Colette Wine Bistro: what do users think?
Kevin Shoe: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Mandy Xu: please do not come here! had a a terrible customer experience
Timothy Deer: Recommended dishes Root SpecialMore
Christine Chao: Beautiful interior but brunch was quite pricey for the amount of food and quality of food that was served. The mushroom crepe was filled with onion ends and did not have much flavor. The potatoes were good though.
Peter Ph: Well appointed and not too tightly packed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good, though given there is "French" food on the menu, it's a shame the food isn't more authentic - very Americanized. The duck vol au vent was good. The biggest drawback is that it is very noisy when busy. If you like shouting to your dinner companions over the table, this is the place for you. If you want a relaxed dinner, maybe this isn't the place for you. Of course, the restaurant doesn't want customers to relax, as it is much more profitable to maintain high turnover.
Ben Jackson: New menu is full of hits, we had the family style porterhouse (pic), bunch of sides and the tagliatelle. Service was attentive without being on top of you and the beverage list is rounded out well. Solid spot for a group dinner or just to pull up to the bar for a nice glass of wine and some snacks.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chelsea Shin: It is a decent french place, but don’t keep your expectation high. We had a few dishes, but nothing really stood out. I may try this place again, but I will prioritize other restaurants over this one. Also, the atmosphere is kinda off, it is by the hotel lobby and it feels like a hotel restaurant not in a good way.
Aarti Choudhary: Talking about food- food was really good (vegetarian). Staff was friendly except the one who brought us at table. Another server was friendly, polite but was not able to explain whether the meat is cooked or not. Consistency of food are different. Sweet dishes are good. But I m not satisfied with food and the lady who took us at our table.
Simran Malik: The food was good, but even when we ordered the same dish the consistency was different. We had to wait even after an early reservation, the rest of the staff was friendly but one lady was making un polite faces while taking us to our seats. We experienced hostile behavior when we asked her about the dish which wasn’t fully cooked. We went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday and was extremely disheartened after the experience.Though the place was beautiful and some dishes were really good, I don’t think the experience was something friendly towards us.
Ben Touimi: Food tastes amazing and the service is great. The place looks really nice and the staff is super friendly.
Christabel Barry: If you are a woman who wants to enjoy a drink in peace DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and I reserved seats at the bar. It was a busy Friday night but the entire time we were harassed by a drunk man who hovered over our seats and wouldn’t leave us alone after being told several times to step back. The bartenders were too busy to intervene but they did see it playing out and did nothing. Do not recommend this as a safe space for women or queer people.

Dan Drago: Excellent! From the amazing decor to the absolutely delicious food to the prompt and friendly service, everything was great. We had Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the experience. Definitely worth a visit.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Emily Malamet: Great experience, the food was amazing, the lounge is cute, and chef de Alex was great. The bar was beautiful for a night out
Katie Inman Fuentes: Excellent cocktails, friendly service, great vibes.
Ben Kahan: Recommended dishes French Onion SoupMore
Alex Schmidt: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Christopher Robertson: Wonderful dining experience all around. The banquettes are strangely deep tho. Need pillows.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Paid street parking, Valet …More
David Saakyan: Food quality has definitely declined since we were there about a year ago. Service was slow but very friendly.Food: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ashley Proietti: Colette hosted our engagement party. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration perfect! Everyone loved the food and had a great time. Not to mention the decor is stunning, the perfect background for celebratory pics! Would highly recommend.
Francisco Ángeles: Fantastic location, good tables and lighting, and fine staff. The atmosphere is amazing. Food is okay. Not bad but far from memorable. The wine list could be (in fact, should be) so much better. Very good price per quality, though, considering the place’s look rather than food.

