Jaye Aster Broder: The positive parts of Cantab include that it’s typically less crowded than 730 Tavern, is near Central Square metro stop, available tap water, modest size, and live music. The negative parts are the entry cover even on an early weeknight, sticky floors, overly loud music, and adults who ask for tips for their dancing. The cover is not even in whole dollars; it’s $10.50.
Seamus Glynn: Same as it ever was. I have memories of it from 50 years ago. It deserves attention from a historian or a sociologist. It's a window into Central Square's continuity over decades of change.
S D: Smells a bit and if you're up to it maybe worth it for the live music

Sheika Babin: The Cantab Lounge was awesome. It's been a few years since I last patron the lounge but still offers a good experience. My preference is upstairs with the live band. Downstairs is good with the DJ but a younger crowd. Cantab offers something for everyone and a good atmosphere. The mixed drinks are excellent!

Beth Redmond Walsh: Great sirloin tips, and mashed potatoes. Very juicy and perfectly cooked medium rare. The atmosphere leans towards sports of course, soccer mainly. It was quiet being a Monday night so we had the place to ourselves pretty much. The price including drinks and tip was under $100. And the service was very good.

Melody Liu: Neat local shop to check out with imported goods, not just tobacco. They have checkers upstairs.

Anthony Z: It's an okay shop for cigars, but pipe tobacco selection was saaaad. Bulk blends are all name brand stuff I could buy anywhere. They don't even blend their own stuff. When I asked questions to the "pipe guy" there, he didn't have a clue what I was asking. They also don't have any aromatic tobacco but apparently that's a local law that they have no control over. Still a downside.
Patrick McKenna: Great cigar selection. One of the best in Massachusetts outside of Boston I’ve found. No parking outside. Easy to walk to right in Harvard Square. They also sell a lot of random things and other various Tobacco products.

Michael Shehata: A one stop for all your tobacco needs, vape, pipe, cigarettes and rolling tobacco..The smell of the place is just breathtaking 😍..The place is over 100 years old and just full of vintage art..Very friendly staff "Shaun" all are very welcoming and knowledgeable. They even respond to Google maps messages very swiftly.Highly recommended

Cigars, loose tobacco (roll your own cigs (not just bugle), pipes, flake and rope tobacco, and all the usuals as well (packs and cigarillos). Vintage trinkets and nik-nacks litter the room like an eye spy for an older sophisticated well aged man (or woman).The roomate and I have switched from packs to rolling our own from here..and often make the trip just for the 'experience.'

Josh Bodah: Expensive, but one of the best casual restaurants in Boston. We’ve been to various locations many times and always enjoy ourselves. This last time we got brisket and ribs along with cornbread. I highly recommend avoiding the combo plates in favor of the dedicated plates which give you more. The food is not cheap, but the meal is delicious and comes with multiple sauces. Dishes came with pickles and two sides. I also got a whiskey sour and would not recommend it. The sour felt too weak and juicy - unfortunate for a spot that prides itself for whiskey selection. Overall solid and glad we drove back into the city for it
