a wine flight. They we “out.” We ordered the cauliflower, the we’re out of that too. We settled on brussel sprouts, a cheese board and a burger.- brussel sprouts: BURNT- cheese: the tiniest cuts of cheese ever (but good)- burger: extremely well done (whyyyy) and so salty I could barely eat it. Tasted like they dropped it in salt.Anyways, if the service was better and the food still sucked or the service was fine but the food was amazing, this review would’ve been better but it was the overall terrible experience that left me feeling like not only do I never want to come back but I’d like to let everyone else know what they might be in for.Have fun guys!
Andrew Brown, Jr: Wines from Napa & SoCal, from Piemonte to Trieste, Méthode Champenoise, oaked Chardonnay, this spot has a solid program, good seating and nice feel to it. I'll visit and imbibe there again.OH! Ask me about the gnocchi in black pepper and browned butter!!!!
isabel segura leon: Un lugar agradable y comida sorprendente. Estuvimos muy a gusto, trato amabilísimo. Recomendado
Richard Moore: Great ambience, great food and the music is awesome
Nancy Decker: Really fun place to go! Good but reasonably priced wine and the meat and cheese plates were great!
Rachel Moliere: Wonderful waiters, delicious service
Tyler: Nice bar, fair prices, wings were OK.
Oana Manolache: This is our absolute favourite place in Boston!! ❤️ The wine selection is incredible, the service is over the top (Paul is so great and knowledgable, letting us try so many wines) and the atmosphere is vibrant. Perfect spot for drinks after work 🥂
Robert Hightower: Really great seafood and they had a bottle of Cab Franc - bonus! They're not kidding when they say the wait can be 2-3 hours for a party of 2. Be patient, it's worth the wait.
damon rose: Love the atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly. Very knowledgeable of different wines. You'll see yourself going back again and again.
Kate Garvey: Great wine but the service was so spot on, I'd come back solely for the bartender! Wish they were open a bit later than 9 pm so it could be a regular after work spot!
Oskar Möbert: Nice staff. Good wine.
Nakul Kadaba: Incredible experience! I loved how they had a reserved table for us even though we were a little late. Wait staff was completely patient and friendly with our questions and preferences. Food and drinks were great (see pics). Highly recommend their cheese board and red wine selection. Insulation made it such that it was a tad loud and it was tough to hear people, but overall excellent place and I will be back very soon!
Adam Howard: A very nice place for wine and tapas. Even though we made a reservation we still had trouble getting a table, they wanted to sit us on a couch with a coffee table, but after some back and forth we were seated. The wine selection was good and the server knowledgeable. The food was very good also, and I recommend the house board and the veggie flat bread. The acoustics are not great, and if you have a hard time hearing in crowds this place will be very tough for you to hear in.
Max H: Good food and good wine selection. The coffee isn't anything special. It's pricey, but probably standard for the location. Would recommend the spending some time to enjoy wine and have food elsewhere.
Karen Richardson: Lots of wine options and knowledgeable staff. Super expensive.

Boston Wine Exchange: what do users think?
John Greg: Really nice kind of old school atmosphere in this store. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Also they don't gouge customers on products that are scarce and hard to find. If they have it they sell at msrp. I bought bourbon there that I've seen elsewhere for double the price.
Éric Audet: Perfect store for a perfect home drink
Jennifer Hubner: I personally rate this establishment a 1. I had a specific spirit that I was looking for and it was advertised online that they had it for sale. The employee advised me that they hadn’t carried said item in about 3 months. My husband, on the other hand scored an awesome bourbon so that is why I gave a 2.
Rare III: A lot of wine
Richard P: Even though I live in Bedford, dwx has great products that are worth seeking out! So I spent an hour and a half going and retrieving my purchases. I will do so again!
MOZ ABD: Nice service 👍 and some more fun
Izzy: The guy at the front was rude. I didn't even want to buy anything after that
Sean Faherty: Excellent craft beer options, with heavy emphasis on local (large selection on New England heavyweights).
Maeve MacGlinchey: Fantastic service from Eamon Keating and a brilliant selection of South African wines. Looking forward shopping here again soon!
Samantha Zurcher: Best service & selection ever! Just visited for a dry cider and I almost felt guilty for how helpful these guys were! New favorite wine shop in Boston
Andrew Brown, Jr: Friendly, knowledgeable, and very well provisioned. Prices aren't half bad either
Michael Poku: The guy's at the counter were very helpful
Renee Viens: Called Eamon at BWX for some help with an older, vintage wine and he was able to secure it within two days, which made us very happy because this is a corporate gift! Service and communication was AMAZING and I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for any wine or spirits! Super professional, fast and so easy to work with via phone and email!! Thanks again!
Andrew Doberstein: Fabulous place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Jesus Bonilla: Excellent products good service
Ivan Lugovoi: Great choice of wines and whiskey
Mike Herring: Very cool wine and beer shop with a wide selection. Often have beer tastings Fridays after work.
Abdeladime Ait Arrami: Good
Kyle Schroeckenthaler: I mostly go here to pick up my CSA, but all the employees I've met are pretty great and the selection of beers is fantastic. (I'm more of a beer guy than wine.) Great downtown location too.
J: Super clean, great selection and very friendly staff. Would recommend.
Parvesh Kumar: great wine and beer selections

Staff is consistently knowledgeable and happy to offer guidance but generally respectful of your time to leave you alone until you ask.
