Puritan & Company: what do users think?
Joe Cabral: What an amazing addition to the Cambridge dining scene. Maybe the best new opening in years. The food, which is amazing, is only overshadowed by the impeccable service. I'm officially obsessed.
Ben Jams: A thoroughly pleasant and delicious dinner. Service was excellent and the ambiance was cordial and proper.Every dish I tried surprised me in it's own way with a unique flavor profile that satisfied just about every taste bud of mine. The oysters were sweet and creamy. The mushrooms were crunchy and bitter. The carrots had a nice acidic bite. The chowder was actually more lighter than I'm used to but then topped off with a savory bite of bacon. The pasta was my favorite with wonderful texture and nicely balanced sauce. Dessert was very decadentThe only downside is that our server recommended the carpaccio. It was a very one dimensional dish and lacked it's own personality which every other dish had.Food: 9/10Service: 9/10Vibes: 8/10Value: 4/10
Babak Momeni: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
E V: We tried to have dinner there but unfortunately were rudely turned away. We were told all tables are reserved and there is no availability. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case since it was 6pm on a Wednesday and the entire dinning area was empty for the exception of 1-2 tables. Most likely this was their reaction to my 2 school aged boys walking in first ahead of the adults. I would not recommend the place, no food is worth unfriendly service. Definitely not a family friendly place. So that evening we ended up in one of the nearby Portuguese restaurants, where were greeted warmly and the waiter was nice and friendly with everyone in the party, the kids included.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. No kids allowed.
Nayara Leite: The dinner, service, and ambiance were great! We visited to celebrate my wife's birthday, and everything was perfect. All the drinks we tried were delicious: lion’s tail, indio skies, and vieux carre. The dishes we most liked were the carpaccio and seared scallops. We will come back to try the oyster bar.
Charles Law: The food is ok. Expect to order salad and vegetables separately because the portion sizes are small.I tried: pumpkin risotto, orecchiette (short rib ragout), duck confit cassoulet, cheesecake, toffee cake, and creme bruleePros:- Ingredients are fresh and high quality.- The cook tried to be creative with interesting ingredients.- Mixed drinks are good and the bartender was friendly.- The duck was good. The Baylee's Creme Brulee was good (not too sweet). The short rib pasta was okCons:- I did not care for any of the other dishes. They were bland or the flavors did not work together.- The basil oil on the cheesecake did not work with the other flavors and the gelatinous cake texture was just bad.- The waitress was obviously annoyed when we did not order appetizers or vegetables.I regret choosing this restaurant and will not return.
je pe: One of my favorite place around Inman square food is good and the cocktails are niceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Craig Mackiewicz: Great food, service and drinks. Waiter had excellent recommendations too.
Colin Maraganore: Absolutely incredible — if Boston did Michelin Stars (which they don’t), they’d have one. The ambiance, friendly staff, and relaxed vibe take this delicious and reasonably priced food to another level. A wine list full of oddities and variations is the cherry on top.If you have allergies, don’t panic. Call the restaurant the day of and let the host know which allergies you have. They will check with the chef to make sure it is doable, then the chef will personally modify anything he can to suit you. Not only is it modified, but it’s still delicious. It’s above and beyond.
Justin Mueller: Went here for Valentine's Day. The food was not undersalted. It was completely unsalted. Every supporting cast of side vegetables was bland. The cocktails tasted... weird? The steak was the right cook, but tough and clearly not cooked with enough butter. All of the salads were underdressed. Everything was too cold. The only thing that wasn't was the dinner rolls, which still took 40 minutes to arrive. You might think this is because of holiday crowding, but it really wasn't that crowded. The desserts were overly sweet and had odd, grainy textures. For the massive price tag, I was at least hoping for it to be edible.
Candace Adelberg: I can't believe I paid $18 for the fig and chevre toast, which used what seemed to use two small pre-sliced store bought sandwich bread slices. The little leaf salad was also disappointing. Overall the food is very overpriced for what you get. Great service though. And the desserts were actually quite good. For somewhere that charges a $150 reservation cancellation fee, I would have expected a better experience.
Andi Land: The food and the vibe were both excellent, but the portions were really small for the price. The service started out okay but then became pretty inattentive. Took 10 minutes to get a second drink order. Physically the restaurant is quite nice and I had no problem with parking. Overall it was a good experience but I wanted two entrees for the size of what they delivered for the price.
