Lucy Wilmot: The ladies that work there are amazing tailors and take care of all of my very expensive dry cleaning. With regards to tailoring, they have hemmed jeans for me but kept the nice finished original hem and they have held up amazingly well. They also hemmed a romper, fixed the lining of my coat, and have hemmed really nice evening dresses of mine. With regards to dry cleaning, from a full glass of red wine on a grey coat, silk tank tops with stains, to expensive cocktail dresses, they handle all of my items with extreme care. They charge fair prices for the quality of handling they deliver, and if you’re a loyal regular customer they treat you especially well with discounts and expedited dry cleaning.

Gal Lin: I would strongly suggest to stay away from this place. I had my suit dry cleaned, and got it back without one button. It was just ripped off. They refused to take responsibility, refused to compensate or refund me, and offered instead to just replace all the buttons in my suit with some wore down and inappropriate buttons they had in the back.I really wanted to like this place - it's convenient, inexpensive and the staff is always nice - but I guess you get what you paid for. I would avoid it at all costs.

Maurice Burger: Unfortunately I had a very negative experience with Royal Cleaners. I brought in a jacket for dry cleaning and a repair of a small tear. Instead of taking 1 week, I had to wait more than a month to get the jacket back. After four weeks and three visits, I received a text message saying that they had accidentally broken my jacket. When first bringing in the jacket I had told the lady that it was an old jacket that was very dear to me as it belonged to my late father. Unfortunately the jacket appears to be beyond repair now. When I went back for the fourth time to pick up the jacket today, the man at the store made me wait and served other customers before me until he finally handed me my broken jacket. I won't go back and hope this review will get the owners to reconsider their practices.

Gabriela: If you are looking for a professional cleaner, stop looking. Cleanadora is the place. Seriously. I cannot say enough great things about them. I found them on Google and they had amazing, exclamation-filled reviews. I now understand why. I hired them for a deep clean for our home and they cleaned corners and spaces I did not know could be cleaned. Seriously. They removed each knob from the stove to individually wash them; they cleaned our dog's bowl and placemat, rolled up the living room rug so they could vacuum and mop underneath; ...and on and on. I was so impressed by their attention to detail that I hired them on the spot for regular cleanings. Why? I've had other cleaners deep clean our house, but none cleaned with so much attention to the small details. The owner arrived to introduce the cleaning crew, answer any questions, and explain what would be done. She later returned to help her team clean. They were coordinated and divided the house. All were professional. Additionally, they have an office person so you receive an immediate response to any question about products, etc. Finally, the pricing is up front and based on the number of rooms/bathrooms, number of windows, etc. and you can do add-ons (ie, windows). My home is sparkling. They are a new-ish (2020), woman-owned, small business based in Cambridge. Five well-deserved stars.Service:Deep clean

Joseph Pacheco: It was a pleasure working with the Cleanadora team. They were very communicative from the start and fully through the process. For a move-in cleaning of a 2bed/2bath condo of 1150 sq ft they finished in about an hour and a half, but everything was spotless. All of the appliances look brand new again, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the bedroom carpeting was soft and felt like new. Andrea Tedesco: I took my wedding suit here and unfortunately it appears to have been shrunk in the process. Neither the pants or the blazer fit the way they did pre cleaning. I’m extremely disappointed as this is the most I have ever spent on clothing and had been intending to wear it for years to come.

Juan Castillo: Brought like 200$ worth of dry cleaning here, but they were unable to clean SEVERAL of the items (stains remained).Not the first time they’ve returned something in subpar shape (last time something came back with a new stain) — yet they always charge in full.Unfortunately, looking through the other reviews it seems like returning things with stains is common for this location.This is a highly overpriced laundromat imo.Definitely will be taking my dry cleaning elsewhere.Update: They also put their dry cleaning tag through my Fiancés couture dress, appalling work.

