They also have juice boxes for kids and a nice assortment of pastries. Simon's Coffee Shop: what do users think?
Thao Nguyen: 10/10 ice chai latte 👌🏼
Cameron Salamone: 💯
H Thaker: Stick to the lattes. The drip coffee tastes like it's from a Keurig coffee machine. Good neighborhood vibe.
Valentin Salazar: A good café, a little bit expensive but with a rich atmosphere, The coffee is nice. The only thing is that the baristas only speak one languageWheelchair accessibility: This café has wheelchairs accessibility
LazyCheetah: Drip coffee was alright, the Rubios latte (not sure how to spell it lol) on the other hand, was very tasty!Staffs were nice and friendly, bathroom was kinda dirty.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Esther Ye: Very unique and chic vibe for a place to hang out, have some coffee, and a quick bite. Their sandwiches and scones are quite popular.
Riko Cribbs: A little over $14 for a BLT sandwich and Chai Latte (I like mine with a shot of espresso, which I'm sure was a little upcharge). This was my first time ordering from here. I was in and out, can't speak to the "ambience" of the place. But...The barista today did me a solid, and I'm forever grateful for that. Wish I caught their name, but give em a raise!FOODI asked for the multi grain bread on the BLT, and wasn't really sure what to expect cus I've never had Iggy's multigrain before (I'm low key obsessed with their ciabatta bread tho!) but it was really good — if you're a fan of true grain breads. The crunchy kind.Whatever condiment they put on the BLT is a mystery to me, but they put just the right amount of spread on it. Not too thick, not squishing out the sides when you take a bite. Just enough. And it amps up the umami, elevating it from your typical, bland BLT.DRINKBe aware that they don't have a large coffee menu. They're pretty bare bones as far as coffee goes. Don't expect to get any fancy flavors like "mint chip julip pomegranate with avocado foam and a pump of apple crisp flavor." No. None of that. There are photos of their menu posted on here, I suggest taking a close look at the coffee + hot drinks board before making the trip. The Chai latte (hot) with a shot of espresso was delicious in my opinion. No added cream or sugar necessary. I mean it helps when you start with a GOOD CHAI, and I felt they started with a good Chai. I didn't find the espresso to be overpowering on the flavor either, but I'm someone who enjoys a good strong coffee flavor. Each sip I could taste both, and it was lovely.**NOTE**You cannot order drinks over the phone from Simon's. Must order in person(maybe you can order drinks thru Uber Eats/DoorDash tho, I haven't looked)

Sophia Liang: Warm interior to feel cozy. Small with an campus vibe.
Ava Gallerani: The best coffee shop in Cambridge. The people there are the nicest people I have ever met. The shop also has great non-caffeinated options. The environment is so friendly and the appreciation for artwork and artists is showcased all around the shop. I highly recommend.
Sheri Galyean: Best place for conversation in Cambridge. Great staff. Great owner.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
otterenko: I love the cozy vibe and delicious coffee at Simon’s. I spent many afternoons working on my dissertation here. To the reviewer who complained that this coffee shop isn’t like Starbucks: you're right. This is absolutely not like Starbucks, a giant global corporation. It is a small business run by a local resident, helping to build community. Thank goodness Simon’s is still going strong after so many years, thanks to the support of many students and neighbors.
Andy Marr: Perfect little coffee shop and minimal queue compared to Bagelsaurus
Lance Li: It’s unfortunate that I have to leave a 3 ⭐️ review for Simmon’s Coffee, because the latte I ordered here was smooth and tasted good. But pricy, for $5/latte, it’s more expensive than Starbucks, and on par with Blue Bottles. I honestly think it is over priced. The real reason for the 2 ⭐️ knock off was the fee-based WiFi, as shown in my picture. In 2022, I have not seen a coffee shop that charges it’s patrons for WiFi usages. And give them credit, they have hourly, daily, even monthly subscription, but if this is the owner’s way of limiting seating time at the coffee shop, it’s going to turn away quite a number of guests. Why doesn’t Starbucks charge for WiFi even though a lot of its patrons literally make Starbucks their “shared office space?” It’s building customer retention. So if you are planning to get some work done at a coffee shop with WiFi, be ready to spend some doughs at Simon’s.
James Barna: no wifi :'

