Christopher's Restaurant and Bar: what do users think?
Sarah Tinkham: Miss your tots and burgs
Matt Meyer: Best bang for your buck in Cambridge. Portions are large, menu is not super expensive, and the food is good.I take my family here whenever they visit. We don;t like fancy places. We like good food that doesn't leave us hungry and doesn't wrack up a huge bill.Be careful with the pulled pork mac n cheese. It's a lot.Great place with great people!
Bob D: We have always loved Christopher’s, and now we miss it so much. Hurry up with the vaccine already!
Gerald Manning: Great drink options
Klutzz Love: Omg that toad burger is amazing!
Alexander Hoxha (Techdreamer): Love this place rotating beer selection is always awesome really good nachos I'm one of the best burgers
Kurt Heinrich: Nice place to eat, great service, weekends are very busy, too noisy to talk, there is an upstairs and downstairs hut can only hold up to 348 people all together. Small waiting area and small restaurant.
leo vega: The service was excellent and the food was good!
George Nelson: I one time had bad service here. In fact it was so bad that I don’t care that it happened. More entertaining than anything. Food was still good and I’ve had great service all the other times I’ve been here. Burgers are always amazing. Can’t imaging they have ever messed up a burger. They seem to know what they are doing.
Diane Reidy: Great customer service. Our waiter was the best. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. If you go, try "the Toad" burger. Excellent! (No, it's not an amphibion)
malcolm andrews: Went with a large group and still got great service.
Noam Yodla: I had not so great experiences with this place I ordered take away, first I've waited more time from what they said I should.I asked my burger for medium and it came well done, I barely ate it.And for the end I also asked ketchup and mayo and they didn't put in the bag even one!!!!It was such a disappointment, I stayed hungry because the food was not that great... and I'm sure will not order from there again
Leon Marucchi: Great food & service. Nice atmosphere.
Jen Spencer: Great food, very good prices and cool vibe.
Sandy Yuan: The potato fries are completely burnt.
Hana Aubad: Good, comforting food.
C Owens: Great service & excellent food
amanda ellis: Great little spot. So underrated! I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been a good time. I came here with an enormous group and we stayed way too long and yet our waitress was kind and gracious.Their homemade veggie burgers are DOPE. The people I was with all raved about their food, also. They also serve an impossible burger. The drinks are fun and strong.
Ryan Burke: Comfortable setting for drinks at a local hangout. I particularly enjoyed their take on an old fashioned and a Manhattan.
Jerry Callen: Great casual dining, good selection of beers, friendly service. But it can get loud when Toad (next door) has a band going, and there are too many TVs for my taste.
Andrew Thibault: Good Burgers

Jeffrey Ohl: A sports bar. Always got all the games on. Lot of cocktail options but also your standard domestic beer selection. Decent range of food from under $10 appetizers to $20 entrees. Huge seating area means you can drop in any time without needing to wait.
Niklas Hardenborg: Overrated. Really good beers, but food was… okay but… boring.

Sanjana Shetty: If you want a place to go to in Central square where you can sit and watch games and drink beer this is not a bad option. However, I would not recommend this place for food or cocktails. We had the nachos and both times were not impressed. Their menu too is not friendly for people who don’t eat red meat and definitely not for vegetarians. We got an old fashioned and it was average at best. Overal, central square has numerous other better and cheaper places that one can go to.
Timothy Grunkemeyer: Nice atmosphere, good drink selection. Food is very middle of the road. Service is fine.
Zi Shayk: Great place. Great food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Emily Andrews: Great for a pub vibe. Friendly bunch!Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Eva Lendaro: Good atmosphere, food was okey nothing special. They do not really have vegetarian options.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Alexis C.: I came here on MLK Day and had the salmon tacos with truffle fries on the side. The fries were amazing, crispy with just the right amount of truffle. The salmon tacos on the other hand were bland. The salmon definitely needed seasoning. What they did get right is the amount of filling in the taco. They were generous with the size of the salmon piece, salsa, and other filling. However, I was sadly disappointed though re: the lack of flavor of the salmon.I won’t be rushing back here. 😢

Dig Time: Service is very questionable. We ordered drinks and just never received them. Sat for about 30 minutes. The young female bartender is very rude and not someone you want to interact with on a personal or professional level. Highly don’t recommend as there are a score of other places to go in the area for drinks. Wings were also dry as well.
Jaye Aster Broder: A go-to college pub, Grendel’s has a nice half-priced food happy hour from 5-7pm when you also order a drink. Grendel’sIs normally busy and a little loud. There are stairs down to enter. While in the basement, there are some windows that let light in. There is a moderate selection of beers on tap and cans as well as some simple cocktails. I would probably discourage large groups from coming here as it can be tough to find a table.
Samantha LaForgia: Decent after work spot! Reasonable priced. Some variety to the menu. Check it out if you want something quick and low key!