Alex Feyder: Awesome dinner. Had the tasting menu. Cannot say enough about the squid ink pasta w/lobster and the lamb. Everything course was fantastic
Charles Spellman: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Joseph Badlissi: Excellent food. The rolls were to die for. Excellent Strip Steak and good salad. Worth visiting again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Michael Hannon: This place is awful and the staff was incredibly rude. The last time I visited, I tried to order a glass of wine with dinner and was asked for my ID. I am 38 years old, so I found this incredibly surprising. I gave them my valid Canadian ID, but they said they wanted to see a passport. Um, who goes out with their passport? I couldn't provide a passport, so they refused to let me order a glass a wine. I've lived in the US for 6 years and in that time I have always been able to order wine with a meal at a restaurant. Again, I am a 38 year old professor and don't exactly look like I'm 19. I understand why you might want extra proof for someone who looked younger, but the whole situation was so absurd and insulting, especially because I was there with my partner to celebrate some good news, that we decided to leave without ordering food. Go to Barcelona or Harvest instead.
Justin McCarthy: I attended a new years eve tasting menu with my significant other. A credit card was required to make the reservation in advance at a cost of $85 per person, with a required 20% gratuity. When we arrived at 9:05 for our 9pm reservation, we were asked to wait by the bar for an additional 10 minutes. This was foreshadowing for how the entire experience would go. The staff was friendly, polite, and added a redeeming quality. The food was tasty despite extremely small portions (6 pieces of gnocchi... come on man). We had opted for several items that required upcharge. The only upcharged item that was even remotely worth it was the seafood risotto. All in all, this experience was not worth the money or efforts. It may have been an off-night for Puritan & Company, but somehow I doubt that based on the other Google reviews...
Edward Fleming: Good food good drinks friendly people but let's be honest it's all about that bread
Ilya Yurchenko: Very mixed experience. Poor service from our waiter. He served me and extremely watered down and unpalatable espresso martini. When I asked for a different drink he said « what did you expect? ». This set a really bad tone for our experience here. He also took butter for our rolls away before we were done eating. Food itself was good, though overpriced. Carpaccio was tasty but small. Same for the buratta, could use more salt. Fusilli was really good! Rolls were delicious. Swordfish Reuben was tasty but too salty. Overall would try them again, but ideally with better service
Zach Moses: Small well crafted dishes that can get a bit pricey for a weeknight dinner, but the food is well worth the price. Cocktails were phenomenal. The vibe is cozy and slightly formal/upscale.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Korapin Srisom: Reservations is recommend but still possible to walk in.The staffs are nice helpful. We arrived without reservations but squeeze us in as soon as there is open table. We start with roasted carrot that come with lemon yogurt is go well together. The best dishes that we like New England Ciopino and Fusili.

Lord Hobo Cambridge: what do users think?
Andy Morgan: Credit card fees? It's 2023...
Jay Panora: Scotty is the real mvp, made our whole night 🤘
James Smapde: Pretty good bar food and local beer for a tapas and french wine price. Who sells flights for $27??!
James Rubinstein: Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food and beer selection is good. Surprisingly no caffeine free sodas, if you are going with kids, and that's important to you :)
Charlie L: Great local spot. Always classy, always complete. Good music, great staff, and a great layout. And of course, great beer.
Craig Arnold: Great tap room with a great beer selection, ranging from Lagers, IPA’s and stouts. I’ve always been a big fan of Lord Hobo but never have the time to visit the Woburn location when I come from Vermont. The bartender, Camille, was amazing, providing great recommendations, very hospitable and easy to talk to, I felt right at home. Us Vermonters take our craft beer very seriously and this place exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Cambridge. Keep up the good work!
Julianna Pearson: Chill vibes for a quick dinner and drink after work. Love supporting a local brewery.
Eazy: Tips included in your check and then the receipt sneakily asks you to tip more. They also charge a fee for using a credit card. Will not return.
Andrew Zoller: Awesome beer and service. Darker pub vibe and a bit quieter, but definitely a favorite spot. No food.
Shiran Soholitsky: Nice bar, mostly for studentsReally bad smell of fried oil stuck to all my clothes and hair :(
Dominick Pecora: My birthday party reservation was canceled due to a party of 80 coming. All I wanted for my birthday was a juice lord.
