ROSS CASSEL: I was there right today, Jan 28th, in the morning and later . Wonderful and smart experience in the morning, when a mature guy made it very smooth and fast to pick up a 15 Truck. Great guy, great store. Unfortunately , when we came back to drop off the truck and to rent a van everything was different. A young guy , acting as a powerful manager, treated us very badly because we stopped the truck few inches beyond the “line”. He lectured us (one of us is a 70 yo engineer and the other one is a university professor) even saying we cannot read . He was very rude and unexpectedly unpleasant, as if we were not customers but some kind of tax collectors. He did not know, maybe, that we were customers, paying customers. By the way, the big ( very big ) sign saying “equipment return” hanging from the ceiling invites entering, while the stop sign is a really smaller on a side sign . However, he did not know what politeness is. Unfortunately , rudeness is a bad attitude to customers who ( after a very long day of hard moving work) do not need to be badly lectured and even barked at by very unpleasant and unrespectful people. We gave up renting a van in Cambridge due to our very bad experience. I have never seen any attitude like that in my 70 years . Good luck to other customers !!! That guy should be taught that smiles are for free. Maybe we cannot read….but we can write .We are going renting the van elsewhere , just to avoid to pay for rudeness ! Not there anymore , thanks !

Justin Jackson: I rented a cargo van from this location, and due to a miscommunication, I left with a mistake in my rental agreement (my fault for not checking everything carefully before leaving). 5 stars because the employees worked with me to fix the problem even though it was not the easiest/most straightforward thing to fix. Customer service is everything and is so appreciated!

Tetsuya Kaji: I went to the counter to book a van and the manager Curt helped me out. When I booked it, I did not ask for the insurance and he also told me that there are no mile charges on Sunday. However, after the rental they charged me both the insurance and the mile charges. When I called them, they told me there was nothing they can do because it was the manager who booked it. I think it is ridiculous.

Andre Gill: “Manager” and self proclaimed “Marketing specialist” harassed me days after returning my truck late. Got a call he informed me he was attempting to illegally hold my deposit after fees were paid. When I asked him to write an email stating the reason why he was contacting me he refused. He Called from a cell phone not the stores number. He reported the truck as stolen and filed a police report for a late truck return. With so many other locations why would one deal with the headache of mall cop “managers”? Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this location more specifically the fellow with the glasses and the little man syndrome. Had to call customer service, wait three hours to get my refund and am still waiting days after the truck was returned for the police report to be closed. Customer service at its finest!

Gustavo Biaobock: Terrible customer service, rude and clueless people working there! Went to Brighton location and got 100 times better service and drove off with my reservation in less than 5 minutes.
Nour Maalouf: My friend and I had to get boxes for our whole living group (more than 100 boxes). The staff went beyond their responsibilities; they helped us fit as many of them as possible in the car. It was literally a game of Tetris. Not everything fit so we had to do multiple rounds, but we got to U-Haul for the last round a minute after closing time. Despite having finished officially working for the day, the staff helped us carry the boxes outside and stayed a little overtime. They were incredibly helpful and fun to talk to. Thanks guys!
John Lo: We rented the van to move our stuff to the storage. Unfortunately, the car broke down and they took forever to come fix the car, which resulted in us having to pay an extra parking fee and going to the storage on the next day. Worst of all, U Haul charged us for the day the car broke down and the next day when we still had to drop our stuff off at the storage.

There was an issue with my storage unit and Kurt helped me get a new unit right away even though the location appeared to be full. The facility itself was very secure and easily accessible, my friend decided to store there too after seeing it!

Alexis Lan: Will not rent here !!! The manager Tina is very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!! When I came to the building to rent a storage unit she was VERY unwelcoming and unpleasant. Mind you when I went into the office the door was closed and I politely knocked the door and when I went into the office she looked at me rude like why am i here . Seems like she just didn’t want to do her job . She turned me away from even wanting to rent with you guys!!! To say she’s the manager she doesn’t provide good service at all !!!

Stephanie Nam: Overall had a good experience, but found the office often closed despite the business hours sign / what is posted on Google. If you can get hold of the staff, they are very friendly and proficient in helping you out. Once you have the storage unit, then you can access it without any issues when there is not one at the office.

When I called customer service 20 minutes after they said they would contact me back in 15, Christopher was rude and condescending. It has been 45 minutes since I arrived and they have yet to give an eta on sending someone to help. When I asked if I would be able to get in tonight Christopher said “it depends on how impatient you are.” It’s 8pm. I felt unsafe alone in an unlit space so I had to leave.