Crystal Gonzalez: Their espresso martinis are amazing, as well as potato skins with Mac n cheese. Typically packed on a Friday night but its harvard Sq. The vibes and the music were great, and I did appreciate the public safety notice in the bathroom.

CJW: Bomb spot. Great divey, service industry hang. Rad folks, both those that work there as well as the people who frequent Grendel's. If Mal is on bar, get a green tea shot (Note: it contains alcohol), it is extremely tasty. Best part, it's tasty for any palette; it's not too sweet, not too sour/bitter, great complexities, and absolutely delicious flavour profile. Yummy! Nice bathrooms, good ambience, great music, and all around good energy vibes. As always, please don't forget to tip your servers and your bartenders, in addition to any and every one else that works to provide a wonderful experience for you. ©️ CJWVegetarian options: Various yummy vegetarian optionsParking: It's in Harvard Square so it's generally fairly difficult to find parking. I suggest using public transportation, or park outside of Harvard Sq. and enjoy a short walk to Grendel's. ©️CJW

Jordan Sandman: Best place in the world to work. Period.
Dan M: Pretty solid Harvard Sq Dive Bar with a scent and stickiness that always lingering. Maybe it’s because it’s in a basement. Anyhow they have a great patio set up in the summertime so I like to go then. Only thing is you need to order some food with drinks when dining out there.
Tom: Decent food, but the bartender looked/acted like he'd rather be anywhere else other than work, which I get, but c'mon guy.
Jan Haughey: we were looking for a spot to get dinner before a show at ART, and this was perfect. First time there. Our server was helpful and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised that the meal was half priced due to the time and drink order! Grafton Street Pub & Grill: what do users think?
Isabella Pignataro: Paul is absolutely phenomenal to talk to and the food is great! It is all high quality and delicious. Definitely worth the stop!
Ashlinn Withers: My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch after a long drive to visit the area, conveniently located under the parking garage where we parked. I ordered a coffee and French onion soup which was delicious. He ordered the spicy meatballs which came in a salsa Verde, not too spicy, but very flavorful. It's a low lit, but warm atmosphere. I definitely suggest trying this place out if you haven't before.
Patrick Rowe: Paul and the staff at Grafton Street pour a wonderful drink and provide you with top notch service. They have an extensive beer selection, well prepared cocktails, and most importantly witty conversation. You won’t regret visiting Grafton Street, I highly recommend it!
Lauren Zervos: Incredible experience at Grafton Street! Great beer / drink selection - but most importantly - great service. Paul went out of his way to take care of us and make sure we had a great time. Will absolutely be visiting again when we’re in town!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Tod Rasmussen: I had brunch here on Sunday and I was uncertain how it would be as it was my first time to the new location. I was pleasantly suprised how very gezellig (cozy) it was. The other location had high ceilings and was very spacious, but it wasn't as gezellig. All the waitstaff were very friendly and responsive and the manager even came to see how things were going which I thought was a nice touch. On the food side, they have a lot interesting brunch starters (Japanese Macha pancakes with berries) and we really liked the eggs benedict, corned beef hash, and biscuits, delicious! Keep up the good work Grafton Street and thank you!
Kayla Dambola: Great food and service! Super cozy place ! Paul was our bartender and made the best bloody Mary’s.
Michael McCloy: Make sure you see Paul for amazing bloody Mary’s!