Hassan Chehab: Great beer! Highly recommend the stouts.
Jonathan Gosselin: Phenomenal beer with great food. Music was on point this evening. Thanks for a great time. 10/10
Jordan Klein: Great beer and fries
James Anderson: The beers are great! The fish fritters were also good, but the problem comes when you get a couple flights (no price on the menu) and when you pay you find out they are $25 each!! No mention from the bartender that you’re paying for 3 pints and you don’t get to choose your own flight?! 6 3oz pours for that price is out of line. I’ve been to over 100 breweries and had flights at most and this is the most egregious pricing scheme I’ve ever encountered. If not for the sneaky bilking in the flights this would have been a 4-5 star place.
Daniel Iannuzzo: Great place to hang out with friends. The waitress was awesome and helped me find a beer I like since I don’t know much about it - try the black currant sour!
Sumeet Gupta: Great collection of beers and cocktails, service could have been better.
Aaron Cole: Nice spot for a beer and quick bite
Patriots Nation 4 life: Real nice place, its small but has good service and drinks.
Jazmyne Cromwell: Great pretzels and good beers
Jim Kowalczyk: OK. Now mostly a taproom for Lord Hobo Brewing Co., not a craft beer bar as years ago.

Canary Kin: Cheesecake Factory is a favorite across the country. Went to this location Saturday 4/15This location is in a mall and I’ve been here many times over the last 20 years or so.The ambience was nice as always. We had a large group (15+) so had to wait quite a while. I felt like they could’ve done a little better On the wait especially since there were so many empty seats. Our waiter was great. But it’s very hard for one person to handle such a large group. They could’ve probably had one or two more people give him a hand. The menu is vast and always has some thing for everyone. My food came out lukewarm and that severely compromised the dish. (I can’t stand food that doesn’t come out hot). It means it’s just sitting there. I almost sent it back but it would’ve taken forever.Had a taste of one of my family members dish and that came out very nice.Cheesecake factory is one of my favorite restaurant Chains and I’m beginning to get the feeling that this location maybe on the fence. Here are some observations that led me to the conclusion:- The bathroom had napkins strewn across the floor.- The validation parking ticket didn’t work.- Took forever to get drinks then it took forever to get straws- Took forever to get the check.- couldn’t find the lady in the front to validate the ticket. I had somebody else validate it. And it didn’t work.My suggestion is that the manager tightens the systems bit and restore it to its former glory and its true potential.Overall I still give it three stars because some of our dishes came out nice. We had a big group which increases the complexity. Will continue to come back and hoping next time it will be a five-star experience.
Yanick Pierre: The issue with this location is not the staff aside from the managers who are all white. Not sure if this is due to the Pegasus building or the fact that’s it’s Cambridge near a lot of the pharmaceutical companies. But the management diversity needs to be changed ASAP. The reason is the amount of passive comments that are placed on some of the workers is unacceptable. It’s a place of business yes but a place for those who are dinning in then fine if your are the bar then sit and enjoy the tv at the bar with respectful conversation. At this location there is a high Latino population in the floor and in the kitchen. But the location is not what it use to be say 15 years ago. It could be because the dynamic of the mall is changing and This restaurant is the only business that has the culture effect. Truly the waiters and the cooks are like family. They really provide exceptional service. As for the managers not really there won’t who transferred from Prudential and touched whose old and touched the food with her bare hands. Another manager whose nice came from Chestnut hill. Another manager transferred out and reminds me of a Swan who was very very nice but now is at the Prudential. And the general manager I could care less for he is very dry no personality. Matthew was a very nice manager who was very upbeat but transferee to Burlington. There were a few managers who would help out at some of the surrounding locations but I’m not sure how long this location is going to last if there are changes from ownership to have a management that his the interest of they staff at heart. Rather than working them to the ground and glouting. Only time will tell. But the food is great I love that you can customize your order. The Cajun dish should be removed from the menu not a fan.Parking: Good parking

Fast and efficient service made this company gathering perfect. No one had any complaints, all our meals were delicious, flavorful and fresh! The cheesecake speaks for itself, the sandwiches are amazing! Portions are huge. I also ordered the macaroni and cheese cheeseburger which I loved, I had to have it Stuffed, my friends had the teak medal meal which looked delicious and they loved it! We will definitely go back.