Curio Coffee: what do users think?
Norm Zurawski: Solid little shop which was a comfortable to drink an espresso and get some work done before client meetings. Disappointed that one of the pics showed "pour over" on the menu but they did not have it here. The single person behind the counter was beyond over-worked this morning, so asking her to make me a pour over would have been cruel anyway. The espresso was good and the people seemed to be ordering the waffles repeatedly. I would come back.
Chris Madden1: Delicious waffles and excellent customer service
Jessica Janiuk: I returned to Cambridge after almost 4 years away, and I was so excited to be reunited with Curio coffee. I seriously thought about their liege waffles while I was away. They're so good! The coffee is also fantastic. I would get coffee at Curio every morning if I could.
Y K: Love their waffle.
Alex Griffin: Probably one of the best mochas I’ve had in a LONG time

Pankaj Rupani: Its not a secret that their waffle is probably the best thing to consume with their coffees. Delicious espresso drinks and incredible staff make this place totally worthwhile!
Holly Buehlmann: Great Coffee, great waffles! Service is a bit slow for how many customers they get but everyone is super sweet and helpful!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cappuccino and Waffle, Liege Waffle, Mocha and Waffle …More
James Jang: Came in for the first time so I asked for recommendations on two items. The woman there said that she doesnt drink coffee so she cant give recommendations. I sat down on a table to work on my laptop but she said “oh by the way, we don’t allow laptops here”. So I respectfully closed my laptop and it went back into my bag. When she said my drink is ready, it really felt she didnt want me there. Customer interaction is important and I know this since i worked as a barista before. this had to be the most unpleasant experience at a coffee shop.

Eric Borlaug: Tiny, cheerful coffee shop with solid coffee drinks and pretty exceptionally delicious waffles. Friendly service and fairly priced.
Departed Reflections: One of the best coffee places in BostonFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alex C: This place was on my list because of the award-winning liege waffles, and they were worthy of the praise. So good! There was no pourover service on the day of my visit, but the drip coffee was still excellent.Cute little cafe with a nice vibe and friendly staff.
Jaehoon Lee: Visited here six years ago & I always make time to visit every time I’m in Boston. The waffles here cannot be beat. It’s good to a point where I want to franchise it in brooklyn.
Drew Story: Curio is a nice coffee shop, but I don’t know if I would consider it third wave / specialty coffee. They do not do a pour over. Not much space to sit, and they discourage laptop use on the weekends (which I appreciate).
Sean Germain: Best coffee in Cambridge. Been coming here several times a week for a few years and they never disappoint. Their house-made waffles are always uniquely delicious and fun.