Nicholas Presswood: Came in on St Patrick’s day with a large group and was served by Patrick. How Lucky! Patrick was incredibly attentive and seemed to know what our group wanted before I even did. Even during an extremely busy day it was as if he was always right there in case we needed anything. His jokes and upbeat attitude combined with the great food and atmosphere made for a wonderful St. Patrick’s day experience.
Geraghty Campbell: Paul was the best bartender! Cannot wait to get back to spend the day having fun with this crew! The curry chips were amazing!
Samantha Wolfe: Nice experience overall. Responsive service. Spinach and artichoke dip was on point, but the pita chips that came with them were overcooked (twice). I really liked the salmon poke, but apparently poke doesn't always come with rice. Fish and chips was very good. Nice atmosphere.
Michael: Food was decent value but too salty. However, very disappointing that the pub has a "kitchen fee". This is the type of junk fee that society would be better off without.

John Malm: Waiter forget about us. I asked someone to please get him. He came and took our order (didn’t apologize). An hour and a half later I had to get up and find the manager. We ordered 3 salads and a burger. He said that they were at capacity. Not an apology, again, I said we only ordered salads and a burger. He said he would check on our order in the kitchen. He never came back to offer an explanation. We waited another 30 minutes and finally I had to get up again to find the waiter to just ask for the check for our drinks. He then apologized and said the kitchen never had our order. Manager never came back, no one offered to comp our drinks. Paid and walked out. Worst experience!!
Staz: The views of the city/river were non-existent at night due to the windows having a mirror effect. However, the food was delicious and well made. The service? Fabulous. Grace W: My family and I had Christmas dinner at Artbar this year. We had a fabulous time. The food was great and so was our service Eneida. There was also a very friendly manager who came over to say hello and check in. We will definitely be back!Parking: Parking was easy at the Royal Sonesta garage. We paid 15$ for three hours after validating our ticket.
Louise Van Hoften: Felt like a speed eating competition. Went here for Christmas Day. Within an hour we finished a three course meal.Soup was served first but had to be poured over behind the scenes from a Tupperware container into the serving bowls, soup was all over the edges of the bowl. Maincourse, the meat was cold. After sending it back it still wasn’t warm. Salmon was good, side dishes were very nice. Dessert was nice.
William Toll: Really good food. Bad ambiance
Becky Curran Kekula: This place has nice views of the city skyline and Charles River. I recommend a lobster roll and hummus plate. The drink menu includes several mock tail options.
Aatiyah Paulding: Parking: Parking was free with restaurant validation.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible. It's in a hotel so ADA compliant.
Kathryne Hemmings: Really enjoyed this place, and the food was great. It's in a lovely location with a great view of the river too.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Michael Sollami: Try the sweet potato tots.
Irene P35216: Decided to try this for Thanksgiving dinner. Did not disappoint. Food was delicious and way more than we could eat. It was served family style with bowls of each item being brought to our table. They even provided takeout containers so we could take our leftovers home. We have enough food left for at least two more meals. The wait staff was super attentive and nice. View of the river amazing. Fun atmosphere but not too crowded or noisy. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can try the outdoor patio.

Jaye Aster Broder: Harvest is a reasonably large space with a nice brunch that can host private events. Overall the quality of the American style food was very good but the poached eggs in the eggs Benedict were unevenly cooked across multiple orders. One egg was poached normally with a runny yolk and one was over cooked; photo is posted. Whatever containers are used for making the cheesecake don’t release well so there were visible chunks of cheesecake missing along the sides. I might recommend Harvest for brunch celebrations but not as a go-to.
Jeremy Huang: Expensive but tasty. Got the Skate dish and was pleasantly surprised. Do i personally find it worth 70 for a main and a beer? Not really, but it was good.

I did go here over the winter, and I think the fall/ summer outdoor seating would be even more pretty.Coming to the service, the staff was friendly and the service was great. It did take ever so slightly long to get our food. But it wasn’t a big deal. The food for most part was pretty damn good. I would definitely go here again, to literally eat the same thing. We got:Vegetarian chili- 9/10. I do wish it was a little more spicy. But it was flavorful neverthelessEast coast oysters: 7/0. I am allergic to seafood but from what I heard, it sounded like the oysters were not worth the priceEggs Benedict: 9/10 well cooked eggs, salmon and very flavorfulHarvest breakfast: 8/10 we asked for over easy eggs, but it looked like it was slightly overcooked. The bacon was a little too greasy, but super crispy and yummy. The sourdough was lathered in butter and basically fried which made it tasty but also super crunchy and greasy.Overal we did really like this place and will definitely go there again.