Puritan & Company: what do users think?
Joe Cabral: What an amazing addition to the Cambridge dining scene. Maybe the best new opening in years. The food, which is amazing, is only overshadowed by the impeccable service. I'm officially obsessed.
Ben Jams: A thoroughly pleasant and delicious dinner. Service was excellent and the ambiance was cordial and proper.Every dish I tried surprised me in it's own way with a unique flavor profile that satisfied just about every taste bud of mine. The oysters were sweet and creamy. The mushrooms were crunchy and bitter. The carrots had a nice acidic bite. The chowder was actually more lighter than I'm used to but then topped off with a savory bite of bacon. The pasta was my favorite with wonderful texture and nicely balanced sauce. Dessert was very decadentThe only downside is that our server recommended the carpaccio. It was a very one dimensional dish and lacked it's own personality which every other dish had.Food: 9/10Service: 9/10Vibes: 8/10Value: 4/10
Babak Momeni: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
E V: We tried to have dinner there but unfortunately were rudely turned away. We were told all tables are reserved and there is no availability. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case since it was 6pm on a Wednesday and the entire dinning area was empty for the exception of 1-2 tables. Most likely this was their reaction to my 2 school aged boys walking in first ahead of the adults. I would not recommend the place, no food is worth unfriendly service. Definitely not a family friendly place. So that evening we ended up in one of the nearby Portuguese restaurants, where were greeted warmly and the waiter was nice and friendly with everyone in the party, the kids included.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. No kids allowed.
Nayara Leite: The dinner, service, and ambiance were great! We visited to celebrate my wife's birthday, and everything was perfect. All the drinks we tried were delicious: lion’s tail, indio skies, and vieux carre. The dishes we most liked were the carpaccio and seared scallops. We will come back to try the oyster bar.
Charles Law: The food is ok. Expect to order salad and vegetables separately because the portion sizes are small.I tried: pumpkin risotto, orecchiette (short rib ragout), duck confit cassoulet, cheesecake, toffee cake, and creme bruleePros:- Ingredients are fresh and high quality.- The cook tried to be creative with interesting ingredients.- Mixed drinks are good and the bartender was friendly.- The duck was good. The Baylee's Creme Brulee was good (not too sweet). The short rib pasta was okCons:- I did not care for any of the other dishes. They were bland or the flavors did not work together.- The basil oil on the cheesecake did not work with the other flavors and the gelatinous cake texture was just bad.- The waitress was obviously annoyed when we did not order appetizers or vegetables.I regret choosing this restaurant and will not return.
je pe: One of my favorite place around Inman square food is good and the cocktails are niceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Craig Mackiewicz: Great food, service and drinks. Waiter had excellent recommendations too.
Colin Maraganore: Absolutely incredible — if Boston did Michelin Stars (which they don’t), they’d have one. The ambiance, friendly staff, and relaxed vibe take this delicious and reasonably priced food to another level. A wine list full of oddities and variations is the cherry on top.If you have allergies, don’t panic. Call the restaurant the day of and let the host know which allergies you have. They will check with the chef to make sure it is doable, then the chef will personally modify anything he can to suit you. Not only is it modified, but it’s still delicious. It’s above and beyond.
Justin Mueller: Went here for Valentine's Day. The food was not undersalted. It was completely unsalted. Every supporting cast of side vegetables was bland. The cocktails tasted... weird? The steak was the right cook, but tough and clearly not cooked with enough butter. All of the salads were underdressed. Everything was too cold. The only thing that wasn't was the dinner rolls, which still took 40 minutes to arrive. You might think this is because of holiday crowding, but it really wasn't that crowded. The desserts were overly sweet and had odd, grainy textures. For the massive price tag, I was at least hoping for it to be edible.
Candace Adelberg: I can't believe I paid $18 for the fig and chevre toast, which used what seemed to use two small pre-sliced store bought sandwich bread slices. The little leaf salad was also disappointing. Overall the food is very overpriced for what you get. Great service though. And the desserts were actually quite good. For somewhere that charges a $150 reservation cancellation fee, I would have expected a better experience.
Andi Land: The food and the vibe were both excellent, but the portions were really small for the price. The service started out okay but then became pretty inattentive. Took 10 minutes to get a second drink order. Physically the restaurant is quite nice and I had no problem with parking. Overall it was a good experience but I wanted two entrees for the size of what they delivered for the price.
Alex Feyder: Awesome dinner. Had the tasting menu. Cannot say enough about the squid ink pasta w/lobster and the lamb. Everything course was fantastic
Charles Spellman: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Joseph Badlissi: Excellent food. The rolls were to die for. Excellent Strip Steak and good salad. Worth visiting again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Michael Hannon: This place is awful and the staff was incredibly rude. The last time I visited, I tried to order a glass of wine with dinner and was asked for my ID. I am 38 years old, so I found this incredibly surprising. I gave them my valid Canadian ID, but they said they wanted to see a passport. Um, who goes out with their passport? I couldn't provide a passport, so they refused to let me order a glass a wine. I've lived in the US for 6 years and in that time I have always been able to order wine with a meal at a restaurant. Again, I am a 38 year old professor and don't exactly look like I'm 19. I understand why you might want extra proof for someone who looked younger, but the whole situation was so absurd and insulting, especially because I was there with my partner to celebrate some good news, that we decided to leave without ordering food. Go to Barcelona or Harvest instead.
Justin McCarthy: I attended a new years eve tasting menu with my significant other. A credit card was required to make the reservation in advance at a cost of $85 per person, with a required 20% gratuity. When we arrived at 9:05 for our 9pm reservation, we were asked to wait by the bar for an additional 10 minutes. This was foreshadowing for how the entire experience would go. The staff was friendly, polite, and added a redeeming quality. The food was tasty despite extremely small portions (6 pieces of gnocchi... come on man). We had opted for several items that required upcharge. The only upcharged item that was even remotely worth it was the seafood risotto. All in all, this experience was not worth the money or efforts. It may have been an off-night for Puritan & Company, but somehow I doubt that based on the other Google reviews...
Edward Fleming: Good food good drinks friendly people but let's be honest it's all about that bread
Ilya Yurchenko: Very mixed experience. Poor service from our waiter. He served me and extremely watered down and unpalatable espresso martini. When I asked for a different drink he said « what did you expect? ». This set a really bad tone for our experience here. He also took butter for our rolls away before we were done eating. Food itself was good, though overpriced. Carpaccio was tasty but small. Same for the buratta, could use more salt. Fusilli was really good! Rolls were delicious. Swordfish Reuben was tasty but too salty. Overall would try them again, but ideally with better service
Zach Moses: Small well crafted dishes that can get a bit pricey for a weeknight dinner, but the food is well worth the price. Cocktails were phenomenal. The vibe is cozy and slightly formal/upscale.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Korapin Srisom: Reservations is recommend but still possible to walk in.The staffs are nice helpful. We arrived without reservations but squeeze us in as soon as there is open table. We start with roasted carrot that come with lemon yogurt is go well together. The best dishes that we like New England Ciopino and Fusili.