Broadsheet Coffee Roasters: what do users think?
Christopher Rosenquest: We happened upon this shop driving through the neighborhood - there was a line out the door! The space is clean but a bit cramped. A very popular place offering a limited amount of food/pastries, a wide variety of espresso and cafe standards, and a seasonal selection of house made syrups. The vanilla soda and iced oat match were good but a little under flavored. The flavor was there but could have been slightly more bold without being overwhelming.Staff was informative and nice.
Brian D: Decent specialty coffee roaster, but a full step below George Howell. The good — fresh (3-10 days old), good selection of single origins and reasonably priced (~$20 for 341mg bag). Staff is nice mostly nice (some of them will cool guy you), but they don’t offer pour overs before or after a certain time of day.Unrelated, they try to justify where they fall short when customers leave bad reviews. I think that’s a bad look but I won’t hold it against em.
Shubham Goyal: Great ambience and coffee. The minimalistic design of the place has its own charm, its very close to harvard.
Raven: Rating for the welcoming atmosphere for my first time visit but the cortado I had couldn’t be worse. Taste was not good with too mush acidity and paper cup for a stay here order.Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Frank Viggiano: Excellent coffee!Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Yashar E. Azam: Great drip coffee! These folks roast their coffee and brew it at a reasonable price. Will definitely go back.
Jared Domínguez: Soooo good. It's where I always buy my bags of coffee.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Yvonne Raia: Lovely, bright with natural light, clean coffee shop selling good coffee.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joe Dulock: it might be the spot i have been hiding, but this is definitely a top spot for boston/cambridge/somerville. quiet and peaceful in the mornings. you'll see a few people doing work on laptops & a few people having quiet (and sometimes loud) conversations to eavesdrop.the barista this morning was excellent though, perfectly steamed milk and a crisp rosetta.
Nick Adler: Best beans/brew in Cambridge by a country mile. The rotating batch brew is fun because they really do alter the flavor profile significantly day to day. Owner and staff are always kind and helpful.
MINGYUE LIU: Three stars for the past top-notch coffee quality and knowledgeable staff. I used to love this place so much that I always came here in the morning on weekends whenever I have sometime for a cup of cortado + lavender or mocha and enjoyed the rich taste melting in the air. Today I visited again and it seems everything has changed. The new staff don’t know how to make cortado and gave me Americano instead, and they also have no idea about the syrups added. Other changes regarding brunch & pastries have been noted by other reviewers and I’m so sad to see this change. Be aware everyone who is looking for excellent coffee shop experience! You may be disappointed :(
Yiannis Karaziakos: Best place for locally roasted coffee in Boston. Prove me wrong. Seriously… send a message and I’ll test your claim.
Nicholas Maguire: Found them through the trade coffee subscription, Long story short I cancelled that and just buy direct from them. Have not been let down by a single bag so far. Also have tried some of the drinks and the flavors are amazing. We do a weekly work order on their bags of coffee at work now because everyone loves it. Would recommend to anyone!
Noam Peled: Heavenly espresso!
Blake Yard: Was recommended this spot by a local and wasn’t disappointed, much better than the coffee I had from some other shop my first day in boston. Drip was solid a fruity forward tasting. Cortado was pretty decent, milk seemed a touch thick.
John Sullivan: I went here today for the first time since covid and was sorry to see how the pandemic had changed things. Their light fare was excellent and is sorely missed. The space is still nice but less inviting than it once was (fewer seats, more merchandise, you know). Nonetheless, it is superb coffee, a bright spot in a city saturated with chains.
Natalie Yosipovitch: Unlike the pictures suggest, this cafe NO LONGER SELLS MEALS! You can still by pastries, but there is no food menu like the pictures on google maps suggest. I came to this coffee shop based on a recommendation I received from a facebook group, and while I was disappointed I couldn't get one of their delicious looking lunch items that I saw in the pictures of this location, I still loved my overall experience at Broadstreet. The coffee shop had an open and inviting vibe, and it was nice to see people really taking advantage of it by working out of there (I saw a few people on their laptops, so I imagine they have wifi). The latte I ordered was $5 and was the best latte I've had in my four years living in Boston, the perfect amount of milk, the taste and aromatics of fresh ground coffee beans, beautiful coffee art, and served in these cozy large mugs! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Jonathan White: Coffee not too bad. Seating can be made much better given the size of the shop.

Hyder Hasnain: Really good food. Coffee is decent. Quite a lively and interesting place. Tables are close together so you’ll probably overhear some interesting conversations. Attentive staff. Atmosphere can be quite noisy at times. Good place to go on a date, or to study, or socialize with friends.
Arnav Sampigethaya: Really nice vibes and I was so appreciative that they were one of the only places open late at night in all of Boston

Qusai Akoud: terrible service
Matt S: The pistachio cake very good
J D: This place has ridiculous, dysfunctional service. Every single time you walk in, there’s either no hostess to seat you, or they’re too busy to seat you promptly, or you get seated and then wait for ages for anyone to acknowledge you or take your order. I just got up and left after being seated and then forgotten about while the wait staff attended to a queue of four people getting coffee drinks to go. The food is fine, but please hire and provide competent service.
John Mize: Easily my favorite spot in Cambridge. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is great. I love the hummus
Lamia Youseff: This has been my goto place in Boston/Cambridge since 2010 (13+ years ago). Unpretentious hidden gem where you can sit down, eat, do work, get gooood coffee and probably the best fresh orange juice you will ever get anywhere else. Try their "fool", "kefta belseneia" or warm "shakshuka." You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and tasteful bites.
rawad fel: Omg very bad food service very slow + they put rice in shakshowkaI was wondering where’s the chef from ? They are Latino chefs not for medial East that’s why there’s rice in my shakshowkaI will never back
shuning wang: My new favorite cafe place for studying now! Ordered Moroccan mint tea and a coconut dessert. I just like the atmosphere inside. Everyone is friendly and the interior design is so interesting! Love the WiFi and people there who study or play chess :)))) Fun place!