Clemente T. Sánchez Barja: Amazing experience. Not only did they clean a suit for a very reasonable price ($17 dollars in early 2023), but they also did a great job sewing buttons to a leather jacket from the 80s. Staff is really nice, and work pretty fast. 100% recommended.

胡金儒: The service of alterations is so fast and great! It took them only 1.5 days to finish two pairs of my pants. And the work was so fine that you barely can see the differences from the original ones. The price is fair. In my case, it’s $36 for two pairs of pants.
Cindy Wu: Extremely disappointed with my experience at this business. I’ve previously brought items in for dry cleaning and was happy with the results. However, one month ago, I brought in two dresses and one shirt for dry cleaning, none of which were particularly dirty. When I picked up the garments, the dresses both smelled awful, but the shirt was fine. Upon realizing this, I returned to Mid Cambridge Cleaners and asked him what could be done about it. The owner immediately raised his voice, and started gaslighting me. He claimed that the dresses did not smell, that perhaps it had to do with the dry cleaner’s detergent or my body odor, and accused me of lying to him (insinuating that i had taken the dresses home and somehow made it smell at home). I eventually got a refund for one dress (my friend needed to wear it so we rushed it to another dry cleaner who described the smell as, and I quote, “dead smell, not human smell”).As for the other dress, he allegedly sent it back to the cleaners, but my friend went to go pick it up for me and it still had the same stench. Rather than apologizing, he once again started denying that the dress smelled, accusing her of lying, and yelling in a very unpleasant manner. Ultimately, he sent it back to the cleaners and I just picked it up now. It smells fine, but I expressed my displeasure to him and am expressing it here so others are warned.It’s not that the dresses smelled bad: I understand mistakes and anomalies occur. It’s the way he treated me, and my friend, that I found disappointing and unacceptable. I do my best to treat others with respect, and hope to be treated with respect in return. That did not happen with Mid Cambridge Cleaners.

They have never successfully removed stains from anything I drop off, and I usually just pay the $3-4/shirt to avoid confrontation.Last week, I arrived a few minutes before closing. I was admittedly cutting it close, but I arrived before closing with enough time to pick up -- but they had closed early. I had a flight in the morning, and had to drop $50 on a new shirt instead. I absolutely could have planned better, but they also could have been open during their entire stated hours.That same evening, another woman got there at the same time I did. She had called ahead asking if they'd be open until 6, and they said they would be -- but she was shut out too.Summary: Avoid if you need stains removed from clothing, or if you need something cleaned in an urgent situation.

Rand Abu Al-Sha'r: I took my cashmere coat here after an accidental matcha spill which caused a stain that was very hard to remove. It was a very difficult stain to deal with but they dry cleaned the coat not once but twice to make sure all traces of the stain were gone and were very helpful at talking me through it.

I brought in a set of polka dot, sheer curtains (which I love) that had a large, black, oily stain the length of one panel from a poorly burning, smoking kerosene lamp. The owner wasn't sure if it could be removed, but said he would try his best. He cleaned them himself in-store and had to clean them three times, but was totally successful! Julia Paolillo: I’ve never had a bad experience at Huron, and I’m posting because I’m disappointed to see people calling the owner “aggressive” in reviews. I had an experience once where I was told that my clothes would be ready by 5 on a given day, but came in at noon just to see, as I wanted to wear one of the items that night. I wasn’t particularly polite, and the owner was much nicer to me than I deserved. If anything, this situation should have prompted the “aggressive” attitude others posted about, but I got nothing but polite, respectful responses as he explained why my clothes weren’t ready. I almost didn’t go back because I was so embarrassed by my own behavior, but I’m so glad that I did. As some have noted you’ll pay more here than other spots around Cambridge, but you’ll also get a better product (pants and shirts aren’t overly ironed, nothing comes back with staples in the tags as at other places). I love the student discount and don’t mind paying up front for it - makes pickup a lot easier too!

I use for all my general clothing dry cleaning and have also used for wash, dry, fold and winter storage in the past. The services are of the highest quality, and always ready when promised.
