Revis and his guys came on Saturday and literally took only an hour and half to fully gut out the old shed and even took extra trash for me. They did an incredible job cleaning up my back yard. They didn't show up at the scheduled time, and no attempts to communicate why were made. I chased the office for any update as we were moving that day and needed the items removed, but the office didn't pass on any update from the crew. We were forced to lift the heavy furniture up and out of the house ourselves and leave it on the street as we needed to hand back the apartment keys. Five hours later, I get an unapologetic call explaining that they had two big jobs that morning (not a valid excuse when I booked an appointment) and they'll come to collect tomorrow. They didn't. Jon Wong: Homestead disposal was awesome to work with. I was tearing down my shed and had both construction debris as well as other materials. Eric from Homestead was extremely responsive to my questions via email (and phone later) and helped clarify what type of dumpster I would need to handle my work. Once the details were sorted, the dumpster was dropped off at my house within 24 hours exactly in the location requested. I loaded it up and Eric also helped me gauge the approximate weight of my materials so I wouldn’t overload the dumpster. Once it was filled, Homestead was back on site within 12 hours to pick up the dumpster. All said and done, even with a slight weight overage, it ended up being several hundred dollars cheaper than a comparable dumpster from W-M, all with a much better customer service interface. This was a shocking 2 ton dumpster that was barely full ! My contractor said I should have ordered a smaller dumpster for this job. After job was done I called and waited for them to remove the dumpster off the driveway for another week ! They had no drivers! Dan McCarthy: Renting a dumpster from Homestead was easy and great. I had checked out a national dumpster search/locator service first on Google and they had quoted a low price but neglected to tell me that they had a 1 ton limit and larger tonnage would cost substantially more. I called Homestead after a friend in Real Estate recommended them. I spoke with both Eric and Greg who were partners at the firm and they were really helpful in figuring out what size dumpster we would need for our clean out project on our house as we were getting ready to sell it. They asked good questions and help me feel comfortable with the size dumpster they recommended. The delivery was excellent and on time - the driver Steve was able to maneuver the big truck and dumpster around our tricky circular driveway and put the dumpster right where we needed it. Two weeks later we requested another dumpster, and Steve once again made the replacement and takeaway a painless job. Finally another driver Nestor did a great job of quickly taking away the second dumpster.All in all, a great team - really personable, and really responsive and super professional.