Barcelona Wine Bar: what do users think?
Annika Nelson: Fantastic date night spot! We like to go early and find two seats at the bar for small bites and wine flights. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, food is fantastic and there’s something for everyone. We never skip the albondigas and the potato tortilla but it’s a great place to try new flavors in food and wine.
Z P: Amazing food and wonderful staff! I def will be coming again.

Jess Walsh: Oh. My. Goodness. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and we had an AMAZING time! All the food was delicious, the mussels and the spinach/chickpea cazuela in particular. Service was beyond impeccable. Our server, Olivia, was attentive and lovely and so so sweet to us, as was Damien at the host stand. We already loved this place, but the way we were treated tonight sealed the Cambridge location as the favorite of favorites for tapas and good wine.
johnny smith: It was a nice slow Sunday perfect for a friend meet up and casual hangout. The tapas were quick and efficient when being brought to the bar. The croquetas were cheesy and warm and tasty 😋 same as the papayas bravasService: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Keep Coloring: I deliver foods here so I have been in their kitchen and I would eat every meal here if I could!!!
Elyssa Hannan: Great vibes, awesome wine, allergy friendly. They marked up a menu for me to show me which dishes are dairy free. I attached a photo in case that’s helpful for anyone else 😌
Gregory Robinson: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More

Saurabh Gupta: Great food. The squid ink pasta was incredibleFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Potato Tortilla, Patatas Bravas, Olive Oil Cake Slice …More
Caylie Whiteside: The manager Emma is incredible! The restaurant was overflowing with people and yet it was so clear she had everything under control and was running the show efficiently. She made sure everyone was taken care of and felt extremely welcome. Our server Valentina was also so sweet and attentive. And of course the food is DELICIOUS and comes out so quick. Great place :)
Michelle Yuncosa-Chavez: This place really exceeded my expectations. The good was definitely a 12/10. But what took it over the top was the amazing staff!! Highly recommend
Adam Amin: All the dishes were great. Beef empanadas were 10/10,Rating:8.8/10Recommended dishes Grilled Octopus, Patatas Bravas, Spinach and Chickpeas …More
Josh Denault: Our first visit to this spot, and we enjoyed ourselves! The food was very good, drinks were solid, and service was friendly. One thing that can be hard to find in the Boston area, and specifically in Cambridge, is value. There are plenty of very good places to eat, but many leave me wondering if I've gotten value for my dollar. Barcelona Wine Bar didn't leave me feeling that way. We shared 6 small plates, and two drinks each, and were able to get out feeling full, satisfied in terms of experience, and for about $110 before tipping.I can't remember everything we had, but I think the highlights included the brussels, the ham and cheese croquets, and the hummus were all very good. Wasn't a huge fan of the empanadas, but I think that's truly the only thing I wasn't thrilled with. We'll definitely be back.
Emilio Latorre: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Potato TortillaMore
Ben Chiu: Good enough bar but don’t seem to understand what a reservation is
Bl ake: Some of the food tasted like it came out of a microwave… other dishes were good. Still prefer the Brookline location because their service is more consistent.