Suzana Iacob: DO NOT RENT HERE. I have rented a storage unit here since 2020. First off the rate on the website is only like that for a couple of months. After they will raise your rent an obscene amount, almost double . They told me the website rate is for new customers only. Secondly the manager of the store is the rudest most unhelpful person I have ever met. Previously the worker there Cesar was so nice, always helping out such as he moved me to a more accessible box , he helped me receive and send packages from the storage etc. Now this person Tina or what’s her name is just horrible . The answer to everything is no , no we can’t have UPS come here (even if they did in the past with no problem), no you can’t use the printer for the shipping label (again the previous manager allowed this ), we couldn’t even use the bathroom after being there for 6 hours packing , she just decided to lock the bathroom. Then while I went shopping for supplies she harassed my mother who was there packing and my mom doesn’t even speak English well and this lady was yelling at her and not letting her pack. Honestly I’ve never met someone who tries so hard to make you miserable . My advice is to go to Extra Space Storage , they are just next door

If you are writing a review after just moving in: wait until you see the 20 percent and larger rent increases you will get after your first six months of your 'contract' then see how true your review rings!!!I had a leak directly over my 4th floor unit that continued for at least two months without being fixed. More than ten units were affected. No assistance from management, no refund for destruction of property, no attempt to stop the leak from penetrating more and more units on the top floor. Gate almost never working properly so access is limited at best. Employees never give last names (to avoid being called as witnesses). Was forced to sue for gross negligence. Hard to believe this company is allowed to do business in MA considering the extent of poor conditions in this facility.

Carl Borgioli: The storage units are clean. The roadway around the building are always plowed. During the day there is always someone there to help.
P V: Fantastic customer service, easy in and out. I'm using this place for RV parking...not sure how the storage units are.The only thing I wish this place was keypads on the other side of the access road - needs to be flipped so the driver can input the code!
Eddie Valentine: I've always felt I have too much stuff around my house, my wife calls me a "hoarder" so I was sort of forced into getting a unit. However what I got was far above just a simple unit! The staff is so nice, and the space was huge for the price! Now all of my vintage TV guide and newspapers are safe and sound! My wife still left me though....but there isn't enough storage space to mend our relationship. 5 stars!

Dylan Wolff: A few problems with this locationThe main one is that is feels unsafe. I’ve had several very uncomfortable moments with a blacked-out car driving slowly and repeatedly past myunit after hours. I’ve lived in some pretty rough neighborhoods, so I’m not easily phased, but I also trust my instincts and it felt like the unit was being cased. This happened on several occasions, including once when I had a friend with me, and she said her instincts were screaming at her to get the hell out of there.I was also told by a helpful employee that the area had problems with safety. So something to keep in mind.The other is the rent increases. Prime increased my rent 35% in 12 months. Most storage units do this, but not to this extent. I’m not going to pay $250 for a 10x10 when their online price is $120. I moved my stuff to a safer, much cheaper indoor facility in Boston and feel much better
Joe papa: T.Parker is the Manager at Prime Storage, she went above and beyond to secure my Unit, it was a snowy day, thought I was going to be late, called her and Ms. Parker stated, “I will wait, don’t rush your safety comes 1st.” I felt that she was so sincere, when I got to Prime, she handled the whole process with ease, informed me about Insurance coverage on the Unit that would be in my best interest, she wanted nothing but the bed for me. Outstanding customer care, Hats Off!

Michael Feagley: When we called from Florida, Prime Storage-Malden had the large drive-up storage room we needed available for rental and we reserved that unit that very day. We signed the lease electronically and made an initial payment electronically the next day. Local family members and a contractor were storing boxes the second or third day, getting through the gate with ease using the entry code that was provided. The people we dealt with, all by phone, including local manager Joe, were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. When the front gate inexplicably stopped accepting our code (computers!), the staff there jumped on the problem right away and got it solved. And the free first month's rent was most welcome. Based on my experience so far, my expectations for future visits to the facility and regular email reminders of payments due are highI highly recommend this storage place for anyone who needs off-site storage in Malden.

