Pierce Liefeld: Leo and his crew are magicians. I've seen them more than my fair share of times, from cars and bikes hitting our car to a tree crashing through the moonroof and destroying the canopy and it's mechanical housing. Their paint and body work is impeccable, they're always quicker than you'd think, and Denise who runs the front office is a true professional. I only hope I don't see them again!

Silva Silkfern: Used to love this place. Would come here in high school frequently for the student discount, and there was a lovely black man who worked the counter who always recognized me. However, the staff has changed, and the dark haired girl at the counter now is shockingly unpleasant to customers for no reason. Will be going to blicks in the future

Douglas Beach: We went to GNG in Cambridge with our 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman because we are in the neighbourhood, the local Mini dealer nearby sucks in my opinion, and I had a warm recall of "Car Talk". One of the founders met us and got us organized with Casey. Since that time they've done a few repairs and are always diligent, efficient, affordable, honest about issues and time, etc. I go in and say, "here's what's going on, when do you think, here are the keys, see you." They give the appropriate responses, and I'm on my way. On the other hand, I've seen interactions where the car-owner wanted to talk more about "everything". They listen and sort all of that out, too. They are always busy as far as I've seen, they've a staff of family people, and the seem to really care about what they do. Ken Ho: I've taken several of my cars here over a decade or two. They have always been fabulous, never suggesting/pushing unnecessary fixes. I had a bad odor coming out of the air conditioning system that the dealership could not adequately diagnose, I was concerned that I would have to get rid of the car (an older car which I love). Ryan and the team found that I had some sort of refrigerant(?) that was the source of the odor, fixed it, and I was able to keep the car, which I am still happily driving.More recently, Casey evaluated my exhaust system which the same dealership made sound like it as about to explode (or that it might do so at state inspection testing time). Casey said it's actually a small leak, and suggested that it's probably not worth fixing until absolutely necessary given the normal deterioration of such systems in this New England environment. Casey estimated the cost of two different types of repairs for it, one of which will eventually have to be done, but they were basically $1000 or $2000 less than what the dealership estimated.This garage is fabulous!Services:A/C installation repair,Auto A/C recharge,Exhaust,General repairs maintenance

Kelly P: While this is only my second maintenance experience with Good News Garage, each visit reinforces how honest, hardworking and educational these guys are. They hold my hand through each step as I have not owned a car in decades! They strive for the highest quality and err on the side of conservative so you don't blow out your budget. I had an emergency a few weeks before my scheduled maintenance and had to have a gas station garage do some work and I called Casey panicked.He explained why it waa imperative to take care of the issue immediately and even spoke with the mechanic doing the work. That's above and beyond! Ryan is equally helpful as he walked me through some brake issues and other work that can be scheduled over time. Good New Garage is tops in my opinion! gary white: I went for an oil change, tire rotation and a general check up.Casey noticed three of my tires were pretty worn. I suggested getting all four replaced. I didn't know one was still in okay shape. And that's what Casey told me and that he didn't see a need to replace it ( I know many other garages that would take advantage of the situation and sell me a tire I didn't really need.) That really impressed me.I was also there when he patiently, clearly and carefully explained the options involved with servicing my friend's mini Cooper. I have full confidence that he will always tell the complete truth about all car situations. For example, I didn't know what to do about another one of the issues my car was having. So I really appreciate, and have full confidence in, the way he explained the answer to my question, "What would you do in this situation?"It was my first time having work done here. I took my vehicle in for a strange noise coming from the wheels, which they found the cause of but when I picked it up I discovered that it was still coming from a few of the wheels. They took the car back in to resolve the rest of the issue and had it fixed by the end of the day. The part that really won me over is that they didn't charge me for any of the extra labor which I feel pretty confident in assuming that any other garage would have. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Paul came outside to listen - and even took a quick drive around the block to try and assess the issue. He suspected an exhaust system issue, so I left the car for a proper inspection. About an hour and a half later, Paul called me to let me know what the issue was. He had me come back to the shop so he could show me the problem with the exhaust sytem (I live very close, but he also offered to take a video to show me). At first I thought it was a mistake on the part of the garage, and Paul was kind enough to pop by when they’re normally closed to take a look. Turns out the poorly maintained streets were beating the hell out of my undercarriage and the garage had even tried their best to reattach it when doing my inspection! I’ll be coming back on Wednesday to replace the undercarriage piece for good. Definitely a great place.