Gran Gusto: what do users think?
Kristen Dionne: Delicious neighborhood Italian spot in Cambridge with a confusing as heck parking situation but I made it! The antipasto plate was super super fresh and lovely. My pasta dish actually ended up being tossed around in a cheese wheel next to our table before being served to me and I was beyond happy with this surprise because the more cheese the better, always! I am excited to come back to Gran Gusto!
Karen Messick: Had the bolognese, but was a little disappointed in the lack of flavor. It was average, but other guests I spoke to while there assured me the food is usually amazing. May try again and get something different.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Prosciutto Di Parma …More

Marco Ugolotti: Gran Gusto … what else! Still after 15 years the best Italian pizza place in Boston. Great antipasti and pizzas and all the food is real Italian. Great wine list …. At the right price!Recommended dishes Ricotta Cake, Ceci, Calamari, Margherita Pizza with Fresh Basil …More
Jay Yin: great atmosphere authentic ittalian run location.10/10 atmospherefeels like I should be wearing formal or semi formal whenever I go here.10/10 foodThe food here is hard to compare with othe places and can only be tried yourself.I recommend going here multiple times and trying pretty much everything on the menu, thats what I did.
Laney Morse: Made a reservation for Saturday night and had a great experience! Staff was so friendly and always very attentive - it’s a very well-run restaurant and you can tell they genuinely care about the customers and the product they put out! We ordered drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, dessert and coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious, good portions for the fair price and we enjoyed everything. The little details really made it - explaining items on the menu, the coffee being very hot with the dessert, and everything else. We’ll absolutely be recommending this to others and we’ll be back!
Marilynn H: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Anh Phuong Le: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes ScialatielliMore
Alexandra Philip: Would give this place 0 starts if I could. Not only is the food low-quality, but the service is abysmal (and openly racist). My partner and I came for dinner and were the only people of color in the establishment. It took 30 min for someone to come take our order on a quiet weekday evening, while folks who came in after us were already receiving food. Servers were rude and dismissive, and food was cold and tasteless. Recommend going to Carmelinas in the North End for some real Italian and excellent service or Olive Garden for the same food at a cheaper price.
viliam alberini: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Monique Zipeto: Must try. Pasta so good it will bring tears to you eyes. We love this place!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
dorothy heisey: We had 2 pizzas to go on Thanksgiving! we Had it one day later on Thanksgiving.we’d buy it more often but on a strict money procedure. get the Quadro.(everything on top) Yum!Parking: Fine with Cambridge permit.
Danilo Ciccola: Best Italian food in town, Antonio will take good care of you, and even make you laugh.
Youyeon Choi: Nice Italian food and wine with reasonable price
Miles: Gotta go back to old reviews n change them cause this inspired a new expectation
Nicholas Stamoulos: Cozy charming authentic Italian. Just the right amount of selections to offer choices but not overwhelm. Never had a bad meal there. Owner is pretty cool and sociable... but he could be a little nicer to staff. I was there for late lunch one time before pandemic and he was not very warm and fuzzy prepping wait staff for dinner. Otherwise never had an issue with service or anything else. Highly recommend...my friend from Bologna introduced me ... he knows his food. Nothing wrong with atmosphere... only been there day time....just nothing special. Maybe better low lit at night. Definitely enjoyed private area for private events one time.
Emily Rode: Wonderful experience. Attentive staff and food was great.

Very very generous portions and the service is really good. They have on two separate occasions actually messed up my order where they gave me sweet potato fries instead of regular shoestring...and then just gave me my shoestring fries on the house! Their drink menu is very good and their sangria is top notch. Even if I move out of the area, will likely come back to eat here