He was enthusiasts and wanted to ensure I had everything I needed. He was never pushy, nor did he try to sign me up for the expensive counter price. He advised I go online as the prices would be better, and this shows he care about my needs more than profits.3. Probing and Identifying the best solutionMichael took the time to listen to every need, and to strategically select the best solution for the issue. He began by asking me about box sizes and estimated items so that he can show me the right storage space. Michael was patient and never made me feel that I was a burden, even though other customers were coming in and out of the location.4. Probing DeeperMichael discovered that there were several options available, and asked what was my preference, What Michael did was suggest different solutions, all tailored to my needs. He really wanted to ensure it was the right choice for me which shows his dedication to his Custumer service excellence.5. Genuine CareI can tell Michael enjoyed the work he did based on his demeanor, his smile, his patience and tone of voice. He never communicated negative body language. He took the time to get to know about me. He also identified the best option, and provided them to me so that I can feel ownership in the choice.We bonded over our love of 90s nostalgia and the Sony PlaystationMichael’s presence really had a profound impact on my as I rarely see this level of excellence outside of certain industries.If there is anything I’ve learned in the 20 years of L&D, specifically in team member development, is that people like Michael do not exist in the world without being recognized. Alex Hage: This place is the absolute best and has the best prices in the area. The staff are impeccable, organized and very clean especially Jackson. I have been a customer for many years and never had any issues. I highly recommended.
Vanessa Pritchard: Today we were assisted by Jackson at the facility. When it was brought to his attention that we were in need of a bigger space as he passed by us trying to maneuver our items into our unit, he offered to assist us with finding a different unit that was larger in space and comparable in price. He delivered on both fronts, was highly professional during the process, and then even did a little magic trick for our toddler to make her smile. Great customer service, and I highly recommend this business for all your storage needs.
Jp Palmitier: I am LIVID. Because...Elevators are broken, and apparently have been for a while. I set up my account, arranged for autopay, and got a 5x8 for 91 freakin' dollars a month. This was done online, where NO mention is made that the second-floor unit that they want to rent to you for an exhorbitant rate is only accessible by STAIRS. I cleared my schedule so I could move in --- and THAT took some of my valuable time, lemme tell ya --- and showed up with the first jeepload of several, to find signs on both elevators. I didn't even go to the unit, just straight to the office to cancel everything.Public Storage, you owe me three hours and a half-day's pay.DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE

Saad Yacoub: I came in the evening of November 1st 2022 bringing stuff to my storage and take out other items to find both elevators not working and I had to go up all the way to the 6th floor twice.Again this is the beginning of the month so it could be a moving day for some people I understand things happen but at least you should E-mail your customers immediately especially those who have units on the top floor and let them know that the elevators are not working so no one goes out of their way to find out until they get to the building that the elevators are not working.
Chris Austin: The storage itself is fine, but the quoted price will only last for less than a year. New 5x10 units are listed at $121/mo for online signup, $152 regular. When I signed up in 2018 it was $109 for the first three months, then it increased periodically, and I'm now paying $176 a month.Their business model is to have competitive rates listed, then increase existing customer costs above the cost for new customers. They know that other storage facilities will behave similarly and that the cost of moving your things will be higher than the cost of paying increased rates.
Celestine Wong: I had a great experience with the Somerville Public Storage team. Michael was an amazing help to me, from the first phone call, to helping me with move in and eventually move out. If I ever need a space again, I'll most definitely come back to this facility.Facility is clean, dolly(s?) are available to make move in/out easy and gate access works flawlessly. And again, the staff here are wonderful, kind and helpful people :)
Jessica Smith: I just want to write a heartfelt review. To Michael at this location, he has been such a kind and thoughtful employee. I was homeless and need a place to store my valuables since I lived in a shelter for 1.5 years and didn’t want to give up my sentiment items. During that time, there were serval months I couldn’t pay or needed extra time to find assistance. Michael and the staff always reached out to me or helped make accommodations so I did not lose my things. Although I was going through hard times, he and the staff treated me with courtesy and kind; they were never rude or made me feel less than and I thank Michael. He and the entire staff has been helpful and empathetic towards me and I am ever grateful. Thank you again!

Peter Shoe: Pros:-Staff is very friendly and helpful in getting you set up with a unit-Very well located just off 93 and close to the city-Security gates and covered parking for loading and unloading is fantasticCons:-They have a very significant mice problem-The construction nearby is driving all of the rats and mice into the space. Rats stay on the lower floors and mice move to the upper floors-There was a guy living in his space on my floor-They increased the rental rate $25 higher than my initial quoted rent 2 months after signing the contact. If you are renting there, add $25/month to whatever they rent they are telling you

Charles w Catlin: The staff at this Public Storage facility went above and beyond with me. I bought a 10 by 30 foot storage unit at auction and it was stacked to the ceiling. I was very overwhelmed and I could tell they felt bad for me and gave me a generous amount of time to clean it out. They were extremely helpful and I would recommend this storage facility to anyone because of their amazing costumer service skills. Jackson is so nice and so helpful and so are the other staff members. They were very communicative and it made me feel good everytime I visited the office. Even though I didn’t make any money on this unit, I gained a positive experience from the friendly staff. They made my experience positive.

Tina Cozzolino: Poor customer service spoke with a woman named Deborah who was in a hurry to get off the phone and not helpful at all I had secured a unit on line and was not able to gain access when I got there because I guess you can only gain access during open hours upon arrival there was a woman that was locked in because it was past closing time and she needed to call customer service to let her out and because it was past closing hours my self and another vehicle could not gain access and we tried to call but no answer so I left a message for a call back and no one called me back till Monday morning and spoke with Deborah who said I was not able to get a refund because I needed to call the same day but I did and no one called me back and proceeded to ask if I wanted the unit but by this time I no longer needed it because I found another person that would store my items so I had to still pay for a unit that I no longer need not right at all