Shiran Soholitsky: The best coffee in Cambridge for sure. The coffee is amazing with a great rich flavor that is really hard to find around.I don't usually eat there, only a pastry and a coffee, but every single one of the pastries is delicious. The rest of the food looks really good, and most people are sitting there for a quick breakfast (the prices are definitely fair). It is a great spot for studying or working with your laptop. The music is really good and it feels like an open space for students and people working from home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Kate W: Excellent coffee, carefully prepared. This place converted me from “meh” to a coffee drinker. They use highlawn farms milk, which is delicious.
Al L.: Try the double mocha! Ice latte and regular coffee is great too. Can’t go wrong with an egg sandwich either.
Eve Ruff: Great coffee and absolutely delicious pastries. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll.
Juan Francisco Armando: Excellent coffee and excellent everything else: had an egg and cheese english muffin which was 🏻, so I had to go back to the counter to try more stuff which I took with me: cinnamon roll (puff pastry, not bun-style if you are interested) and the passion fruit brioche which is absolutely fantastic. Laura Rinaldi: Pleasantly surprised by how good the coffee was. Got the mocha with skim milk and it was delicious. Employees were all very kind & welcoming, and they had good music playing. Will definitely be coming back! The pastries we tried were great, too.
The Unicycling Unicorn: Good coffee at a reasonable price! Free wifi and clean bathrooms.
AP S: Breakfast sandwich is great (combo of sauce + banana peppers is on point) and the coffee is solid too
David Horning: Excellent cafe by day with good coffee and food. I had an egg sandwich that was delicious. By night it's also a most excellent brewery. Only thing was when I visited almost every seat was taken with most of them being people working from their laptops, but I guess I can't blame them.

Sanjana Shetty: Tatte bakery is one of the most famous cafes in Boston area. Offering Israel inspired food for almost 15 years now. I particularly like their mozzarella sandwich. They do have pretty good variety of beverages to offer including matcha. My favorite among them is the Honey Halva Latte

Darwin's Ltd - Cambridge St.: what do users think?
Captain Space: Great place to go for breakfast coffee shopFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Julia G: Closing forever on December 22nd. This has been a mainstay forever! Solid sandwiches and coffee. My friend got the tiniest avocado toast we had ever seen, I enjoyed my turkey sandwich, and a very well-made Matcha latte.
Clayton Haapala: Too bad they are closing.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Kenneth Perry: The coffee and sandwiches here are top notch. They support a wide variety of local vendors including Taza Chocolate. The inside of the store is beautiful, welcoming, and well laid out. I recommend Darwin’s to all friends and family visiting Cambridge.
Margarette Mattos: Muito bomFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Fanny Mixter: Very nice cafe, sandwich was amazing, pumpkin spice latte was perfect (not sweet and a little gingery).
Ron Yang: Someone stole my sandwich but they were happy to make me a new sandwich. These guys are a real neighbourhood place. Love to all Darwin’s locations.
Allie: I come here often because I work in the area. The quality of the food and the kind/friendly staff keep me a regular. I crave the sandwiches and the really yummy lattes 😭😭 so good 🤤🤤Also, my baby loves the people watching here, like me lolzVegetarian options: So yum! When I was pregnant, the veggie options were super clutchKid-friendliness: I'm a regular and know most of the staff by name. Love them! Hard workersParking: Sometimes the metered spots out front are open, but I usually park at a meter on a side street
erik phillips: The white hot chocolate in the fall and winter with a pretty girl is absolutely the best
Jessie Petersen: Get the roast beef sandwich!!! You cannot go wrong.
Shane Woolley: Solidarity with the union!
Simon Kwok: Excellent decaf iced latte. Each bean has its own brewing profile.
Brian Twitchell: Had brunch here. Tasty breakfast sandwich served fresh and hot. They have pastries that sound delicious, but haven't tried them yet. I also had tea with oat milk on the side counter that I could add myself to taste. Pleasantly air conditioned in the hot weather.
Kathy Huang: Fist time breakfast : MassdArt sandwich . Spacious not crowded Tuesday AM.
Jorge Garcia: 1 of my 1st times back since the 3 lockdowns started; little has changed. Exceptional sandwiches & good specialty coffee drinks. (Signage still says too little about options, e.g., that you can order 1/2 a sandwich.) Prices are somewhat high. Fun, academic vibe.
Sanne Boersma: Coffee and scone were not that special and quite expensive
Allen Crockett: I just unwrapped my $13 Soldier's Field sandwich to find the sticker still on the apple! (see photo) I remember when this place was good quality, sad to see it's gone downhill. Save your money and get a sandwich somewhere else.
Alex: Sandwiches, coffee, all the good things you need. Great place to stop by
Pin-Chieh Chen: 超級美式的咖啡廳~三明治口味普通⋯不難吃也沒有特別好吃😂Matcha latte 是無糖的!口味也蠻淡的!室內有蠻多座位的!也可以座外面板凳!
Cam T: Unfortunately this location doesn’t meet the same standard as some of the others from my experience. I stopped by and not only were they out of the meat for the sandwich I ordered, they were out of bread. All bread. A sandwich shop that has no bread. Needless to say I wasted 15 minutes in line to have to leave and go somewhere else.

1369 Coffee House: what do users think?
Bronwyn Murray-Bozeman: best cafe in Central square, possibly the entire city. Get the London Fog.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Anna Chase: I tried the Vietnamese coffee here and I can’t recommend it!It was clear they didn’t use Vietnamese coffee or prepare it in the traditional way, so it tasted like too-sweet watery regular coffee/espresso with the condensed milk. Perhaps stick with the regular espresso drinks…
Eric Pellegrini: I really liked the place's atmosphere. I'll try again earlier in the dayFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Christopher Rosenquest: A real local homegrown cafe in a bustling neighborhood. We met the manager, Hillary, who was amazing, personable, and knowledgeable. The staff were nice and the pastries and food was delicious.I walked away with a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Tracy had the lavender iced latte. We both are breakfast sandwiches made to order - DELISH!100% recommend!
Ian: Charming atmosphere and an absolutely perfect macchiato every time.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Celeste De Palma: This place passes the vibe check. The high ratings are justified. The coffee is an absolute treat, and the staff are super nice. It's one of those lityle coffee shops that invite you to take 5 and just be in the moment enjoying your java while watching people walk by. Great neighborhood gem!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Coffee Cake, Weekend Only Donut Hole, Brewed Coffee …More
Nicholas Paré: Stopped in for the first time last week, and since then I've been back twice because they have what must be my favorite espresso in Cambridge. Good service and chill space too.
Mark Napier: Recommended dishes Bagels, Sandwiches, Brewed CoffeeMore
Linette Davis: I thought the lox bagel was the best thing I had ever tasted. Then I had the spicy BLT and now I'm torn. The chai latte is deliciousRecommended dishes Bagels, Sandwiches …More
Kevin Barhydt: Yup! Excellent coffee, food and service. We are from NY and got up early to take the puppy for a walk. A neighbor walking by guided us to this sweet local gem.I usually only get Americano because I drink decaf, but I took a shot on the fresh brew decaf and was not disappointed. My wife enjoyed a fresh black coffee (regular) and a yummy scone. 8 grabbed a gluten free brownie (OMG good!).5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Marissa Post: Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bagel option for sandwiches
Clay NFerno (Clay Fernald): Friendly staff. Inclusive environment. Great food. My breakfast hack is a bagel with tomato and avocado yum
Melecia Pincock: I love it there and what I get every morning works for me so am okFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sandwiches, Bagels …More
Travis Green: A very pleasant neighborhood cafe with good coffee and tasty pastries--perfect for meeting friendsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lydia Chew: I ordered a hot chocolate (12 oz) with skim milk. I'm grateful for the attempt at latte art, which you can see in the picture. It was a bit bubbly at the top. Overall, the drink wasn't very sweet and the chocolate flavor was pretty light.I'm pretty new to spending time at coffee shops. Each item on the menu didn't feel absurdly expensive individually, but for a café where you bus the table yourself, 20some bucks for 2 when it's not even a full meal feels a little steep. It wasn't too busy on a weekday morning when we stopped by, and there were plenty of tables open. It could be a nice spot to work, and the wifi is public.
Beth Gaudette: love it!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rachit Kejariwal: Spicy mocha is amazing!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Antoni Abella Vendrell: Great draft coffee, one of the best around Cambridge. Their food is great too, my favorites are the breakfast sandwiches with bagels or croissant, and scones. Starting the day with 1369 is always a joy!
John Howard: Some of the best coffee I have had, in this country or elsewhere. Wish the small was 75 cents cheaper and a smaller small, 8-10 ounces. Expensive. Service is also good and rotating art exhibits in Central Square cafe make atmosphere awesome
